US college suggests ‘God is queer,’ heaven forbid you challenge it!

Another liberal institution is challenging an age-old dogma – this time on hallowed religious ground – with radical new ideas. This would not be worrisome if dissenting voices were invited, but that is not the case.

Hell hath no fury than a liberal scorned, and if Swarthmore College, situated on a lush, tree-lined campus in the state of Pennsylvania, teaches that God might be experiencing some doubt over his (her?) sexual identity then who are we mere mortals to doubt it? Perhaps the liberal college might even consider extending an invitation to God the Almighty, who micromanaged the Creation in just seven days, to enroll in this course, which promises to “stretch the limits of gendering, and sexing, the divine.”

Yes, sexing the divine. Questioning whether God might be male or female, however, is not a very radical concept. It is a harmless game of intellectual pursuit, a bit like pondering the existence of angels or whether that eternal hot spot for sinners known by the Italians as ‘Inferno’ is real. Then, along came Pope John Paul II with his 1992 hit release ‘Catechism of the Catholic Church,’ which had the last word on the debate by stating unequivocally that “God is neither man nor woman: he is God.” That blast of papal certitude worked to placate everyone, at least for a while anyways.

Today, with ultra-liberal classes like the one being offered by Professor Gwynn Kessler, entitled ‘Queering God: Feminist and Queer Theology,’ religious doctrine threatens to be turned on its head to such a degree that what is left bears no resemblance to Christian teachings. That could eventually have long-term consequences for society at large, which has depended on religious teaching as a moral anchor in various ways, including in the rite of marriage, raising children and even punishing criminals, for example.

Without delving into specific Biblical passages, it goes without saying that introducing “feminist, queer and transgender” interpretations of God and the Holy Book is guaranteed, at the very least, to spark some heated controversy. And that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. After all, robust debate between dueling parties has been part of the Western world’s experiment with democracy since its inception, and is even enshrined in the First Amendment.

If a controversial idea is presented by some authority figure – in this case, a Swarthmore college professor – then people have the right to offer opposing viewpoints. There is a remedial purpose for this function. If bad ideas are permitted to take root, a bit like an invasive weed, they could literally breed to such an extent that they destroy society from lack of ‘sunlight’ or opposing ideas.

It needs to be emphasized that the course being offered at Swarthmore is not an isolated case. Last year, for example, Pomona College in California hosted a course entitled ‘Queering Childhood,’ which examined “the figure of the child and how this figuration is used… to justify continued cultural investment in reproductive heteronormativity and productive able bodiedness.”

Try wrapping your brain around that idea. Or better yet, try to criticize the college for entertaining such an idea in the first place. Regardless of one’s opinion on the matter, it is only natural to expect that a large number of people will find it controversial and objectionable. And there are many other equally provocative ideas – from teachingelementary school students about transgender lifestyles, to allowing biological males who ‘identify’ as females to compete in women’s sports – which demand careful consideration.

But here is where the relationship with free speech in the United States is getting very complicated. While the so-called progressives enjoy the freedom to challenge every traditional aspect of society and culture, the same freedoms are being denied to those people – mostly conservatives – who are skeptical of their latest pet projects. The fact that this censorship is happening on university campuses, the very birthplace of intellectual discovery, is beyond comprehension. Yet, many students seem oddly oblivious to the problem.

For example, Campus Reform, the publication that reported on Swarthmore’s ‘Queering God’ course, quoted a student who said her college embraces “normalized progressivism, unfazed by even the most controversial topics.”Well isn’t that awesome? Swarthmore College, like many other high-security fortresses of ‘free’ thinking, are totally “unfazed” by the most radical new concepts. However, the remark failed to include a much-needed caveat. The student failed to mention that many institutions of ‘higher learning’ – or ‘hire learning,’ as a wit once called it – are not so accommodating when it comes to tolerating the ideas of those whom they disagree with. In fact, they can get downright testy.

In 2017, for example, UC Berkeley erupted in violent protests ahead of a planned talk by right-wing commentator Milo Yiannopoulos, who has spoken out in the past against feminism and the transgender movement. The protests caused $100,000 worth of damage to the campus.

Today, the typical (il)liberal university, instead of serving as an open, tolerant and receptive setting for healthy and diverse opinion, resembles instead a Trojan horse that is loaded up with controversial ideas – up to and including the ‘queering’ of God and the Bible – and delivered under the cover of darkness into society before any serious debate is allowed. In many cases, these academic courses serve a political agenda, as the Democrats overwhelmingly embrace these liberal experiments, even encode them into law.

In 2016, for example, Barack Obama passed his fiercely controversial ‘transgender bathroom’ law, that allowed biological males who ‘identify’ as females to use the women’s toilet and changing-room facilities. That’s not, of course, how education was designed to work. In fact, the situation has gotten so out of control that Donald Trump signed an executive order this year that cuts funding to any publicly funded university that is “hostile to free speech.”But like a game of tennis, the legislation is guaranteed to swing left once the Democrats are back in the White House.

Although it may seem natural for liberals to challenge tradition, not least of all religious teachings, there could come a point when the modifications are so great that the original product is no longer recognizable. That’s when society could experience a crash of Babel-esque proportions, which might have been avoided had the proper amount of public debate been allowed.

The Western university must once again throw open its windows to the light and allow a diversity of opinion and debate. Nothing less than democracy is at stake.

Note: Campus Reform, a project of the Leadership Institute, is a team of professional journalists that works alongside student activists and student journalists to report on the conduct and misconduct of university professors, whom it accuses of indoctrinating students with their agendas and silencing conservative students.

BLACK SUNY PROFESSOR SAYS HE FEELS “HAPPY” SEEING WHITE HOMELESS PEOPLE BEGGING FOR FOOD

Black SUNY Professor Says He Feels "Happy" Seeing White Homeless People Begging for Food

“It feels like a black nationalist wet dream”

JUNE 24, 2019

A black professor of literature at SUNY Old Westbury wrote of how he feels “happy” seeing white homeless people begging for food.

“White people begging us for food feels like justice,” wrote Nicholas Powers in an article entitled Seeing poor white people makes me happy. “It feels like Afro-Futurism after America falls. It feels like a Black Nationalist wet dream. It has the feels I rarely feel, a hunger for historical vengeance satisfied so well I rub my belly.”

The piece was published by a website called ‘RaceBaitr’ but has since been deleted.

Acknowledging that this isn’t a “good look,” Powers nonetheless denounced Martin Luther King’s message of “show compassion to those who spite you” by asserting, “Go fuck another secretary Martin!”

Claiming that white people are “descendant of murderers who killed our ancestors,” Powers goes on to proclaim, “When a white person begs, maybe a white woman breastfeeding or a young white boy whining like a broken flute, I feel better. Good. It’s not just us. I feel happy. I feel like the scales of justice could shift.”

Powers went on to explain how he enjoys ignoring homeless white people begging for food, writing, “I see in them the history of colonization, slavery and mass incarceration that makes their begging Black people for money ironic—if not insulting. You wasted your whiteness! Why should we give to you?”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Powers’ faculty webpage lists his interests as “feminist theory” and Marxism.

‘Children Can Handle The Kink’ of Pride Parades, Say SJW Parents

‘First of all, nobody likes nakedness more than children,’ says leftist writer

By Jamie White

Social justice parents in Canada have claimed that the kink and fetish themes of LGBTQ Pride parades are appropriate for children.

The question of whether pride parades are kid-friendly has grown in relevance during Pride month, where “Drag Queen Story Hour” events have exploded across the country and footage of a half-naked child “twerking” in front of grown men at a Pride parade has gone viral.

“I can’t imagine a safer place for families to bring children,” sex therapist Pega Ren told HuffPost Canada.

University of Toronto’s “sexual diversity” professor David Rayside acknowledge that Pride parades certainly have sexualizing elements to them, but insisted that none of the “thousands” of kids he’s seen at Pride parades complained about the sexually-charged atmosphere.

“Pride has always had a kind of outrageous edge to it,” Rayside said. “And should we alter that? It is not the Santa Claus parade, and it never was. It shouldn’t be. It can’t be.”

“I’ve seen thousands of kids at Pride, and I’ve never seen anyone fuss about what they see there,” he added.

Writer S. Bear Bergman said that kids love the “bubbles” and “rainbow streamers,” as well as “enjoyable performances,” whatever that means.

“There is absolutely no reason not to take our kids to Pride — it’s a fun day, there are a lot of bubbles, rainbow streamers and enjoyable performances,” Bergman said.

“It’s their right as queer spawn. And as a parent, I might want to take my kids to Pride, because they might be lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer or two-spirit.”

Bergman went on to defend the lewd elements of the Pride parade, saying he’s more worried about children being exposed to “compulsory heterosexuality” than a gay man shaking his bare behind in front of them.

“First of all, nobody likes nakedness more than children,” Bergman said.

“On the list of things that I don’t want my children ever to be exposed to are: Compulsory heterosexuality, demonstrations of sexism, demonstrations of racism, demonstrations of ablism, violence. These are all way higher on the list than some homosexual’s tuchus.”

However, some on social media expressed outrage over the overt sexualization and far-left brainwashing brought by Pride events.

Harvard pulls pro-gun Parkland survivor’s acceptance over years-old racial slurs

CAP

Conservative pundit Kyle Kashuv will not join fellow Parkland shooting survivor and gun control advocate David Hogg at Harvard, saying that school pulled his acceptance over racial slurs he made in private messages when he was 16.

Having been set to attend Harvard in 2020 after taking a year off school, Kashuv announced in a series of tweets on Monday that the Ivy League institute had decided to rescind his acceptance “over texts and comments made nearly two years ago, months prior to the shooting.”

Kashuv was one of the students at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, Florida, during the February 2018 attack that left 17 students and staff killed and another 17 injured. While Hogg and several other seniors became celebrity gun control activists, Kashuv made public his pro-gun views, including the right to arm school staff.

CAP

He worked for the high-school outreach wing of the pro-Trump organization Turning Point USA, and even met with the president himself. In May, however, someone dug up a private chat from 2016 in which Kashuv repeatedly used a racial slur referring to African-American.

Although he was 16 at the time and the comments were made in private, Kashuv took responsibility in a public apology on Twitter, saying his remarks had been “idiotic,” “callous and inflammatory.”

CAP

Harvard seemingly agreed with his assessment, but didn’t feel like his apology was quite enough. After reviewing the apology letter, the school replied saying he would no longer be welcome to attend, citing concerns over his “maturity and moral character.”

Despite seeking guidance from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and requesting a face to face meeting regarding the incident, Harvard had already made its decision. In his tweets, Kashuv pointed out the irony of university’s apparent message that in contemporary society, certain “mistakes brand you as irredeemable,” especially considering the school’s own “checkered past.”

CAP

“If Harvard is suggesting that growth isn’t possible and that our past defines our future, then Harvard is an inherently racist institution. But I don’t believe that,” Kashuv added.

Harvard has yet to issue any public response to his comments.
Despite the blow, Kashuv has gotten some support from conservative media personality Ben Shapiro, who argued that uncovering things people said when they were teenagers and holding it against them creates an “insane and cruel”standard, and sets a dangerous precedent.

One has to wonder what implications the decision will have for future applicants– or even those already attending the prestigious institution. Around the same time Kashuv’s comments were unearthed in May, the Harvard Lampoon ran an image of Holocaust victim Anne Frank in a bikini which was widely panned as anti-Semitic and even condemned by the New England regional director of the Anti-Defamation League.

It seems that, at least for the time being, their apology was enough.

Tech Giants Are Driving Us Into A Technocratic Dystopian Future Of Censorship And Unpersoning

Published on Jun 16, 2019

We Are Heading Straight Into A Technocratic Dystopian Future. With the censorship of Project Veritas and my video on censorship itself we can truly see that ‘the fire truck is on fire.’ If any of us try to prove censorship and that political motivations drive the tech giants they shut us down. This is just another example of the encroaching nightmare dystopia. A future run by unelected billionaires who are accountable to no one and refuse to stop.

While these tech giants have destroyed local journalism and slowly monopolized public discourse many far left activists have defended them as private businesses. Now Facebook seeks to launch a new currency called ‘Libra’ and has the backing of Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal.
Tech giants will now begin slowly monopolizing the economy, removing your access to trade and speech. Its possible that Libra fails but we have already seen Mastercard and Chase bank ‘debank’ conservatives and political figures.
Under the guise of social justice these companies have begun removing people they view to be ‘unhealthy’ for the conversation. But who gives them this right? How long until these companies ban you from finance and the economy for wrongthink?

National Guard Warns Soldiers Not To Wear Uniforms In Public After Soldiers Accosted By Leftists At Buffalo Wild Wings

By Patrick Howley

Left-wing anti-Keystone pipeline protesters accosted a group of National Guard soldiers at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Rapid City, South Dakota, the National Guard confirms to Big League Politics.

In response, the National Guard has warned its service members not to wear their uniforms in public while they are off duty, as the anti-pipeline protests intensify.

“I can confirm that the incident took place, and that there were National Guard soldiers that were involved,” National Guard lieutenant colonel Anthony Deiss confirms to Big League Politics. More than 80 people protested outside the Rapid City courthouse as the battle over the Keystone pipeline heads to court. The ACLU’s lawsuit against South Dakota governor Kristi Noem over a law seeking criminal penalties for “riot boosting” made its way to court Thursday.

“We’ve made National Guard soldiers and service members aware of the incident and what had happened and to maintain awareness when out in public in uniform, and if they see something out of the ordinary or suspicious to report that through the chain of command,” Deiss stated.

“While off duty is what we recommended,” Deiss said, confirming that the National Guard recommended that its soldiers not wear their uniforms in public while off duty.

“When they are off-duty, we make recommendations on what they should wear, but most service members when they’re off duty usually wear civilian clothes anyway,” Deiss said.

Shad Olson, South Dakota broadcaster and activist, first learned about the incident and wrote the following:

“It was an ugly lunchtime scene at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Rapid City Wednesday as a group of Army National Guard soldiers were accosted, insulted and attacked by members of a large group of militant leftist oil pipeline protesters who have traveled to Rapid City to disrupt federal court proceedings regarding a new law that provides enhanced penalties for pipeline protesting on private property.

Witnesses say that police were called and that the restaurant manager was attempting to forcibly remove members of that protest group after their screaming chants of “Babykiller, Babykiller,” and profanity against the soldiers disrupted an otherwise peaceful meal for customers. As she was leaving, one woman set off a smoke device that triggered fire alarms and caused an evacuation of the restaurant.

Army National Guard soldiers stationed at Camp Rapid in Rapid City have now been instructed to avoid wearing their uniforms out and about in public until the conclusion of the federal court proceeding that has drawn more than a thousand leftist protesters to the Black Hills of South Dakota.”
