FBI labels Proud Boys an ‘extremist group’

Most commonly seen scrapping in the streets with Antifa, the Proud Boys have now been designated as an “extremist group with ties to white nationalism” by the FBI.

According to a document from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office in Washington state, the FBI has labeled the Proud Boys an extremist group, and “warned local law enforcement agencies that the Proud Boys are actively recruiting in the Pacific northwest.”

“Proud Boys members have contributed to the recent escalation of violence at political rallies held on college campuses, and in cities like Charlottesville, Virginia, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington,” the report continued.

The report stemmed not from an investigation into the Proud Boys themselves, but from the association between a female Clark County deputy and the group, which was found to violate sheriff’s office policy. Antifa groups had circulated a picture of the deputy in a Proud Boys sweater, and threatened to reveal her personal details.

The FBI told The Guardian that it would not “directly address the designation,” adding that it “regularly assesses intelligence regarding possible threats” from a multitude of groups. Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes told the Gateway Pundit that he thinks “it’s just local cops trying to cover their asses if she sues” for being unfairly disciplined.

A fraternal organization, the Proud Boys was founded in 2016 by McInnes. Soon after, its uniform of a black and yellow Fred Perry polo shirt began showing up at protests and rallies across the country, including the deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, last August.

McInnes describes the Proud Boys as a ‘Western chauvinist’ group, made up of men who are unapologetically right-wing and opposed to feminism, political correctness and white guilt. McInnes has distanced himself from the alt-right as a movement, but the Southern Poverty Law Center still considers the organization a ‘hate group.’

Facebook and Instagram have banned accounts associated with the Proud Boys, and both Amazon and PayPal have cut ties with the group too.

The Proud Boys made headlines in October when some of its members brawled with Antifa militants outside a New York Republican event. Both sides pummeled each other after three Antifa members jumped a Proud Boy on his way out of the event. The NYPD arrested three people.

Earlier on this summer, video footage of a Proud Boy knocking out a baton-wielding Antifa protester at a riot in Portland, Oregon, went viral. The incident was one of many confrontations that have occurred between the right and left in Portland in recent months.

A loose collective that counts anti-Trump #resistance types and militant anarchists and communists among its members, Antifa’s street protests have been classed by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security as “domestic terrorist violence.”

Twitter CEO Dorsey unleashes ‘hate speech’ storm with sign denouncing India’s caste system

Twitter CEO Dorsey unleashes ‘hate speech’ storm with sign denouncing India’s caste system

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is facing accusations of inciting hatred and violence in India, and has upset both activists and Hindu nationalists, by holding a sign denouncing the Hindu caste system.

Dorsey posed for a picture with six women in India brandishing a poster that read “Smash Brahminical patriarchy” during a visit last week to discuss the role of Twitter in the country.

Capture

After the photo was posted on the social media platform on Sunday evening, Dorsey was quickly accused of inciting hatred and violence against Hindu nationalists and India’s Brahmins, the highest group who sit atop the rigid caste hierarchy.

A policy officer for Twitter later apologised to offended users, telling them neither Twitter nor Dorsey endorsed the message that the caste system and male dominance should be dismantled, which in turn angered Indian activists who oppose the patriarchal system.

The legal director of Twitter Vijaya Gadde, who was also at the off-the-record meeting, apologised to users explaining that they were gifted the poster and the photo was intended to be “private.” Gadde acknowledged they should have “been more thoughtful”.

The response was less than satisfactory for activists who questioned why Twitter wouldn’t endorse a message to denounce an oppressive system. The uploaders of the photo also accused Dorsey and Gadde of “throwing us under the bus to save your skin”, claiming the image was not, in fact, “private” but was captured by a Twitter rep and mailed to the group to share.

TOP DEM SEN. MARK WARNER: GOOGLE MUST DO MORE TO CENSOR YOUTUBE

Top Dem Sen. Mark Warner: Google Must Do More to Censor YouTube

Warner is the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee and his threats hold a lot of sway

Information Liberation – NOVEMBER 19, 2018

Democrat Senator Mark Warner on CNBC Friday lambasted Google for not doing enough to censor YouTube, which he said is a hotbed for “radicalization,” but offered praise to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey for being “aggressive in moving to work with us.”

Warner is the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee and his threats hold a lot of sway.

From the Free Beacon:

Sen. Mark Warner (D., Va.) on Friday criticized tech companies for providing a platform for radicalization and foreign interference.

The social media network Facebook has come under scrutiny recently for how, according to multiple reports, it failed to address Russian interference in the 2016 election. Asked about whether Facebook’s issues overshadowed other tech companies’, Warner said the worst problems stem from Google and its subsidiary YouTube.

“The real disappointing company, as well, has been Google,” he said. “Google didn’t even send a senior leadership person to our committee.”

“As more and more evidence comes out that the real place where fake accounts are manipulating, where a lot of the foreign activity–not just Russian, but Chinese, Iranian and others–have headed is on the YouTube platform, where more radicalization goes on than, frankly, on Facebook,” he added.

Though he wouldn’t let Twitter off the hook, Warner said he gives Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey “credit” because “he’s in recent months been more aggressive in moving to work with us on policy solutions.”

As I reported earlier this month, just days before the midterms Jack Dorsey banned some 10,000 accounts at the request of the partisan Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

report in The New York Times last week said that Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) — whose daughter Alison works at Facebook — told Warner to “back off” of Facebook:

Back off, [Schumer] told Mr. Warner, according to a Facebook employee briefed on Mr. Schumer’s intervention. Mr. Warner should be looking for ways to work with Facebook, Mr. Schumer advised, not harm it. Facebook lobbyists were kept abreast of Mr. Schumer’s efforts to protect the company, according to the employee.

Earlier this year, Democrat Chris Murphy reacted to Big Tech’s coordinated banning of Infowars by demanding more censorship across the board, insisting “the survival of our democracy depends on it.”

Capture

“Infowars is the tip of a giant iceberg of hate and lies that uses sites like Facebook and YouTube to tear our nation apart,” Murphy wrote August 6 on Twitter. “These companies must do more than take down one website. The survival of our democracy depends on it.”

Democrat Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, while claiming to support free speech, also cheered the banning of Infowars and made up fake news that Alex Jones was “inciting violence,” despite every site saying they banned him for his speech.

Capture

The Democrats’ plan for internet censorship, which was written by Warner, leaked in late July and it showed they wanted to effectively eliminate all anonymity on the internet.

Warner and other Democrats appear to have effectively pressured Facebook and other Big Tech companies to censor right-wing voices by threatening to regulate them into the ground. Meanwhile, Republicans did nothing to stop their blatant election interference — which may have lost them the House as a result — and despite threatening action on Twitter President Trump has failed to issue any executive orders to secure free speech online.

GERMAN POLICE ‘COVER UP HOW A SYRIAN RAPED A DISABLED WOMAN SEVERAL TIMES’

German police ‘cover up how a Syrian raped a disabled woman several times’

The incident that happened in the town of Chemnitz, was classified by the police as ‘not press-free’, after both German news sites asked for more information

Voice Of Europe – NOVEMBER 19, 2018

According to two German news sources, police have ‘covered up’ a Syrian asylum seeker’s rape of a disabled woman. At least one of them is a reliable source and known for quality journalism.

According to Philosophia Perennis and reliable news outlet Junge Freiheit a Syrian asylum seeker repeatedly raped a woman after being attacked in a hallway.

The incident that happened in the town of Chemnitz, was classified by the police as ‘not press-free’, after both German news sites asked for more information.

After combined researched both media sources allege that a Syrian asylum seeker raped a severely, visually impaired woman.

Andrzej Rydzik, the deputy spokesman of the police department of Chemnitz confirmed investigations into the alleged rape to Junge Freiheit.

Among their questions, the newspaper wanted the alleged victims identity confirmed, whether the alleged perpetrator is still on the run and why there was no press release from the police?

“For tactical reasons, and above all for reasons of victim protection,” Andrzey Rydzik told the newspaper, “there was no publication of information in any of our media”.

White House To Pull Acosta’s Pass Again After Temporary Court Order Expires

By Tyler Durden

The White House will pull CNN correspondent Jim Acosta‘s press credentials again after a 14-day temporary court-order expires, according to the network, which has asked for an emergency hearing to defend Acosta’s access.

“Friday’s court ruling means that a temporary restraining order is in effect for 14 days. But [White House] officials sent Acosta a letter stating that his press pass is set to be suspended again once the restraining order expires,” reports CNN’s Brian Stelter.

CNN said in a statement that rescinding Acosta’s press pass again would threaten “all journalists and news organizations.”

“The White House is continuing to violate the First and 5th Amendments of the Constitution,” the network said, adding: “These actions threaten all journalists and news organizations. Jim Acosta and CNN will continue to report the news about the White House and the President.”

Acosta’s press credentials were pulled after a heated exchange with President Trump in which the CNN Senior White House correspondent refused to relinquish the microphone – batting a White House intern’s arm away as she attempted to take it from him.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly last Friday granted CNN’s request to restore Acosta’s hard press pass through a 14-day temporary injunction that expires on Nov. 30.

The ruling was limited, however, with Kelly stating that only Acosta’s Fifth Amendment rights to due process were violated. The judge, who was appointed by Trump, did not issue a ruling on whether the correspondent’s First Amendment rights were violated.

“I want to emphasize the very limited nature of this ruling,” Kelly said Friday. –The Hill

Following the decision, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that officials would “temporarily” reinstate Acosta’s hard pass, telegraphing that it would likely be pulled again once the ruling expired.

“Today, the court made clear that there is no absolute First Amendment right to access the White House,” Sanders said. “In response to the court, we will temporarily reinstate the reporter’s hard pass. We will also further develop rules and processes to ensure fair and orderly press conferences in the future.”

In a Sunday interview with Fox News‘s Chris Wallace, President Trump had a few ideas of his own on Acosta, including throwing him out.

“I think one of the things we’ll do is maybe turn the camera off that faces them because then they don’t have any air time, although I’ll probably be sued for that and maybe, you know, win or lose it, who knows,” said Trump. “I mean, with this stuff you never know what’s going to happen.”

Calling Acosta “unbelievably rude to [White House press secretary] Sarah Huckabee, who’s a wonderful woman,” Trump said his administration is currently formulating “rules and regulations” for White House reporters. “And if he misbehaves, we’ll throw him out or we’ll stop the news conference,” the president added. –Fox News

UK Subway Employee Ambushed by Gang Over ‘Out of Order’ Toilet

By Dan Lyman

A 21-year-old Subway employee was ambushed and brutally beaten by a teen gang in the UK after he told them the restroom was out of order, according to reports.

Sandwich artist Ben Pearson says four teens, at least one of whom he identified as Somalian, entered his restaurant in Milton Keynes, outside London, and sat down without purchasing anything, eventually asking to use the bathroom.

Pearson says he informed them the toilet was out of order, but directed them to a nearby public restroom.

Shortly after, Pearson says he was leaving his workplace when he was ambushed by the teens, who beat him unconscious and possibly slashed his face with a blade.

“I tried to be helpful and told them there were public toilets nearby. But as I left the shop at the end of my shift they set upon me,” Pearson told local media.

“When I came round they were still kicking me. I thought they’d never stop. It seemed to go on forever and there was nothing I could do.”

Police are still seeking suspects in the attack.

The Milton Keynes Citizen describes Pearson’s attackers as being no more than 16-years-old.

“One of the two boys was Somalian and wore a navy Puma track suit and Timberland boots,” reports the Citizen. “The other was mixed race and wore a black band around his head.”

Pearson sustained heavy damage to his face and is still suffering from blurred eyesight. Doctors say recovery will take at least a month, and he is currently unable to work.

Facebook produces fake news to attack its opponents

By

The social media giant has been producing a lot of its own fake news lately. After harassing conservative websites with “hate speech” rules and “fake news” rules, Facebook has been producing fake news of its own.

After the Cambridge Analytica scandal, Facebook said it was going to do better in regards to user privacy and fake news.

Capture

What they’ve don’t instead is ban conservative accounts and use a very loose definition of “hate speech” to justify it. The most public example was Alex Jones being banned permanently from Facebook.

With millions of followers, it was very noticeable when his account was gone. George Soros still has multiple pages on Facebook, where his organizations peddle false conspiracy theories about migration, Donald Trump and Fox News.

But Facebook has no problem with that. We all know that Alex Jones is eccentric and a conspiracy theorist, but you can not deny he has broken some of the biggest scoops of the century.

Such as Hillary Clinton’s failing health. Nonetheless to Facebook, they banned him permanently for violating “hate speech” rules.

They have still yet to give a substantive explanation for how “hate speech” is defined to them. It seems to Facebook and other leftist social media giants, that “hate speech” is just anything that doesn’t agree with their worldview.

Video: Rand Paul Warns Of Censorship Of Conservatives By Big Tech

Facebook needs to ‘convince conservatives they’re not the enemy’

Steve Watson | Infowars.com – NOVEMBER 16, 2018

In an interview with CNN, of all places, Senator Rand Paul warned that there is a concerted effort by big tech, in particular Facebook, to censor conservative viewpoints, and it will lead to their downfall.

“I think if it gets so bad that they don’t allow conservative viewpoints on Facebook, I think you will get to a point where people will leave in droves,” Paul told CNN Thursday.

“So Facebook, if they want to keep making money, are going to have to convince conservatives that they’re not the enemy.” Paul urged.

Paul noted that while it is not in the nature of conservatives to push for regulation of private companies, big tech has justifiably become an exception to that rule.

“It’s a privately owned company,” Paul said, adding “Most times, conservatives, we don’t want to over-regulate private businesses.

“But they do have sort of a monopoly on this sort of social exchange in speech,” he added.

“[W]hat I’ve been saying for a while is that we need to look at the barriers to entry that government might be creating,” Paul continued.

“Not the government starting other companies but the government getting out … to allow competition with Facebook.” the Senator added.

Paul’s comments come in the wake of revelations that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer ordered the ranking Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, Sen. Mark Warner, to back off of investigating Facebook with regarding to Russian interference in US elections.

A Senate source further commented that Schumer is concerned that Facebook may “bow to pressure from the right wing, who opposed Facebook’s purging of fake accounts and bots.”

Schumer reportedly told Warner that he should cooperate with Facebook rather than scrutinize its activity.
