Portland State University students rallied at a Thursday board meeting, calling for campus police officers to be disarmed.

“Police with guns are ticking time bomb,” said Olivia Pace, one of the students who spoke in front of the Portland State University Board of Trustees.
Students in favor of disarming campus police held signs and spoke at the board meeting. They said they believe it has taken far too long for university leadership to take action…
At Thursday’s board meeting, multiple students spoke directly to trustees, voicing their frustration with the lack of decision making on the issue.
“We feel like the longer the university pushes this off to more and more committees and more and more third parties, the issue will kind of just dissolve,” said Pace.
Earlier this year a report, commissioned by the university, found that more than half of students and faculty supported disarming campus officers. That same report also recommended keeping campus police armed.
Really? And what happens if a criminal with a gun comes onto the campus. Will the Campus police tell them to drop the weapon or they will tell the dean? Or their mommies?
Last year PSU officers shot and killed Jason Washington – who was a legal gun carrier that happened to drop his weapon as he was trying to break up a fight. The Campus Cops testified:
When Washington got up, the officers say he was holding the gun in his hand.
“I’m screaming, like, begging really – for this guy to drop his gun,” Dewey told the grand jury.
Both officers said they told Washington to drop the gun. Then they said he pointed it in their direction.
“In my mind, I’m like thinkin’ I’m gonna be shot right there, and I fire a couple rounds,” said McKenzie. “I see him fall to the ground. Uh, when I see that, I saw firing. I, my next thought process is if he’s wounded, he can shoot at us again at the last know location we were at.”
That testimony was confirmed by a Portland Police forensic technician who was called in to examine the body camera video of the shooting, slowing it down and enhancing the video to see whether Washington pointed his gun at police.

The technician, Portland Police Bureau officer Anthony Eugenio, showed the grand jury that Washington’s right arm was extended in front of his body with a black object in his hand, consistent with a firearm.
When asked if he believed that Washington pointed the gun towards the officers, he said that is “correct.”
A grand jury cleared the two Campus police and based on the testimony it seems that by using their service revolvers the two campus police saved lives (including their own)
Even so, the story of Jason Washington was a tragedy. But the students think the campus police officers are “dangerous” because they carry guns—and they are dangerous to students who point a gun at them.
How many of these students worry about a mass shooter, armed robber, a rapist with a gun, or any other kind of gun-wielding criminal gets onto the Campus? How many of them would be quickly shot dead if their campus police were unarmed? Who would stop a shooter? They are valid questions, ones that the “social justice warrior” crowd ignores.

Ocasio-Cortez is pushing a talking point that migrants who are overwhelming the border are being housed in concentration camps.
”The United States is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are – they are concentration camps – and if that doesn’t bother you,” Ocasio- Cortez said.
“I don’t use those words lightly. I don’t use those words to just throw bombs,” she added. “I use the word because that’s what an administration that creates concentration camps is. A presidency that creates concentration camps is fascist and it’s very difficult to say that.”
This has offended pro-Jewish groups who feel that her comparison trivializes the tragic events of the Holocaust.
“The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum unequivocally rejects efforts to create analogies between the Holocaust and other events, whether historical or contemporary,” the US Holocaust Memorial Museum said in a statement released on Monday.
“That position has repeatedly and unambiguously been made clear in the Museum’s official statement on the matter – a statement that is reiterated and reaffirmed now,” it continued.
The incendiary remarks from Ocasio-Cortez and her radical socialist ilk in the Democratic Party are only dividing the country further and making the U.S. less safe, a glimpse into what the future of America will be unless the demographic shift is swiftly reversed.

Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe tweeted a screenshot of the account being suspended right as Project Veritas tried to share a video exposing a Google executive revealing the tech giant’s plan to affect the outcome of the 2020 elections and “prevent” the next “Trump situation.”
Of course, the Reddit censorship proves the point O’Keefe was making about Big Tech censorship.
In the shocking video, a Google executive responsible for implementation of its Artificial Intelligence systems says Google has been working diligently to “prevent” the results of the 2016 election from repeating in 2020.
“We all got screwed over in 2016, again it wasn’t just us, it was, the people got screwed over, the news media got screwed over, like, everybody got screwed over so we’re rapidly been like, what happened there and how do we prevent it from happening again,” she said on video.
“We’re also training our algorithms, like, if 2016 happened again, would we have, would the outcome be different?”

A Google insider also released internal documents revealing how the tech giant makes editorial decisions regarding content that appears in its search results, and the Google promotes content from corporate media like CNN over the likes of independent journalists like Tim Pool, even if a user’s viewing preferences would suggest an interest in Pool instead of CNN.
Those policies have created a “horrifying” situation at the border, Biden wrote, and have taken “a wrecking ball” to US relations in Latin America.

Throughout President Obama’s two terms, more people were deported than under any previous administration, according to government data, earning him the unfortunate title of ‘Deporter in Chief.’ During Obama’s first four years in office, nearly 400,000 people were deported per year, topping out in 2012 at over 409,000.
Despite Trump’s reputation as a superhawk on the border, his presidency has seen fewer deportations per year than his predecessor, with around 250,000 in 2017 and 2018, and just over 280,000 so far this year.
Critics point out that the separation of migrant children from their families at the border has become more common since Trump took office, but that policy, too, is a carryover from the Obama years. A photo of caged migrant children went viral last year and prompted fierce criticism of President Trump’s inhumane border policies – yet the photo dates to 2014, smack in the middle of Obama’s second term.
Some of the very cages Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently compared to “concentration camps” were, indeed, constructed under President Obama’s purview. The holding facility in McAllen, Texas, the largest in the country and a creation of the Obama administration, has become emblematic of the problems plaguing migrant detention centers. With ill-equipped health facilities and overcrowded cells, the McAllen center was forced to temporarily close its doors earlier this year amid a deadly viral outbreak.
On ‘the Wall’, Biden will also struggle to set himself apart from the president. While the former VP condemns President Trump’s wall proposal as “divorced from reality,” Biden was a vocal supporter of the Secure Fence Act, a project that spent $1 billion building a 700-mile barrier along the border with Mexico.
A recently surfaced video from 2006 captures Biden proudly telling an audience “I voted for a fence,” as he warns of dangerous drug traffickers crossing the border. Later in the clip Biden highlights his ‘tough on crime’ record, bragging “I’m the guy who wrote the crime bill, I’m the guy who wrote the national drug trafficking bill, I’m the guy who wrote the law that set up a drug czar.”

Breitbart News exclusively confirmed that Mexican Federal Police are on alert, preparing to encounter or arrest Ahamed Ghanim Mohamed Al Juburi from Iraq, and Ibrahim Mohamed and Mohamed Eissa from Egypt. The three men are believed to have entered through Panama in May, crossed through Costa Rica on June 9, and could be headed to Mexico, a leaked internal security memo revealed. The documents make reference to BITMAP, the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations’ Biometric Identification Transnational Migration Alert Program, a collection of databases on “special interest aliens, violent criminals, fugitives and confirmed or suspected terrorists encountered within illicit pathways.”

Just weeks ago, Project Veritas busted Pinterest for leftist bias when an employee came forward to detail how the company censors right-wing content. The employee was subsequently fired from the social media company.
But that did not dissuade the Google whistleblowers from working with Project Veritas, and it appears that the group is picking up steam on the front of exposing left-wing censorship aimed at Trump and his supporters.
Project Veritas blew the lid off Google’s plan to “prevent” an election like Trump’s again, when it released undercover footage of Jen Gennai, the company’s Head of Responsible Innovation, openly discussing Google’s censorship efforts.

Investigative journalist James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas has released hidden camera videos showing a Google executive explaining how preventing Trump and similar leaders is at the top of the monolithic corporation’s list of priorities.
“Elizabeth Warren is saying we should break up Google. And like, I love her but she’s very misguided, like that will not make it better it will make it worse, because all these smaller companies who don’t have the same resources that we do will be charged with preventing the next Trump situation, it’s like a small company cannot do that,” said Jen Gennai, who works as Google’s Head of Responsible Innovation.
Project Veritas notes that Gennai is in charge of the division of Google that is responsible for implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. This includes making sure that political outcomes unfavorable for liberals cannot be reached.
