McDonalds is set to replace more human employees with automated technology after the company announced that it intends to use a new AI program to take drive-thru orders.

The food chain has acquired Mountain View-based voice tech startup Apprente in order to “alleviate pressure on restaurant employees.”

More like alleviate them of their jobs.

The technology can handle “complex, multilingual, multi-accent and multi-item conversational ordering,” allowing for “faster, simpler and more accurate order taking,” according to reports.

“McDonald’s plans to roll out self-service kiosks across all US restaurant locations by 2020 – reducing the need to employ as many human cashiers,” reports Zero Hedge.

How’s that $15 dollars an hour paycheck working out for you now?

Never Forget Images of 9/11: A Visual Remembrance

The whole world experienced the attacks of September 11, 2001, in real time. Videos, photos, and audio captured the horror inflicted by Islamic jihadists and the heroism displayed by ordinary Americans. In our effort to never forget, Breitbart News provides you a visual and audial remembrance of that fateful day when the world changed forever.

From the time of its opening in 1973 to that fatal day in September 2001, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center dominated the skyline of Lower Manhattan’s Financial District, as seen in this photo taken on September 5, 2001, just six days before the Towers fell:

Designed by Detroit architect Minoru Yamasaki, the Twin Towers were famously disparaged by New York Times’ architectural critic Ada Louise Huxtable, who offered this unintentionally prescient prediction in 1966: “The trade center towers could be the start of a new skyscraper age or the biggest tombstones in the world.”

Those words were long forgotten on that bright September morning before death rained down from blue cloudless skies.

Betty Ong, the flight attendant aboard American Airlines Flight 11, was the first person to notify authorities about the Islamic hijackers. The audio of Ong’s call to the American Airlines emergency number was included in this audio/video montage released by the TSA in 2018 to commemorate the 17th anniversary of 9/11:

The following video captured the moment of impact when Islamic hijackers flew American Airlines Flight 11 into the World Trade Center’s North Tower (1 WTC) at 8:46 a.m.

The first images of the burning North Tower quickly flashed across television sets. This video shows the first five minutes of cable news coverage:

Four minutes after the first plane hit the World Trade Center, Christopher Hanley, 35, called 911 from the 106th floor of the North Tower, where he was attending a conference at the restaurant Windows on the World that morning. This is the audio of his 911 call:

The whole world watched in horror as Islamic hijackers flew the second plane, United Airlines Flight 175, into the South Tower of the World Trade Center (2 WTC) at 9:03 a.m.

Democrats and Republicans stood shoulder to shoulder on the steps of the Capitol that evening in a show of national unity. At the end of their remarks, they sang “God Bless America.”

REPORT: Leaked Documents Show How Democrats Will Go After Trump In 2020

The Democratic National Committee opposition research team has begun to set out how Democrats plan to go after President Trump in the 2020 election, according to a new report.

Democrats have collected piles of information laying out the president’s vulnerabilities, Axios reports. “The research includes roughly 7,000 lawsuits, as well an extensive document detailing every time then-candidate Trump told supporters at his 2016 campaign rallies that Mexico would pay for the wall.”

“The DNC research team has mined thousands of lawsuits from nearly 50 states as part of a massive new trove on President Trump that will be weaponized through pols and reporters in key battlegrounds,” Axios writes. Other details from Axios include:

A source familiar said this document will likely find its way to local reporters, groups and Democrats in battleground states as Trump diverts funds from the military to pay for his border wall.
The DNC has examples of what farmers and truckers say they feel about Trump’s tariffs, the way he’s “trashed American wheat,” and how the GOP tax law hurt truckers.
They’ve combed through local news articles and monitored local cable interviews with residents in states like Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Arizona, Colorado, Florida and Texas to find these folks who are being hurt by Trump’s policies.
And they’ve already filed “thousands” of Freedom of Information Act requests to get even more info on the president.

Axios says “using Trump’s specific actions and broken promises is how DNC chairman Tom Perez is advising party officials and surrogates to define him in states he won in 2016 that they think are crucial to their 2020 election efforts.”

Last week, some 20 Democratic operatives and strategists met, including Perez, who said the plan is to “make it about [Trump’s] performance as president, not his bigotry or awfulness,” according to one source in the room, Axios writes. “Prosecute the case that he is bad at his job and it is hurting people in real ways.”

Democrats can point to “so many ways his actual policies have really hurt people or how he’s been ineffective in fulfilling his promises,” said one Democrat familiar with the DNC’s plans to define Trump in 2020.
“Let’s say he goes to Youngstown, Ohio. We have everything he said, what he promised in 2016 to that community — maybe it’s ‘that bridge will be fixed’ — then we’ll show what’s actually happened since.”

Crazed fan upset about the team’s acquisition of wide receiver Antonio Brown

**A 44-year-old New York Giants fan from Rhode Island has been arrested after threatening to “shoot up random people” at the New England Patriots’ Foxboro Stadium.**

The fan, Tobias Gray, made the threat in a Facebook post where he made it clear that New England’s recent signing of WR Antonio Brown was the catalyst for his rage.

“I don’t ever really post too many things so you know this is real since the Patriots signed Antonio Brown I’m going to pull a white boys school shooting at Foxboro you might as well just hand them the ring right now I’m if I ever get my hands on a gun which I don’t have one yet but I’m looking I will go shoot up random people at Foxboro,” the post read.

He was charged in Massachusetts with making terroristic threats and a fugitive of justice complaint.

Gray even wore a New York Giants jersey during his court appearance on Monday where he was also charged with simple and domestic assault after threatening police officers who came to arrest him following the online threat.

Tobias Gray's lawyer told us he was surprised he was arrested after made a Facebook post about the @Patriots signing Antonio Brown. But Foxboro Police tell us those threats were "terroristic" in nature.

Gray, who has an extensive criminal background, allegedly told an arresting officer, “I will give your kid short-term memory loss. You better watch your back.”

The Boston Herald reports Gray’s previous charges include domestic assault, drug possession, conspiracy and violating no-contact orders.

The Wrentham District Court is expected to arraign Gray sometime this week.

VIDEO: Vandal Burns Neighbor’s American Flag in Orlando By Cover of Night

An Orlando patriot’s American flag was torched by a vandal during the night last week.

A Florida man was caught on tape burning a man’s American flag on video last week in Orlando. The homeowner’s CCTV system revealed a man approaching the flag on his porch and lighting it on fire.

It’s unclear why this man, who as of Sunday night remains at large, was motivated to destroy an American flag on a community member’s private property. One neighbor in the community, Jessica Harper, stated that she had no idea why the anonymous suspect would engage in such behavior.

“It was heartbreaking to see that someone was willing to go to those lengths. It looks like somebody was having a good time with some alcohol earlier in the evening, which probably played a part, but still doesn’t justify the action.”

Generally, only the most vicious of leftists will be inclined to engage on hatefully destructive behavior such as American flag-burning. It’s possible the unknown suspect may have Antifa or other terrorist associations.

Antifa has been documented burning American flags en masse at protest events and street battles against right-wing demonstrators.

Antifa-linked demonstrators were seen burning the flag in protest of President Donald Trump’s Fourth of July military parade, expressing their distaste for all things American.

The homeowner who already suffered the loss of his American flag replaced the burned flag with a new one over the weekend. Orlando police are said to be investigating.

In the meantime, Orlando community members are on watch for an unAmerican bandit who possibly intends to strike against the American national symbol once again.

The end is nigh: Scottish cops blasted for panic-inducing ‘preparedness bag’ tweet

Police Scotland are under fire for a worrying tweet advising citizens to prepare a grab bag with emergency supplies for immediate use, sparking wild speculation, meme-making and understandable concern among the masses.

“September is preparedness month. Emergencies can happen at any time and it’s recommended to have a #GrabBag ready containing essential items including medication, copies of important documents, food/water, torch, radio and other personal items,” the police tweeted as part of their ‘30 days 30 ways’ campaign.

The anxiety-inducing advice proposed packing a bag with food, water, and medication, as well as a pen and notepad, phone charger, whistle, and first aid kit. However, a Sunday morning may not have been the best time to urge people to prepare for some undisclosed disaster headed their way, judging by the reactions online, most of which centered around a single theme: “Do they know something we don’t?”

“What emergencies do you envisage? Brexit? War? Civil disturbance? Flood? Pestilence? Nuclear accident? Martial Law?”wrote one user, while another offered a variety of betting odds on what the impending doom might be: “Asteroid 4/1 Tsunami 8/1 Nuclear war 14/1 Alien invasion 22/1 Zombie Apocalypse 33/1 No deal Brexit 1000/1.”

Others adopted a more tongue-in-cheek approach.

One commenter quipped: “Some advice please on #grabbag regarding ‘seasonal clothing’. I have packed some fancy dress for Hallowe’en and then a Santa suit for Christmas. Will that be enough do you think?”

Alien invasion, zombie apocalypse, and calamity in the form a Boris Johnson-led Brexit were all recurring themes as Scots piled on the police for such a needlessly panic-inducing tweet.

Some, however, called for calm (sincerely) and claimed not to see the big fuss while humble-bragging about their multitude of emergency preparedness plans.

The whole kerfuffle reportedly stems from an initiative initially introduced by the US Department of Homeland Security that has been widely picked up by various institutions and public bodies across the UK.

The timing couldn’t be worse, however, as the tweet only added to online speculation that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson might declare a national emergency in order to force through a no-deal Brexit, effectively weaponizing the Civil Contingencies Act of 2004 against his political opponents.

VIKTOR ORBÁN: NATIVE POPULATION DECLINE IS THE “SICKNESS OF EUROPE”

Hungary’s populist Prime Minister Viktor Orbán says the “sickness of Europe” is the continent’s native population decline as he urged for more incentives to encourage citizens to have children.

During a speech at Budapest’s 3rd Demographic Summit, Orbán warned that the biggest problem Europe faced was demographic suicide.

“Why is this the case? It’s most certainly not because of some sickness of Christian civilization – after all, the number of Christians are rising all around the world. This is a sickness of Europe in general,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that the solution was not to import vast numbers of migrants, asserting, “We must never accept population exchange.”

According to Orbán, the remedy should be to ensure that families were financially rewarded for having children, not punished.

“We win only if we can build a system where those who bear children live significantly better than if they hadn’t started a family,” he said.

Orbán emphasized that the west was doomed if the current model of atomization and demographic decline isn’t halted.

“Without families and children, the national community will disappear,” said Orbán, adding, “and if a nation disappears, something irreplaceable will disappear from the world.”

As we previously highlighted, as part an effort to boost the country’s population without having to rely on mass migration, Hungary will hand out €30,600 to married couples who have three or more children.

A married couple receives the €30,600 as a loan from the government upon getting married. The loan then has to be repaid until the couple has three children. At this point, the debt is completely forgiven.

NEW ‘CUCK’ MOVIE VILIFIES CONSERVATIVES AS RADICALIZED, LOSER INCELS

A new movie called ‘Cuck’ centers around a radicalized right-winger who is forced to take a job as a literal cuckold in porn films in what appears to be an attempt to vilify conservatives as resentful, loser incels.

The trailer for the movie features an out of shape millennial – Ronny – who blames his financial woes on minority immigrant groups and a “false sense of diversity” that plagues America.

“Everywhere I go there’s illegals and they’re running the show,” he laments, adding, “You can’t be proud to be white and male anymore, it’s not politically correct.”

The plot then shows Ronny hiring a prostitute before he agrees to play the role of cuckold in porn movies.

The narrative then shifts to Ronny’s apparent radicalization via YouTube videos which ends up with him buying guns and attending far-right rallies.

“Are you ready to take the red pill or are you just another cuck?” asks one of the faux YouTubers.

The promo for the film describes it as a “gripping fly-on-the wall character study and psychosexual thriller tracking an isolated and lonely young man as he is indoctrinated into the online echo chambers of Alt-Right ideology and hate. Touching on several topical nerves, CUCK gives a raw, unforgiving glimpse into a dark world that hides in plain sight.”

The President and CEO of Red Arrows Studios, the company behind the film, is James Baker, who previously worked for Current TV, Al Gore’s TV network. He also worked for MTV the BSkyB network, which is a subsidiary of Comcast.

In anticipation of a bombardment of negative feedback, comments and likes on the YouTube trailer were disabled.

The film appears to play off of mainstream media hysteria about white supremacists and pushes the notion that online ‘hate speech’ needs to be censored to prevent violent radicalization.
