Second Largest Teachers Union Protests For Illegal Immigrants, Calls Trump Racist

American Federation of Teachers Illegal Immigrants

The country’s second largest teacher’s union spent the day celebrating illegal immigration and bashing the Trump administration.

The second largest education union in the United States is the driving force behind a rally to protect illegal immigrants featuring presidential candidate Jay Inslee.

The American Federation of Teachers has been busy live tweeting their protest against so-called family separation at the U.S.-Mexico border, a policy started by President Barack Obama, aimed at separated illegal immigrant children from the individuals, sometimes human traffickers, purporting to be their parents when they are brought into the United States.

Dozens of members and employees of the union gathered, wearing t shirts with the union’s logo, to shout catchy slogans like “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here!” and “Let our babies go!”

The American Federation of Teachers also used its verified Twitter account to accuse President Donald Trump of racism, writing “Mr. President, racism is not patriotism.”

It is not known whether they also consider President Obama to be racist.

At one point, Jay Inslee, the Democrat governor of Washington who is running for president on the platform of “defeating climate change” who is polling at close to zero per cent after he failed to distinguish himself in the first Democrat debate, joined the stage to bash the Trump administration.

“I have come here to speak with pride for a prideful nation,” said Inslee. “Here is what we are proud of, we are proud that educators in America speak out against oppression of children in America.” “We are proud that the state of Washington understands that diversity is a strength and not a weakness.”

Inslee also doubled down on a conspiracy theory popularized by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), claiming that migrant children are not given soap to wash themselves with.

“There is nothing to be proud of,” said Inslee, “for putting a 5-year-old kid in a cage and not giving them soap to clean themselves with.” At this point, for some unknown reason, a member of the crowd began laughing maniacally. Really.

For some reason, the American Federation of Teachers also occasionally posted a tweet in Spanish.

The American Federation of Teachers is a member of the country’s largest union federation, the American Federation of Labor, which recently posted a meme advocating beheading the CEO of Delta Airlines.

(HOOD RAT AT WORK) – Chicago Mayor Blocks ICE from Police Database Before Raids

By Joshua Caplan

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) said Wednesday that the Windy City has made moves to bar Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from accessing its police databases amid reports of potential raids in more than 10 major U.S. cities slated for Sunday.

“They will not team up with ICE to detain any resident. We have also cut off ICE access from any CPD databases and that will remain permanent,” Lightfoot said. “Chicago is and will always be a welcoming city that will never tolerate ICE tearing our families apart.”

Screen Shot 2019-07-12 at 11.30.16 AM

In a statement to the Chicago Tribune, police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the city’s Citizen and Law Enforcement Analysis and Reporting (CLEAR) database will not be available to ICE officials, though several federal government agencies will still have access.

“All other federal agencies still have access to these systems, as sharing this information is crucial to active criminal investigations in which we are partnering with federal agencies along with intelligence sharing functions that are vital to national homeland security functions,” Guglielmi stated.

Appearing Sunday on CBS News, Ken Cuccinelli, Acting U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director said ICE is prepared to remove approximately one million illegal aliens with final orders for deportation. “[ICE agents are] ready to just perform their mission which is to go and find and detain and then deport the approximately one million people who have final removal orders,” he said“They’ve been all the way through the due process and have final removal orders. Who among those will be targeted for this particular effort or not is really just information kept within ICE.”

Sunday’s expected raid will target at least 2,000 illegal residents.

Last month, President Donald Trump called off planned raids to deport roughly 2,000 illegal aliens with final deportation orders after details of the operation were leaked to the Washington Post.

Thomas Homan, the former Director of ICE, suggested Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan was responsible for the leak, which prompted the operation’s delay.

A Harvard/Harris survey shows a majority of Americans back plans to deport illegal aliens if Congress fails to act. More than 8-in-10 Republican voters support the move, while and more than 5-in-10 swing voters agree with it.

Berkeley Administration is Teaching Illegal Aliens How to Fight Back Against ICE

By Jose Nino

Campus Reform reports that the University of California, Berkeley has a system in place to protect students and faculty who are illegal immigrants.

Berkeley’s Undocumented Student Program (USP) helps provide illegal immigrants on campus with educational and legal assistance. The Los Angeles Times details that the UC system vowed to not cooperate with immigration enforcement officials and turn over private records without first receiving court orders.

The USP provides various resources, which includes a webpage, titled  “What to do if ICE comes to your door,” a five-step plan that teaches illegal immigrants how to act when confronting an ICE agent.

The first four parts instruct the reader “DO NOT OPEN DOORS,” “REMAIN SILENT,” “DO NOT SIGN,” and “REPORT THE RAID!” and the last step says “FIGHT BACK!”

The “FIGHT BACK!” section has a fist image and says “get a trustworthy attorney & explore all options to fight your case. If detained, you may be able to get bail — don’t give up hope!”

The USP does not stop with its five-step plan.

The USP also has a “rapid response hotline” that illegal students and faculty can use when dealing with ICE.

Simply by dialing the Alameda County Immigration Legal and Education Partnership-sponsored hotline, Berkley faculty and the student body can warn illegal immigrants in advance about ICE activity on campus.

Carol Christ, the UC Berkeley Chancellor, put the school’s USP in the spotlight through a statement on June 26. The statement solidified the university’s mission to protect illegal immigrants.

Christ said, “Every member of the UC Berkeley community is a valuable contributor to the university, regardless of immigration status.”

The UC Berkeley Chancellor added, “We remain steadfast in welcoming, supporting, and building community with our undocumented students and staff.”

She then concluded by warning illegal immigrants on campus about the prospects of ICE going on university grounds to enforce immigration laws.

She warned, “According to media reports, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) may conduct enforcement activities in the coming weeks. These media reports suggest that ICE is preparing to detain individuals who have missed a court date or have deportation orders.”

This is another case of a subversive leftist institution trying to facilitate the Left’s mass migration agenda.

After all, demographic trends do point to third world migrants being a voting bloc for leftist causes, so it makes sense for leftist institutions to put policies that encourage these kinds of migration patterns.

Europe is already showing what the consequences of mass migration look like, and America First patriots are taking note.

For that reason, BLP reports that immigration is the #1 issue going into the 2020 elections.

WATCH: Matt Gaetz Exposes Democratic Party Leadership for Laughing at Border Crisis

The freshman Congressman repeatedly played a clip showing the hypocrisy of the Democrats.

By Shane Trejo

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) took Congressional Democrats to task over their lies regarding the national emergency at the U.S. southern border, which they have allowed to worsen in order to blame the crisis on President Donald Trump.

Gaetz played a clip on a loop of House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) laughing off the notion of a humanitarian crisis at the border while being asked about it in an interview from January before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday.

Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) issued a point of order suggesting Gaetz repeating the “out of context” clip was inappropriate. She was informed by the parliamentarian that he was not out of order.

“I just think that’s quite something when you’re fed back your own words from your own leadership from earlier this year, you think that’s out of context and inappropriate and not allowed,” Gaetz said referring to the clip.

“Again, we didn’t raise the issue. It was the gentlelady from Texas that said these allegations from Republicans that we were in denial, they’re offensive, we’ve always known of the crisis, and the Democratic whip laughed,” Gaetz continued.

Clyburn was not the only Congressional Democratic leader who denied the reality of the crisis at the U.S. southern border. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) did so as well.

“Most presidents have used Oval Office addresses for noble purposes,” Schumer said in January. “This president just used the backdrop of the Oval Office to manufacture a crisis, stoke fear, and divert attention from the turmoil in his administration.”

Sen. Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren (D-MA) denied the order crisis as well while it was unfolding, only to virtue-signal and blame Trump when it became politically convenient for her to do so.

Gaetz made note that the Trump administration has been sounding the alarm bells the entire time.

“You know who doesn’t think it’s funny? The Trump administration, because [Acting United States Secretary of Homeland Security] Secretary [Kevin] McAleenan has been ringing the warning bell for months about the crisis. He begged you all to take action more quickly,” Gaetz said.

“It should be very clear from these numbers that we ‘re facing alarming trends and a rising volume of people illegally crossing our southwest border, or arriving at our ports of entry without documents,” McAleenan said back in March. “The system is well beyond capacity and remains at the breaking point.”

Democrats have ignored the warnings from the Trump administration, instead choosing to play politics with the issue of border security with U.S. communities and migrant children suffering mightily as a result.

“One of the reasons why so many young people, so many vulnerable people are in tragic conditions is because we didn’t act when the administration wanted us to provide funding that was absolutely necessary to care for people,” Gaetz explained.

“It wasn’t the Republicans that were in denial. It was all of you, and it was in your own words from your own leadership. Be offended with the Democratic whip, not the House Republicans,” Gaetz concluded.

The smack down can be seen in its full context here:

AOC Declares WAR! Says Pelosi Targeting Women Of Color

AOC Declares WAR! Says Pelosi Targeting Women Of Color

By Jeff Dunetz

After being disciplined by Speaker Pelosi for fighting internal Democratic Party battles via Twitter, in front of the public, freshman member of Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) complained that Pelosi was specifically targeting women of color for her criticism.

When the House voted on the emergency border funding bill, AOC and three other freshmen members of Congress (Ilhan Omar D-MN, Rashida Tlaib D-MI, and  Ayanna Pressley  D-MA) very publicly voted no. In an interview with the NY Times over the weekend, Pelosi tried to reign in the four junior members of her caucus with, “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world, but they didn’t have any following. They’re four people, and that’s how many votes they got.”‘

She doubled down during a meeting of the entire House Democratic caucus on Wednesday. Without naming the offenders, Pelosi was reported as saying“So, again, you got a complaint? You come and talk to me about it. But do not tweet about our members and expect us to think that that is just OK.”

After the caucus meeting, Pelosi on Wednesday Ocasio-Cortez spoke to the Washington Post expressing her belief that the Speaker’s admonishment wasn’t about protecting the caucus moderates:

“When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm’s distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood,

“But the persistent singling out . . . it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful . . . the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color.”

Now that’s ironic.  Pelosi doesn’t seem to be a racist, but she loves using the race card against Republicans.  For example, commenting on the issue a census citizenship question on Monday Pelosi made a ridiculous charge, “This is about keeping — you know … his hat — Make America White Again. They want to make sure that people, certain people, are counted. It’s really disgraceful, and it’s not what our founders had in mind.”

It’s nice to see Pelosi get hit with the race card since she uses it indiscriminately herself.  The real good news is that this latest exchange took the feud in the Democratic Party and made it personal. The more the Democrats fight, and the nastier it gets, the better the GOP will do in 2020. So besides being entertaining, in the end, this Democratic Party feud will be good for America.

Kids in cages: House Dems scrub tweet with photo of Obama-era detention center used to attack Trump

Screen Shot 2019-07-11 at 3.30.06 PM

House Democrats have erased a tweet promoting a hearing on the effects of President Trump’s border policies on children after finding out they used a photo depicting a migrant detention center under President Obama’s watch.

The tweet was posted in anticipation of a hearing scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, dubbed ‘Kids in Cages: Inhumane Treatment at the Border’, and included a dramatic photo backdrop displaying the dismal conditions at US migrant detention facilities – but it was soon deleted after conservative critics pointed out the origins of the image.

Screen Shot 2019-07-11 at 3.32.25 PM

“Last week, members of our committee visited a detention center at the southern border and discovered grotesque treatment of children,” reads the now-deleted tweet, posted on Tuesday. “This week, we are examining the inhumane treatment of the children in these detention centers.”

The congressional Democrats then had another go at it, but their alternative photo choice, much to the lawmakers’ immediate embarrassment, was also taken while President Obama was still in office. The second tweet was deleted in record time and replaced with nothing, as apparently the many thousands of up-to-date photos of the detention centers fail to convey the same sense of horror as the Obama-era images. Or perhaps a third photo was simply too much effort.

Screen Shot 2019-07-11 at 3.33.59 PM

Opponents of the Trump administration have previously used the same photo to attack the president’s border policies, to such an extent that the Associated Press was forced to publish a story clarifying that the image in question was captured in 2014, smack in the middle of Obama’s second term. The AP, not exactly a pro-Trump media arm, kindly requested critics to stop attributing the images to Donald Trump.

While the Oversight Committee’s Wednesday hearing featured plenty of cogent criticisms of President Trump’s approach to the border, it seems that for many Democrats, “inhumane” policies aren’t so objectionable as long as the right person is sitting in the chair.

Twitter goes down amid Trump’s social media summit

Screen Shot 2019-07-11 at 3.18.04 PM

US President Donald Trump’s favorite social media platform has stopped working even as he was hosting a White House meeting about deplatforming and other forms of online censorship. The cause of the outage is unknown.

“Sorry, something went wrong” was the message that greeted Twitter users starting at 1:30 pm Eastern time in the US, according to the monitoring website DownDetector.

The outage appears to be global, with reports coming from all corners of the world and not just the US. Downdetector.com showed that there are nearly 50,000 incidents of people reporting issues.

Screen Shot 2019-07-11 at 3.20.04 PM

As the breakdown occurred, President Trump was hosting a number of social media creators – rather than company officials, to the consternation of mainstream media outlets – to “engage directly with these digital leaders in a discussion on the power of social media,” according to White House spokesman Judd Deere.

Trump has been a prolific Twitter user, opting to keep posting from his personal account rather than the official @POTUS handle created under his predecessor Barack Obama. This has led to lawsuits from activists that Trump blocked from access to his tweets, and federal judges ruling that the platform is a designated public forum. The platform has also rewritten some of its rules with Trump in mind.

Twitter is usually where most social media users go to react when outages strike other platforms – such as the May incident that left over 2 billion Facebook users in the dark for 14 hours. Its last major breakdown was in April 2018, when the platform stopped operating for several hours on a Friday afternoon.

Book: Paul Ryan Opens Up About Contempt for Trump Couldn’t Stand 2 More Years with POTUS… Retirement Was ‘Escape Hatch’! …Fox Board Member White Knights for ‘Horse Face’ Stormy!

An upcoming book reveals former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) has returned to attacking President Donald Trump’s character, taking particular offense to his dismissive nickname for pornographic actress Stormy Daniels.

Politico Magazine’s Tim Alberta writes in American Carnage: On the Front Lines of the Republican Civil War and the Rise of President Trump that Ryan “Now out of office and trading in his power suits for a blue vest” is once again criticizing the president and saw retirement as the ‘escape hatch,’” according to an excerpt obtained by the Washington Post.

“We’ve gotten so numbed by it all,” Ryan said. “Not in government, but where we live our lives, we have a responsibility to try and rebuild. Don’t call a woman a ‘horse face.’ Don’t cheat on your wife. Don’t cheat on anything. Be a good person. Set a good example.”

President Trump ridiculed Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, in October 2018 after a federal judge dismissed her defamation lawsuit against him, tweeting: “Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas.” In January 2018, a Wall Street Journal report alleged that Daniels, prior to the 2016 presidential election, was paid $130,000 to sign a nondisclosure agreement regarding an affair with the president in 2006.

The book details how Ryan was frustrated with the president’s approach to governing.

“I told myself I gotta have a relationship with this guy to help him get his mind right,” the former speaker recounted. “Because, I’m telling you, he didn’t know anything about government… I wanted to scold him all the time.”

“Those of us around him really helped to stop him from making bad decisions. All the time,” he continued. “We helped him make much better decisions, which were contrary to kind of what his knee-jerk reaction was. Now I think he’s making some of these knee-jerk reactions.”

President Trump, according to the book, is largely dismissive of Ryan’s attacks, often referring to him as a “fucking Boy Scout.”

Ryan retired from the House in January after serving three years as the chamber’s speaker. Under his watch, Republicans lost a House majority in the 2018 midterm election. Since leaving Congress, he joined Fox Corp. as a member of its board of directors.

It’s no secret that President Trump and Ryan shared an uneasy relationship. In an interview with the Daily Caller, the president blamed the Wisconsin Republican for failing secure funding from Congress to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Well, I was going to veto the omnibus bill and Paul told me in the strongest of language, ‘Please don’t do that, we’ll get you the wall.’ And I said, ‘I hope you mean that, because I don’t like this bill,’” the president told the outlet.

“Paul told me in the strongest of terms that, ‘Please sign this and if you sign this we will get you that wall.’ Which is desperately needed by our country. Humanitarian crisis, trafficking, drugs, you know, everything — people, criminals, gangs, so, you know, we need the wall,” he added“And then he went lame duck.”

In October 2016, Breitbart News published audio in which Ryan pledged not to defend then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump following the release of the Access Hollywood tape. “His comments are not anywhere in keeping with our party’s principles and values,” Ryan is heard telling Republican lawmakers during a conference call. “There are basically two things that I want to make really clear, as for myself as your Speaker. I am not going to defend Donald Trump—not now, not in the future. As you probably heard, I disinvited him from my first congressional district GOP event this weekend—a thing I do every year.”

Of course, President Trump went on to defeat his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton despite Ryan’s desertion.
