(San Francisco) Project Veritas has obtained and published documents and presentation materials from a former Facebook insider. This information describes how Facebook engineers plan and go about policing political speech. Screenshots from a Facebook workstation show the specific technical actions taken against political figures, as well as “[e]xisting strategies” taken to combat political speech.

The Gateway Pundit has repeatedly reported on Facebook censorship since the 2016 election.

In 2016 The Gateway Pundit was the 4th most influential conservative publisher on Facebook.

Today our traffic has been completely wiped out.

As voice after voice gets purged from social media, still think there’s no censorship?

Screen Shot 2019-02-27 at 10.19.43 AM

For a civilization that considers freedom of speech one of its fundamental principles and universal human rights, the West sure does a lot of censorship – and no, farming it out to ‘private companies’ does not change what it is.

It happened again on Tuesday: British activist Tommy Robinson was erased from Facebook and Instagram. The social media behemoth said it has to act “when ideas and opinions cross the line and amount to hate speech that may create an environment of intimidation and exclusion for certain groups in society.”

As online polemicists are fond of saying, “citation needed!” Yet Facebook offers none: no evidence of specific violations, not even a definition of “hate speech,” just an arbitrary standard – and a threat of further bans for people who “support… hate figures.” Whatever that means.

How did journalists – those paladins of free speech, the fabled Fourth Estate, the valiant protectors of values that would die in darkness without their intrepid efforts – greet this news? Did they object to a British citizen being muzzled and wax about the dangers to digital democracy? Oh no, they rejoiced: Finally, what took so long?!

The same process repeated itself later in the day, when Twitter banned Jacob Wohl. The self-described supporter of US President Donald Trump had reportedly boasted about setting up fake accounts to influence the 2020 election. That is regarded as the sin-above-all-sins by social media executives, terrified of Congress blaming them for Hillary Clinton losing the White House to Trump in 2016, even though 99 percent of US media considered it rightfully hers.

Here’s the thing, though: Twitter still hasn’t banned Jonathon Morgan, CEO of New Knowledge, a company that was proven to have set up thousands of fake accounts to swing the Senate race in Alabama to the Democrats, and later paid by the Senate to blame Russia for its tactics.

Screen Shot 2019-02-27 at 10.30.03 AM

Let’s also remember the suspension of several Facebook pages belonging to Maffick Media, an outfit that partners with Ruptly, a RT subsidiary. After the “Twitter police” at the German Marshall Fund and CNN raised a fuss about these pages having “Kremlin ties,” Facebook blocked them until they agreed to put up a notice about being “funded by Russia.”So they did, even though there is no such rule that would be universally applied.

Surely it is entirely a coincidence that a CNN reporter went around actively badgering social media outlets to ban Alex Jones, way back in August 2018, and would not stop until they all did?

Screen Shot 2019-02-27 at 10.30.54 AM

But wait, there is more! It was confirmed on Tuesday that retired Navy SEAL Don Shipley, known as a crusader against “stolen valor,” got his YouTube channel deleted earlier this month. There were no details as to why, but this was right after Shipley had exposed Nathan Phillips – the Native American activist who claimed he was victimized by Kentucky high school students, in what turned out to be fake news – as falsely claiming he served in Vietnam.

Columbia University researcher Richard Hanania offered an interesting analysis a couple of weeks ago, showing that of the 22 prominent figures suspended by Twitter in recent years, 21 were supporters of President Donald Trump, and only one – Rose McGowan – was a Democrat. McGowan had clearly violated the platform’s rule against doxxing, and was reinstated after she deleted the post. Many of those 21 Trump supporters were not so lucky, getting permanent bans from the platform. So he asked:

Screen Shot 2019-02-27 at 10.31.52 AM

What are the odds? Astronomical, actually – Hanania showed that conservatives would have to be four times as likely to violate Twitter rules for even a 5 percent chance of producing the 21-1 ratio. Yet those who routinely cite statistical “disparate impact” to cry racism are perfectly fine claiming there is no bias here? Really?

But [insert social media giant here] is a private company! They can do what they want! So cry the sudden champions of capitalism and deregulation, who in their previous breath claimed Trump abolishing Net Neutrality rules would break the internet. Make up your mind, folks!

In the McCarthyite atmosphere whipped up after the 2016 US presidential election, the social media that once promised unprecedented freedom of expression have turned into the tools of censorship – and not on behalf of a governing party, either, but the bipartisan political establishment united in opposition to an outsider president and anyone who dares support him, or criticize their conduct.

By the way, the “terrible dictator” Trump hasn’t lifted a finger to stop this persecution, let alone sic the IRS or the FBI on his critics.

Screen Shot 2019-02-27 at 10.34.49 AM

The idea behind free speech is not that all opinions are valid, but that they ought to be debated rather than imposed by force. Another fundamental principle of western civilization is that the law ought to apply equally to everyone.

One does not have to agree with Robinson, Wohl, Shipley, Maffick, Jones – or Trump, for that matter – to realize that a world in which there is one set of rules for “us” and another for “them,” in which it doesn’t matter what is done but Who is doing it to Whom, is not a land of liberty but something quite different.

YOUTUBE DEMONITIZES ANTI-VAX CHANNELS AFTER BUZZFEED CONTACTS ADVERTISERS

YouTube Demonitizes Anti-Vax Channels After BuzzFeed Contacts Advertisers

BuzzFeed’s journalistic activism is reminiscent of CNN – which hounded advertisers to ‘unperson’ InfoWars founder Alex Jones last year

Zero Hedge – FEBRUARY 23, 2019

YouTube on Friday demonetized channels which promote anti-vax content, after BuzzFeed notified a spate of advertisers that their ads were being run alongside anti-vax videos, reports BuzzFeed. YouTube said that such videos fall under its policy prohibiting videos with “dangerous and harmful” content to be monetized.

“We have strict policies that govern what videos we allow ads to appear on, and videos that promote anti-vaccination content are a violation of those policies. We enforce these policies vigorously, and if we find a video that violates them, we immediately take action and remove ads,” reads an emailed statement from YouTube to BuzzFeed.

Seven different advertisers said they weren’t aware their ads were appearing on videos like “Mom Researches Vaccines, Discovers Vaccination Horrors and Goes Vaccine Free,” which advocates against vaccinating children, and reached out to YouTube to pull the programmatic placements.

Their ads appeared on videos from channels including VAXXED TV, LarryCook333 (a proponent of StopMandatoryVaccinations.com), and iHealthTube, all of which YouTube has since demonetized, or prevented from running ads. –BuzzFeed

One health tech company, Nomad Health, told BuzzFeed News that it “does not support the anti-vaccination movement,” and was “not aware of our ads running alongside anti-vaccination videos.” The company said it would “take action to prevent it from happening in the future.”

Another such advertiser – discount vitamin company Vitacost, said it pulled all of its advertising on Tuesday after a blogger made a viral video highlighting a “soft-core pedo ring” operating on the platform.

“We pulled all YouTube advertising on Tuesday morning when we noticed content issues. We had strict rules to prevent our ads from serving on sensitive content and they were not effective as promised,” said a VitaCost spokesperson via email, who added. “We will continue to remain off of the platform until those changes are made and are proven to be effective by other advertisers.”

The advertisers contacted by BuzzFeed said they were unaware that their algorithmically dictated “programmic ads” were appearing alongside anti-vax videos.

“When we purchase programmatic media, we specify parameters that restrict the placement of our ads from association with certain content. Even so, however, sometimes ads get served in places that we don’t approve of. This is one of those cases,” said a Retail Me Not spokesperson. “We’re working to exclude this placement now.”

A spokesman for software company Grammarly said the company also took immediate action.

“Upon learning of this, we immediately contacted YouTube to pull our ads from appearing not only on this channel but also to ensure related content that promulgates conspiracy theories is completely excluded,” they said, adding “We have stringent exclusion filters in place with YouTube that we believed would exclude such channels. We’ve asked YouTube to ensure this does not happen again.”

Grammarly was one of several companies which asked YouTube to pull its ads from sexually suggestive children’s videos. AT&T, Hasbro, Kellogg, Epic Games and Nestle were among the other brands who did the same.

“Any content – including comments – that endangers minors is abhorrent, and we have clear policies prohibiting this on YouTube. We took immediate action by deleting accounts and channels, reporting illegal activity to authorities, and disabling comments on tens of millions of videos that include minors,” YouTube said in a Thursday statement to USA Today. “There’s more to be done, and we continue to work to improve and catch abuse more quickly.”

According to BuzzFeed, “Other companies that asked YouTube to stop their ads from appearing alongside anti-vax content include:

  • Brilliant Earth, a jewelry company, which said it has “made internal adjustments to our ad settings and will also follow up with our advertising partners to prevent our ads from appearing next to this content.”
  • CWCBExpo, a marijuana trade show, which said it would be “implementing strict guidelines on content placement and is eliminating hundreds of YouTube channels/videos and negative keywords.”
  • XTIVIA, which said it was “reviewing the ad placement,” which was “not [its] requested target.”
  • SolarWinds, a software company, which said the placement was unintentional and that it had “adjusted [its] filters to further refine the targeting of our ads on YouTube to better align with our targeted audience, MSPs and technology professionals.”

YouTube responded earlier this week to another controversy after Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) demanded that Facebook and YouTube parent company Google address anti-vax information on their platforms.

BuzzFeed‘s journalistic activism is reminiscent of CNN – which hounded advertisersto ‘unperson’ InfoWars founder Alex Jones last year. The result? “Many of the brands — including Nike, Moen, Expedia, Acer, ClassPass, Honey, Alibaba and OneFamily — have suspended ads on InfoWars’ channels after being contacted by CNN for comment.”

DON LEMON: IT’S NOT JUSSIE SMOLLETT’S “FAULT” THAT HE LOST IN THE COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION

Don Lemon: It's Not Jussie Smollett's "Fault" That He Lost in the Court of Public Opinion

CNN host runs defense for actor arrested for staging his own hate crime

 | Infowars.com – FEBRUARY 21, 2019

CNN host Don Lemon ran defense for Jussie Smollett on his show last night, claiming that it’s not the actor’s “fault” that he lost in the court of public opinion.

Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi announced that Smollett was “under arrest and in custody of detectives” this morning. His bail hearing is set for 1:30pm local time.

Smollett launched a media firestorm at the end of last month when he claimed he was assaulted by two individuals who shouted “this is MAGA country” and had a noose placed around his neck.

However, evidence soon emerged clearly suggesting Smollett had paid two Nigerian brothers who worked on the show Empire with him to stage the attack.

Despite some on the left deleting old tweets that signaled vehement support for Smollett and with others keen to avoid talking about the issue altogether, Don Lemon appeared to double down by absolving Smollett of blame.

https://twitter.com/RealSaavedra/status/1098442187795161089

During a segment on his show last night, the CNN host said Smollett had “lost the fight in the court of public opinion”.

“He lost that because of how – not his fault – maybe people were – I don’t know what they were saying to him, maybe because of his representatives, who knows – but it was handled poorly,” said Lemon.

CNN legal analyst Joey Jackson pushed back, commenting, “I don’t know if it’s not his fault, Don.”

“You think it’s his fault, you think he was doing what he wanted?” asked Lemon.

If the allegations are proven true, quite how anyone but Smollett himself is to blame for staging a hate crime which according to some could have kicked off racial violence in America is somewhat baffling.

Despite the overwhelming evidence against him, Smollett’s lawyers say they will “mount an aggressive defense,” with the actor potentially facing jail time.

SPLC PREYS ON AMERICAN UNITY

SPLC Preys On American Unity

Liberal attack group helping destroy the First Amendment

 | Infowars.com – FEBRUARY 11, 2019

Since the early 1970s, SPLC founder Morris Dees had fed on the civil rights victory of wrestling down the last remnants of the Democratic Party creation known as the Ku Klux Klan.

The SPLC relied on its wealthy liberal donors, which also lead to the organization’s nine-figure endowment.

But how do you keep the hate fighting money rolling in when Generation X, the children of integration, all got along for the most part?

The culture of racism in America seemed to be on its last leg, so the SPLC just rebranded racism, fueled it with Marxist critical theory and delivered that to the little brothers and sisters of Generation X, the millennials.

As the Washington Free Beacon reported, “The controversial organization reported $477 million in total assets and $132 million in contributions on its most recent tax forms, which cover Nov. 1, 2016 to Oct. 31, 2017. That represents an increase of $140 million in its total assets from the previous year.”

And here we are, up to our necks in divide and conquer hysteria.

In the midst of it, Proud Boys founder, political commentator and Generation Xer Gavin McInness has had enough.

AMERICA WE ARE NEXT!

Exclusive: Surveillance Footage of Roger Stone Raid Appears to Show Authorities Directing CNN

Reporters from news network seen speaking with authorities

 | Infowars.com – FEBRUARY 8, 2019

Video surveillance footage of the FBI raid on Roger Stone’s house appears to show authorities giving directions to awaiting CNN reporters before the arrest, prompting fresh speculation as to whether the news network was tipped off in advance.

Despite the road leading to Stone’s home being closed off at both ends, a CNN camera crew and reporters were allowed inside the bubble to catch events live as they unfolded. According to Stone, his neighbors who were out walking their dogs were told to go inside, but CNN was allowed to stay.

Video:

Still Photos;

During an interview following the raid, CNN producer David Shortell admitted that he was “waiting” outside Roger Stone’s house at 5am, an hour before FBI agents and police arrived to arrest the former Donald Trump associate.

Shortell claimed that his “reporter’s instinct” was to thank and that he “thought maybe something was happening” because of “unusual Grand Jury activity in Washington DC yesterday”.

However, despite vigorous denials by CNN, questions continued to swirl.

Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker suggested during his testimony earlier today before the House Judiciary Committee that CNN may have been tipped off to the FBI’s raid, promptingCNN justice correspondent Evan Perez to accuse Whitaker of “trying to give oxygen to a conspiracy”.

As we reported earlier, the surveillance footage itself was not released by Stone and was likely leaked by someone inside the House or Senate intelligence committee.

Roger Stone will be on the Alex Jones Show today to discuss latest developments.

More exclusive photos from the raid can be seen below. Video footage will be added to this article later.

GAVIN MCINNES TO SUE THE SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER

Gavin McInnes to Sue the Southern Poverty Law Center

SPLC listed Proud Boys as an extremist hate group and accused McInnes of promoting violence

 | Infowars.com – FEBRUARY 4, 2019

Gavin McInnes is suing the Southern Poverty Law Center after the group designated his former organization The Proud Boys as an extremist hate group and accused McInnes of advocating violence.

The SPLC officially designates McInnes former organization, The Proud Boys, as an extremist hate group and their website contains numerous articles about McInnes himself.

An article entitled Why are the Proud Boys so violent? Ask Gavin McInnes asserts, “Violence is at the core of their ideology and their primary tool for silencing their political foes” and blames McInnes for “blatantly promoting violence and making threats.”

The national demonization campaign against McInnes has come at personal cost to the former VICE co-founder. A Daily Beast article revels in the fact that he faces regular confrontations with and harassment from his neighbors.

During a September appearance on Infowars, McInnes complained that George Soros was “paying people to mess with my life, and spread these lies about me, spread fake news.”

McInnes was also completely deplatformed by Twitter back in August.

McInnes is not the first high profile political figure to sue the SPLC in recent times.

Last year, the group was forced to pay out $3.4 million and issue an apology to British political activist Maajid Nawaz after they falsely listed him as an “anti-Muslim extremist” (Nawaz is a Muslim reformist who campaigns against extremism).

A full press release containing more details of McInnes’ lawsuit against the SPLC will be made public later today and he will also appear on the Alex Jones Show.

UPDATE: PRESS RELEASE

Gavin McInnes Launches Lawsuit Against SPLC on Organization’s Hometurf Alleging Defamation and Damages

McInnes has been harassed, deprived of work, and suffered other damages as a result of being wrongly placed on The South Poverty Law Center’s partisan hate list.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Ali Alexander SueTheSPLC@protonmail.com

Montgomery, AL – Talk show host Gavin McInnes has filed suit against the hyperpartisan Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) this week. The 61-page complaint was electronically filed early Monday morning in the Middle District of Alabama outlining defamation and other tortious acts resulting in reputational and economic damages.

The Canadian-immigrant talk show host is demanding an apology from the left-wing SPLC for purposefully misrepresenting his beliefs in a defamatory manner and the defamatory mischaracterization of a fraternal club he founded, Proud Boys.

McInnes is being represented by noted First Amendment attorney Ron D. Coleman of Mandelbaum Salsburg P.C. and Baron Coleman of the Baron Coleman Law Firm.

Gavin McInnes will appear in the city of Montgomery Monday morning to consult with his legal and advocacy team, making himself available to local members of the media and kick off the launch of a crowdfunding website, www.DefendGavin.com.

Attorney Ron Coleman emphasized the significance of the case in relation to the growing partisan divide and practice of censorship by stating, “[t]his lawsuit has implications beyond Gavin McInnes because we’re challenging the use of deplatforming and defunding to privately censor speech. If we can’t stop this phenomenon now, the First Amendment will be rendered meaningless as dissent is silenced through private actors such as SPLC and its allies.”

Montgomery-based attorney Baron Coleman noting, “I wasn’t familiar with Gavin or his work prior to beginning work on this case. But there is absolutely zero excuse in America for systematically targeting someone for complete personal and financial destruction because they support a different politician or different set of political beliefs. I wouldn’t represent a racist or an anti-semite. And Gavin is neither. And the most horrific part of this entire ordeal is that the SPLC knows Gavin isn’t a racist or anti-semite or anything else they’ve labeled him. Rather, he supports a different slate of politicians with his satire and wit, and the SPLC would rather destroy him than have him out there convincing other people to see politics his way.”

McInnes released the following statement:

I, Gavin McInnes, formerly of every job I’ve ever had, am announcing, as of today, a lawsuit against the SPLC. They have harassed me, my family, and my friends to a level of tortious interference that goes well into sabotage.

I am doing this, not just to protect my reputation and my family but to protect everyone else’s. The SPLC has gone from a noble institution genuinely dedicated to eradicating hate to a hate group in and of itself that pretends this country is frothing with bigots desperate to foment WW3. They purposely lie about their enemies in an attempt to “destroy” them (their words) and it’s become a very effective way to make money. Scaremongering brought them the $50m their founder originally set out to make. Since then, it’s garnered hundreds of millions including untold millions in the Cayman Islands. I don’t fault entrepreneurs but they are using this incredible wealth to wield power over the innocent and destroy careers and businesses in their insatiable need to generate more bigots because, in the world of SPLC fundraising, mo hate is mo money.

Ben Carson is an extremist to them. So is, Laura Ingraham, the Tea Party, Jeanine Pirro, a group of volunteer lawyers called Alliance Defending Freedom, the Center for Immigration Studies, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and Maajid Nawaz. Maajid was a jihadist who toned it down and became a moderate Muslim. For that, he was deemed an anti-Muslim extremist. He sued the SPLC and won. I intend to win too.

I have had enough – no, WE have had enough of America being portrayed as a racist, Islamophobic, sexist, homophobic etc etc hellhole where “White nationalists” have, “become emboldened in the age of Trump.” It’s not true. The vast majority of us are good people and getting us fired and deplatformed because we dare to support the president isn’t just a corrupt and immoral way to make money. It’s not just immoral. It’s un-American.

I have been completely kicked off all platforms including Paypal which I was using to help people get decent legal representation. I’m unable to defend myself against the lies being spread around the Internet. My family has been attacked and so have my friends. The pro-Trump men’s club I started, the Proud Boys, have been rounded up and arrested facing serious felonies for daring to defend themselves against the radical left. It’s not just my circle of conservative Christians. Seemingly countless business and careers have been “destroyed” (yes “destroyed” – their word) by this group. Leo Johnson was working security at the Family Research Council when he was shot by a man who saw them on the SPLC’s hate group list. The Steve Scalise shootings were inspired by the SPLC’s list. A professor at Middlebury College was hospitalized after daring to defend Charles Murray who was deemed verboten by the SPLC. When you see their hate map of America, you’d think you were living in Nazi Germany.

It’s not just Twitter or a couple of apps. They are embedding themselves into Big Tech overall and getting involved with banks. Jennifer Morse runs The Ruth Institute, which is a group that prioritizes father / mother couples over gays in adoption procedures. It’s a pretty mainstream stance but thanks to the SPLC, her bank has closed all her accounts. Why are we giving these random busybodies so much power?

I’ve had enough of this group pretending to fight hate while manifesting it out of thin air. Their relentless thirst for fake villains shows no signs of abating, and until we stop and say “No,” they will continue to portray this country as a dark and disgusting Klan rally populated with bigots determined to torture those who disagree. That’s a lie. It’s a profitable lie that has made them multi-millionaires with unlimited power but the buck stops here. Let’s fight back.

Please join me in the fight of my life. I want to help you take this country back. We are living in one of the most prosperous and egalitarian nations in the world. Let’s enjoy it.

Updates on the case will be made available on www.DefendGavin.com

Berlin Police Academy Rigging Exams For Migrants – Report

By Dan Lyman

cap

The Berlin police academy is lowering standards for some new recruits in order to enable more migrants to join the force, according to German media.

An anonymous whistleblower identified as officer “Lee Roy” leveled the shocking claim in a recent interview.

https://www.bitchute.com/embed/fvDxgSY2OlRs/

“Of course it’s well known that the Berlin police are in need of personnel, and that’s why they’re trying to employ anyone at this time, and so they turn a blind eye,” says Roy.

“They want to raise the migrant quota working for the Berlin Police,” he asserts. “This is deliberately political, and so there is pressure from the top to the bottom.”

“And so they had to think about: how do we get more migrants into the agency when they can’t master the current tests? So they were given a memo with the answers on it, so they could pass the tests in any case.”

Roy claims that some applicants take pictures of the test questions and post them online or on WhatsApp.

He also says some recruits who fail the exams are allowed to take them over and over until they pass.

When asked to address the allegations, police spokesman Thomas Neuendorf expressed his frustration that “anonymous” whistleblowers are “putting accusations into the world” that are “very, very hard to rebut.”

He said concerned individuals such as Lee Roy should “explain these problems” to academy leadership – a move Roy believes would be the end of an officer’s career.

When asked about increasing the ‘migrant component’ of the police force, Neuendorf denied the existence of ‘quotas,’ but added that they do indeed employ migrants who can use their understanding of foreign languages and cultures to ‘defuse’ many incidents.

Neuendorf acknowledged that while exam takers are forbidden from bringing study aids or electronics into testing rooms, it is very possible that they might do so anyways.

“You’ll see the consequences of this in four or five years on the streets, of what’s happening right now,” Roy warns.

See Infowars Europe’s previous reports about migrants being sought and trained by German trucking companies and the Berlin Transport Company.
