Finland Reclassifies Sex Abuse Laws Amid Migrant Grooming Gang Scandal

The recent spate of sexual attacks on underage schoolgirls as young as ten has spurred the Finnish authorities into action.

A cross-party decision for legislative changes (to be made before elections due in April) has been reached in an attempt to stomp out grooming and sexual abuse.

Finland’s Justice Ministry is set to change rape laws to ensure that sex without consent is always a crime, in line with previous demands from a citizens’ initiative, reports national broadcaster Yle.

The changes, largely influenced by neighboring Sweden, are expected to tighten legislation concerning sex with minors and give more consideration to victims in helpless situations. In the future, sex with a child will always be considered rape, which is not the case nowadays.

At present, intercourse with someone below the age of consent is classified as aggravated child abuse. This led to massive outrage when Finnish prosecutors last year failed to charge a man convicted of sexually abusing a 10-year-old with rape.

Previously, a citizens’ initiative on consent law gained 57,000 signatures, but was initially met with a cool reception from Justice Minister Antti Häkkänen and was given the cold shoulder by parliament.

However, following last week’s series of arrests over child sex abuse featuring migrant suspects, Häkkänen changed his tune, which campaigners see as their victory. By his own admission, Häkkänen was shocked by the recent reports of rape and sexual abuse. Nevertheless, he stressed that the changes should be made after more careful consideration.

A similar consent law has been implemented in several countries, including Germany and Sweden. In Sweden, it has led to more convictions of rape, with more severe punishments handed out, according to Swedish Radio.

Additionally, the changes will affect police rules on data gathering to allow them to better track individuals suspected of grooming online. Furthermore, the government is to look at whether aggravated sex crimes constitute sufficient reason to rescind Finnish citizenship.

However, another, more radical petition demanding the deportation of foreign sex offenders is still gathering signatures in light of the recent grooming gang scandal. At the time of writing, it has amassed close to 104,000 signatures, almost double as the consent petition.

This initiative is backed by the right-wing Blue Reform party, who want the Finnish government to interpret international agreement more freely than before. The party’s requirement is to be able to deport refugees convicted of sexual offenses, regardless of whether their home country is considered safe or not.

This would require a constitutional change, an unlikely measure. Still, a number of Finnish politicians, including Interior Minister Kai Mykkänen, call for harsher penalties for foreigners convicted of sex crimes.

Meanwhile, the number of reports of sexual offenses against children increased markedly last year, reaching 1,400 and topping 2017’s figure by 18 percent, Yle reported.

About a quarter of all reported sexual offenses were carried out by people with a foreign background, police inspector Pekka Heikkinen informed, which signals clear over-representation.

Sweden’s taxpayer-funded public broadcaster censored the world “Islam” from a monologue by refugee Rahaf Mohammad about why she left Islam.

During an interview, SVT omitted the words “Islam” and “haram” from the translation. Haram means “forbidden” in Arabic.

Mohammad used the word while describing how she was locked up for six months and suffered abuse from her family for getting her hair cut short because Islam forbids it.

The edit is major given that Mohammad’s entire plight is based around her rejection of Islam. As an apostate, she is under threat of death if returned to her native Saudi Arabia.

Sweden Democrat politician Kent Ekeroth first drew attention to the omission, accusing the network of state-sponsored censorship. The original English subtitles can briefly be seen behind the overlayed Swedish translation, meaning that the words “Islam” and “haram” were deliberately removed by SVT.

“For a Swedish SVT viewer, it is basically impossible to see the English subtitles that reflect what she actually tells. Instead, you are left to read the Swedish translation that omits most of what she said in that sentence,” he wrote.

The act of censorship was met with derision, with one person updating the network’s logo and name from Sveriges Television to “Stasi Vision TV”.

“It’s like doing away with the word ‘Nazism’ in a report about World War II survivors! Or ‘communism’ in a report about the Soviet Union,” Twitter user Mikael Nilsson remarked.

The ruthless patrolling of politically correct boundaries is commonplace in Sweden, where a bizarre journalistic hive mind serves to manage acceptable discourse and shield Islam from criticism.

It appears as though Mohammad is set to prove herself problematic to leftists who simultaneously attempt to claim they are advancing “progressive” virtues while defending Islam, the least progressive belief system on the planet.

New cases of child rape revealed in Finland – President says asylum seekers brought evil with them

A number of cases of rape and abuse of children, with foreign perpetrators, have been revealed in Oulu in the northern parts of Finland since last autumn, Fria Tider reports.

The police are investigating another four cases with girls under the age of 15, where three perpetrators of foreign background have been arrested suspected of rape and serious sexual abuse of children.

In all cases, the suspects have background as refugees or asylum seekers.
And now the police in Helsinki have arrested several migrants suspected of serious rape and serious sexual abuse of children. The crimes have been committed in the last two months.

No direct link with the cases in Oulu is currently known.
Finland’s Prime Minister Juha Sipilä wrote on Twitter: “As a result of the inhuman and reprehensible events in Oulu and Helsinki, the Government will meet next week in negotiations both on Tuesday and Friday.”
Helsinki police point out the importance of parents informing their children to be cautious on social media, where the foreign rapists find their victims.

At least 25% of all girls in Niger are married by the age of 15 – and 76% by the age of 18. It is the highest rate of child marriage in the world.

Under Islamic Law (Sharia) girls can marry at any age, as long as they are “mature enough”.
In Muslim countries like Yemen, Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia, Pakistan and Sudan girls are considered “adults” and being sold into forced marriages with grown men by their families. There are even some cases of child marriages in Western countries since immigrants brought this tradition into the West.

The term “Islamophobia” was created by the Muslim Brotherhood to silence any possible debate about the problems Islamism has got with modernity.
The left uses it to portray anyone who criticises Islam as a “racist”. They ignore the fact that Islam is an ideology that has nothing to do with race.
There even is an attempt in the West to impose a sharia-blasphemy law to criminalise criticism of Islam. It started when Saudi Arabia and Muslim countries tried to pass a UN resolution to force Western states to criminalise criticism of Islam.
The Parliament in Canada passed “Motion M-103” to condemn the so-called “Islamophobia” (fear of Islam) in a preparation for a blasphemy law in Canada.
According to the sharia blasphemy law anyone who criticises Islam or the Prophet Muhammad should be killed. In Saudi Arabia and Iran Muslims are executed if they are accused of blasphemy. In Pakistan, where the situation is even worse, radical Muslims use the blasphemy law to persecute the Christian minority.
Is this the law the left wants to adopt?

Migrants Beat Driver, Incinerate Truck in France

A tractor-trailer was reduced to ashes and its driver badly beaten by a gang of 50 migrants who had set a fiery ambush on a French motorway near Calais, according to reports.

The Bulgarian trucker had attempted to ram through a blockade of flaming pallets erected by migrants on the ring road near Calais, a port hub for many trucks and passenger vehicles traveling to and from the UK.

The driver was taken to hospital after being assaulted by the migrants while he was trying to escape the truck, La Voix Du Nord reports.

Some social media users shared images of the charred truck and its cargo, which were totally destroyed.

“A first (for me at least). Lorry stopped by migrant barricade on  motorway, set alight last night,” wrote Channel 4 New reporter Paraic O’Brien.

Migrants attempting to commandeer or stowaway inside trucks bound for the UK have become regular occurrences in the Calais region with videos of brazen hijackings and attacks sometimes caught on video.

Police were unable to locate suspects involved in the most recent incident as all had reportedly fled the scene when authorities arrived.

Speaking at a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) reception in honor of himself and Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Ihlan Omar (D-Minn.), Carson also spoke in defense of his “sister Rashida,” who has been under fire for using a vulgar expletive to describe President Trump.

Asked by a reporter what he thought about Tlaib “and what she said,” Carson said he had replied, “I love her, I’ve known her for decades. She’s a fighter and I stand with her.”

“And we should stand with her,” he added, drawing applause from the CAIR gathering at a hotel in Arlington, Va.

Carson likened Tlaib and Omar to superheroes who arrived at a time when he was feeling “all alone” after his then sole Muslim colleague, Rep. Keith Ellison, had stepped down to run for attorney general of Minnesota. (Ellison took up the post on Monday; Omar won the election in November to succeed him as representative for Minnesota’s 5th District.)

“All of a sudden I looked in the sky and saw Wonderwoman come out of nowhere,” Carson said. “And then I looked on the other side and I saw Storm from the X-Men come out of nowhere.”

“We’ve got firepower in Congress. We’ve got sister Rashida [Tlaib] in the House, and she’s tough.”

“She’s the kind of sister you take to a debate with scholars with you, because she’ll rock the house,” Carson continued. “She’s also the kind of sister you take with you if you’re about to get jumped, because she’ll fight too. That sister’s tough.”

Carson said it was important to have three Muslims in Congress, but that he would not rest until there were five more Muslims in Congress in 2020, and ten more by 2022 or 2024.

“In 2030 we may have about 30, 35 Muslims in Congress,” he said.

“Then we’re talking about Madame Chair Rashida. We’re talking about Madame Chair Ilhan,” Carson continued.

“Hell, we could be saying Speaker of the House Ilhan, Speaker of the House Rashida, Senator Rashida, Governor Ilhan, President Fatima, Vice President Aziza.  Inshallah [Allah willing].”

Carson described Tlaib and Omar as “powerful” and “smart.”

“They’re ready. They represent the next generation of Democratic leadership. They’re unapologetic about who they are, and they won’t bow down and they’ll never, never sell you out.”

Concluding his speech, Carson said every American Muslim has “a directive to represent Islam, in all of our imperfections, but to represent Islam and let the world know that Muslims are here to stay, and Muslims are a part of America. And we will have a Muslim caucus that is sizeable, that is formidable, and that is there for you.”

Yet another left-wing couple visited a dangerous foreign country to spread love and engage in utopian activism before promptly disappearing in another tragic case of cultural relativism.

Canadian Edith Blais and her Italian boyfriend Luca Tacchetto were traveling in the West African country of Burkina Faso when all communications with their families abruptly ceased on December 15. It is thought that their pair were kidnapped, although their whereabouts remain unknown.

The couple traveled through Burkina Faso despite a Canadian government travel advisory warning to “avoid all unnecessary travel” in the country. They were also on their way to the capital of Ouagadougou despite six Canadians being killed in a 2016 attack in the city when Islamic jihadists stormed a hotel.

“Canada’s travel advisory for Burkina Faso is about as explicit as you can make these things,” said Gar Pardy, a former director-general of consular affairs who also served as ambassador to multiple countries. “It’s a very troubled country.”

The couple had also arrived in Burkina Faso from Mali, despite the Canadian government warning to “avoid all travel” to Mali due to the severe threat of terrorism and violent carjackings.

“Armed criminals don’t hesitate to shoot at vehicles to stop and rob their occupants …. Such incidents can happen …. day or night, on both main and secondary roads,” states Global Affairs Canada.

Although unconfirmed whether she personally wrote the words, a screenshot of a Facebook post circulating on the on social media shows Blais holding an ‘Iraq’ sign in Arabic while the post reads, “HITCHHIKING IRAQ – I just wanted to share that there is love and warmth everywhere in the world. You just need the wisdom and courage to reach out and grasp it. Open your minds and hearts! We are the people showing others that the world is a place in which solo females can travel to its far corners. Happy 2019. Let’s hit the road.”

According to reports, Blais was intending to travel on to Togo, where she “planned to volunteer with an organization attempting to reforest parts of Togo.”

As I highlight in the video at the end of this article, there have been innumerable instances of left-wingers with a utopian idea of the world who visit dangerous countries trying to spread peace, love and understanding who end up dead.

Others who have expressed support for mass immigration have been brutally raped and murdered by migrants in their own countries.

The most recent example was two female Scandinavian tourists, one of whom urged her Facebook followers to “never judge people by their appearance” alongside a video which decried Islamophobia.

Both women ended up being raped and beheaded by ISIS supporters while on a hiking trip in Morocco.

Another case involved two left-wing cyclists who biked around the world while arguing that there was no evil in the world and that our view of other cultures being more intolerant or dangerous was just a product of our own bigotry.

They ended up being mowed down by vehicles and then stabbed to death by Islamic terrorists in Tajikistan.

Until leftists dispense with their utopian delusions and truly realize that the world is a dangerous place which is full of people intent on doing harm, and that the danger is far greater in countries located in Africa and the Middle East, more innocent people will suffer pointless deaths.

Don’t forget that this is also why we have borders; to keep out dangerous violent criminals – and yet the left does everything in its power to dismantle them.

Last Night in Sweden: 3 Explosions, Drive-by Shooting, Kidnapping, Arson

Sweden was rocked Wednesday night by a series of explosions, a drive-by shooting, a kidnapping, and a fire at an asylum residence, according to local media and police.

In Skåne County, three detonations over the span of four hours kept the ‘bomb squad’ very busy as a blast at an apartment building in Landskrona was followed by two more in nearby Malmö – one at a grocery store and another at an industrial garage.

Pictures taken at the grocery site show extensive damage to storefront.

“It turns out the Swedish bomb squad needs more resources,” said journalist Peter Sweden. “Tonight there was another explosion in the city of Malmö, a grocery store was bombed. But the Swedish bomb squad was already occupied dealing with a bombing at an apartment in a different city.”

In Värnamo, an exchange of gunfire between vehicles led to the arrest of five suspects under suspicion of attempted murder.

“Several people who were in a car on Malmövägen had been shot at from another car,” Fria Tider reports. “During the subsequent operation, the police managed to stop three cars at different locations in the Värnamo area, which could be put in connection with the shooting.”

In Töreboda, police are investigating arson after a fire broke out at an asylum residence.

Some 40 residents were evacuated from the building and taken to a nearby parish home, according to a police report.

In Falun, a 15-year-old boy was kidnapped by a man with a baseball bat who demanded a ransom from the boy’s parents under threat of physical harm.

“The search led police to an address where they suspected the boy was,” Expressenreports. “After work by the police negotiator, a man in his 30s was arrested by prosecutors.”

“The perpetrator is said to have demanded money not to hit the boy with a baseball bat.”

Hungary can be proud that it was the first country to prove that migration can be stopped – PM

Addressing an international press conference on Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Hungary’s goal is to have “anti-immigration forces” in the majority in every European Union institution.

Hungary wants to see an anti-immigration majority first in the European Parliament, then the European Commission and eventually, through member states’ national elections, in the European Council as well, Orban said.

The prime minister said May’s European parliamentary elections would be historic because Europeans would finally get to have their say on the issue of migration. Hungary so far has been the only member state where the people have been given the chance to express their views on migration, he said. Orban added that his Fidesz party’s aim for the elections was “to be the most successful party” in Europe and in the European People’s Party.

Migration is not simply an issue that will be in the focus of the European parliamentary elections but one that is profoundly transforming European policies, Orban said. The traditional division of parties into left wing and right wing is being replaced by a new division based on either being pro-migration or anti-migration, he said.

The migration debate also has bearing on attitudes to Christianity, making the protection of Christian culture a political duty, Orban said. It also has a bearing on the debate about sovereignty because migration advocates disrespect the decisions of those against taking in migrants, he added.

The prime minister said that migration would be Europe’s defining issue in next 15-20 years, arguing that the population growth rates of Africa and Asia were higher than their population retention rates.

Hungary can be proud that it was the first country to prove that migration can be stopped on land, and for a long time not even countries with maritime borders attempted to achieve such a feat, the prime minister said. Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini was the first to say that this could be done, Orban said, adding that this had made Salvini a “hero” in his eyes.

The prime minister said the Polish-Italian axis was “one of the best things to happen” and great hope was set in store for this development.

Orban noted that Fidesz is a member of the EPP and added that “loyalty in Hungary is a political value”. “As long as we are [in the EPP]— hopefully for a long time — we will always be loyal to our party family”.

At the same time, he added, the issue of migration “does not recognise party borders” and requires the cooperation of governments. The prime minister said he was always ready to meet Salvini if the migration issue justified doing so and as long as Salvini was responsible for migration issues in Italy.

Migration has already brought about significant changes in terms of Europe’s future, Orban said. In some countries it is already clear that their civilisations will be mixed going forward, and it is only a question of how the people will coexist, he added.

Migration in western Europe is a question of coexistence, Orban said. But in central Europe the debate is centred on “how we can prevent a situation like the one that can already be seen in western Europe”, he added.

Orban said migration had driven western and central Europe far apart, adding that the question was how they can remain united “now that they’ve chosen such different futures”.

A homogeneous European civilization is being replaced by two civilizations: one that builds its future on the coexistence of Islam and Christianity, and the central European model which continues to conceive Europe “as a Christian civilization”, Orban said.

He said the issue of migration was dismantling the EU’s structure and was also behind Brexit. All liberal democrats, he said, were pro-migration, he added.
