âLouisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry today announced the arrest of an illegal alien living in Houma on numerous counts of Internet crimes against children,â said a press release.
âJose Juan Hernandez, 42, illegally living in Houma, was arrested on 1 count of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen (Distribution) and 17 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen (Possession),â the release continued.Â
Hernandez has been booked into the Lafourche Parish Detention Center and ICE has placed a detainer on him.
Landry blasted the United Statesâ broken immigration system.
âYet again, our office has arrested another illegal immigrant accused of exploiting children,â he said. âThis man who should not be in our country has been picked up for possessing and distributing pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.â
âToo many Louisiana families have become victims of crime because of our Southern border in name only,â he continued. âSo I again urge the Congress to support President Trump, build the wall, and help us make our communities safer.â
Saturday, President Donald J. Trump made a deal with Democrats to reopen the federal government for a period of three weeks to continue negotiating for the wall, while federal government employees get paid. In the event that Congress will not fund the wall, he will likely declare a national emergency to get it done.

This arrival marks the latest in a string of unusually large groups crossing the U.S-Mexico border illegally, usually turning themselves in and requesting asylum.
Border Patrol sources alleged that âseveral busloadsâ of the migrants were dropped off in Northern Mexico, almost immediately crossing the border, which was only fortified for the prevention of vehicular crossings in this sector. Migrants, who were mostly from the Central American nation of Guatemala, were said to simply crawl under the fencing with ease.
In similar fashion to recent large groups of migrants, the border crossers were apprehended by Border Patrol shortly after their arrival in the United States, having been detected by motion sensors. This was likely all part of their plan, as fighting a battle for legal residency within the American immigration courts is often viewed by migrants as a more favorable way to obtain legal status in the country.

Should their claims for asylum be accepted, the American taxpayer would be on the line for providing free world-class education, welfare, healthcare and public services for the migrants, regardless of their illegal entrance into the country.
Large groups of migrants pose an increasingly prevalent issue for Border Patrol and Homeland Security, which institutionally are more structured to deter smaller groups of adult men coming to the United States illegally to seek work. The group that arrived Thursday is one of several that came this month, with one that tunneled in near Yuma containing 376 people.
A wall, while serving as an essential component of comprehensive border security, is unlikely to deter these sorts of groups that aim to utilize the immigration court system to secure residence. A more specific solution would involve reforming the system to crack down on fake asylum claims and requiring migrants to submit claims for asylum in a safe third country, such as Mexico.

Stone recalled last Fridayâs events when he was arrested by FBI agents at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a CNN production team in tow.
LISTEN:
Stone said, â[FBI agents] walked me out in the middle of the street to make sure the CNN camera could get great footage of the whole thing. The street was sealed off, so how CNN had a camera right outside the door; thatâs very hard to understand, because nobody else was allowed on the street.â
CNN denied being tipped off by sources within Robert Muellerâs team or the broader FBI, crediting âreporterâs instinctâ with its decision to have a camera crew on-site during the pre-dawn raid of Stoneâs home.
President Donald Trump tweeted about CNNâs presence at the scene of Stoneâs arrest:

Stone continued, âThey then took me to the federal courthouse in Fort Lauderdale where I was shackled, hand and foot, in heavy metal shackles, and put in a holding cell for three hours with three African-American gentlemen who, by the way, all support President Trumpâs recent justice reform package, and I waited to go in front of a judge who released me on the bond that weâve discussed.â
Stone went on, âSo this was meant to do two things. One, to taint the jury pool, to paint a picture for the American people that Iâm some sort of criminal, even though Iâm charged with non-violent process crimes, and also to send a message to others.â
Stone added, âReading the indictment, there are several people who are preparing to lie on behalf of the Mueller investigation and bear false witness against me. So they want to let them know that this will happen to them unless they say what theyâre told to say.â
Last Friday, CNNâs Jake Tapper said of Stoneâs possible imprisonment, âHe might like it.â
Stone considered Tapperâs comment as innuendo-laden. He said, âLook, Iâm a libertarian. I think people know that. Iâm a long-time supporter of same-sex marriage, of the legalization of marijuana. Iâm a libertarian conservative. Iâm not a social conservative. People know that. My private life is my private life. Iâm married and I have two children, five grandchildren, and our business is our business.â
Stone went on, âI donât know what those implications are. I mean, Jake Tapper looks light in the loafers to me. I donât know what implication heâs making about me, but I think most people found the whole thing repugnant. Yeah, I like to dress well. I have a fashion site;Â Stone on Style. You can go there, now. Iâve written books. âStoneâs Rules for Menâs Style.â Iâve been the menâs style correspondent for the Daily Caller and I still am. Whatâs the implication there?â
Stone described harassment and threats directed at him and his family.
âThe hatred, the death threats, the threats against my children, the threats to disfigure my wife,â said Stone. âIâve had people call the house and say, âWe know where your children go to school,â and hang up. The left is sick in this country. They are mentally ill.â
Stone stated, âFor two years, now, Iâve been unable to go out in public to a restaurant or through an airport without ugliness and people threatening to kill me and people saying, âYouâre a Russian spy.’â
Stone described the financial burden of combating the Mueller-led operationâs charges against him.
âItâs destroyed my consulting business,â explained Stone. âI lost my health and life insurance in December, because I could no longer pay the premiums. I had to sell my car. I had a small fund set aside for the college education of my children which I had to liquidate, which had come from the proceeds of my books sales.â
Stone continued, âThe internet censorship of my show on Infowars and my Facebook page where â Iâve written five books; two of them New York Times best sellers â strictly through Facebook promotion, because I understand targeting. I can no longer do that because Iâm censored and shadowbanned on Facebook.â
Stone invited Breitbart News patrons to support his legal defense fund.
âI had to set up a legal defense fund: StoneDefenseFund.com,â said Stone. âOr you can go to WhoFramedRogerStone.com. They both go lead to the same place. Thatâs the only authorized place if you want to help me and my family.â
Stone pleaded, âIâm broke. Iâm looking at $2 million in legal bills to try to not spend the rest of my life in prison on some kind of trumped up phony political charges because I supported Donald Trump for president, and because I helped bring down the most evil, corrupt, foul-mouthed, self-centered, short-tempered kleptocrat in American history: Hillary Rotten Clinton.â
Stone pondered FBI Director Chris Wrayâs possible involvement in the FBI raid of his home.
âObvious question: Did the FBI Director Christopher Wray approve this raid?â asked Stone. âAnd if so, why? Thereâs a question for the president. Who approved this? They have to have spent half a million dollars. Who approved this? Christopher Wray may be the presidentâs worst appointment. Heâs a deep stater. He didnât vote for Donald Trump. He doesnât support Donald Trump. Why is this guy the FBI director? I donât really get it.â
Stone went on, âMatthew Whitaker seems to me to be a good man. Heâs got authority to act, right now. He has an out of control federal prosecutor who he could limit to Russian collusion based on previous legal decisions, but he doesnât seem to do so.â
Stone concluded, âThis isnât about me. Itâs about the president. Theyâre coming for him. Anybody who doesnât see that is naive, and they want me out of the way because I will speak out against it. They want to silence me because I see the big picture.â

âI was very delighted when she agreed,â Schumer confirmed to Zach Cohen, the National Journalâs Senate correspondent.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi formally invited President Donald Trump to deliver the State of the Union address on Feb. 5, to which Trump accepted the invitation. The State of the Union was originally scheduled for Jan. 29, however, it was delayed after Pelosi refused to host it during the government shutdown.
âI am writing to inform you that the House of Representatives will not consider a concurrent resolution authorizing the presidentâs State of the Union address in the House Chamber until the government has been reopened,â Pelosi wrote on Wednesday. (RELATED: Stacey Abrams Allegedly Attempts To Run Illegal Ads In Support Of Non-Existent Gubernatorial Run-Off)
Five days later, after Congress passed a bill to re-open the government, Pelosi sent a second letter to Trump.
âWhen I wrote to you on January 23rd, I stated that we should work together to find a mutually agreeable date when government has reopened to schedule this yearâs State of the Union address,â the Speaker wrote. âIn our conversation today, we agreed on February 5th.â

After losing in November to Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, Abrams has been mulling over a second run for the position when his term expires in 2022. However, she is also considering running for Georgiaâs U.S. Senate seat when Republican Sen. David Perdue is up for re-election in 2020.
Abrams and her campaign consistently accused Kemp of racist voter suppression. A spokeswoman for Abramsâ campaign released a statement in October claiming that the he was âmaliciously wielding the power of his office to suppress the vote for political gain and silence the voices of thousands of eligible voters â the majority of them people of color.â
Following Abramsâ loss, she has appeared regularly on cable news shows repeating those assertions. There has been no evidence to corroborate Abramsâ claims.

In his latest monologue, the Fox anchor said itâs crucial to raise some questions before the arrest of Roger Stone â an associate of Donald Trump â fades from the headlines. Notably, it was almost entirely devoted to a CNN crew being conveniently present at the early-morning FBI raid on Stoneâs Fort Lauderdale house.
âHow did CNN know about a raid that was supposed to be a secret? Did they learn from [Robert] Muellerâs team?â Carlson asked. Shortly after the raid, which Carlson likened to âa military assault,â speculation began to spread that the network had an inside track with the FBI or Muellerâs team.
âCNN acted as the public relations arm of the Mueller investigation, as they have before,â Foxâs political commentator suggested. âThe network is no longer covering [Mueller]; theyâre working with [Mueller]. And you should know that as you watch it.â
Carlson was not the only one to comment on Stoneâs arrest, and the way it was executed. The Feds sent more armed men to arrest the 66-year-old unarmed man than it did to kill Bin Laden in 2011, he noted.
Mueller, who is leading the Russiagate probe, âcan send armed men to your home to roust you from bed at gunpoint just because he feels like it, and thereâs nothing you, or anyone else, can do about it,â said Carlson.
He branded the FBI special counsel âthe single most powerful person in America,â and yet ânobody voted for him⊠Nobody in Washington catches the irony in any of this. Mueller himself is the threat to our democracy. The most powerful man, elected by nobody.â

During Trumpâs campaign, Stone boasted about having connections with WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange, but later said it wasnât a direct link. Instead, he said that he relied on New York radio host Randy Credico (referred to as âPerson 2âin Thursdayâs indictment) as a âgo-between.â
The indictment says Stone lied to the House Intelligence Committee about his alleged contacts with WikiLeaks, and tried to convince another person to give false testimony.
