Rigel Robinson tweeted an email exchange with a booker for Carlsonâs show, in which he called the primetime host a âwhite supremacist goblin.â
The city councilor had sponsored a drive to rename manholes- the term commonly used in the English language for the covers of sewer access pipes on the streets- to âmaintenance holes.â According to Robinson, the new word imagined for the the objects is nominally more âinclusiveâ than its predecessor.
Carlsonâs scheduler reached out hoping to book Robinson to explain his move. Robinson flipped out in response, making the leap from gender-neutral language to accusing Carlson of racism in relatively unprecedented terms.
âUnfortunately I wonât be able to come on the show,â Robinson expressed in his email. âTucker Carlson is a dangerous, xenophobic, racist, white supremacist goblin who I am not interested in engaging with.â
The email thread in which Robinson accused Carlson of being a fantasy creature from J.R.R Tolkienâs universe was deleted on Twitter as of Friday morning, and itâs unclear if the tweet was removed by the city councilor or censored by Twitter. Robinsonâs affiliation with the progressive left makes the former far more likely.
Although his desperate bid to avoid being questioned on Orwellian redefinition tactics appears to have succeeded for now, the progressive has made it clear that he has no genuine argument for stripping the term âmanholeâ of its commonly known and traditional title.

Before President Trumpâs tweetstorm in which he encouraged Omar to go back and fix her own country, Somali-Canadian journalist Hodan Nalayeh was trying to do precisely that.
Nalayeh returned to the country of her birth to tell âupliftingâ stories about Somalia, according to the Washington Post.
The journalist became well known for her relentlessly positive tweets about Somalia. Just one week ago, she lauded the âbeautyâ of the place.

One respondent praised her for âcountering the doom narrative propagated by many about Somaliaâ.

Another Somali writer praised her portraying an image of the country radically different from the stereotype of âvictims trapped in a vicious circle of conflictsâ.
During a video tour on her YouTube channel of the town of Kismayo, Nalayeh said she was hopeful the area could be rebuilt and revived, âBecause this place is beautiful!â
On Friday last week, Nalayeh was killed in that very same town when al-Shabab militants stormed the Asasey Hotel in Kismayo.

The total death toll claimed 26 lives and it took around 14 hours for Somali security forces to regain control of the hotel.
âWhile Nalayehâs death would seem to underline the harshness of Trumpâs remarks, it was also a visceral argument for what many understood to be his central point: that perhaps immigrants should be especially grateful to live in the United States,â reports the Pluralist.

Far Left Watch exposed that Van Spronsen was apart of the group today in a Twitter post.

The John Brown Gun Club was promoted by CNN as recently as April where a commentator claimed the organization was âwhite, liberal, progressive people, inclusive, friendly to the world.â A man appearing to be Van Spronsen can be seen four seconds into a promotional clip released by CNN for their segment.
Van Spronsen released a manifesto to his comrades before he attacked the detention center in which he confirmed his ANTIFA ties and urged others to follow in his deranged footsteps.
âThereâs wrong and thereâs right. Itâs time to take action against the forces of evil,â Van Spronsen wrote. âEvil says one life is worth less than another. Evil says the flow of commerce is our purpose here. Evil says concentration camps for folks deemed lesser are necessary. The handmaid of evil says the concentration camps should be more humane. Beware the centrist.â
âThis is a call to patriots⌠to stand against this travesty against everything that you hold sacred,â he added.
Van Spronsenâs entire letter can be seen here:

ANTIFA is rallying around their fallen comrade, posting from their social media accounts lionizing Van Spronsen as a martyr and a hero for the anti-fascist cause. While conservatives are regularly tossed off social media for merely expressing their political beliefs, ANTIFA is allowed to promote terror on those same platforms.
Andy Ngo, a journalist who was recently brutally attacked by an ANTIFA mob in Portland, OR, highlighted the Seattle chapter for sympathizing with Van Spronsen in a Twitter post.

Two months ago, a member of the John Brown Gun Club was arrested and charged with felony harassment after apparently being photographed stalking right-wing activist Spencer Sturdevant while brandishing a firearm.
Many conservatives have called for ANTIFA to be named a domestic terrorist group at the federal level by President Donald Trump. This may be the best opportunity for Trump to do so, as their terrorist violence sweeps the nation.

Tucker drew criticism about his recent comments on congresswoman Ilhan Omar and her ungratefulness as an immigrant.
He specifically said âIlhan Omar is living proof that the way we practice immigration has become dangerous to this country.â
Carlson added, âA system designed to strengthen America is instead undermining it.â
In response to Carlsonâs comments, Heer opined that âThereâs nothing new about racism from either Fox News or Carlsonâs mouth.â
In Heerâs view, Carlsonâs supposedly âtoxicâ behavior has âreopened a debate about whether progressives, either leftists or liberals, should appear on the right-wing network.â
Certain leftists such as Glenn Greenwald of The Intercept and independent journalist Michael Tracey have been on Carlsonâs show. In response to Carlsonâs choice words for Omar, author Molly Crabapple commented, âSelf identified leftists, stop going on Tuckerâs White Power Hour to agree with him.â
Heer identifies Tuckerâs strategy in trying to appeal to the Left:
Carlson is as insidious as he is odious and therefore very cunning in trying to channel popular anti-war sentiment into a right-wing unilateralism, as well as recasting grassroots anti-business sentiments into a conservative opposition to the supposed cosmopolitan elitism of woke capitalists.
By having leftists like Greenwald and Tracey on his show, Heer argues that âCarlson is trying to co-opt aspects of their anti-establishment message for his own project.â
The anti-war causes that Tucker promotes draw leftists like Greenwald and Tracy to his show to discuss issues that otherwise get ignored by the mainstream media. However, many leftist gatekeepers like Heer want to make sure that so-called âwhite supremacyâ be stopped at all costs.
That usually means that contrarian voices like Carlson should be completely disavowed regardless of what is brought to the table. People canât agree on everything, but there should at least be a consensus that the never-ending wars must go away.
For too long, concentrated interests have made a killing off of the suffering of foreigners and have completely turned the U.S. into an overstretched empire.
Fretting about comments in the distant past seems petty, especially when we have the opportunity to move forward on an issue like foreign policy intervention. Calling for the isolation and ostracization of people like Tucker Carlson does us no good.
If we want to progress on these issues, we need to avoid the toxic nature of identity politics and actually work together to move forward.

Yes, really.
69-year-old Willem Van Spronsen was shot dead by police on Saturday morning at an ICE facility in Washington State after he threw molotov cocktails in an attempt to ignite a propane tank. He was also armed with an AR-15 semi-automatic weapon.
Van Spronsenâs manifesto subsequently emerged in which he stated, âI am Antifaâ and said the attack was a protest against the establishment of âconcentration campsâ in the United States.
Despite the fact that Van Spronsen is a domestic terrorist who literally tried to kill Border Patrol officers, Black Lives Matter mouthpiece Shaun King praised him on Twitter.
âWillem Van Spronsen just became the first martyr attempting to liberate imprisoned refugees from a for-profit detention center in Tacoma, Washington,â tweeted King.

He then described Van Spronsenâs manifesto as âbeautifulâ and added, âHe wasnât crazy -inaction is.â

King then tweeted an image of tributes to Van Spronsen and commented, âHis mind was very clear.â

Kingâs tweets are a direct violation of Twitterâs rules, which state, âWeâŚprohibit the glorification of violence,â but his account has not been restricted.

As we highlighted yesterday, both Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar refused to condemn the attack despite the terrorist using the same âconcentration campâ rhetoric as they did.
Van Spronsen also previously appeared on a CNN show because he was a member of a far-left gun club described as the âgood guysâ by a CNN host.

âI also learned of a recent pilot program that used rapid DNA tests to discover whether these family units were real. Nearly 30 percent were found to be fraudulent in the Rio Grande Valley-in other words, the adults bringing kids into the United States illegally werenât related to the children,â Cruz stated.
âThis is one of the most tragic elements of the crisis: the number of children who are being trafficked, who are being physically abused, sexually abused, and neglected. Often, they are being used as pawns,â Cruz said.
Former Republican Arizona governor Jan Brewer also said that President Donald Trumpâs program is catching human traffickers and âfraudsters.â
Opponents of the program include CNN and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
If Trump was supposedly separating families as the Left claims, why fight a test to ensure parenthood so that these âfamiliesâ can stay together?
Former Republican Arizona governor Jan Brewer said that President Donald Trumpâs program â so far tested as a pilot â to test the DNA of adult migrants who bring children to the southern border is already catching human traffickers and âfraudsters.â
The Department of Homeland Security has rolled out a âpilotâ program at a few select locations on the border that involves cheek-swabbing the migrants who come over the border and analyzing the results in the space of about an hour and a half.
Opponents of the program include CNN and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
If Trump was supposedly separating families as the Left claims, why fight a test to ensure parenthood so that these âfamiliesâ can stay together?
