Just Like That, They’re ‘Christians’ Again

The New York Times decided not to use any euphemisms on Wednesday when they reported that “mobs of Christian men in Sri Lanka” have allegedly been “threatening and beating Muslims.”

CAP

Note, they specifically identified “Christians” as the attackers and “Muslims” as the victims.

Contrast that with their front page in the aftermath of the Sri Lanka terrorist suicide bombing attacks where no mention was made of Muslims being the attackers nor Christians being the victims.

We saw just the same with the Democrats.

Even though this was the deadliest Muslim terrorist attack since 9/11, the suffering of those killed and their families takes a backseat in the media to the fear of a “backlash” among Muslims.

ISIS, Al-Qaeda Terrorist Camps in Latin America, Moscow Warns

Meanwhile, Central Americans pouring into US en masse

RT – APRIL 26, 2019

The activity of jihadists affiliated to Islamic State and Al-Qaeda has been spotted in Latin America as they recruit fighters and promote extremist ideology among local Muslims, Russian GRU chief Igor Kostyukov said.

“Among the new risk factors is the emergence of jihadist training camps and hideouts in the region,” Igor Kostyukov, the head of Russia’s main intelligence directorate (the GRU), said during the annual Moscow Conference on International Security.

The jihadists currently operating in Latin America are linked to Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) and Al-Qaeda, he added.

Owen Shroyer reports on the arrest of a woman in Wisconsin who was caught preparing an ISIS-style bombing and/or poison attack

“They recruit fighters to bolster their ranks in the Middle East and North Africa, collect funds and promote extremist ideology among the region’s six-million Muslim population,” Kostyukov warned.

He didn’t name specific countries where the jihadist camps have been discovered.

Last year, Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales Cabrera said that around 100 people linked to IS and other groups were arrested in his country and deported to where they came from.

RASHIDA TLAIB SAYS SHE WAS “AFRAID” OF AMERICANS AFTER 9/11

Rashida Tlaib Says She Was "Afraid" of Americans After 9/11

Democratic Congresswoman says post-September 11 atmosphere made her “angry”

 | Infowars.com – APRIL 26, 2019

Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib says she was “afraid” of her fellow Americans after 9/11 and that their reaction to the terror attacks made her “angry”.

In an interview with Makers, Tlaib said; “I was probably my second year in law school when 9/11 happened and I was really terrified of what was going to happen to my husband, who’s only a green card holder at the time”.

“I immediately called my brothers and told them to be very careful who you hang out with, telling my sisters, you know, just be real careful out there,” said Tlaib, who emphasized that she was “really afraid of my fellow Americans” after the attack.

The Democratic Congresswoman said the whole experience made her “angry” and more determined to become involved in politics.

Quite how Tlaib thought she was the victim after the slaughter of thousands of Americans by Islamic extremists is not elaborated upon in the interview.

Amy Mek posted the interview alongside footage (confirmed to be accurate) of Palestinians celebrating in the streets on the day of 9/11.

Tlaib has repeatedly emphasized her pride in her Palestinian heritage, which some have cited to accuse her of being a closet Islamist.

While no one is suggesting that Tlaib was glad 9/11 happened, her bizarre comments about the attack are on a par with Rep. Ilhan Omar’s equally absurd statement when she described the terror outrage as “some people (who) did something”.

Tlaib has repeatedly defended Omar, suggesting that criticism of her statement is akin to inciting violence.

What do you think about Tlaib’s remarks about 9/11? Let us know in the comments below.

Sweden: Christian migrants repeatedly attacked by Muslim migrants fear civil war will break out in the country

By

Today, around 120,000 Syriac Christians reside in Sweden. While many of them fled genocide in the Middle East, attacks against their churches and threats against their organisations are still not uncommon.

Following repeated threats, the Syriac National Federation in Sweden has stepped up security measures, from camera surveillance to its own security guards, the news outlet Samhällsnytt reported.

A recent Facebook post by the Syriac National Federation has detailed expletive-loaded threats it received from speakers of Arabic.

According to the federation’s spokesperson, this is not the first time such an incident has occurred. Most often, he said, the callers speak either Swedish with a thick Middle Eastern accent or even Arabic.

The police, however, chose not to investigate the matter, explaining that obscene language is not illegal.

“As soon as something happens in the Middle East or we are somehow visible in the media, we get these calls, so we are used to this.”

“At one point they say they will do the same to us in Sweden as they did in the Middle East. A genocide has been carried out in the Middle East against Christians. We have fled these groupings to Sweden, but they have caught up with us here”, the spokesperson said.

The Syriac National Federation has repeatedly turned to the authorities, but found no understanding, except among the Christian Democrats.

According to Samhällsnytt, there is a widespread feeling of resignation among Syriacs in Sweden amid concerns over the future of the rule of law and the state’s ability to protect people and prosecute crimes.

“We expect some fucking civil war between different groups unless someone puts their foot down. The people who did terrible acts in the Middle East, they are here now… and no one seems to care”, the spokesperson concluded.

Syriac churches in Sweden have witnessed a series of bomb and arson attacks, such as the Saint Afrem church in Södertälje and the Saint Mary church in Norrköping.

The incidents have caused strong reactions in the Syriac circles. While some argued that the time was ripe to leave Sweden if the state is unable to protect all its citizens, others suggested to get “a police force of our own” in the comments.

Tucker: Dem Candidates Are Sabotaging Their Own Chances to Defeat Trump

Even though Trump is failing to fulfill his key campaign promises Democrats are going so off the deep end they could actually end up securing his reelection.

As Tucker Carlson highlighted in his monologue on Tuesday night, Democrats like Bernie Sanders are now endorsing allowing convicted felons to vote from behind bars.

Asked whether “convicted sex offenders” and people “on death row” like Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev should be allowed to vote, Sen. Kamala Harris told CNN’s Don Lemon, “I think we should have that conversation.”

Tucker noted how such a rule could allow the inmates in maximum security Angola State Prison in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana to be the “single largest bloc of voters in the area” and said once Bernie Sanders is president “they’ll be allowed to elect the City Council and Sheriff, maybe the Warden too.”

TWITTER SHADOW BANS MICHAEL SAVAGE FOR QUESTIONING NOTRE DAME FIRE NARRATIVE

Twitter Shadow Bans Michael Savage For Questioning Notre Dame Fire Narrative

Conservative host “may join the rebels in the shadows”.

Steve Watson | Infowars.com – APRIL 25, 2019

Michael Savage believes that Islamist terrorists may have been behind the Notre Dame blaze, and he is being vocal about it. In response, Twitter has reportedly moved to shadow ban Savage to stop his opinion spreading.

Savage’s reasoning is that terrorists attempted to set the cathedral on fire as recently as 2016, in addition to the fact that hundreds of churches in France have been desecrated over the past year.

Screen Shot 2019-04-25 at 10.53.35 AM

Savage found that after he expressed that opinion, Twitter stopped a lot of other users from seeing his posts.

“It became apparent Sunday after being temporarily blocked last week following the burning of Notre Dame, that now he may join the rebels in the shadows,” wrote Amanda Metzger, who works for Savage on his website.

“Some followers who used to receive notifications of his tweets on their smartphones no longer received them,” she added.

Metzger also noted that Savage “suddenly found his Periscope live broadcast was limited in the number of viewers.” (Periscope is owned by Twitter).

Infowars’ Alex Jones is still permanently banned from Twitter. No explanation was ever given, other than the vague suggestion that Jones ‘violated’ T&C’s.

It appears Savage now finds himself in the Twitter sin bin along with Jones and many others.

“Who is in the shadows deciding who is heard and who is silenced? Someone in a dark room behind a bright screen in a foreign country with no First Amendment?” Metzger asked, adding “maybe it’s an American trying to create a safe space online.”

“I can’t think of anything less safe – anything more damaging – than limiting the exchange of ideas,” she continued. “We’re in a dangerous place when we’ve forgotten the phrase, ‘I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.’”

“We are getting closer to the point where federal regulation of social media is inevitable. The airwaves are regulated. In this case, my plea is that there is some transparency in who is banned, blocked or deplatformed and why,” Metzger urged, adding “I would prefer no one find themselves silenced by another.”

“Maybe you don’t care who was deplatformed last year. You didn’t agree with them anyway and seeing their tweets and posts ruined your day,” Metzger concluded. “But if you don’t stand up for them now, they won’t have a voice to come to your defense when you are silenced.”

In related news, it appears that Twitter is planning to allow users to report tweets that they believe are an attempt to ‘mislead’ people at election time.

What could go wrong there?

In a blog post regarding the change, Twitter declared that “Any attempts to undermine the process of registering to vote or engaging in the electoral process is contrary to our company’s core values.”

The move appears to be an effort on behalf of Twitter to adhere to the EU ‘Code of Practice against disinformation’ which Facebook and Google have also signed up to.

‘Fat Sex Therapist’ compares fitness to Nazism, dieting to rape

Screen Shot 2019-04-25 at 10.33.50 AM

Fatness is health, dieting is sexual assault, and fitness is a white supremacist Nazi science

– so stated a self-described ‘Fat Sex Therapist” at a college talk. Commenters were shocked, but the anti-fitness backlash is growing.

Sonalee Rashatwar, the therapist in question, delivered her polemic in a two-hour lecture at St. Olaf College, Minnesota last week. Puzzlingly, the lecture was hosted by the university’s Wellness Center, in conjunction with the Women’s and Gender Studies Department.

“I truly believe that a child cannot consent to being on a diet the same way a child cannot consent to having sex,”she declared, adding: “I experience diet culture as a form of assault because it impacts the way that I experience my body.”

welcome to 57k, cats and kittens! . hiya, i’m sonalee – a non binary (aka not a lady or woman) queer bisexual social worker and sex therapist based in philly, specialized in treating sexual trauma and body image issues while using anti oppression & anti (intentional weight loss) diet lenses 🥨 i’m an activist therapist and the therapist for activists 😘 check out my website (link in bio) for more info! . thanks for the follow! for all you new folks, every few k i write an intro post 🙂 . this is a photo of me by @aisha_usman at red lobster last week after i had a therapy breakthrough and decided to finally allow myself to have the haircut i really wanted . for this 57k here is a list of nice & not nice things i said to myself at the salon while i watched my hair get buzzed off: – wow my friends were right to push me to pay more than $15 for a haircut, this dude knows what he’s doing – my mom is going to hate this – what if my face looks EVEN FATTER than it is when i cut it so short – that’s stupid, sonalee. you’re fat face is not going to miraculously look fatter – people can already see EXACTLY how fat my face is with or without the hair covering me – i will not hide behind my hair, i am not afraid of fatphobic judgment. that happens already anyway – but why am i hesitant to part w this big feminine gender marker? what is holding me back from playing w gender in this fun way? – it’s just hair it’ll grow back – my cousin’s wedding is in two months, my fam is gonna freak out at how gay i look – omg i love how much i look like a boy! – my mother cannot have my hair. i get to have control over my body and what it looks like. her words from the last time i buzzed my hair cannot control me – treat yourself like a capable adult who makes smart decisions, sonalee. trust yourself! – i feel so sexy w this haircut wow – now that my hair doesn’t feel so feminine, i can play w feminine accessories like jewelry, makeup, and manicures – i rly rly love this new haircut – this feels gender affirming & hopefully will attract some new romance ☺️❤️ . welcome ☺️ introduce yourself. how did you find me? have you struggled with shedding the control someone else had over your body?

A post shared by Sonalee (she/they) LCSW MEd (@thefatsextherapist) on

While the overwhelming medical consensus recognizes obesity as a cause of diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, strokes, and premature death, Rashatwar joins a growing number of ‘fat acceptance’ and ‘health at every size’ activists who argue otherwise. Science, she told the crowd, is a white supremacist tool designed to oppress the obese.

“We should be critical of the use of science and the production of knowledge to continue promoting this idea that certain bodies are fit, able, and desirable… is it my fatness that causes my high blood pressure, or is it my experience of weight stigma?” Rashatwar, who uses the gender-neutral ‘they/them’ pronouns, asked.

“Fatphobic” science is “often actually eugenic science… eugenic science is Nazi science,” she continued.

https://www.rt.com/usa/457529-fat-sex-therapist-nazi/

After denying the link between obesity and high blood pressure, Rashatwar attempted to link Christchurch mosque slayer Brenton Tarrant’s murder spree with his love for physical fitness.

“I do not think it’s surprising that the man who shot up Christchurch, New Zealand was also a fitness instructor,” the self-described “Donut Queen” said. She argued that the shooting was “a clear communication that there’s still an idealized body. Nazis really love this idea of an idealized body, and so it makes a lot of sense to me that a fitness instructor… might also think about an idealized body in this thin white supremacist way.”

Rashatwar’s woke speech generated some attention on Twitter, mostly negative. “This is what the death of a civilization sounds like,” one commenter wrote.

Screen Shot 2019-04-25 at 10.37.35 AM

Rashatwar’s intersectional rambling was not a once-off event at a stereotypically liberal university. Rather, it came as part of a 12-date nationwide speaking tour, during which she dissects issues like “How Fat Queers the Body,”and “Health is a Social Construct.” She is also a licensed therapist.

‘Fat acceptance’ is a movement becoming more prevalent in academia. Last year, nutritionist Linda Bacon, author of ‘Health at Every Size’, was a featured speaker at Baltimore’s prestigious John Hopkins University. Bacon spoke out against diet culture and ‘fatphobia,’ at the same university that hosts the Global Obesity Prevention Center.

‘Ungrateful’: Fox host Tucker Carlson claims Ilhan Omar is ‘attacking country that took her in’

CAP

Fox News host Tucker Carlson lashed out at Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar for being “ungrateful” and accused her of “spending her life attacking this country” in light of an old tweet by the congresswoman about US action in Somalia.

Carlson’s outburst was in reference to a resurfaced tweet of Omar’s from 2017 in which she noted the high number of Somalis killed by US forces during the 1993 battle in Mogadishu.

Eighteen US soldiers and hundreds of Somalis were killed in the botched US-led, but UN-backed, operation to capture allies of a Somali military commander. Two US helicopters were shot down and footage of dead American soldiers being dragged through the streets resulted in a huge public backlash against US involvement, and saw US troops withdrawn from Somalia months later.

Omar fled Somalia as a child and spent four years in a Kenyan refugee camp before gaining entry to the US in 1992.

Carlson accused the congresswoman – who by the time of the disastrous operation in Mogadishu had already fled her home country – of being ungrateful to the US troops who he claimed saved 100,000 Somalis.

“Here’s someone who was brought to the United States at public expense simply because we’re a kind country that accepts a lot of refugees,” Carlson said.

“And rather than being grateful for that, she’s spent the rest of her life attacking this country. Why?,” Carlson asked Kyle Lame, a retired sergeant major who fought in the Mogadishu battle.

“As they would say down here in Tennessee, ‘Bless her heart’, responded Lame. “We want her to understand she’s living large now because of her family being able to escape the atrocities of Mogadishu.”
