A 19-year-old member of the Satan Disciples street gang has been accused of fatally shooting a man walking his dogs in Back of the Yards after mistaking his target for a member of the Latin Saints.

Hector Aguirre faces a charge of first-degree murder in the death of 25-year-old Jamil Al Shaubi, who had no gang affiliation, but happened to be walking in Latin Saints territory on Dec. 26, 2016, Cook County prosecutors said at a hearing last week.

The shooting is believed to be retaliation for a Satan Disciples member killed by the Latin Saints earlier that month, according to prosecutors.

Aguirre, believing Shaubi was a Latin Saints member, got out of a stolen Jeep Commander as Shaubi walked with two dogs in the 4400 block of South Hermitage; Aguirre then fired 16 shots with an assault-style rifle, prosecutors said at the hearing Thursday.

Shaubi was struck three times, including in his chest; one dog also was killed, prosecutors said.

After the shooting, captured by video surveillance, Aguirre got back in the Jeep and fled. The SUV was found burning an hour later in the 5100 block of South Hoyne.

In addition to the surveillance footage, a witness identified Aguirre as the gunman and another witness allegedly heard Aguirre talk about shooting a man with his dogs in front of a convenience store in the block.

Prosecutors said the rifle used in the shooting had been recovered from the home of another Satan Disciples member, who is believed to have driven the Jeep the night of the shooting.

At the time he was charged with Shaubi’s murder, Aguirre was serving a 10-year sentence at the downstate Pickneyville Correctional Center for aggravated battery with a firearm in a separate shooting he was found guilty of last year, according to prosecutors and state records.

Judge Susana Ortiz denied Aguirre bail at the hearing on the new charge and scheduled his next court date for Aug. 13.

(BALTIMORE, CHICAGO BEAT YOU AGAIN!) – Weekend Shootings Roundup: 8 killed, 40 hurt in weekend gun violence across Chicago

Two women were killed in a triple shooting in Gresham, and a 12-year-old girl was among three people who were shot on a porch in Englewood.

At least 48 people were shot — eight fatally — in incidents of gun violence within city limits over the weekend.

Shootings escalated as the weekend went on: Nine people were wounded Friday after 5 p.m., 15 were shot Saturday and Sunday saw 24 people shot.

On Sunday, a 3-year-old boy died from what Chicago police said may be an accidental gunshot wound in South Deering.

Family members told police they were in another room in the 9600 block of South Escanaba when they heard a gunshot at about 4:15 p.m., CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said. They rushed to see what happened and found the boy with the gun. He suffered a gunshot wound to the face, police said.

Family members took the boy to Trinity Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Guglielmi said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t provided details about his death.

The Department of Children and Family Services has been called in to assist police investigations, Guglielmi said.

The weekend’s latest fatal gun violence incident happened a few hours earlier in Lawndale on the West Side.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert about 4:59 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Douglas Boulevard, police said. There, they found a 24-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, including to his face and head.

He was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

On Saturday, another man was found shot to death a few blocks away in the same neighborhood.

About 8:20 p.m., Curtis Davis was sitting in a vehicle in the 4000 block of West Grenshaw Street when he was shot in the back of the head, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A few hours earlier, a man was discovered fatally wounded in a home in Park Manor on the South Side.

Officers found Eric Hamilton Jr., 29, inside the home about 2:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Wabash Avenue with a gunshot wound to his forehead, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Just after dawn, a man was killed in University Village on the South Side near the University of Illinois at Chicago campus.

Officers responded to a call of a person shot about 7:10 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Blue Island Avenue and found a man who had been struck multiple times, Chicago police said.

The man, who was thought to be between 18 and 20 years old, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office did not immediately provide details about the fatality.

About three hours earlier, a man was shot and killed in Englewood on the South Side.

Officers responded about 4:07 a.m. to the 5600 block of South Loomis Boulevard for a call of shots fired and found Robert Scott, 32, with a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

On Friday, a man was fatally gunned down in Austin on the West Side.

Desmond Curry, 28, was standing next to a vehicle about 11:38 p.m. in the 700 block of North Waller Avenue when an unknown number of males approached him on foot and opened fire, police and the medical examiner’s office said. He was hit multiple times in the body.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he later died, police said.

Another man, 30, was also struck by gunfire, police said. He was walking on the sidewalk when shots rang out and was hit in the back. He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center where his condition was stabilized.

Earlier, two women were killed and a man was wounded in a triple shooting in Gresham on the South Side.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert about 10 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Stewart Avenue and found the women suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

Chantell Grant, 26, and 35-year-old Andrea Stoudemire were struck in the chest and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where they were pronounced dead, authorities said.

A man, 30, was hit in the arm and took himself to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.

There were no reported shootings Monday morning before 5 a.m.

At least 30 others were hurt in gun violence incidents over the weekend across Chicago.

Last weekend, shootings left three dead and 40 others wounded.

ERICA THOMAS HATE HOAX IMPLODES: WITNESS CLAIMS STATE REP. TOLD MAN “GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM” — NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!

Erica Thomas Hate Hoax Implodes: Witness Claims State Rep. Told Man “Go Back Where You Came From” -- Not The Other Way Around!

Democrat state rep’s narrative crumbles as more witnesses come forward

By Adan Salazar

A witness at the Publix supermarket where State Rep. Erica Thomas (D-Ga.) claims she experienced racism says she heard Thomas use the words “Go back where you came from,” but did not hear those words stated by the man Thomas is accusing.

A brief re-cap: Last week, Georgia lawmaker Erica Thomas filmed a video after claiming she was involved in a racist supermarket dispute at the Publix 10-item-or-less checkout line where she was confronted by shopper Eric Sparkes. Thomas says Sparkes allegedly told her to “Go back where you came from,” but she later retracted that claim, saying he said something along those lines.

Now a witness working at the store has told the Cobb County police the exact opposite happened – that she instead heard Thomas telling Sparkes to “Go back where you came from!” according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“A Publix employee told a Cobb County officer that she witnessed part of the conversation and heard Thomas ‘continuously tell Eric Sparkes to “Go back where you came from!”’ but did not hear Sparkes utter those words to Thomas,” the Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.

Sparkes admits he did indeed use profanity when confronting Thomas, calling her a “selfish little (expletive)” after she brought too many items into the express lane, but has denied telling her to “go back,” asserting he identifies as a Democrat also happens to be Hispanic.

In her initial video, which sparked the controversy, Thomas claimed she was confronted by a racist white man who used language similar to that used by President Trump in a recent tweet.

“This white man comes up to me and says, ‘You lazy son of (expletive). You need to go back where you came from,’” Thomas claimed, as she cried. “Sir, you don’t even know me. I’m not lazy. I’m nine months pregnant.”

Thomas later walked back those statements in an interview with local media: “He said, you know, ‘Go back,’ those types of words. I don’t wanna say he said, ‘Go back to your country,’ or ‘Go back to where you came from,’ but he was making those types of references.”

In the same interview she admitted she told Sparkes to “go back.”

Sparkes, who is of Cuban descent, has maintained Thomas was lying from the start and that he never told her to “Go back.”

“Her words stating on Twitter, and her video, stating I told her she needs to go back where she came from are untrue,” he said.

The incident has resurrected raw sentiments surrounding the Chicago hate hoax perpetrated by Empire actor Jussie Smollett, of whom Thomas was evidently a big fan.

A Democrat State Rep From Chicago Wants Residents To Arm Themselves

By Jose Nino

Democrat State Representative La Shawn Ford wants people in his neighborhood in Chicago to acquire more concealed carry licenses.

In 2019, Ford ran for mayor. Ammoland notes that Ford “favors more tax money going to Chicago from the State of Illinois, and from the Federal government. He thinks there are plenty of police in Chicago, and they should have more controls on what they do.”

However, the state rep is having a change of heart on the gun issue. On WLS-AM 890, Ford told the Mancow Show that he is encouraging his constituents to arm themselves in the face of Chicago’s growing violence. Ford specifically said:

“I think about it all the time,” Ford said of the shootings that plague his community. “That’s why I’m working with a concealed carry instructor and we’re going to go through the neighborhood and we’re going to encourage people to get their concealed carry license because it makes no sense for people not to have the protections that they need.”

Urban centers may be witnessing a cultural shift on gun control. Information from gun researcher John Lott and activism from groups such as Black Guns Matter are changing the discussion on gun policy. Historically, blacks have been prevented from exercising their right to bear arms through laws such as the Black Codes and Jim Crow in the South.

Now, thanks to increased gun liberalization at the state level, blacks are now applying for and obtaining concealed carry permits in record numbers.

Illinois has played a special role in the battle to restore gun rights in America. After all, it was in McDonald v. City of Chicago, where the Second Amendment was incorporated at the state and local level. From there, all levels of government—federal, state, and local—had to respect this right. The plaintiff involved in this case was Otis McDonald, a black resident of Chicago.

This call by Ford represents a small, yet important step in changing the conversation in urban centers across America. For too long, gun control policies have rendered countless law-abiding minorities defenseless against crimes. It’s promising that a Democratic politician and former mayoral candidate recognizes the value of concealed carry.

Let’s hope this leads to a reform of Illinois’s gun laws.

Hawkins: Democrats Mum as Bodies Stack up in Gun-Controlled Chicago

CAP

By Awr Hawkins

Democrats who lined up to push gun control after the shootings in Virginia Beach, Tree of Life Synagogue, and Parkland, remain conspicuously silent as 40-plus individuals are shot weekend after weekend in Chicago.

To be clear, the lost lives at Virginia Beach (12 killed), the Tree of Life Synagogue (11 killed), and Parkland (17 killed), are not to be downplayed in any way. Yet they also ought not be exploited. Nevertheless, Democrats line up for camera and microphone time after these attacks–or go on a Twitter binge–in hopes of using the events to push even more gun control.

CAP

These same Democrats remain almost unanimously mum as gun control fails to curb the mayhem and bloodshed in Chicago. Even thought he death numbers in Chicago are without equal.

Think about it–The Chicago Tribune reported 437 murders in Chicago in 2011, 506 in 2012, 420 in 2013, 416 in 2014, and 468 in 2015. Breitbart News reported 800 fatalities from shootings in 2016. And the devil is in the details, as there were nearly 4,400 shootings — fatal and non-fatal combined — in gun-controlled Chicago during 2016.

And consider the more recent past. At least 56 were shot, four fatally, in gun-controlled Chicago during the weekend of June 28–30, 2019. Breitbart News reported that at least 66 were shot, five killed, over Fourth of July Weekend 2019. And at least 41 were shot, nine fatally, over the weekend of July 12-14, 2019.

Gun control is inhumane. And ignoring the failures of gun control in Chicago, while trying to exploit other attacks around the country for the purposes of more gun laws, is beyond the pale.

(HOOD RAT AT WORK) – Chicago Mayor Blocks ICE from Police Database Before Raids

Screen Shot 2019-07-12 at 11.27.21 AM

By Joshua Caplan

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) said Wednesday that the Windy City has made moves to bar Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from accessing its police databases amid reports of potential raids in more than 10 major U.S. cities slated for Sunday.

“They will not team up with ICE to detain any resident. We have also cut off ICE access from any CPD databases and that will remain permanent,” Lightfoot said. “Chicago is and will always be a welcoming city that will never tolerate ICE tearing our families apart.”

Screen Shot 2019-07-12 at 11.30.16 AM

In a statement to the Chicago Tribune, police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the city’s Citizen and Law Enforcement Analysis and Reporting (CLEAR) database will not be available to ICE officials, though several federal government agencies will still have access.

“All other federal agencies still have access to these systems, as sharing this information is crucial to active criminal investigations in which we are partnering with federal agencies along with intelligence sharing functions that are vital to national homeland security functions,” Guglielmi stated.

Appearing Sunday on CBS News, Ken Cuccinelli, Acting U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director said ICE is prepared to remove approximately one million illegal aliens with final orders for deportation. “[ICE agents are] ready to just perform their mission which is to go and find and detain and then deport the approximately one million people who have final removal orders,” he said“They’ve been all the way through the due process and have final removal orders. Who among those will be targeted for this particular effort or not is really just information kept within ICE.”

Sunday’s expected raid will target at least 2,000 illegal residents.

Last month, President Donald Trump called off planned raids to deport roughly 2,000 illegal aliens with final deportation orders after details of the operation were leaked to the Washington Post.

Thomas Homan, the former Director of ICE, suggested Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan was responsible for the leak, which prompted the operation’s delay.

A Harvard/Harris survey shows a majority of Americans back plans to deport illegal aliens if Congress fails to act. More than 8-in-10 Republican voters support the move, while and more than 5-in-10 swing voters agree with it.

Bernie Sanders Campaign Uses E-mail List to Warn of ICE Raids

On Saturday, just hours before ICE raids were set to begin, socialist presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders’ campaign used their e-mail network to warn supporters.

“ICE raids targeting 10 cities start Sunday. Know your rights,” the subject read. Appended to the e-mail were two graphics — one in English, the other Spanish — describing immigrant rights via guidance by the American Civil Liberties Union.

“It’s not strictly on point when it comes to building out a presidential campaign [to use campaign data] for the purpose other than running for president,” Ruthie Epstein, the ACLU deputy director of immigration policy, said. She reportedly claimed that the organization “played no role” in the e-mail alert.

The e-mail came from Sanders’ Press Secretary Belén Sisa, an undocumented immigrant through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. According to Vox, it read:

Multiple news outlets are reporting that Immigration and Customs Enforcement is planning deportation raids against immigrant families in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, and San Francisco starting early Sunday morning.

Whether or not you are an immigrant, please share this “Know Your Rights” information widely to help those who might fall victim to the cruel and inhumane policies of the Trump administration.

Sisa stood by her actions. “It is no longer enough to talk about issues like immigration, but we must take real action to fight back and protect our undocumented community, like we did on Saturday,” she told Vox. “There isn’t much else that anybody can do other than stand up in unity.”

And Sanders has pivoted hard into this issue for his 2020 campaign, though he has deliberately stopped short of advocating for open borders. “What we need is comprehensive immigration reform,” Sanders said at a town hall in Iowa.

“If you open the borders, my God, there’s a lot of poverty in this world, and you’re going to have people from all over the world,” he continued. “And I don’t think that’s something that we can do at this point. Can’t do it. So that is not my position.”

Cocktail Bar Worker Spits on Eric Trump in Chicago

Secret Service took a cocktail bar employee into custody after he spat at Eric Trump.

By Richard Moorhead

Eric Trump, the President’s oldest son, was spat on by a bar worker during a visit to the city of Chicago on Tuesday night.

Trump was patronizing an establishment called ‘The Aviary’ where he was attacked by an employee of the business.

Sources describe the event as a young woman approaching Trump, expressing anti-Trump political sentiment, and spitting at him. Secret Service took action and detained the woman, and it’s said that she was later released without being charged with a crime.

Chicago Police were seen on the scene shortly after the incident.

Screen Shot 2019-06-26 at 10.44.11 AM

In a statement to Breitbart News, Eric Trump described the incident as an example of the left’s political intolerance and blatant hostility to those who disagree with their vision for society.

“It was purely a disgusting act by somebody who clearly has emotional problems. For a party that preaches tolerance, this once again demonstrates they have very little civility. When somebody is sick enough to resort to spitting on someone, it just emphasizes a sickness and desperation and the fact that we’re winning.”

The perpetrator of the lowball and profane attack is yet to be named, and will perhaps remain anonymous, since criminal charges don’t appear to being pending. Eric Trump was described as declining to press charges against the woman who spat in his face.

The left will settle at nothing to create a potent environment of hostility for those who stand in the way of their dream of total societal and cultural control.

Cops release bodycam footage of actor Jussie Smollett in noose after ‘attack’ (VIDEO)

Screen Shot 2019-06-25 at 11.13.42 AM

The Chicago Police Department has released body cam footage from the morning after Jussie Smollett’s alleged attack, showing the actor still wearing a noose around his neck which he claimed was used in the assault.

The footage was filmed in the ex-Empire actor’s Chicago home back in January at 8:45am local time, some seven hours after he was allegedly subjected to a racist and homophoic attack in a nearby street.

The bodycam captured the officers entering the home and speaking to Frank Gatson, who introduces himself as the actor’s “creative director,” while Smollett can be seen wearing a thin white rope around his neck.

“Do you want to take it off or anything?,” the police officer asks, referring to the noose. Smollet replies: “Yeah I do, I just wanted you to see it.” The officers are asked to switch off their cameras shortly after.

The video is part of hundreds of files released by the Chicago PD after a judge ordered a special prosecutor to examine the handling of Smollett’s accusation. The actor could face a fresh criminal prosecution for his role in the saga, depending upon the outcome of the investigation.

Smollett claimed he was randomly attacked, punched, and doused in bleach by two masked men who he claimed made reference to President Donald Trump’s slogan ‘Make America Great Again.’

The incident sparked widespread outcry amongst the LGBTQ community, African-Americans, and some Democratsas well as the Hollywood elite. However, two weeks later the tables turned when two brothers, Abel and Ola Osundairo, arrested for carrying out the attack, said the entire thing was orchestrated and paid for by Smollett.

Three weeks after the ‘attack’ Smollett himself was arrested and charged with filing a false police report. At the time Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said Smollett “took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career.”

A month later the episode took yet another unexpected turn when all charges against the then-fired actor were unceremoniouslydropped in lieu of forfeiting his $10,000 bond and carrying out community service.

Smollett continued to maintain his innocence, but the drama didn’t end there. In March, Chicago Police ordered him to pay $130,000 to cover the cost of investigating the case. When Smollett refused, the amount was tripled in a lawsuit filed by the city in April. Smollett’s legal team is also facing litigation, this time from the Osundairo brothers, who claim their reputation was damaged in the melee.
