French Journalist: Two Churches in France Are Vandalized EVERY DAY and No One Gives a F*ck

“This government, this regime….including the Pope, including the cardinals, shut their mouth, say nothing”

 | Infowars.com – APRIL 17, 2019

French journalist Maxime Lepante warns that France’s history is “in the process of burning down” as a result of two churches being vandalized every day and that political and religious leaders don’t “give a f*ck.”

Lepante highlighted recently released statistics that show there were 1062 anti-Christian acts in 2018, compared to just 100 anti-Muslim acts. Throughout 2018, no less than 875 churches in France were targeted.

“Two churches were vandalized per day,” said Lepante, adding, “This government, this regime….including the Pope, including the cardinals, shut their mouth, say nothing when our churches are being vandalized, and in contrast, the minute there is a mosque that has a pot of pork sausage in front of it, there’s immediately arrest and prison for the person who did it….apologies from the whole of France, the stigmatization of racism and so on, it’s an absolutely unbearable double standard!”

Lepante then pointed out that the Notre Dame cathedral was vandalized a few years ago by feminist protesters who sprayed urine everywhere and that the left’s response was to laugh while the perpetrators were acquitted.

The journalist then cited the story of how a Pakistani migrant who had only been in the country two months caused “extensive damage” to the Basilica of Saint-Denis in Paris.

“I would like to remind you that in the week March 12th-19th, twelve French churches were vandalized,” said Lepante, before citing several examples of how leading leftist figures in France have openly called for the destruction of Paris’ historical buildings and monuments and how political leaders don’t “give a f*ck” about the situation.

“The situation is grave, the situation is scandalous, it’s the pride of our history that is in the process of burning down,” said Lepante.

LOU DOBBS: IT WAS A ‘POLITICAL DECISION’ TO RULE OUT ARSON IN NOTRE DAME BLAZE

“A political decision rather than one based on careful investigation of the facts.”

Steve Watson | Infowars.com – APRIL 17, 2019

Veteran broadcaster Lou Dobbs noted Tuesday that the decision to dismiss any notion that the Notre Dame fire could have been a deliberate act was based on politics, rather than any investigation of the facts.

“One thing authorities are ruling out, however, within just a matter of hours, arson,” Dobbs stated.

“That was a decision made within hours. It sounds like a different kind of decision,”Dobbs added.

“Perhaps a political decision rather than one based on careful investigation of the facts.” he further told viewers.

Dobbs cited the enormous amount of attacks on Catholic churches in France last year alone as a reason why it is entirely valid for anyone to wonder if the Notre Dame fire was set deliberately.

“Perhaps overlooked since yesterday is 875 Catholic churches in France were vandalized in 2018 — 875! In a single week last month, 12 churches were vandalized, including a fire deliberately set at a church also located in Paris.” Dobbs urged.

“This is context, this is not speculation, this is the situation right now in France and the recent history of what has happened to Catholic churches throughout the nation.” he added.

“Ignored too often by some covering the tragedy, some who have ruled out ‘speculation’ about the cause of the Notre Dame fire as they speculate — taking it as gospel that arson was not the cause.” Dobbs noted.

While many actually celebrated the fire, news networks declared it was a made up conspiracy theory that anyone was happy Notre Dame was burning.

Networks, including Fox News, actively shut down anyone who dared even suggest that arson should be looked into.

Two Fox Hosts End Interviews When Guests Bring Up Pattern of Church Fires in France

Fox News stopped two guests from vocalizing a very real pattern of church destruction in France.

By Peter D’Abrosca

Two separate Fox News hosts inexplicably ended interviews with guests who brought up the fact that there has been a pattern of church fires in France.

“You need to know that for the past year we’ve had churches desecrated each and every week in France – all over France,” French politician Philippe Kersenty told Fox’s Shep Smith. “The politically correct will try to tell you this is an accident – ”

Smith interrupted.

“Sir, sir, sir – we’re not going to speculate here of the cause of something that we don’t know,” he said. “If you have observations, or you know something, we would love to hear it.”

Kersenty attempted to proceed with his observations, but Smith hung up on him.

Later, host Neil Cavuto did the same to his own guest.

“Well, Neil, if it is an accident it’s a monumental tragedy,” said Catholic League President Bill Donohue. “Just last month a 17th Century church was set on fire in Paris. We’ve seen tabernacles knocked down, crosses have been knocked down. Statues have been – ”

Donahue, too, was interrupted.

“Bill, we don’t know that,” Cavuto said. “We don’t know.”

Cavuto filibustered for a whole minute before letting Donahue speak again.

“I’m sorry, I mean when I find out the eucharist is being destroyed and human excrement is being smeared on crosses – this is going on now – ” Donohue said.

Cavuto interrupted again.

“Wait a minute, Bill, wait a minute,” Cavuto said. “I love you, Bill, but we cannot make conjectures about this.”

He then hung up on Donahue.

Neither guest suggested the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral was set intentionally. They both simply noted a pattern of the destruction of churches in France.

Earlier Monday, Big League Politics reported on the reality that 10 churches in France were attacked in a single week:

In February 10 churches in France were attacked in one week, causing some to fear increasing religious tensions in the migrant-friendly country.

The attacks, allegedly sponsored by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, saw 5 churches vandalized, attacked, or damaged in a one week span.

Roman Catholic publication La Croix International first reported that four churches were vandalized in a week period in February. The first church to be vandalized was in Houilles, France on February 4 at the church of St. Nicholas, where a statue of Mary was found broken into pieces.

Why would Fox News stop its guests from addressing this reality on air?

CNN commentator calls Trump ‘antithesis of Christ’s teachings’, faces social media retribution

Democratic strategist Maria Cardona went after White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders about “election interference” of a much higher order, arguing over God’s plans for Donald Trump.

CNN’s OutFront became the unlikely platform for a debate on divine will on Wednesday, when guests were asked to discuss Sarah Sander’s stated belief that God himself had chosen Trump to become president.

Cardona was not happy with Sanders’ interpretation of God’s design, responding that if Trump’s victory was preordained, “it is because he wanted to punish us for taking our democracy for granted, and for not ensuring that every person got out there to vote.”

Despite having personally chosen to work on Hillary Clinton’s campaign, Cardona was unable to figure out why God would choose someone “who doesn’t understand the words truth, honesty, integrity, honor, forgiveness.”

“I could go on and on about how this president is actually the antithesis of Jesus Christ’s teachings and anything that real Christians […] would believe in,” she continued.

Commentators were quick to criticize her authority in making such a statement. While Cardona describes herself as a Catholic, her liberal positions on abortion rights, gay marriage and divorce are not exactly in keeping with the religious canon.

While many who engaged in the debate agreed that a “higher power” had influenced the elections, not everyone thought that power was other-wordly.

Cardona quickly hit back against her “hypocritical” haters, even dropping some paraphrased bible quotes to get her point across.

Cardona is not the first to try to defeat Sanders on her own terms. Just last week, Democratic rising star Ocasio-Cortez quoted the bible in the course of an argument with the press secretary about the role of humanity in combating climate change.

VATICAN SUSPENDS VOTE ON COMMISSION TO HOLD PEDOPHILE PRIESTS ACCOUNTABLE

Vatican Suspends Vote on Commission to Hold Pedophile Priests Accountable

US Conference of Catholic Bishops delays vote pending Vatican approval

 | Infowars.com – NOVEMBER 12, 2018

The Vatican stepped in to prevent a vote at a US bishops’ conference Monday which could have led to the formation of a commission to hold bishops accountable for child sex abuse crimes.

A second action item up for vote at the 2018 US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), held in Baltimore, may have spurred the creation of a code of ethical conduct for bishops.

“At the insistence of the Holy See, we will not be voting on the two action items in our docket regarding the abuse crisis,” USCCB President Cdl. Daniel DiNardo said in a surprise announcement.

“We have accepted with disappointment this particular event that took place this morning,” DiNardo said, calling the order “a bump in the road.”

“We have not lessened in any of our resolve for actions,” DiNardo added.

The Vatican’s decision was met with apprehension by reporters, who asked how followers could continue to trust the institution.

“They watch us in action in bearing fruit…You also do look to what’s happened to this issue over the past 17 or 18 years,” DiNardo answered. “Remember, the Dallas Charter is not completed yet because the bishops weren’t always involved in the Dallas Charter,” which sought to tamp down rampant clerical sex abuse.

As highlighted by ChurchMilitant.com, the bishops were instrumental in the Dallas’ Charter’s creation, along with the help of disgraced former Cardinal Archbishop Theodore McCarrick:

Capture

“What they’ve said today is, we can’t do anything unless we get permission from this foreign government. To do what? To turn in sex offenders to the police?” Isely told the press Monday. “What do you need to fly over to Rome, to another country, to get permission to assure the American public that this organization is safe?”

While the vote was delayed, another bishop at the conference, Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago – “one of the Pope’s closest allies in the United States,” according to CNN – encouraged the USCCB to hold a discussion on the topic and take an informal vote, followed by another vote in March following the Vatican’s own meeting on the subject.

Pope Francis in late September called the deluge of clerical sex crimes, as well as divisions within the church, the work of Satan and asked Catholics to pray every day throughout the month of October.

“(The Church must be) saved from the attacks of the malign one, the great accuser and at the same time be made ever more aware of its guilt, its mistakes, and abuses committed in the present and the past,” Francis said.

Belgian Catholic church to broadcast Islamic call to prayer during ‘concert of peace’

This Sunday a large cathedral in the Belgian city of Mechelen will broadcast the Islamic call to prayer, newspaper HLN reports.

The call to prayer, normally only heard in mosques, will be part of a large WW1 remembrance concert, the newspaper writes.

Five Belgian choirs with 180 singers will take part in the ceremony. “The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace” of British composer Karl Jenkins will be played.

The concert is announced also as a visual spectacle as there will be footage that was specially selected for the performance.

The Islamic call to prayer is part of the concert in the cathedral. “With this remembrance concert we want to make a universal call for peace, justice and humanity for everybody,” the organiser says.

Apart from the Islamic call to prayer, the Jewish Kaddisj will also be played in the Catholic church. All tickets for the concert have already been sold out.

ECHR twisted logic: You can insult Christian but not Muslim religion

ECHR twisted logic: You can insult Christian but not Muslim religion

By John Laughland

Two recent rulings by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) demonstrate not only that it’s a political and hypocritical organization. They also show the severe structural defects of human rights law in general.

On October 25, the ECHR found in favor of Austria and against a claimant, Frau S., who had been prosecuted for saying in 2008 that the Prophet Mohammed “was a pedophile” because he had married a six-year-old girl. The applicant had claimed that the criminal sentence she received violated her right to free speech, enshrined in Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The Court found against her and in favor of Austria, which had convicted her of inciting religious hatred.

On July 17, the same ECHR, by contrast, had found in favor of Russian applicants from the now famous ‘Pussy Riot’ band, and against the Russian state, which convicted them for having incited religious hatred by staging a performance of a ‘punk prayer’ in Moscow’s Christ the Savior cathedral in 2012. This case was considered under three different articles of the European Convention on Human Rights but it made two judgements under the same Article 10 which the judges later said could not protect Frau S. In the Pussy Riot case, the court found that the girls’ right to freedom of expression under Article 10 had been violated.

In other words, according to the Strasbourg court, you are allowed to insult the Christian religion but not the Muslim religion. It is difficult to think of a more obvious case of double standards than this. Worse, and as Gregor Puppinck of the European Centre of Law and Justice in Strasbourg has pointed out, it is clear that the court justified finding in favor of Austria, and against Frau S., purely out of fear of Muslims. In numerous paragraphs of the ruling, it defends Austria’s conviction of the woman in the name of the goal of protecting “religious peace.” This can mean nothing else other than that peace might be threatened by Muslims if Austrians insult the prophet of Islam. In other words, the court is failing in its primordial role, which is surely to uphold the right of speech against threats of violence against them.

The double standards are all the more shocking because Frau S. was discussing facts. The Austrian courts ruled that the fact that Mohammed had married a small girl, and consummated that marriage when the girl was nine, did not justify her calling him a pedophile. By contrast, there are no facts at issue in the Pussy Riot case, whose action in the cathedral was purely designed to shock. In other words, the intentionality of the Pussy Riot girls cannot be in doubt, whereas it requires a speculative leap about her motives to say that Frau S. was deliberately trying to incite hatred.

The upholding of the conviction of Frau S. is also in contradiction with another ruling by the ECHR, in this case concerning Lithuania. In January of this year, the court ruled in favor of a clothing company which had used irreverent images of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary to promote its sales. This too was defended in the name of freedom of speech under Article 10. So, the ECHR is prepared to protect blasphemous or offensive freedom of speech even if the goal is purely commercial and not political – but only if the offence is against Christians and not against Muslims.

These gross inconsistencies show the structural defects of human rights law. The European Convention on Human Rights is a series of generalized statements about what sort of rights people should enjoy. Because they are necessarily general statements, these “rights” only become law after a ruling by a judge in a particular case. Because the judge has only these general statements to go on, and not a specific legislative act, he or she can more or less decide the case according to his or her personal opinion. It is in the very nature of such “human rights” courts that they give grossly excessive power to judges.

In proper legal systems, the law consists of detailed national legislation and specific rulings (jurisprudence). The role of the judge is to apply the law as it is: he or she has no room for personal maneuver. By contrast, in human rights courts, as in the Supreme Court of the United States, it is effectively judges who make the law. This is a very bad state of affairs because it turns courts into political instruments and judges into politicians, as we see every time there is a new appointment to the US Supreme Court.

The situation in Strasbourg is worse than in the US because a large majority of the judges at the ECHR had never been judges before. They may have a law degree but they have usually never sat on a bench before going to Strasbourg. Very often, they have been government employees. This means that they come to the job without the very specific training and experience which all judges should have. Instead, they often approach their job with a political agenda: this was, for example, the case of a Belgian judge who became vice-president of the court and who took up her appointment with an avowed determination to implement progressive policies.

This is why the ECHR has been so easily hijacked by political progressives who have pushed through a raft of political issues which should be decided by national parliaments after public debate and in accordance with public opinion. A large number of practices which either did not exist, or which were illegal, when the Convention was drawn up in 1950 have now been enforced by the ECHR against national legislation – abortion; in vitro fertilization; pre-implantation screening (in a ruling which promulgates the right to eugenics by declaring the applicants’ “right to bring a child into the world which is not affected by the illness that they carry”); the right to practice violent sado-masochism; the right for transsexuals to marry; the right to surrogate motherhood; the right to suicide (under Article 8 on respect for private and family life); and conscientious objection to military service. In this last ruling, the ECHR judges specifically gave themselves the right to change the law by saying that “it should have a dynamic and evolutive approach.”

Three things are clear from this list. First, these sorts of rights are clearly not the core human rights which the authors of the European Convention in 1950 thought needed protecting against dictatorial states. They are instead modish lifestyle choices. Second, the fact that these social changes have been pushed through by the ECHR means that we live under a government of judges – unelected judges who make the law in place of elected legislatures. Third, if the ECHR continues along the same path it has adopted for decades, then Europe will effectively have a law forbidding blasphemy against Islam but not against Christianity. The Court will thereby have decisively betrayed its claim to be acting in the name of universal values. Under such circumstances, it should be closed down.
