‘I’m the boss’: Ocasio-Cortez slams climate plan critics, unleashes internet scorn

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has, once again, raised the ire of many online. This time the freshman congresswoman is being accused of arrogance for her dismissal of critics of the Green New Deal climate initiative she is spearheading.

The ambitious climate plan has attracted numerous detractors with many saying it is unrealistic and unachievable. Speaking at a Girls Who Code event in New York on Friday the 29-year-old hit back at those who shot down the deal, saying, until they come up with a plan of their own, she’s in charge.

“Like I just introduced Green New Deal two weeks ago and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried,” she said. “So people are like ‘oh it’s unrealistic, oh it’s vague, oh it doesn’t address this little, minute thing.’ And I’m like ‘you try! You do it. Cause you’re not. Cause you’re not.’”

Video footage of the remarks shows they sparked a gushing response in the room. Online, however, it has been a different story with those opposed to Ocasio-Cortez’s political views seizing the opportunity to attack the left wing politician.

Many accused the Democrat of being “entitled” and labelled her “arrogant” for describing herself as “the boss” only a few months into her congressional career.

Apparently undeterred by the backlash Ocasio-Cortez doubled down on her stance on Twitter, accusing critics of “shouting from the cheap seats.”

That message sparked a spate of responses containing graphs which appeared to show declining carbon dioxide emissions.

EPIC! McConnell to Set Up Vote on Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal, ‘Give Everybody an Opportunity to Go on Record’ (VIDEO)

Never underestimate Cocaine Mitch.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said on Tuesday that he will be setting up a vote on Ocasio-Cortez’s insanely radical Green New Deal.

There is no way Ocasio-Cortez’s radical plan will pass the Senate because it needs 60 votes, but Mitch McConnell is forcing Democrats, many of whom are running for president in 2020, to go on the record about something as radical as eliminating airplane travel — this vote would give the Republicans great fodder for the 2020 presidential election cycle.

“I’ve noted with great interest the Green New Deal. And we’re going to be voting on that in the Senate. Give everybody an opportunity to go on record and see how they feel about the Green New Deal,” McConnell told reporters on Tuesday.

Notice McConnell’s green tie and smirk as he trolls Senate Democrats on the radical Green New Deal.

Democrat darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez released information on the Democrat Party’s radical and lunatic Green New Deal last Thursday.

It was a complete disaster.

The Green New Deal is a Communist scam that included guaranteed income for Americans ‘unwilling to work.’

The 14-page Commie wishlist also included a plan to transition to all electric cars and completely eliminate airplane travel — because trains over the ocean is a genius idea!

The Democrats also want to get rid of cow flatulence — which means all cows would be eliminated.

Within hours, the Green New Deal was yanked from Ocasio-Cortez’s webpage.

President Trump mocked the Democrat-Green-New-Deal-clown-show last Saturday evening, calling the resolution, “Brilliant.”

BANKRUPT CALIFORNIA UTILITY SHEDDING MORE THAN $40 BILLION WORTH OF GREEN ENERGY CONTRACTS

By Tim Pearce

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) may shed more than $40 billion worth of power purchase agreements after the California utility was driven into bankruptcy by liabilities for sparking deadly wildfires, The Wall Street Journal reports.

PG&E wants the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in San Francisco to rule whether the company must honor $42 billion worth of contracts with about 350 different energy suppliers, mostly solar and wind plants.

The court’s decision could have a major impact on California’s renewable energy industry and power makeup. Many green energy suppliers only do business with PG&E, California’s largest utility. Shedding those contracts would likely drive those companies under and cripple California’s ability to meet energy goals set by the state government.

“A lot of companies are in that position, where PG&E is responsible for 100% of their revenues,” Credit Benchmark lead researcher David Carruthers told WSJ.

Former California Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation in September that mandated the state run on 100 percent green energy by 2045. It also bumped a previous target of 50 percent by 2030 to 60 percent. (RELATED: What Affect Will 100 Percent Green Energy Have On California’s Neighbors?)

The goals set by government officials were optimistic before PG&E filed for bankruptcy Tuesday. California’s grid operator has paid surrounding states on several occasions to take excess power off California’s grid caused by overproducing solar and wind farms.

The company’s plans to shed its losses to renewable energy suppliers may fail if the court rules that federal regulators, not the bankruptcy court, have the authority to deem whether such contracts still apply, according to WSJ.

PG&E filed bankruptcy as the “only viable option” to escape potentially $30 billion worth of liabilities for sparking major wildfires in 2017 and 2018. State investigators found the utility sparked a dozen major fires in 2017 through poorly maintained powerlines and equipment.

Wildfires in 2018 are still under investigation, including the Camp Fire that killed 86 people and all but destroyed the town of Paradise. The fire is the deadliest in state history.

DAVOS SEES RECORD NUMBER OF PRIVATE JETS AS ELITES DISCUSS CLIMATE CHANGE

Davos Sees Record Number of Private Jets As Elites Discuss Climate Change

Globalist leaders never practice what they preach

Infowars.com – JANUARY 23, 2019

Elites gathering at the annual Davos in Switzerland to discuss climate change used a record number of private jets to attend the confab.

According to figures by the Air Charter Service, over 1,500 private jets will fly to and from the World Economic Forum summit.

“There appears to be a trend towards larger aircraft, with expensive heavy jets the aircraft of choice, with Gulfstream GVs and Global Expresses both being used more than 100 times each last year,” said Andy Christie, private jets director at the Air Charter Service.

According to a 2008 Institute for Policy Studies report, “An hour of flying in a private jet burns as much fuel as an entire year of driving.”

“Four passengers flying in a private Cessna Citation X from Los Angeles to New York will each emit 8,892 pounds of CO2 into the atmosphere. This is more than five times as much CO2 emitted by a commercial air passenger making the same trip.”

The elites expect the common man to adhere to their climate change fantasies while they themselves continually violate them.

After receiving criticism for the poor optics of liberally using private jets to travel to lecture about climate change every year, the WEF did some damage control this year by tweeting out an article about how the elite confab is working to stem the use of private jets to their meetings.

Walls, Armed Guards Protect Davos Elite

The global elite meeting in Davos, Switzerland, are relying on walls and armed guards to protect them, hinting at their effectiveness; meanwhile, Democratic lawmakers refuse to fund President Trump’s proposed border wall.

World leaders are soon to meet behind walls and tight security at the World Economic Forum held annually in the Swiss Alps.

This, of course, begs the question: if walls don’t provide security, then why else are Democratic lawmakers refusing to fund President Trump’s proposed border wall as the government shutdown enters its 32nd day?

Last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelsoi (D-Calif.) tried to soften Democratic oppositionby pushing for a virtual, technological wall in lieu of a physical barrier requested by President Trump.
