Seven House ‘Republicans’ Vote for Nancy’s Plan to Reopen Government Without Wall Funding

By

Seven House Republicans voted with the new Democratic majority today to reopen the government without a paltry $5 billion in funding to start construction on a ‘big, beautiful’ border wall, in the midst of the ongoing battle between the White House and Democratic leaders.

Most Republican members of Congress stood firm on refusing to reopen the government without progress on Donald Trump’s signature campaign progress. The outgoing GOP House Majority had earlier designated around $5.7 billion dollars for the wall, placing the ball in the court of the Senate to get together and make a deal that would re-open the government. Nearly all Republicans have stood with the President in order to present a unified face in the struggle to finally safeguard the borders of the United States with a wall, but the seven dissenters in the House Republican Caucus today could pose a threat to the prospects of the President delivering on his promises.

The seven Republicans caving to the left on immigration were:

Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania
Will Hurd of Texas
John Katko of New York
Peter King of New York
Elise Stefanik of New York
Fred Upton of Michigan
Greg Walden of Oregon

The six-bill funding package reopens many elements of the United States government, such as the State and Justice Departments, in addition to the IRS and National Zoo.

The battle to deliver on the border security promised to the American people time and time again continues on. National Border Patrol Council leaders spoke at the White House Press Conference today, making the case for the necessity of the wall Senate Democrats refuse to compromise on very clear.

Sweden invests big in sentencing people who criticise migration: Convictions increase tenfold

By EMMA R. 3 January 2019

Head of online hate speech monitoring group “Näthatsgranskaren” Tomas Åberg receives tax funds for mass reporting pensioners and others who write critically about migration on Facebook.

And now he claims that his reports to the police have resulted in almost 150 hate speech convictions.

“1,218 police reports 2017-2018. 144 hate speech sentences, from 214 notifications. Many are waiting for prosecution!”, writes “Näthatsgranskaren” (The Online Hate Speech Monitor) on Twitter.

The group also states that its state-financed operations have led to a tenfold increase in the number of hate speech convictions in Sweden, reports Fria Tider.

Over the year, they further “researched, collaborated, and lectured on, among others, the Council of Europe’s conference on criminal online hate speech”, they claim.

The authority MUCF, which finances left-wing extremist organisations such as Expo, has so far granted just over €150.000 in contributions to the Online Hate Speech Monitor.

The group is run by Tomas Åberg, who a few years ago was investigated for extensive animal cruelty but escaped charges by avoiding being served the lawsuit.

Most of the contribution from MUCF goes to paying his salary.

Last spring, Åberg was nominated for the “Swedish Hero” award by one of Sweden’s major newspapers Aftonbladet.

However, the nomination was withdrawn when it was discovered that he had tortured his own animals to death.

The fact that the “Swedish Hero” event was sponsored by the pet insurance company Agria, probably had something to do with the decision to disqualify him.

On His Last Day in Office, NEVER FORGET: Paul Ryan REPEATEDLY Promised to Fund Trump Border Wall — Repeatedly Lied (Video)

by Jim Hoft January 3, 2019

Today is Speaker Paul Ryan’s last day in office.
The Republican leader shafted President Trump, Republican lawmakers and conservative-populist voters.

Paul Ryan repeatedly promised to fund the Trump Border Wall.
But at every opportunity he denied the Republican President funds for his border wall.

It was not until President Trump threatened to shut down the government the Speaker Paul Ryan FINALLY pushed legislation that included ONLY $5 BILLION to fund the border wall.

President Trump promised to build a border wall with Mexico at nearly EVERY campaign stop he held in 2015-2016.

The president won the election in an electoral landslide with a promise to build a border wall with Mexico.

In January 2017 Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised to pass funding of $12-15 billion to build the Trump border wall.

But it was all a lie.

Paul Ryan later told Tucker Carlson he would fund the Trump border wall.

It was all a lie.

Paul Ryan did not once include funding for the Trump border wall in any financial package since Trump’s election — until Trump threatened a shutdown.

Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell lied.
But they did fund a border security barrier in Tunisia and Jordan.

Gateway Pundit Poll: Should Trump Use Military Force On The Border If Necessary?

Last week President Trump called on the GOP Congress to finally pass funding for the border wall — With the threat of a shutdown Paul Ryan left the White House and finally included funding for the Trump border wall which passed with ease in the GOP House.

The Pelosi Democrats take over today.

This is Paul Ryan’s last day as Speaker of the House.
Paul Ryan is a liar.
Never forget.

BORDER PATROL: ‘VIOLENT MOB’ ATTACKED AGENTS, ATTEMPTED TO PUSH MINORS OVER BARBED-WIRE

“Once again we have had a violent mob of migrants attempt to enter the United States illegally by attacking our agents with projectiles.”

The migrants gathered at the San Diego sector of the United States border with Mexico on New Year’s Eve tried to force their way over the barrier. When turned back by Customs and Border Patrol agents, some in the group started throwing rocks and attempted to push children over the barbed wire atop the barrier.

“Once again we have had a violent mob of migrants attempt to enter the United States illegally by attacking our agents with projectiles,” Katie Waldman, Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman said. “The agents involved should be applauded for handling the situation with no reported injuries to the attackers.”

The CBP website, like many other federal agency websites, has a banner explaining that because of the partial government shutdown, it is not being regularly updated. But on Tuesday a statement was posted about the violence:

The following is based on initial operational reporting. Last night, approximately 150 migrants attempted to illegally enter the United States by climbing over and crawling under border fence in San Diego Sector. Due to CBP’s increased presence, a first group of 45 turned back towards Mexico. Shortly thereafter, migrants began throwing rocks over the fence at the CBP agents and officers. Several teenagers, wrapped in heavy jackets, blankets and rubber mats were put over the concertina wire. Border Patrol agents witnessed members of the group attempt to lift toddler sized children up and over the concertina wire and having difficulty accomplishing the task in a safe manner. Agents were not in a position to safely assist the children due to the large number of rocks being thrown at them.

To address the rock throwers assaulting agents and risking the safety of migrants attempting to cross who were already on the U.S. side, both smoke and minimal countermeasures were deployed. Agents deployed smoke, pepper spray and CS gas to a position upwind of the rock throwers and south of the border fence. The deployments were not directed at the migrants attempting entry on the U.S. side or at the fence line. The rock throwers were located south of the fence, in an elevated position both above the border fence area and the incursion attempt.

The statement said the “countermeasures” were directed only at those attacking the agents and were deployed in a manner that would not threaten other migrants in the area.

The Associated Press reported injuries in the crowd, but CPB denied that claim.

“No agents witnessed any of the migrants at the fence line, including children, experiencing effects of the chemical agents, which were targeted at the rock throwers further away,” the statement said.

The statement said agents successfully turned back the rock throwers and that 25 arrests were made during the unrest.

“Under CBP use of force policy, this incident will be reviewed by CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility,” the statement concluded.

As Breitbart News reported in November, under the Obama administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) law enforcement officials, including Border Patrol agents, utilized tear gas against migrants at or near the border at least 80 times between FY2012 and early FY2017.

Europe’s patriots on course to win European elections as globalist Macron has lost control

By

Capture

The European Parliamentary elections are in May 2019. This year, more than previous MEP elections is likely to be profoundly consequential with a turnout that has not been previously seen.

According to the Financial Times, it will be a showdown between the beleaguered French President Emmanuel Macron and the man voted by his own people as the most trusted and popular politician in history, Italy’s Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini. A battle between Globalists and Populists.

Mr. Salvini was already popular with Italian voters, but when he stood up to Brussels over his ‘Italian’s first’ budget, the people of Italy only grew to love him more. In fact, in recent polls the Italian people said they see him as the real leader of Italy, even over the Prime Minister.

The populist Minister Salvini has challenged the outgoing French President Emmanuel Macron’s pro-European agenda which interferes with individual countries’ sovereignty.

Many people in Italy now see Emmanuel Macron as the enemy of their country, as he embodies all that is imperialist about the EU.

Some of Macron’s advisors have warned against a political showdown with Salvini because his own popularity has bottomed out in his own country, weakening his position. As Salvini’s influence strengthens, Macron’s influence weakens.

As one of the Yellow Vest protesters summed up Macron’s ‘leadership’: “Our elites are talking about the end of world when we are talking about the end of the month.”

If the parties on the right can form a unified front potentially under Salvini, the elections could be the biggest overhaul of the EU since its founding.

The Financial Times states that “according to an aggregation of surveys by Pollofpolls.eu, Mr. Salvini’s League will surge from six per cent of the vote and five of Italy’s seats in the European Parliament in 2014, to 33 per cent and 29 seats.

France’s right is on course to win 21 per cent, pushing Mr Macron’s La République En Marche! centrist party into second place, and giving Ms Le Pen a chance of redemption EUROafter a disappointing presidential election campaign in 2017.

Viktor Orban’s right-wing Fidesz party is almost certain to confirm its dominance in Hungary. The Eurosceptic Alternative for Germany looks likely to double its tally of seven per cent and seven seats.

Poland’s conservative Law and Justice party is expected to win 41 per cent and 24 seats, up from 32 per cent and 19 seats.”

It is no wonder, given Mr. Macron’s tarnished image due to the Yellow Vests in his country, that Salvini is not expecting much of a challenge from the French President.

As he told Politico this month, “Macron is not a problem for me. He is a problem for the French people”.

We don’t want to mix Islam with our culture, it’s not good – Hungarian Prime Minister

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has criticised countries that “mix two cultures” and think it will “create something new and good”.

“There are countries that think that mixing two cultures, Christianity and Islam, creates something new and good. We see it differently.

“If the others want to mix their cultures, then they have a right to this attempt. But we do not want to start any trials in Hungary.

“We do not want to mix our Christianity-based culture, values, attitude to life with other cultures,” the Hungarian Prime Minister said.

With his eyes on the upcoming European election in May, Orban hopes voters “want to retain and protect their national identity, as well as their Christian customs” as they are being threatened by increased migration flows.

Earlier the Hungarian Prime Minister said about Islam:

“We caution all against harbouring the idea that Islam is part of any European country. It is good to know the answers about Islam. And we Hungarians know them. For example, if we say that Islam is part of Germany, ‘in Islam’ it means that Germany is part of Islam.”

Orban’s Fidesz party has increased it’s lead since the elections and is now supported by 54 per cent of voters.
