CONGRESS – Congressman Who Thought Guam Might ‘Tip Over and Capsize’ From Overpopulation Says Trump Supporters ‘Less Educated’

File this in the “cannot be made up” category.

A Democratic Congressman from Georgia who worried in 2010 that the island of Guam would tip over and capsize due to overpopulation called Trump supporters “less educated,” among a litany of other condescension on Tuesday.

“The Jewish people understand tyranny. Charismatic and a good public speaker, deceptive and cunning, Adolf Hitler rose to power to lead Germany in 1932 after Democratic elections. He rode a wave of nationalism and anti-Semitism to power. Replace anti-Semitism with Latinos crossing our borders – rapists drug dealers and murderers. Does that sound familiar?” said Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) at the Atlanta NAACP 2019 Jubilee celebration.

“The same trend towards authoritarian rule, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, is playing out right here at home. Americans elected an authoritarian, anti-immigrant, racist strong-man to the nation’s highest office,” he continued.

The beginning part of Johnson’s speech is confusing. For the past three years, Americans have been told by the mainstream press and their friends in the Democratic Party that Trump is uncharismatic, a horrible public speaker and too stupid to hold the office of President. But Johnson completely flipped that narrative to make a Trump/Hitler comparison befitting of the simpletons who have been electing him for years.

“Donald Trump and his Make America Great Again followers who want to return America back to a time when white men and white privilege were unchallenged, and where minorities and women were in their place. These folks now control the highest office of the land,” he said.

And then, the whopper.

“Donald Trump supporters are older, less educated, less prosperous, and they are dying early. Their life spans are decreasing, and many are dying from alcoholism, drug overdoses, liver disease, or simply a broken heart caused by economic despair,” he claimed without providing evidence.

Gratuitous, factually unprovable insults aside, what did Johnson mean by “less educated?” Less educated than whom, exactly? Than Hank Johnson? The congressman who, in 2010, worried that the island of Guam would physically tip over and capsize from overpopulation, apparently failing to understand the concept of… land?

That actually happened during a House Armed Services Committee hearing.

“In a discussion regarding a planned military buildup on the Pacific island, Johnson expressed some concerns about the plans to Adm. Robert Willard, head of the U.S. Pacific fleet,” CBS said at the time.

He expressed his concerns thusly:

Johnson: This is a [sic], uh, island, that at its widest level is what, 12 miles from shore to shore, and at its smallest level, or smallest, uh, uh, uh, location, it’s uh, seven miles, uh between one shore and the other, is that correct?

Willard: I don’t have the exact, uh, dimensions, but to your point, I think, sir, Guam is a small island.

Johnson: Very small island – and about 24 miles, if I recall, long – so 24 miles long, about seven miles wide at the least widest, uh place on the island and about 20, about 12 miles wide, uh, uh, on the widest part of the island. And um, I don’t know how many square miles that that is, do you happen to know?

Willard: I don’t have that figure with me sir. I can certainly supply it to you if you’d like.

Johnson: “Yeah. My fear is, uh, that, uh, the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.”

Willard: “We don’t anticipate that.”

Kudos to the Admiral for not bursting out in laughter at Johnson’s stupidity. But Johnson as the audacity to call Trump supporters stupid? To intimate that somehow he is more enlightened than them? And not just some of them – but all of them?

His ignorance is a symptom of a larger problem of D.C. politics. Our institutions that put people like Johnson in power are meritocracies that do not require any merit at all. Simply the correct scripted talking points and enough donor cash to the do the bidding of the real people running the show behind the scenes will get the job done.

Case in point? Rep. Hank Johnson.

2018: The year the media predicted Trump’s imminent downfall. Again, again… and again (VIDEO)

For news consumers, 2018 was the year that the US media went into Trump hysteria overdrive, repeatedly and erroneously predicting his imminent downfall. RT plunged headfirst into a year’s worth of Trump obsession.

Within three months of President Donald Trump’s inauguration, important people on television were already forecasting the president’s resignation over the still unproven allegations that his campaign had colluded with the Kremlin. “The walls are closing in”“this could be grounds for impeachment” – these were terms that were thrown around literally six months ago. They’re not true now, and they definitely weren’t true in June.

The result of this year-long hyperventilating is now clear upon review: In 2018, CNN, MSNBC and other mainstream outlets took the American people for a ride. Even when California’s wildfires grabbed headlines – or SNL put out Christmas skits – Trump and his allegedly doomed presidency remained the focus.

RT’s Ilya Petrenko relived the fond memories of 2018’s Trump psychosis.

On His Last Day in Office, NEVER FORGET: Paul Ryan REPEATEDLY Promised to Fund Trump Border Wall — Repeatedly Lied (Video)

by Jim Hoft January 3, 2019

Today is Speaker Paul Ryan’s last day in office.
The Republican leader shafted President Trump, Republican lawmakers and conservative-populist voters.

Paul Ryan repeatedly promised to fund the Trump Border Wall.
But at every opportunity he denied the Republican President funds for his border wall.

It was not until President Trump threatened to shut down the government the Speaker Paul Ryan FINALLY pushed legislation that included ONLY $5 BILLION to fund the border wall.

President Trump promised to build a border wall with Mexico at nearly EVERY campaign stop he held in 2015-2016.

The president won the election in an electoral landslide with a promise to build a border wall with Mexico.

In January 2017 Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised to pass funding of $12-15 billion to build the Trump border wall.

But it was all a lie.

Paul Ryan later told Tucker Carlson he would fund the Trump border wall.

It was all a lie.

Paul Ryan did not once include funding for the Trump border wall in any financial package since Trump’s election — until Trump threatened a shutdown.

Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell lied.
But they did fund a border security barrier in Tunisia and Jordan.

Gateway Pundit Poll: Should Trump Use Military Force On The Border If Necessary?

Last week President Trump called on the GOP Congress to finally pass funding for the border wall — With the threat of a shutdown Paul Ryan left the White House and finally included funding for the Trump border wall which passed with ease in the GOP House.

The Pelosi Democrats take over today.

This is Paul Ryan’s last day as Speaker of the House.
Paul Ryan is a liar.
Never forget.

BORDER PATROL: ‘VIOLENT MOB’ ATTACKED AGENTS, ATTEMPTED TO PUSH MINORS OVER BARBED-WIRE

“Once again we have had a violent mob of migrants attempt to enter the United States illegally by attacking our agents with projectiles.”

The migrants gathered at the San Diego sector of the United States border with Mexico on New Year’s Eve tried to force their way over the barrier. When turned back by Customs and Border Patrol agents, some in the group started throwing rocks and attempted to push children over the barbed wire atop the barrier.

“Once again we have had a violent mob of migrants attempt to enter the United States illegally by attacking our agents with projectiles,” Katie Waldman, Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman said. “The agents involved should be applauded for handling the situation with no reported injuries to the attackers.”

The CBP website, like many other federal agency websites, has a banner explaining that because of the partial government shutdown, it is not being regularly updated. But on Tuesday a statement was posted about the violence:

The following is based on initial operational reporting. Last night, approximately 150 migrants attempted to illegally enter the United States by climbing over and crawling under border fence in San Diego Sector. Due to CBP’s increased presence, a first group of 45 turned back towards Mexico. Shortly thereafter, migrants began throwing rocks over the fence at the CBP agents and officers. Several teenagers, wrapped in heavy jackets, blankets and rubber mats were put over the concertina wire. Border Patrol agents witnessed members of the group attempt to lift toddler sized children up and over the concertina wire and having difficulty accomplishing the task in a safe manner. Agents were not in a position to safely assist the children due to the large number of rocks being thrown at them.

To address the rock throwers assaulting agents and risking the safety of migrants attempting to cross who were already on the U.S. side, both smoke and minimal countermeasures were deployed. Agents deployed smoke, pepper spray and CS gas to a position upwind of the rock throwers and south of the border fence. The deployments were not directed at the migrants attempting entry on the U.S. side or at the fence line. The rock throwers were located south of the fence, in an elevated position both above the border fence area and the incursion attempt.

The statement said the “countermeasures” were directed only at those attacking the agents and were deployed in a manner that would not threaten other migrants in the area.

The Associated Press reported injuries in the crowd, but CPB denied that claim.

“No agents witnessed any of the migrants at the fence line, including children, experiencing effects of the chemical agents, which were targeted at the rock throwers further away,” the statement said.

The statement said agents successfully turned back the rock throwers and that 25 arrests were made during the unrest.

“Under CBP use of force policy, this incident will be reviewed by CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility,” the statement concluded.

As Breitbart News reported in November, under the Obama administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) law enforcement officials, including Border Patrol agents, utilized tear gas against migrants at or near the border at least 80 times between FY2012 and early FY2017.

Donald Trump: Mitt Romney Fights Me More than He Did Barack Obama

Capture

President Donald Trump further ridiculed failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney for continuing to criticize him and his presidency.

By Charlie Spiering

President Donald Trump further ridiculed failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney for continuing to criticize him and his presidency.

“If he fought really hard against President Obama like he does against me, he would have won the election,” Trump said.

Romney criticized Trump in a Washington Post op-ed for failing to “seize the mantle” of the presidency by leading with dignity to inspire the world, criticizing his bad approval numbers around the globe.

“I was expecting something, but I’m surprised he did it this quickly,” Trump said, noting that he expected criticism from Romney, despite his endorsement. Romney ran and won his race for Senator of Utah with Trump’s endorsement in 2018.

“I wish Mitt could be more of a team player,” Trump said. “I endorsed him and he thanked me profusely.”

Trump defended his low approval ratings in foreign countries, noting that he was elected as president of the United States.

“I shouldn’t be popular in Europe. If I were popular in Europe I wouldn’t be doing my job,” he said.

Popular Far-Left Account Spends Christmas Doxing and Threatening ICE Employees with Bombs, Apparently Does Not Violate Twitter Rules

A Twitter account with over 8,000 followers spent Christmas posting the names, photos, job titles, and locations of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Despite being reported dozens of times, Twitter has apparently not found the tweets to be in violation of their terms of service.

According to a report from Far Left Watch, the user @AntiFashGordon had grabbed the employee list from another user, @Animal_Mothah, who described the ICE employees as “American genociders.”

“This list was retweeted hundreds of times and was met with praise by other far-left Twitter users. One user even said ‘Hopefully someone will pay them a warm Christmas visit with some explosives and some buckshot!’” FLW reports.

After another Antifa account doxed Fox News host Tucker Carlson, dozens of fat-left radicals showed up at his home where he lives with his wife and small children.

Far Left Watch notes that since the Twitter rules do not appear to apply to the left, it may be “more strategically sound to report this information to the FBI. Should you decide to go this route, make it clear that these users are using Twitter’s platform to put ICE employees in danger and that Twitter is failing to take any action against them.”
