‘Imminent danger': German media reveals details about Freiburg gang rape suspect

The main suspect in the gang rape of an 18-year-old German in Freiburg was described as posing an “imminent danger” and should have been arrested as soon as possible, local media claims, citing an arrest warrant.

A Syrian man, identified as a 21-year-old Majd H., is the prime suspect behind the gang rape of an 18-year-old woman in the western German city of Freiburg. He was not only previously known to police but had an arrest warrant issued against him on October 10, law enforcement said recently.

According to the latest revelations by German daily Bild, the details of the warrant are even more chilling. There was “an imminent danger”that he would commit other serious crimes, the media outlet writes, citing the document. The dangers included sexual coercion and grave bodily harm.

The warrant recommended arresting him immediately for the sake of public safety. However, it wasn’t processed until October 21, a week after the gang rape in Freiburg which provoked widespread public outrage.

Justifying their inaction during the Tuesday press conference, police cited some “investigative tactics” that complicated the arrest of Majd H. However, as the public demanded answers, the investigators admitted that the offender’s whereabouts had to be established first, as they were unknown at the time the warrant was issued.

Last week, eight men were arrested in connection with the rape of an 18-year-old woman. Police said that seven of the suspects were Syrian men aged 19 to 29, and one was a German native aged 25.

The crime which shook the nation took place in mid-October, after the teen met a Syrian asylum seeker at a nightclub in Freiburg. The man is thought to have added some kind of “knockout substance” into the victim’s drink.

The pair left the club together and at some point the man dragged the woman into the nearby bushes and raped her, according to prosecutors. The perpetrator returned to the club to “call his friends” who then committed the gang rape.

The shocking incident has once again stirred up anti-immigrant sentiment in Germany, which has accepted over a million asylum seekers since the 2015 refugee crisis. Shortly after news of the rape broke, up to 500 protesters took to the streets of Freiburg over the crime. The demonstration, organized by the anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party drew about 1,500 counter-protesters.

It’s not the first such incident in the western German city. In 2016, Freiburg was stunned by the death of Maria Ladenburger, a 19-year-old medical student who was raped and drowned by an Afghan asylum seeker.

Watch: Celebrities Beg People to Vote– Trump Administration ‘Keeping Children in Cages’

According to these stars we are “fighting” against Russian bots, voting to secure “a woman’s right to choose” (as long as they don’t choose life), and fighting against “our government keeping children in cages.”

By Warner Todd Huston

Another group of Hollywood celebrities has come out with a get out the vote ad, this time driving a left-wing message attacking President Donald Trump for “keeping children in cages,” despite the fact that the same immigration policy was implemented during the Obama era.

The ad features actors such as Andy Ritcher of Conan O’Brien late-night show fame, The Big Bang Theory’s Simon Helberg and Melissa Rauch, Bradley Whitford from the series The West Wing, commercial actress Milana Vayntrub, and several others urging people to vote.

The ad is titled, “The Last Weekend,” and is aimed at getting Americans interested in voting.

The theme of the ad takes viewers through an action movie scenario called, “The Last Weekend,” but then segues into the fact that this really is the last weekend before Election Day. The stars then urge fans to volunteer for the partisan “Swing Left” campaign to get liberal voters to the polls by November 6.

Why should we vote? Well, according to these stars we are “fighting” against Russian bots, voting to secure “a woman’s right to choose” (as long as they don’t choose life), and fighting against “our government keeping children in cages.”

Of course, none of the stars mention that this policy of detaining children brought here illegally by foreign migrants is a policy that has been around since the late 1990s and that Barack Obama also kept “children in cages” as their status was cleared up.

In fact, one of the reasons children are separated from the adults that bring them into the country is because often these kids are being trafficked and used as shields by people who turn out not to be the kids’ parents. Indeed, during the Trump administration arrests for human trafficking have surged.

“Through late June 2018, human trafficking arrests for the year approached 6,000. That’s nearly double the year prior (which itself marked an all-time high), and triple the year before that,” Political Insider reported. “Human trafficking-related arrests never topped 2,000 under the Obama administration and were a paltry 300 in 2010.”

Florida Rallies: Trump-DeSantis Speak to 8,300, Bernie-Gillum Speak to 200-300

President Donald Trump‘s rally on Wednesday night in Fort Myers for Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott packed the Hertz Arena to the brim whereas Bernie Sanders and Andrew Gillum struggled to fill half the floor of the CFE Arena during their competing rally held earlier in the day.

The Hertz Arena has a capacity of 8,284:

If previous rallies were any indicator, thousands were likely turned away at the door.

On the other hand, Bernie Sanders and Andrew Gillum didn’t fill a single seat at their much smaller rally at the University of Central Florida:

It appears they put up giant black curtains to cut off at least half of the stadium, which can hold around 9,500-10,000, but since they only had 200-300 people show up they still couldn’t fill the place.

This picture from WFTV reporter Field Sutton was taken 20 minutes after the rally was supposed to start:

“Floor is full. Seats are empty,” Sutton said in a follow-up tweet in response to someone laughing at the small crowd size. “I have no idea how many people that translates into.”

As The American Mirror reported last week, Sanders’ rally crowds are “down 90 percent” from 2016.

Despite the huge difference in turnout, Republicans should not become complacent. Democrats bus their voters to the polls and entice them with taco trucks to get out and vote.

Trump only won Florida by around 110,000 votes and Democrats have been working hard to get the least informed voters possible to the polls.

Gab Standard: Twitter Failed to Act on Hundreds of Death Threats from Mail Bombing Suspect

Twitter allowed Cesar Sayoc to make 240+ threats on its platform

By Charlie Nash

Twitter allowed Cesar Sayoc, the man who allegedly sent apparent bombs to public figures around the country this month, to post more than 240 threats towards 50 different people on its social network without sanction. Meanwhile, the media managed to temporarily force free speech social network Gab offline after it was revealed that the Tree of Life Pittsburgh Synagogue shooting suspect had an account on the platform.

According to CNN, an analysis discovered that “Sayoc tweeted more than 240 threats directed to at least 50 public officials, news organizations and media personalities.”

“The threats, and Twitter’s apparent inaction regarding them, raise new questions regarding social media and radicalization,” CNN declared, adding, “In this instance, Twitter may well have provided Sayoc with the material that radicalized him, and then it stood idly by as that radicalization led to hundreds of threats.”

Some of Sayoc’s threats reportedly included, “Your Time is coming,” “Your days are over,” “your (sic) next,” and “Hug your loved ones real close everytime U leave your home,” while he also sent pictures of decapitated goats to users.

CNN’s report did not include all of Sayoc’s targets on Twitter. Sayoc tweeted violent images of man-eating crocodiles to liberal Fox News contributor Rochelle Ritchie, a fact mysteriously left out by CNN, which instead focused on anti-Trump celebrity Kathy Griffin, who admitted she hadn’t even read the threat tweeted to her.

Free speech social network Gab, however, was forced offline this week after media outlets and figures blamed the platform for allowing Tree of Life Pittsburgh Synagogue shooting suspect Robert Bowers to make anti-Semitic comments on his account — where Bowers also made several posts attacking President Trump and the MAGA movement, which he perceived as Jewish.

Despite this, Gab has a strict policy against threats and illegal content, and in contrast with Twitter, immediately issued a statement condemning Bowers and expressing sympathy for the victims following the crime.

Gab is currently offline, after its web host Joyent gave the social network just 48 hours to migrate elsewhere.

Domain service GoDaddy also forced Gab to immediately move to another service.

Joe Donnelly: ‘Our State Director is Indian-American, But He Does An Amazing Job’

“Our director of all constituent services, she’s African-American, but she does an even more incredible job than you could ever imagine.”

By Chris Menahan

Democratic incumbent Senator Joe Donnelly wants Hoosiers to know that his staffers do amazing jobs despite being Indian-Americans and African-Americans.

While touting the diversity of his staff during the Indiana senate debate Tuesday night, Donnelly said, “Our state director is Indian-American, but he does an amazing job.”

“Our director of all constituent services, she’s African-American, but she does an even more incredible job than you could ever imagine,” Donnelly said.

Many noted the “odd phrasing” of his statements:

Democrats, who would have lost their minds if Republican challenger Mike Braun said the same thing, literally begged left-wing journalist Yashar Ali not to make a story out of it:

I don’t think it’s even a mild exaggeration to say these exact same posters would say Mike Braun is “literally Hitler” and a “white supremacist neo nazi” for making the same statement. It really just goes to show this PC garbage is purely a one-way street.

While Donnelly had a huge lead in the polls several months ago, after backing the witch-hunt against Judge Brett Kavanaugh and voting against his nomination he lost his entire lead and in the latest poll he’s trailing Mike Braun by three points.
