Protesters among the Women’s March in Washington, DC, Saturday called for free abortions for all, President Trump’s children to be caged, and for Trump to “drop dead.”

The left-wing protesters showed support for feminism, prostitution, transgender issues, and immigration. Many demonstrators also showed serious hatred for the president.

“Make America Great Again, and Drop Dead!” one sign read.

One protester called for Trump’s children to be caged. Barron Trump is only 12 years old.

“Grab ’em by the patriarchy” one sign read.

In a video captured by Breitbart News, a woman says, “Everybody, I’m giving abortions. I give abortions to men. I give abortions to women. Everybody gets a free abortion.”

Another sign read, “Sex work is work.” A sign can also be seen that reads “Let’s RIOT.”

“Stop killing black trans women,” another sign read.

There were also several men with “Feminist Dad” signs.

One protester informed onlookers that “Pussy is God.”

“Tits over toupees,” another sign said.

One sign read, “Welcome to the Bitchdom. We’re done being quiet!”

Trump Proposes DACA, TPS Protections for $5.7B in Wall Funding

By Ian Hanchett

During a statement on Saturday, President Trump proposed funding for humanitarian assistance and drug detection technology, increases in Border Patrol agents and immigration judges, changes to the asylum application process for minors, promotion of family reunification, $5.7 billion in border wall funding, and protections for DACA recipients and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders.

Trump said, “Our plan includes the following: $800 million in urgent humanitarian assistance, $805 million for drug detection technology to help secure our ports of entry, an additional 2,750 border agents and law enforcement professionals, 75 new immigration judge teams…a new system to allow Central American minors to apply for asylum in their home countries and reform to promote family reunification for unaccompanied children, thousands of whom wind up on our border doorstep. To physically secure our border, the plan includes $5.7 billion for a strategic deployment of physical barriers, or a wall. This is not a 2,000-mile concrete structure from sea to sea. These are steel barriers in high priority locations.”

He added that the plan includes “3 years of legislative relief” for DACA recipients, which will “give them access to work permits, Social Security numbers, and protection from deportation,” and 3 years of TPS extension.

New caravan enters Mexico — legally or not…

Ciudad Hidalgo (Mexico) (AFP)

Hundreds of Central Americans entered Mexico illegally as the latest migrant caravan to set its sights on the United States began crossing the Mexican-Guatemalan border en masse Friday.

Not content to wait five days for the humanitarian visas Mexico is offering them, several hundred migrants took to make-shift rafts to cross the Suchiate River, which forms the frontier, or snuck across the loosely guarded border bridge overnight, AFP correspondents said.

That could trigger a new Twitter firestorm from US President Donald Trump, who has urged Mexico to halt such caravans, and who tweeted early Friday: “Another big Caravan heading our way. Very hard to stop without a Wall!”

Caravans of migrants hoping to find safety in numbers have taken center stage in the raging US debate over Trump’s proposed border wall, which has led to a government shutdown that is now the longest in history.

Around 2,000 migrants are traveling in the latest caravan — smaller than the one that swelled to 7,000 migrants late last year, leading Trump to warn of an “invasion” by “criminals” and “thugs” and send thousands of troops to the US-Mexican border.

Mexican authorities are urging the migrants to cross the border legally and offering expedited “visitor cards” that let them work and access basic health care in Mexico.

So far, 969 migrants from Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua have been registered under the program and given bracelets that they can exchange for visitor cards in five days.

But hundreds more migrants ignored the offer and crossed illegally, not content to wait in the park where the caravan has camped out in the border city of Tecun Uman, Guatemala.

“A lot of us aren’t interested in waiting five days. Our goal is to reach the United States,” said Alma Mendoza, a nurse and single mother making the trip with her three children.

“We don’t have food, much less money. We want to reach our destination,” she told AFP.

Other migrants said they would consider staying in Mexico.

“My goal is to reach the United States, but if I can’t I’ll stay in Mexico and work. They’re giving us an opportunity,” said Christian Medrano, 33, an industrial technician.

‘AMLO’ walking fine line –

The caravan set out Tuesday from San Pedro Sula, in northwestern Honduras, and has grown along the way.

The migrants are mostly fleeing poverty and crime in Central America’s “Northern Triangle” of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. Brutal street gangs have made the three countries among the most violent in the world.

Another caravan of about 200 migrants set out Wednesday from El Salvador and is now in southern Mexico, possibly poised to join up with the first.

Many of the migrants are traveling in families, often with small children.

Those who reached Mexico’s southern border have covered about 700 kilometers (435 miles) so far. They have roughly 4,000 kilometers to go if they take the same route as the last caravan, to Tijuana, across from San Diego, California.

When that caravan reached Mexico in October, the authorities tried to stop it with riot police. But the migrants stormed in anyway, tearing down border fences then crossing the river illegally when police refused to let them through.

Since then, Mexico has got a new government, led by President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, an anti-establishment leftist.

“AMLO,” as the new president is widely known, has promised to treat migrants more humanely than previous governments. But he has also sought to stay on Trump’s good side with talk of reducing migrant flows.

The October caravan largely dispersed after reaching Tijuana.

US Border Patrol agents fought back two attempts by the migrants to rush the border, firing tear gas to disperse them.

Some have since found work in Mexico, some crossed the border and filed asylum claims, and many returned home. About 400 remain in a shelter set up for them in Tijuana that is slated to be closed on Wednesday.

Newly-elected Omar draws accusations of ‘unbelievable’ bigotry and anti-Semitism

Newly-elected Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar found herself in the spotlight, not for passing legislation, but for defending herself against accusations of homophobia, bigotry, and anti-Semitism from all sides.

Omar’s victory in November was a milestone for identity politics. But even as the first Somali-American and one of two Muslim women elected to Congress last year, accusations of intolerance have dogged her first days in office.

In a tweet posted Tuesday, Omar shared a video of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham (South Carolina) denouncing then-candidate Trump in 2015. Now, with Graham a reliable supporter of Trump in the Senate, Omar suggested “They got to him, he is compromised!”

Omar did not say exactly how Graham was “compromised,” or by who, but her tweet came days after a slew of accusations by others that Graham is secretly gay, or involved in sexual kink or misconduct, and that information is being used by Trump as leverage against him.

The same day Omar posted her tweet, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle suggested Graham had about-turned on his opposition to Trump, because “Donald Trump knows something pretty extreme about Lindsey Graham.” On Saturday, ‘Avengers’ actor Chris Evans slammed Graham for his “shameful 180,” and called the South Carolina Republican “Smithers,” a reference to Mr. Burns’ lickspittle assistant and closeted homosexual in ‘The Simpsons’.

Democratic operative Jon Cooper suggested the following day that Graham is “kowtowing to Trump (and indirectly Putin),” because of “some pretty serious sexual kink.”

Appearing on CNN Thursday, Omar defended her tweet, but did not directly address Graham’s sexuality.

“So, I am pretty sure that there is something happening with him,” she told CNN’s Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto. “He is somehow compromised to no longer stand up for the truth,” Omar continued, adding that “the evidence really is present to us.”

Pressed on what exactly this evidence is, Omar replied that “It’s being presented to us in the way that he is behaving,” and that her tweet “was just an opinion based on what I believe to be visible to me – and I’m pretty sure there are lots of Americans who agree on this.”

Omar was swiftly called out, first by CNN’s S.E. Cupp, who called her comments “ignorant, homophobic and unacceptable.”

“Here we have Ilhan Omar, a sitting Congresswoman, floating around a conspiracy theory with absolutely zero evidence that Lindsey Graham is secretly gay and the GOP is holding him hostage,” wrote Republican strategist Caleb Hull. “Unbelievable.”

Embroiled in one scandal already, Omar was also pressed by Sciutto about a 2012 tweet sent during an eight-day conflict between Israeli forces and Palestinian militants in Gaza.

“Israel has hypnotized the world,” she wrote at the time. “May Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

screen shot 2019-01-18 at 11.42.55 am

In her CNN appearance, Omar stood by her tweet. “I don’t know how my comments would be offensive to Jewish Americans,” she said. “My comments precisely are addressing what was happening during the Gaza war, and I am clearly speaking about the way the Israeli regime was conducting itself in that war.”

Republicans and Jewish Americans were offended. New York Rep. Lee Zeldin (R), who is Jewish, tweeted that “instead of the Dems supporting Israel & combating BDS & anti-Semitism on college campuses & elsewhere, they’re now empowering it.”

screen shot 2019-01-18 at 11.45.20 am

Omar has spoken in support of the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement against Israel before, and was recently assigned a seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where she will vote on issues of US foreign policy and foreign aid, including that to Israel. Crucially, her committee may soon vote on a bipartisan bill that would write into law a 2016 agreement between the US and Israel guaranteeing the Jewish state $38 billion in military aid over 10 years.

“Anti-Semitism has no place in Congress and certainly not on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. I am deeply disappointed in Speaker Pelosi’s choice, a choice that threatens the Committee’s long history of bipartisan support for Israel,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Louisiana) said in a statement on Thursday.

With two firestorms raging, Omar’s Congressional career has gotten off to a bumpy start. However, the Minnesota lawmaker is standing her ground against the criticism. As well as defending her anti-Israel statement, Omar stood by her accusations against Graham.

“The Right thinks being homosexual is ‘compromising,’” she tweeted later on Thursday. “Y’all know my tweet had nothing to do with his sexuality and everything to do with his blind cooperation w/ Trump.”

CNN CAUGHT IN STUNNING EXAMPLE OF JOURNALISTIC BIAS

Pelosi’s stunt a “power move,” Trump’s act “taking the low road”

Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com – JANUARY 18, 2019

CNN was caught in perhaps its most brazen act of journalistic bias yet, reporting Nancy Pelosi’s demand that President Trump cancel his State of the Union address as a “power move” but then a day later calling Trump’s cancellation of Pelosi’s foreign trip “taking the low road”.

Trump blocked Pelosi’s trip to Brussels and Afghanistan by halting her use of military aircraft, requesting that she instead stay in Washington DC to negotiate an end to the partial US government shutdown.

Many surmised that this was a delayed response to Pelosi’s earlier demand that Trump postpone his State of the Union address or deliver it in writing.

However, despite the two things being just about on par in terms of power plays, CNN’s political analyst Chris Cillizza betrayed his bias by reporting them completely differently.

screen shot 2019-01-18 at 11.16.06 am

Pelosi’s stunt was described as a “power move” while Trump’s act was described as “Taking the low road. Always.”

Respondents on Twitter reacted to Cillizza’s blatant bias.

“You expect someone like @CillizzaCNN to be consistent?” asked one.

“One of these days Cillizza will figure out how to stop stepping on rakes. Today is not that day,” added another.

This is by no means the first time that Cillizza’s tweets have drawn attention.

Last year, he posted one depicting Donald Trump in crosshairs, before promptly deleting it.
