While Rowling’s politically correct marketing strategy might hit home with some readers, others believe the self-described “bourgeois neoliberal centrist” author is pandering and insincere with what’s seen as her retrospective canonization of contemporary identity issues. ITALY – A man of Senegalese origin set a school bus full of children on fire on Wednesday to avenge the death of African migrants at sea.

The angry Senegalese migrant hijacked a bus with 51 children and their chaperones on board and drove around for an hour, threatening everyone on the bus.

The children were handcuffed as the driver threatened them with a knife and said if anyone made a move he would light the bus on fire.

“[The driver] kept saying that people in Africa are dying and the fault is [deputy prime ministers Luigi] Di Maio and [Matteo] Salvini,” a young girl told ANSA.

Fox News reported:

The man, reportedly in his 40s, took the bus carrying two middle-school classes in Cremona province, about 25 miles from Milan, and drove for an hour before authorities intercepted the vehicle using three Carabinieri vehicles. Authorities were able to set up a roadblock based on information from an adult and a student who called a parent.

“While two officers kept the driver busy — he took a lighter and threatened to set fire to the vehicle with a gasoline canister on board — the others forced open the back door,” Commander Luca De Marchis told Sky24TV.

The driver started the blaze as officers broke the glass in the back door of the bus, allowing the passengers to escape before flames engulfed the entire vehicle. Video of the incident’s aftermath showed a charred metal frame.

Left-wing activist group Women’s March on Tuesday used Friday’s terrorist attack on a New Zealand mosque that killed 50 people to solicit donations from supporters.

Women’s March sent out a fundraising email from co-chair Linda Sarsour, who asked supporters to “give the gift of justice” by donating to the activist organization she leads.

Sarsour’s email noted Tuesday was her 39th birthday, “the age Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was when he was assassinated.”

Sarsour said “51 of my fellow Muslims were murdered in New Zealand as they prayed, killed for just being who they are,” misstating the number of dead, before going on to ask for donations to combat anti-Muslim sentiment. (RELATED: Linda Sarsour Attacks ‘White Feminist’ Nancy Pelosi)

“Will you donate $10 this month so that we can continue to stand up boldly against Islamophobia and be ready to show up for our neighbors in times of need?” Sarsour asked in the email.

“The same ideology that inspired the Christchurch shooters inspired the Pittsburgh shooter. They were inspired and radicalized by the xenophobic and hateful rhetoric of Trump and his administration,” Sarsour continued. “Trump has declined to address whether he recognizes the rise in white nationalism that is clear for the eye to see.”

“We see things differently. I want to forge a new way. We’re building a community out of fierce love for ourselves and each other and rejecting the politics of hate and divisiveness. Our children depend on it. Our country depends on it,” she said.

Sarsour then asked supporters to “give the gift of justice” by donating to Women’s March.

Women’s March did not return an email seeking comment on the fundraising email.

A Pennsylvania student attending Honesdale High School has filed a complaint with the United States Department of Education Office of Civil Rights after her school administrators allowed a trans woman, a biological male who feels he is a woman, to dress and undress in the female locker room.

The student said she felt violated and scared when she looked across the aisle in the locker room to discover a member of the opposite sex in his underwear. In a video released by her legal team, she says it was obvious he was biologically male, as she “could tell that he was wearing women’s underwear and what was underneath it.”

“It was the first period, and I had gym class,” said the student, “And I walked in with all my friends, and while I was putting on my pants, I heard a man’s voice, so I turned around, and he’s standing there on the opposite aisle looking at me.”

“I glanced down and I could tell that he was wearing women’s underwear, and what was beneath it.”

She added that having a man apparently gawking at her while in various stages of undress made her feel unsafe.

“When I knew that a man was looking at me, I felt very violated, and very scared,” she said. “Especially looking at me while I am getting dressed.”

Her attorney said that this should be considered a form of sexual harassment in the eyes of the law.

“Opening up restrooms and locker room facilities to members of the opposite sex is sexual harassment,” said Andrea Shaw, the high school student’s attorney, “And like many forms of sexual harassment the girls in this school have little power over their situation.”

The attorney also notes that the school’s only attempt to remedy the situation was to allow the female high school student to wait to change until the biologically male student was finished, making her chronically late to gym class.

According to local media, the school district’s superintendent claims he is not able to comment on the case, but stated that the school is following the letter of the law. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is expected to take up the case, otherwise biologically male students will continue to be allowed to dress and undress with biologically females.

Kathleen Biden is listed as a co-chair of the group in some materials and as director of strategic partnerships on the group’s website. Kathleen Biden’s lifelong friend founded the group, and Kathleen Biden has been involved with the group since its inception.

Kathleen Biden was married to Biden’s son Hunter Biden until 2017, and was married to him at the time of this incident. Joe Biden raises money for the group.

A lawyer for The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project was caught propositioning a male teenager in the bathroom of DC Superior Court, and the founder of the group covered it up before acknowledging wrongdoing and quietly terminating the man when forced to by a Washington newspaper editor who never ran the story.

Multiple eyewitnesses including the boy’s mother notified the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project. The group’s officials expressed that “they didn’t care” about it, according to the eyewitness account.

Time went by. After the local opinion editor for the Washington Examiner asked the group about it, a top official with the group stated that they were aware of the incident and they were dismissing the man for “inappropriate” conduct. The Washington Examiner never went to print on the story, but we have the never-before-seen emails.

The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, the Biden Foundation, and the alleged perpetrator have all been sought for comment, and have had ample time to respond. The perpetrator now lives in Ohio, where he has been stripped of his law license for a separate incident.

The witness says she has faced retaliation for knowing that “this group had a bunch of perverts working in it.”

“There is a group called the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, which Kathleen Biden runs. They are supposedly volunteer attorneys but they hang out all over the courthouses.

They were appointed in my case — if you have a child in a custody battle, sometimes they appoint a “legal guardian,” which is really just somebody who milks you for all the money you have. It’s a big court scam and they do it for the elderly as well, so they can seize people’s property and money.

In June 2011, my ex-husband wanted to take homeschooling away from me, so we were having a hearing at DC Superior Court and James Marion Guardstone was one of the appointees for my child in the divorce. These people from the Volunteer Lawyers Project were just unbelievable.

My friend Victoria’s teenage son Jefferson was going to testify because he was homeschooled. While we were waiting outside of the court, James Marion Broadstone kept talking to Jefferson, who I think was 19 years old at the time, sort of flirting with him. The next thing we know, he followed Jefferson into the men’s room.

Guardstone said Jefferson was very good-looking and he could help him make good money from his looks, and he liked the “cut of his jib.”

He invited him to a party at his house in Annapolis and then uninvited him after he was fired. I think he was discussing being a prostitute.

Jefferson came out and told his mother Victoria what had happened. Then he went into the court to testify.

My friend Victoria was very upset. Jefferson was very upset. And we reported it to the company, the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, who are not volunteers. They are hiding millions of dollars in their IRS 990 forms and pretending to be volunteers.

We told Jenny Brody, who kept coming in and out of the case, and then Olivia C. Baker who was the other GAL on the case, and she wasn’t even a practicing attorney. They just didn’t care, they’re a sleazy group.

Several weeks later, a reporter for the Washington Examiner asked the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project about the boy’s experience. The DC Lawyers Project acknowledged wrongdoing on the part of the perpetrator.

Here is the definitive email, from Jenny Ann Brody on June 17, 2011 to Washington Examiner local opinion editor Barbara Hollingsworth, who never ran a story on the matter:

Dear Ms. Hollingsworth,

“I’m writing to follow up on our conversation yesterday morning concerning James Broadstone, an attorney serving as a pro bono (volunteer) Guardian Ad Litem for a child who is the subject of a contested custody case in DC Superior Court.

I have spoken with Mr. Broadstone as well as with another attorney who is co-Guardian Ad Litem and was with Mr. Broadstone in court on the day in question. (It is the policy of the DCVLP to always assign two attorneys to every case.) It is my understanding that Mr. Broadstone had several conversations with Victoria Rose, a witness for, and employee of, the mother in the case, and with Ms. Rose’s son, a recent high school graduate. My understanding is that Mr. Broadstone, Ms. Rose, and her son had discussions of a social nature, including about Ms. Rose’s son’s college plans. At the end of the hearing, Mr. Broadstone invited both Ms. Rose and her son to a social event he is planning.

It is the view of the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project (DCVLP) that, while Mr. Broadstone’s conduct was not a violation of any ethical rule, he nonetheless showed poor judgment as a GAL for proposing social contacts with a witness. For this reason, we have accepted Mr. Broadstone’s offer to resign as Guardian Ad Litem in this case, and will be filing appropriate documents to inform the court and parties of this fact. In addition, I note that Mr. Broadstone is not currently serving, and will not serve, as a volunteer on any other DCVLP cases. We are disappointed in this lapse in judgment, since, in the past, Mr. Broadstone has achieved excellent results on behalf of domestic violence survivors in other cases he has handled with our organization.

If you have any further questions about the incident concerning Mr. Broadstone, or about the DCVLP, please do not hesitate to contact me. You also may wish to review our website (www.dcvlp.org) to get a larger picture of our organization and its mission, which is to provide free legal services to low income clients in family law cases. The overwhelming majority of parties in family law cases in DC Superior Court lack legal representation, even though these cases affect important family relationships. Our largest area of practice is representing domestic violence survivors in cases to obtain protection orders , and, in some cases, to obtain custody of their children. One final point. We are very puzzled that Ms. Rose chose to contact a newspaper reporter to express her concerns in this case, rather than contacting the DCVLP directly. I note that Ms. Rose is employed by a party in this case. I also note that it is a violation of the Rules of Professional Responsibility for an attorney to make, or cause anyone else to make, statements to the media which may influence an ongoing case.

Et Tu, Ilhan? Anti-Semites, Anti-Israel Activists Attack Rep. Omar After She Comes Out In Support Of A ‘Two-State Solution’

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is learning the hard way that you can’t please everyone, and that includes anti-Semites and anti-Israel activists on social media.

Omar is, of course, well known to moderate Democrats and Republicans for her recent series of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel remarks, often accusing her Jewish colleagues of “dual loyalty” to both the United States and Israel, and implying that pro-Israel organizations like AIPAC are compromising Congress on behalf of the Israeli government.

The comments have divided her Democratic colleagues, who have waffled between censuring her for relying on anti-Semitic smears, and watering down their criticism out of fear they will alienate younger, more progressive aspects of their base.

Over the weekend, Omar penned an op-ed in the Washington Post, attempting to bridge the divide, explaining, in detail, her position on foreign policy as it applies to Israel and the Palestinians. In it, Omar unexpectedly advocated for a “two-state solution” rather than the complete destruction of the Jewish state, something her colleagues in the BDS (or “boycott-divest-sanction”) movement openly support.

The op-ed drew skepticism from moderate Democrats and most Republicans, but in a strange twist, it drew open scorn from anti-Israel activists and anti-Semites on Twitter, who had come to believe Omar was one of their own, only to be “betrayed” by her embrace of the only slightly less radical “two-state solution.”

When she tweeted out her op-ed, things got really hairy.

“When it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, we must fight for self-determination, security, and peace for both peoples. That’s why I support a two-state solution,” she tweeted.

Others accused the outspoken Muslim Congresswoman of stepping on the toes of Palestinians, who should be allowed to determine their own form of “liberation,” not be dictated to by an “imperialist.”

Elizabeth Warren Pledges To Get Rid Of The Electoral College

At a town hall event in Mississippi, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) pledged to avenge her predecessor candidate, Hillary Clinton, and do away with the Electoral College if she is elected President.

The plan to eliminate the Electoral College has caught fire among Democratic presidential hopefuls, and Warren is just the latest in a line of prospective nominees who want to replace the age-old system of allowing each state a certain number of votes proportional to their size and population with a “national popular vote” that will, of course, favor Democrats.

Warren, however, may have been the first to announce her plan in a state that would be cut out of the presidential process almost completely were the “national popular vote” system adopted.

Ironically, CNN reports, Warren announced her plan by suggesting that a national popular vote would make sure all Americans count equally in the process of electing a President.

“Come a general election, presidential candidates don’t come to places like Mississippi. They also don’t come to places like California or Massachusetts, because we’re not the battleground states,” she said. My view is that every vote matters and the way we can make that happen is that we can have national voting and that means get rid of the Electoral College — and every vote counts.”

Warren is right on one count: around 90% of electioneering takes place in 10 or 11 major battleground and swing states. But eliminating the Electoral College wouldn’t necessarily change the plan to win the presidency; it would merely change the select destinations.

Presidential candidates still would not go to “places like Mississippi” in the event of a national popular vote. Places like California (which Democrats do, in fact, visit, if only to collect checks from Hollywood bigwigs), New York, and Virginia would more than dominate electoral politics — they would, essentially, be able to exercise near-imperial rule over most other states.

That’s fine for Democrats, but not exactly fine for the people of Mississippi.

Warren’s plan also has other problems. Like a handful of more extreme Democratic proposals, promising to abolish the Electoral College is a bit like a fifth grader promising to make every day pizza day in the cafeteria as part of his platform for heading up the student council: it just isn’t going to happen without a major change in how party politics operates.

The Electoral College is enshrined in the Constitution and would require an amendment to alter, and an amendment involves calling a Constitutional convention (difficult), or obtaining 2/3 of the vote in both houses of Congress (nearly impossible). And although a handful of states have pledged to buck the Electoral College system and assign their Electors to the winner of the national popular vote, acting on those votes could trigger a firestorm of litigation and a potential Constitutional crisis.

Warren, though, seems pretty much willing to commit to any proposal that earns her even a fraction of a percent at this point. Trailing far behind the leaders, and unable to move her numbers above 7%, it looks as if her bid to become president is over just weeks after it started. In addition to the Electoral College, Warren has proposed support for reparations (though she isn’t sure what that looks like), and has tacitly endorsed packing the Supreme Court with additional judges.

And yet, none of these three extreme proposals has moved her any further up in the polls.

Twitter has admitted to shadowbanning a tweet by The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis in order to “keep people safe.” 

Tweeting a passage last week from former FBI attorney Lisa Page’s Congressional testimony discussing the FBI’s rush to find connections between the Trump campaign and Russia, Davis pointed out the irony of Hillary Clinton’s campaign employing former UK spy Christopher Steele, a foreign national, “working with Russians to obtain damaging information about Donald Trump.”

Of note, the dossier Steele compiled which was subsequently used to obtain a warrant to spy on a Trump adviser (and later smear Trump) relied on a “senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure” and “a former top level intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin,” according to Vanity Fair.

Following his March 12 tweet, Davis wondered if Twitter was experimenting with “shadow bans” – as he could only see his tweet if he was logged in, meaning nobody else could see it.

Six days later, Twitter confirmed with Davis that they had deliberately shadow-banned his tweet in order to “keep people safe.”

“Twitter gave me no notice or explanation when it shadowbanned one of my Tweets about Russian interference in our elections,” wrote Davis, adding “But what’s worse is how Twitter apparently gives its users the fraudulent impression that their tweets, which Twitter secretly bans, are still public.”

In short, Twitter did not want the public to consider the irony of Hillary Clinton’s campaign paying for a foreign national to collude with Russians against Donald Trump, while the FBI scrambled to prove the Trump campaign did.

Unreal.

The ACLU Lobbies the United Nations to Assist Migrant Invasion at US Southern Border

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) claims to defend the rights of Americans, but the liberal organization tends to spend most of their resources on promoting migrants and abortions. They are even lobbying the United Nations (UN) to override the sovereignty of the United States to force them to accept more “refugees.”

Jamil Dakwar, the foreigner who serves as the director of the ACLU’s Human Rights Program (HRP), issued a statement to the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva. He is complaining that the Trump administration is ignoring the UN’s requests to meddle at the border.

“The Trump administration has escalated its hostility toward human rights bodies including the apparent severing of relationships with independent experts appointed to monitor and report on human rights violations,” Dakwar wrote in his statement.

Under Trump’s ‘America First’ policy, the UN has been frozen out of the oversight process. The Trump administration considers this a defense of US sovereignty, as the UN’s stated goal is to relocate third-world refugees into Western nations whenever possible regardless of the consequences for the host population.

“The United States remains engaged in the work of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights,” the State Department said in a statement released to The Guardian, “and strongly supports those special procedures and mandates that have proven effective in illuminating the most grave human rights environments, including in Iran and DPRK [North Korea].”

Felipe González Morales, the UN monitor on the human rights of migrants, is another globalist foreigner who is bemoaning President Trump’s ‘America First’ immigration policies.

“Passing the responsibility for the protection of these migrants to the Mexican authorities without proper guarantees as to their protection from return defies both the spirit and letter of international obligations,” he wrote.

While these globalists whine, Trump faces a serious crisis on the US southern border. More migrants are coming across the border than they have in over a decade, and it is causing disease and crime to arrive into the nation.

Even the smear artists at the New York Times was forced to cover the news backing up Trump’s rhetoric about a national emergency:

“More than 76,000 migrants crossed the border without authorization in February, an 11-year high and a strong sign that stepped-up prosecutions, new controls on asylum and harsher detention policies have not reversed what remains a powerful lure for thousands of families fleeing violence and poverty.

“The system is well beyond capacity, and remains at the breaking point,” Kevin K. McAleenan, commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, told reporters in announcing the new data on Tuesday.

The nation’s top border enforcement officer painted a picture of processing centers filled to capacity, border agents struggling to meet medical needs and thousands of exhausted members of migrant families crammed into a detention system that was not built to house them — all while newcomers continue to arrive, sometimes by the busload, at the rate of 2,200 a day.

“This is clearly both a border security and a humanitarian crisis,” Mr. McAleenan said.”

The ACLU, the UN, the Democratic Party, and other entities benefiting from the refugee resettlement industry are happy to facilitate this crisis for their own ends. Trump would be wise to continue ignoring them if he intends to fulfill his mandate and secure the border.
