Just to get through it, we trimmed his speech down (a lot) and put the 1812 overture finale behind it.

The Senate passed on a resolution Thursday, 59-41, that would end President Donald Trump’s national emergency. The vote featured strong Democrat support for the bill and a surprising amount of Republicans voting for it. The House passed its version of the resolution in February with the help of 13 Republicans.
Several Senate Republicans voted against President Trump’s national emergency.
Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), who previously signaled he would vote to end the emergency, said he will back Trump’s emergency after Trump said he will work with Republicans on a president’s national emergency authority. Tillis is up for re-election in 2020.
Sens. Cory Gardner (R-CO), Mike Braun (R-IN), Richard Shelby (R-AL), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Joni Ernst (R-IA), and Pat Roberts (R-KS) voted in favor of the national emergency.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) voted against the national emergency.
Many Senate Republicans have stood by the president and have said Trump is right to take action to secure the southern border.
Sen. Graham said in a statement on Thursday, “I voted with President Trump and rejected Nancy Pelosi’s motion of disapproval regarding the emergency declaration to build a barrier on the southern border.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said ahead of the vote that she will vote to keep Trump’s national emergency, stating:
Since Congress gave emergency powers to the executive branch in 1976 under the National Emergencies Act, presidents from both political parties have declared national emergencies in the United States over situations far less dire than the security and humanitarian crisis that is currently plaguing the southern border. The president and Congress must take swift action to secure our border, protect our citizens, and defend our sovereignty. I support President Trump’s declaration of a national emergency, and I reject the resolution of disapproval.
Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) told Breitbart News recently that, despite some media reports, there remains a “five-alarm crisis” at the southern border.
“There’s a five-alarm crisis going on down there. It’s not just the human traffic; it’s the drug traffic,” Perdue said in a statement to Breitbart News. “This is not just about building the wall; it’s about closing the loopholes and getting border patrol agents the resources they need.”
The Georgia conservative traveled in February to the southern border with Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) and witnessed first-hand the border crisis. Perdue told Breitbart News that the border crisis was “staggering.” The two Republicans saw illegal crossing hotspots and received real-time briefings from border patrol agents.
Daines told Breitbart News that he backs Trump’s national emergency, contending that without a secure border, every state is a border state.
“Montana is a northern border state with a southern border problem. Our communities all over Montana are being torn apart by the flood of Mexican meth coming through the southern border,” Daines said. “We must protect our citizens and secure the border.”
Many Republican senators have said they oppose any form of executive overreach, which includes former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) illegal alien amnesty.
However, one federal district judge ruled in August 2018 that DACA was illegal, whereas many lawyers have argued that Trump has the authority under the National Emergencies Act of 1976 to reappropriate money to build the wall.
The Senate vote announcement comes as a Morning Consult/Politico poll suggests that nearly three-quarters of Republican voters would more likely vote for a candidate if they backed Trump’s national emergency on the border.
In an interview with Breitbart News this week, President Trump said he found it “hard to believe” that any Republican would vote against his efforts to secure the border.

From the Free Beacon:
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a far-left nonprofit known for its “hate group” designations, has surpassed a half billion dollars in total assets and now has $121 million parked offshore, according to the group’s most recent financial statements.
[…]According to the filings submitted to California’s Office of Attorney General, the group reported total assets of $518 million from November 2017 to the Oct. 31, 2018, an increase of $41 million from the $477 million in total assets it reported on its previous year’s tax forms.
The SPLC’s assets increased despite its total revenue falling by $15 million last year. The SPLC hauled in $136 million in total revenue throughout 2017. This number fell to $121 million in 2018. Its contributions and grants also fell by more than $20 million from 2017 to 2018, from $132 million to $111 million.
Despite the fall in revenue, the SPLC’s vast investment portfolio expanded in 2018, which included a drastic increase in the amount of money it has parked overseas. By the end of 2018, its non-U.S. equity funds rose to $121 million, an uptick of nearly $30 million from the $92 million it had parked in offshoreinvestments throughout 2017.
The SPLC pushed the Jussie Smollett story:

They also pushed the Covington Catholic hoax:

“Fighting hate” is big business.

Ulf-Arvid Mejlænder, a former journalist himself, penned a scathing op-ed titled, “Say It as It Is,” which was surprisingly published by NRK, Norway’s government-owned media organization.
Mejlænder called out tactics employed by much of the Western press, asserting that key details about crimes are manipulated or left out completely when the perpetrators are migrants or have foreign backgrounds.
“We rarely get to know who commits gang rape, uses a knife or beats up casual victims in the new Norway,” Mejlænder wrote. “I get embarrassed when the media’s clouding of criminal ethnicity is so predictable that ‘the Norwegian’ and ‘Norwegian citizen’ become the code words for foreign origin.”
Mejlænder cited multiple recent examples of misleading coverage of stories involving migrant crime, concluding, “There is no pressure on politicians who repeat their ‘sleep in peace’ message, citing better integration as the solution to everything.”
“The gap between the risk of our multicultural experiment and the storytelling of the mainstream media must not grow larger.”

He also pointed out that major cultural and economic shifts are taking place due to Islamic migration, with very little accurate coverage by the press.
“Immigration costs are increasing, cultural conflicts are building up and Islam is gaining more and more space,” Mejlænder wrote. “The danger signals of our greatest social change process are clearly visible today, but traditional media show limited interest in exploring them. It weakens the press’s relevance and credibility.”
“…one has to go mainly to alternative media to gain knowledge about studies that show that anti-Western attitudes and intolerant interpretations of the Qur’an are relatively widespread among Muslims in Western countries.”

MARCH 13, 2019
The once mighty group tried to define itself for the future ahead of the end of its once vaunted “caliphate”, depicting its crumbling domain as the one place ruled by “God’s law” and promising it would one day be victorious.
The exhortation came in an audio recording and video released online by militants said to be inside the village of Baghouz, where they have been besieged for weeks and, in the past few days, under stepped up assault and bombardment by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces.
In one minute and a half long message, an unidentified Islamic State militant calls on Muslim “brothers, in Europe and in the whole world” to “rise against the Crusaders and … take revenge for your religion.” As the man speaks, cracks of gunfire can be heard in the background, apparently meant to suggest that he is in Baghouz. He said men, women and children in Baghouz are being subjected to a “holocaust by the Crusaders,” which is militant jargon for the U.S.-led coalition against IS.

In another video, a militant identified only as Abu Abdul-Azim talks the camera as he and his comrades eat soup — likely intended to show that the fighters still have food. A young boy sits next to him.
By the “standards of this world,” IS may seem to have been defeated, Abu Abdul-Azim says. “If we used to hold thousands of kilometers and now only a few kilometers remain, it is said that we lost. That is by the standards of this world. But the standards of the Other World and Almighty God are different,” he says.
“What is our crime? Why are we bombarded by war planes? Why has the entire world of infidels come together to fight us? …It is because we wanted to implement God’s Law,” he says with a smile. “There is no group in the world that ruled by the Quran and Sunna except this select group. That is victory. .. So we are patient. Victory and endurance means sticking to what God Almighty loves.”
Contrary to claims of its terrorist backers, Islamic State has suffered devastating losses in Syria under U.S. President Donald Trump that have decimated the group’s territorial caliphate, ultimately squeezing the jihadists into ever-shrinking pockets of land in Syria.
During its four year reign, the Islamic terror group became notorious for its atrocities, including massacres of opponents, enslavement and rape of Yazidi women and beheadings and vicious killings of those who violated its rules. For its supporters, the brutality was confirmation that the group would not compromise in its vision.
That is now in the past.
The Islamic State domain has been reduced to a tiny patch of land hardly a mile (1.6 kilometers) across. Several hundred fighters are believed to remain inside along with an unknown number of civilians, running out of food and ammunition among blasted houses and burned tents, cornered between the Euphrates River and a desert cliff near the Iraqi border.
Those who could escape, have. They are thought to be on the move and part of the giant diaspora seeking havens in sympathetic countries in the Middle East or moving in the human flow of “refugees” trying to get to Europe.
AP contributed to this report

CNN reports that the number of asylum seekers and other immigrant detainees, being held along the border in towns like El Paso, Texas, has spiked since last year, and that ICE and United States Customs and Border Protection are dealing with more seriously ill immigrants than every before.
“As of March 7, 2019, there was a total of 2,287 detainees cohorted for exposure to a detainee with a contagious condition,” an ICE spokesman said in a statement to media made earlier this week.
“In the past 12 months, there have been health investigations at 51 ICE detention facilities for mumps, chickenpox and influenza, according to [ICE officials],” CNN reports. “There have been 236 reported cases of mumps, with another 16 suspected cases during this time period.”
At least three children have died in CBP custody since November, after contrating life-threatening illnesses and infections on their journey north to the United States-Mexico border from their homes in Honduras or Guatemala. In at least two cases, border patrol tried to provide emergency medical care but they were simply too late; the childrens’ illnesses had advanced too far.
American immigration authorities are used to illegal immigrants and asylum seekers showing up to border patrol facilities exhibiting signs of illness, but over the past several years, most have eventually been disagnosed with influenza or the chicken pox — diseases that are still fairly common in the United States.
This past year, however, ICE and CBP officials have seen a major uptick in migrants with more serious, life-threatening illnesses, and dangerous communicable diseases like the mumps, which is spread through contact with bodily fluids and which could begin an outbreak among Americans if infected people are allowed to enter the general population.
The most serious outbreak has been in Texas, where around 200 people, aged 13-66, in a single border patrol facility are currently under quarantine for the mumps.
The situation poses problems not just for Americans, but also for migrants, and for the border patrol, whose facilities can’t withstand an influx of illegal immigrants with serious medical issues.
The New York Times reports that border facilities are already woefully understaffed to handle the sharp increase in asylum seekers — border patrol can now see up to 2,000 people crossing the border per day — and the facilities lag even further behind when called upon to handle hundreds of patients with life-threatening illnesses.
Border patrol knows the situation is critical, and is expected to announce major medical facility expansions “in the coming days,” the NYT says, and the Trump Administration is looking for a major health care provider to contract with the CBP to provide medical services — a contract they may be willing to pay more than $47 million to complete.
But the problem is that Border Protection isn’t a “humanitarian agency,” and isn’t supposed to be handling major disease outbreaks, leaving it at a loss for what to do about the thousands of criticially ill migrants who are showing up at the border every month.

Asked by Deputy Political Editor Amanda House during a wide-ranging, exclusive Oval Office interview with Breitbart News whether his administration is considering designating factions of cartels, or cartels as a whole, as terrorist groups, Trump replied that he is.
“We are. We are,” Trump said. “We’re thinking about doing it very seriously. In fact, we’ve been thinking about it for a long time.”
“It’s psychological, but it’s also economic,” Trump continued. “As terrorists — as terrorist organizations, the answer is yes. They are.”
The president went on to discuss the violence taking place in Mexico.
“Mexico, unfortunately, has lost control of the cartels,” Trump said. “They’ve totally lost control of the cartels. Mexico last year had 42,000 deaths — murders — 42,000. It’s considered one of the most unsafe countries in the world.”
“Now, I’m with them. I really like the new president. He’s a wonderful guy, but you know, 42,000 murders. A lot of it is drug-induced,” Trump continued.
Recalling his recent trips to the border in January and February, the president commented on how little media attention the horrors on the border receive, stating:
When I was down on the border in Rio Grande three weeks ago, they had 26 people killed right near where I was. And it was a gang fight, and they were buried on the site. That was right near the area that I was at. The papers don’t even write about it. You know, did you read about the 26 people killed? You don’t even read about it.
Back in January, Trump visited McAllen, Texas, and toured the border with Texas Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and John Cornyn (R-TX). In nearby Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, in Mexico, just about a two-hour drive away from McAllen, at about the same time, as Breitbart News’ Cartel Chronicles team reported then, cartel violence that resulted in two large-scale gun battles claimed the lives of 30 people. The Cartel Chronicles team of Breitbart News published several graphic photographs of the aftermath of the gun battles.
Later, in February, Trump held a rally in El Paso, Texas, in the El Paso Sector of the border. Breitbart News’ Cartel Chronicles team has published many examples of gruesome violence in Mexico near El Paso, including an October 2018 report from Robert Arce on the discovery of six decapitated bodies by authorities in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. Just this week, Arce followed up with another report on how three state police officers in Chihuahua were killed in a cartel ambush by drug cartel gunmen. The attack also left five cartel gunmen dead.
In February, U.S. Representatives Chip Roy (R-TX) and Dr. Mark Green (R-TN) sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting specific Mexican cartel factions be designated as FTOs.
In a letter to Pompeo obtained by Breitbart News, the congressmen wrote:
Numerous drug cartels employ terrorist tactics that clearly fit this definition, such as the Reynosa/Los Metros faction of the Gulf Cartel, the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel offshoot of the Sinaloa Cartel. These groups use terror to intimidate and to advance their agenda. They threaten the stability of governments across the globe. Even the United Nation’s Security Council has recognized the clear link between drug trafficking and terrorism.
Many drug cartels are based in Latin America, regions of which have seen decades of ruthless violence. According to a Congressional Research Service report, since 2006 there have been roughly 150,000 organized crime-related killings in Mexico alone. Additionally, Mexico’s Citizen’s Council for Public Security lists that forty-two of the fifty most violent cities in the world are in Latin America. Many of these cities are more dangerous than war zones. Drug cartels have committed heinous acts of terrorism, from carrying out bombings that have killed innocent people, conducting ISIS-style beheadings, assassinating government officials and members of law enforcement, and engaging in torture and indiscriminate murder.
Back in late January, too, Director of Breitbart’s Border and Cartel Chronicles projects Brandon Darby and Breitbart Border reporter Idelfonso Ortiz reported exclusively that an actual terrorist who had served time in a Mexican prison for bombing of a U.S. consulate in Mexico had taken the reins of a major drug cartel:
A verified and convicted terrorist who attacked a U.S. Consulate with a grenade and automatic rifle fire has taken over the ruthless Los Zetas cartel, a group headquartered at the Texas border in the Nuevo Laredo-Laredo metropolitan border area. Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, sits immediately across the border from Laredo, Texas, and is the only urban location along the entire U.S.-Mexico Border that does not have any fencing or constructed security barrier of any kind. The convicted terrorist, Hector Raul Luna Luna, is known as “El Tory” and was convicted in the 2008 terror attack on the U.S. Consulate in Monterrey, Mexico. He was released from prison due to bribes paid by Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) and has now taken over the dominant faction of Los Zetas, Cartel Del Noreste (CDN), to open up the lucrative and unsecured border corridor into Texas.
It remains to be seen what will happen from here but now the ball is in the administration’s court on what to do with the cartels.
In response to a follow-up question from Breitbart News’ Senior White House Correspondent Charlie Spiering, though, President Trump said the establishment media in America is at least beginning to acknowledge the crisis that is on the border–despite the lack of coverage of cartel violence on both sides of the border.
“By the way, I can’t believe it. They’re finally starting to admit it,” Trump said when Spiering noted that some in the media are finally admitting that there is a crisis on the border. “But I was there 4 weeks ago, 26 people were killed and I didn’t see one story about it. It’s pretty incredible. But you’re right though, I can’t believe it. I actually saw in the Washington Post and the New York Times over the last couple of days.”

Created by Brock, the document was given out at a private meeting with deep-pocketed liberals/leftists in January. The meeting was led by David Brock, founder of Media Matters and a close ally of George Soros who also provides much of his funding.
On the surface, it’s a plan to influence the media and the public over the next four years but, at its core, it is a plan to manipulate and control the populace.
The nuanced document claims the moral high-ground and insists they have the “moral responsibility” to fight the right-wing.
The talk of impeachment is Media Matters idea; controlling Google and Facebook is their idea; delegitimizing Trump’s presidency and Republicans – their idea; partnering with Facebook and Google to fight so-called “fake news” – theirs.
Everything they outlined is taking place.
For the next four years, Media Matters will, according to the document, fight right-wing “misinformation” and “propaganda”; “Google and Facebook” will not “enrich fake news sites and propagandists” [they will punish the sites if they don’t cooperate]; “alt-right social media harassment campaigns…will be punished and halted.
They are in fact going after everything right-wing.
They have a goal of promoting good journalism but it is based on their view that the right-wing is extreme and the mainstream news is journalism.
Their issues include correcting “misinformation” on left-wing issues of LGBT, workers’ rights, treatment of immigrants (illegal), gun control, gender equality, reproductive health (abortion on demand), climate and energy and economic policy [tax, spend, regulate]. If you look at their Progressive agenda, which includes identity politics, and compare it to that of the Communist Party USA, you will find them comparable.
Gateway Pundit has been analyzing it and pulled out the following paragraph indicating they have the raw data from social media sites.
“Media Matters has already secured access to raw data from Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites. We have also put in place the technology necessary to automatically mine white nationalist message boards and alt-right communities for our archive.

We will now develop technologies and processes to systematically monitor and analyze this unfiltered data.”
With the raw data, they can control every facet of social media and, as a result, the minds of readers.
For example, on p. 43, they wrote they were building an algorithm at the time of printing that is “specifically designed to amplify negative content for Trump and deliver positive content to bolster the resistance. Further, by pulling the most widely shared progressive content from the top 1,000 social media accounts, Shareblue’s algorithm will not only aggregate, but drive news and opinion.” [Shareblue is their left-wing answer to Breitbart].
Also, Media Matters has mapped the right-wing “fake news” sites, prioritized them, and has helped Google tailor their policies for advertising to shut these sites out.
They are behind the shutting down of the right on Facebook and Google by their own admission (p.12).
Having a wide reach isn’t enough, they want to recruit and train other bloggers to call out and shut down the right-wing. With the raw data and the cooperation of Google and Facebook, it won’t be hard for them to do and we already see it happening.
They also have the opposition research thanks to American Bridge. It’s American Bridge’s job to research, collect, store and disseminate their huge database of information to level the opposition.
The President of Media Matters, they admit, shut down Glenn Beck and got advertisers to pull ads from Limbaugh.
This document was printed before O’Reilly was forced off the air but The New York Times already published an article stating Media Matters spearheaded the silencing of O’Reilly by bullying his advertisers.
They say they derailed Rudy Giuliani’s cabinet nomination using their knowledge of his business connections.
They take credit for driving up the Koch brothers’ negatives. Koch’s money is “dark money” but theirs isn’t.
They are opposed to right-wing radio hosts, Fox News and now information from government agencies because of Trump. They admit they kept Murdoch from expanding.
The document explains how they obliterated Senators Richard Luger and Todd Akin.
Through American Bridge, they are doing opposition research on Republicans to enable “Progressives” [they don’t say Democrats] defeat them in 2017 and 2018.
They have mapped out Donald Trump’s network of businesses and they have the largest video archive. “The campaign to stop him must be nonstop”.
Indeed it is.
On p.22, they talk about finding candidates to compete for Senate seats and Republicans are worried. Five seats will have competitors who are far-left but were also veterans or had some other impressive feature we normally see on the resume of a right-wing candidate.
They are going after every gubernatorial and legislative race.
At one point in the document, they talk about the Trump War Room (p.17, p.20-21) to keep Donald Trump unpopular.
Using Trump’s business empire as a target, their watchdog group CREW will keep up unrelenting pressure. Targeting all powerful special interests they oppose is on the list.
CREW takes responsibility for 40% of the fines passed out by the FEC in 2016. CREW has an army of pro bono lawyers according to the document.
Shareblue (P.41) is their antidote to Breitbart.
Their editorial priorities are to get Trump, tying him to Russia, and to destroy Pence.
Goals include calling out so-called signs of authoritarianism and championing those who warn us (Antifa?); nonstop coverage of the influence of Vladimir Putin and Russia on Trump and his administration; exposing Trump as weak, a thin-skinned “loser” vulnerable to goading; relentless beating the drum that he has no mandate, didn’t win the popular vote, and is the least popular president in U.S. history.
They are behind the movement to call out Trump’s alleged “conflicts of interest” and the movement to characterize the right as “subversives of the nation’s interests”.
The remainder of the goals are to highlight Trump’s supposed ties to white supremacists, track odious GOP legislation, track and comment on SCOTUS decisions, give positive coverage of Trump critics [it will be profitable], expose media journalists who “normalize Trump”.
To conclude, this is the outline of the assault from the far-left in a war for our culture and our freedoms.
In a footnote to this, several of the Wikileaks documents from Soros’s Open Society Foundation exposed their plan to control all media. Soros is known to have significant financial influence over 30 newspapers and other media outlets. Another Wikileaks email from Open Society revealed their plan to take over every government entity, from the smallest village to the presidency. They thought they were poised to do it until Trump won the presidency.
Soros, who funds Brock and Media Matters also funds Facebook’s “fake news” initiative.

By
The old audio from a decade ago surfaced from a Media Matters operative, a progressive group funded by George Soros.
Operatives from the organization had hoped that Carlson would profusely apologize, back down, and retire from public life, thus silencing a leading critic of the progressive left’s push for total political, social and cultural control over American life.
Media Matters had been hoping for a “apology,” potentially creating a window for the progressive hate mob to flood Fox with calls for Tucker’s firing.
Instead, the Tuck fired back with a scathing takedown of the progressive mob that will leave the Soros-funded operatives with a rhetorical smackdown they won’t soon forget.
Watch here:
Tucker’s takedown of classic and time-tested leftist character assassination tactics could represent the first chink in neutralizing them as one of the most effective political tools of the progressive left.
Liberals are compelled to try and oust individuals like Tucker because he represents a threat to their political power- not because they’re genuinely morally outraged over a few jokes Tucker told a radio host ten years ago.
Tucker brought up the Covington Catholic hate hoax earlier this year- highlighting it as an example of another incident when conservative leaders were all-but prepared to let a few innocent boys be defamed by progressives.
Yet, a few fearless truth-seekers stood up, standing up to the mob and exposing a dastardly hate hoax.
The sooner conservatives, patriots and right wingers learn to simply shrug off the “deceit and enforced silence” demanded of them by progressives, the sooner the left becomes utterly powerless and doomed in the American political arena.
