12 people fined for violating new Danish ‘burqa ban’ law

The new law against facial coverings in public in Denmark was introduced six months ago. Since then, 20 people have been served with suspicion of the crime classification, and twelve of those were then also convicted.

The law came into force on 1 August, 2018. Anyone who defies the ban risks a €135 fine, a sum that is raised to €1,350 if it happens on repeated occasions.

Exceptions can be made when there is a so-called reasonable purpose, such as cold weather. In such cases, it will be up to the police to determine whether or not an offense has been committed.

The law was voted through with a large majority in the Danish Parliament Folketinget, 75 votes in favour and 30 against.
There is agreement that the garments are oppressive of women and incompatible with Danish values. The Danish People’s Party, which originally proposed the ban, wanted to go a step further and impose prison sentences for violations of the ban.

Until 15 January of this year, 105 reports of violations of the masking ban have been made and twelve people have been fined.

However, the statistics from the Danish police do not reveal exactly how many cases are related to the Muslim burqa or other types of masks – at least one case is said to not be about either a burqa or niqab.

At the Danish People’s Party, migration policy spokesperson Martin Henriksen says that the figures show that the law has had a real effect and that they are now on the right path.

Muslims in NYC are carrying out “community patrols” in Brooklyn while driving cars that look almost identical to NYPD vehicles, leading some to describe the situation as “Sharia Police”.

The New York Times wrote a lengthy, glowing piece about the patrols, with one hijab-wearing Muslim woman commenting that they made her feel safe from harassment.

“With everything going on, you sort of feel like the whole world is against Muslims,” she said. “So it feels good to know that there is someone there, watching out.”

According to CAIR, the group is the first of its kind in the entire country, and a justifiable response to the “14 bias-crime incidents recorded against Muslims” last year (in a city of 8.6 million people).

The group’s vice president Noor Rabah said the patrols were “like a neighborhood watch but on steroids”. Currently boasting 30 members, the group plans to grow “its fleet of two cars to five by the end of the month and eventually expanding citywide.”

“Not at all comfortable with this. ‘Muslim Community Patrol’ in NYC, driving cars that look identical to NYPD RMPs,” commented John Cardillo, adding, “This looks a lot like Sharia Police. In Brooklyn.”

Similar “patrols” in East London didn’t turn out to be so community-friendly, with hardline Islamists attempting to “impose Sharia law on unsuspecting members of the public.”

Minister Szijjarto: “Hungary maintains zero tolerance stance on migration”

Hungary has a policy of zero tolerance for migration and will never back any document that uses the UN’s global migration compact as a point of reference, foreign minister Peter Szijjarto said, responding to a query by MTI.

Peter Szijjarto commented on recent reports by several Hungarian news portals citing a German news agency’s EU diplomatic source as saying that Hungary’s government has refused all of the European Union’s offers of a compromise on a joint position on migration, and has isolated itself within the bloc.

“Pro-migration politicians are continuing to run amok”, the minister said. Every EU document will try to refer to the UN’s global migration compact in spite of the fact that nine EU member states did not vote for it, he added.

Szijjarto said the Hungarian government will never support the compact, which he said wanted to facilitate immigration. “A document on which there is no unanimous agreement by all member states cannot be a point of reference”, he said.

The minister added that Hungary’s isolation “has long been a pipe dream for those who support migration”. “Anyone who says no to migration will continue to be our ally”, he said.

49 per cent of knife crime perpetrators in the capital are teenaged or younger, with 41 per cent of offenders aged between 15 and 19 and eight per cent aged between ten and 14

Half of all knife crime in London is carried out by people aged 19 and under, and three quarters of offenders are from minority ethnic groups, the latest figures show.

Statistics from the London Metropolitan Police revealed that 49 per cent of knife crime perpetrators in the capital are teenaged or younger, with 41 per cent of offenders aged between 15 and 19 and eight per cent aged between ten and 14.

Chief Superintendent Ade Adelekan, head of the Met’s Violent Crime Task Force, said the figures illustrate how “more and more young” people were getting caught up in knife crime.

“Violence is top of the agenda for the Met and knife crime injury victims under 25 are 15 per cent down,” he said, telling an event held by policy debate forum Westminster Insight that figures were “heading in the right direction”.

“Part of our success around this has been down to increasing our use of stop and search,” he explained, reporting a “significant” boost in the use of the tactic in recent months.

The police chief admitted officers have needed to “re-educate” themselves on the correct way to conduct a stop and search, with many losing the “art and skill” in the years since Theresa May, then home secretary, demanded drastic cuts to their use of the power, which she alleged was “unfair, especially to young black men”.

Regarding the ethnic profile of people involved in knife crime, Mr Adelekan said that 73 per cent of offenders and 53 per cent of victims were from a black or ethnic minority background, the Evening Standard reports.

Knife crime in the capital reached a record high last year under London mayor Sadiq Khan, rising 15 per cent to reach 14,987 offences in total — a figure representing 38 per cent of all blade-related crime across England and Wales.

While the Labour mayor performed a U-turn on his campaign promise to slash the use of stop and search, other figures in his party remain fiercely opposed to the policing tactic, insisting the only solution to spiralling violence in the capital is further “investment” in youth activity centres and social work.

Other than his flip on stop and search, however, Mayor Khan has largely rejected pleas for a return to a law and order-style policing to tackle the problem, instead launching a “public health approach” to violent crime, which he continues to insist is a matter of insufficient funding from central government.

Finland Offering Bribes, Plane Tickets to Migrants to Go Home

Finland is offering substantial monetary incentives to migrants in the hopes they will return to their home countries voluntarily.

The Finnish Immigration Service has announced large increases in cash and commodity subsidies for 2019, in some cases double those of 2018 offerings.

Migrants who are unable to fund their return trip home can receive up to 2,000 euros cash and a free plane ticket if they are from a lengthy list of “Group A” countries, which include Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

Alternately, they can opt to receive “commodity support” of as much as 5,000 euros to cover expenses such as “assistance in finding an apartment” or “setting up your own business.”

Additional sums are offered on a per-child basis.

“We want to encourage going home because it is always a cheaper option than returning to the police or staying here illegally,” Tarja Rantala, project manager of the Volunteer Return to Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia project, told YLE.

“We have many in the reception system with many negative decisions and it becomes expensive. One day at the reception center is 50 euros per head, so at 100 days it will already be 5,000 euros.”

YLE reports the Finnish government distributed some 5.3 million euros between 2016 and 2018 in voluntary return support and flights for migrants, the vast majority of whom were Iraqis.

However, a steep drop-off in voluntary returns from 1,422 in 2017 to 646 in 2018 has raised concerns over where rejected asylum seekers are going.

“A significantly larger number – about 7,400 people since 2015 – has simply disappeared,” YLE reports. “They have either stayed in Finland without a residence permit, returned to their home country, or they have left Finland for the rest of Europe.”

“Police data supports the latter. In 2016–2018, more than 5,100 asylum seekers were found in other EU countries. EU countries are trying to return these people to Finland, which is responsible for their removal from the EU.”

An explosive ‘grooming gang’ crisis is currently rocking Finland as a slew of investigations into migrant men sexually abusing children as young as 10 have been opened in the cities of Oulu, Helsinki, and beyond.

Doctor and former MP Marcus Franz says white girls in Vienna, Austria have begun wearing Islamic headscarves to prevent street harassment by male Muslim migrants.

During an appearance on OE24, Franz revealed that in migrant-heavy areas fathers were telling their daughters to wear hijabs so as to disguise the fact that they are non-Muslim.

“Speak with women on the street, speak with children, speak with young girls, I myself know fathers who, when their daughters who are coming home in the evening, when they live in a problem area, give them headscarves so they won’t be recognized as Austrians,” said Franz.

“I know this personally, in the 15th district (Vienna), this is a fact,” he added, saying that women were afraid because of “permanent micro-aggressions” and being sexually propositioned by Muslim men.

He added that the girls were being “propositioned with unpleasant aggression and attitudes, and the girls and women, quite simply, are afraid.”

“You can see it in the population if you work in a social profession like me,” remarked Franz, adding, “We need to distinguish clearly between the settled population and those who have arrived more recently.”

The story bears some similarities to how some German girls in migrant-heavy schools are also wearing hijabs to prevent bullying.

As we previously reported, a mother in Germany whose daughter was being bullied by Muslim students because she was blonde, Christian and didn’t wear a headscarf was told by the headmaster of a school in Frankfurt to cover her up with a hijab.

The mother of the student told BILD that her daughter was being bullied by Muslim girls to such a degree that she had to “take them out of school for protection.”

“She was beaten and verbally attacked on the way to school,” said the mother, explaining that abuse was because her daughter has blonde hair, doesn’t wear a headscarf, has a German-Hebrew name and is a Christian.

When the headmaster was informed of the situation, he advised the mother to cover up her daughter with a hijab.

“Your daughter does not have to say that she is German. Besides, you can give her a headscarf!” she was told.

FRENCH POLICE CAUGHT ON TAPE SAYING TO ‘SHOOT’ YELLOW VESTS

French Police Caught on Tape Saying to ‘Shoot’ Yellow Vests

A female officer is then heard saying, “we have to shoot!” to which another male officer replies, “When I tell you to, line up two or three rounds.”

An investigation has been launched in Tolouse after officers were caught on tape saying they wanted to “shoot” violent Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Vest) protesters.

The footage comes from the Yellow Vest protest on Saturday, January 12th, where protesters and hooligans clashed with police for nearly 16 hours and was recorded at the police command room where officers were watching the scenes of violence unfold on several monitors, broadcaster France 3 reports.

Several officers are heard in the recording including both female and male officers with one male officer saying, “The fuckers! There’s one on the ground there,” and another commenting, “What a bunch of bastards!”

A female officer is then heard saying, “we have to shoot!” to which another male officer replies, “When I tell you to, line up two or three rounds.”

While the video was recorded on January 12th, it was not released until January 31st by the Vigi police union which commented on the audio saying “the words of the policemen have exceeded their thoughts,” and that the officers reacted out of surprise and shock at the video feed they were watching.

The Haute-Garonne prefecture released a statement announcing an investigation saying, “This scene of rare violence provoked the emotion of people watching these images live, resulting in spontaneous comments.

“The Departmental Directorate immediately opened an administrative investigation for breach of professional secrecy and concealment, so that all light is shed on these facts.”

The leaked recording comes after police have been criticised for their tactics during the Yellow Vest protests, in particular, the use of “flashball” ammunition which is thought to be responsible for some of the most serious injuries.

French doctors have also spoken out about the injuries suffered by Yellow Vest protesters saying that the number of serious injuries, which have included several losing eyes and hands, has been unprecedented.

The theme of police brutality and violence was highlighted in the most recent “Act XII” protest with Yellow Vests denouncing police tactics.

GENERAL World Hijab Day vs. No Hijab Day

Today is World Hijab Day ánd No Hijab Day. In Rotterdam, the Netherlands, there was a pro-hijab manifestation. Quite embarassing for the women behind the No Hijab-movement…

At Rotterdam Blaak Station in The Netherlands people could experience what it is like to wear the islamic headscarf. “We want to remove the prejudices about the headscarf”, said Sobia Laghari, one of the activists, on Radio Rijnmond. “We also want to introduce people to their own tradition, as wearing a headscarf was also done in the Netherlands in the Middle Ages.”

Sobia does realize that these are not easy discussions. “Many of the prejudices state that headscarves would be oppressive, that there is no question of freedom, we want to show today that it is different.”

In the tent women could experience what it’s like to wear a headscarf. “We think that a headscarf gives us freedom”,  Sobia said. “We do not have to comply with an ideal picture of what a woman should look like.”

Oppressive, that’s exactly how women on the other side of the spectrum think about the hijab. The No Hijab Movement started as a counter-protest to World Hijab Day, which is supported by 180 countries.

Yasmine Mohammed tells that wearing a hijab was never a choice for her growing up.

And so just a few days before World Hijab Day she announced that she was going to be burning a hijab and wanted people to join her in protest of this idea that the hijab is this completely innocuous piece of cloth. She wanted to stand in solidarity with the women who can be harassed and abused and imprisoned and even killed for not wearing it. Because that’s what we should talk about.

On social media the hashtag #FreeFromHijab was used for pictures from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait, Canada, Sweden, France – all over the world. Some women are in hijab, some are posting before and after pictures of hijab that they used to wear and the fact that they are now free from hijab. It gave women a chance to celebrate not only the mental constraints from the ideology behind wearing a hijab, but the physical constraint of wearing a cloth over their heads.

YouTube Broke Its Own Search Engine to Rig the Algorithm For the Corporate Media

Direct word for word searches for videos made by independent creators now return a wall of MSM results

Google-owned YouTube has broken its own search engine in order to favor corporate media outlets, with direct word for word searches of video titles now returning a wall of mainstream media results instead of the actual video searched for.

As Mark Dice illustrates in the video below, searching for “Celebrities React to Hillary Losing Election,” the title of a Dice video which has over six million views, instead results in pages of links to different videos from mainstream news outlets, all of which have far less views.

“My video has more views than all of these videos combined but still it is nowhere to be found,” comments Dice.

Dice provides another example, a video titled “Michelle Obama Trashes Hillary Clinton”. Once again, instead of a search query returning the right result, the top result is from Hillary Clinton’s official channel, with other results coming from the likes of CNN, ABC News and Inside Edition.

Dice’s video, which has over two million views, only appears on page 4, below videos such as one from a local TV news station which has just 750 views.

Even after these changes were made, YouTube doubled down by announcing it would stop recommending videos that contained “conspiracy theory” content or were deemed to be ‘misleading’.

This was in reaction to a BuzzFeed article which conflated conspiracy theory content with videos by mainstream conservative commentators like Ben Shapiro, Prager University and philosopher Jordan Peterson.

YouTube was also previously caught gaming their algorithm to heavily favor left-wing narratives on hot button issues such as abortion.

Even some of YouTube’s top creators and people who helped build the platform from the start such as Shane Dawson are being punished.

After YouTube made its decision to bury “conspiracy theory” content, Dawson uploaded a video to his 20 million subscribers called ‘Conspiracy Theories With Shane Dawson’.

The video was de-monetized for hours, with Dawson losing out on tens of thousands of dollars in ad revenue.

The whole farce once again illustrates how YouTube is being gamed to the advantage of big corporations while independent creators are getting screwed over.
