Alyssa Milano mocks amputee veteran’s massive border wall crowdfunding, gets Twitter-flogged

The actress-turned-Democratic firebrand was left red-faced as after she took aim at the crowdfunding campaign to build a border wall between the US and Mexico, now at over $13mn. In a tweet on Thursday, Milano wrote:Â “Oh, yes! Let’s #GoFundTheWall while not taking care of our veterans. Cool. Cool. Cool.”

It was not long before the tweet ignited a firestorm on Twitter, as many noticed Milano hand’t done her homework, as the GoFundMe page was started by Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage, a Purple Heart recipient, who lost three limbs in a rocket attack in Iraq.
The campaign, with a designated goal of $1bn, started less than a week ago and has already shot up to be one of the five top GoFundMe campaigns ever.
Milano’s fellow Hollywood celebrity and outspoken conservative James Woods led the backlash against her, pointing out who started the fund.

Many actual veterans chimed in, tweeting at Milano that they have backed the crowdfunding campaign, while others accused her of preying on the cause she did not seem to care about before.
“Bring Vets up when it’s convenient for you. Any other day you could care less,” one Guser wrote.

People argued that building the wall and helping veterans are not incompatible tasks and can both be done at the same time.
Milano, one of the most prominent #MeToo movement stars, has been rallying behind virtually every anti-Trump and pro-Democratic cause, often using her Twitter with its 3.48 million followers to spew vitriol at Trump, calling him a “piece of sh*t” and “evil creature” for the treatment of caravan migrants at the US-Mexican border in November.
However, just like this time, back then Milano was accused of hypocrisy and poor research. She was reminded that border agents used the exact same means â pepper spray â to repel rock-throwing migrants at the border when Obama was in office.

Another Saturday in Paris: Smoke & scuffles, more than 100 Yellow Vests detained
The atmosphere at the Yellow Vest protests in the heart of the French capital has become more strained as demonstrators engage in scuffles with police officers.
Tensions rose hours into the rallies and police resorted to force against the rioters near the artistic Montmartre district in the north of the capital.
Scuffles also broke out near Madeleine Church, some 2km from Montmartre. Protesters were also seen near the iconic Louvre Museum and Sacre-Coeur Basilica. More than 100 people have been detained, according to the Paris Police Prefecture.
France has been hit by a sixth consecutive weekend of Yellow Vest rallies. Previous protests turned violent, with demonstrators hurling stones and fireworks at police, while law enforcement resorted to using tear gas and water cannon. The mayhem has left almost 3,000 people, both protesters and police officers, injured. Over 4,500 have been detained and placed into custody since mid-November.

Facebook Allows Terrorist Who Beheaded Canadian Tourist To Keep Account & Actively Post

An investigation has been launched in Canada after it was revealed that one of the Abu Sayyaf militants who beheaded Canadian tourists John Ridsdel and Robert Hall, in the Philippines is still actively posting on the social media site.
Screenshots captured on Facebook page of Bhen Tatuh appear to show the jihadis holding the decapitated heads of the Canadian tourists, as well as pictures with the ISIS flag and a suicide vest.

Facebook, which has made an active effort to silence Conservatives, Jews, and Christians, was unavailable for comment as to why they are allowing jihadi killers to use their platform to post terrorist propaganda.

Something must be said about how Facebook has found it necessary to ban Conservative Jewish journalists like myself, Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, and other Conservatives like Alex Jones, Gavin McInnes, Tommy Robinson, but if youâre a terrorist, youâre allowed to use Facebook. Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, Louis Farrakhan, and Iranian dictators who chant âdeath to Israelâ and âdeath to Americaâ all have verified Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Are freedom loving Conservatives a bigger threat than Islamic terrorists who are decapitating innocent young women?
Last week, Facebook banned  Yair Netanyahu, the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a post critical of Islamic terrorists.
How is it that a Jewish Conservative journalist and the Israeli Prime Ministerâs son get banned on social media for posting facts about Islam, actual Islamic terrorists are allowed to post pictures of themselves beheading innocent people?
Through their pro-Sharia terms of service, Facebook and Twitter are clearly signaling that itâs ok to be a terrorist, but not ok to be a Conservative, or a Jew.

Canadaâs Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been made aware of the Facebook posts, but as usual, he has sided with terrorists over Canadians and has yet to condemn Facebook.
Perhaps Mark Zuckerberg and Trudeau will be confronted and asked about their jihadi fetish someday.
As you can see, something is very wrong with this âSilicon Valley Sharia.â

Neocons and Media Unite to Attack Trumpâs Syria Decision
By Mark Alan
President Trumpâs decision to withdraw US troops from Syria has been met with some push back among neoconservatives and the media. Although the move seems consistent with the presidents previous statements about the conflict, that didnât stop some from expressing shock over the decision. Undoubtedly, the two loudest voices among Republicans were Senators Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio.
Graham called the move an âObama-likeâ mistake. Rubio, apparently trying to establish himself as the leading figure of the neoconservative movement, went as far as calling the presidentâs decision a âretreat.â Graham and Rubio have both expressed past support for using the US military to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The response from many in the media hasnât been too different from that of the neocons. CNNâs Erin Burnett strongly condemned President Trumpâs decision. She said the president was giving Vladimir Putin an early Christmas present by withdrawing US soldiers from Syria. However, she failed to articulate why she believes the lives of US soldiers are less valuable than the alleged disruption between the US and Russia.
Burnett wasnât the only CNN personality to attack the president for his decision. CNNâs Fareed Zakaria also bashed the withdraw of US troops from Syria. He claimed President Trump was making an even bigger mistake than former president George W Bushâs âmission accomplishedâ fiasco during the Iraq War. Itâs worth noting that Zakaria is one of many prominent members of the media who supported the decision to invade Iraq.
Anchors from other networks also condemned the presidentâs choice to withdraw troops from Syria. Fox Newsâ Brian Kilmeade called Trumpâs decision âstunning and irresponsible.â He also suggested the president was âcutting and running.â MSNBCâs Joe Scarborough expressed similar sentiments on his show this morning.
The reaction of the neoconservatives and like minded members of the media shouldnât come as a surprise to anyone. The two groups have united numerous times in the past, salivating at the idea of a ground war to overthrow Assad in Syria. Thankfully, peace has prevailed.
United States military forces have been in Syria for over four years. The first known instance of American troops fighting on the ground in Syria occurred in July of 2014, as part of a hostage rescue operation. The Global War on Terror has already cost US tax payers nearly 6 trillion dollars. To provide that number some context, the combined value of the entire US housing market is worth about 30 trillion dollars.
Elsewhere, President Trumpâs decision has been met with praise. Senators Mike Lee and Rand Paul both applauded the presidentâs withdraw of troops from Syria. Senator Paul saidthe presidentâs decision is another example of Trump keeping his campaign promises. Paul further defended the move, saying the presidentâs decision in Syria illustrates why he won the 2016 election.

More countries will not sign UN Migration Pact â Hungarian FM

IRENA IRIS SZEWCZYK
By LAURA CAT 19 December 2018
At a hearing of the Foreign Affairs Committee on Monday, foreign minister Péter Szijjårtó tells Parliament that there are at least 13 countries set to vote against the UN Migration compact on 19 December.
The countries who will vote against the plan include the Visegråd Four group of Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, as well, Bulgaria, Latvia, Austria, the United States, Israel, Australia, Dominica and Brazil, Péter told at the hearing.
Minister SzijjĂĄrtĂł also has asserted that Hungary will also reject the âsister documentâ, which has been hailed as even worse than the Migration pact, The Global Compact on Refugees.
This is is said to allow migrants to enter Europe âthrough a backdoorâ and as the minister said, âHungarian communities across the border will not be sacrificed for geopolitical interests or under international pressureâ.
Referring to the âunbelievable pressureâ western allies have deployed on Hungary in the effort to have Hungary relinquish its position vetoing Ukraineâs NATO integration, the foreign minister insists that Hungary would stand firm until âUkraine drops its anti-Hungarian policiesâ.
The Fed Is Expected To Raise Interest Rates In Spite Of Stock Market Stumbling

The United Statesâ central bank, the Federal Reserve, is expected to raise interest rates again, in spite of a stock market thatâs been stumbling and on track for the worst December since the Great Depression.
According to NPR, the Fed last raised rates in September. Since then, the U.S. economy has given off mixed signals. The job market remains strong, with unemployment at the lowest level in nearly 50 years and economic growth clocked in at a solid 3.5 percent in the third quarter. But the stock market is stumbling and home sales and car sales have slumped because of the higher interest rates. Not to mention the ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China which have led to growing fears about the outlook for the global economy.
President Donald Trump has even taken to Twitter to announce the Fedâs plan to hike interest rates again.

The decision to raise the interest rate will affect the rates on all kinds of borrowing, from home mortgages to credit cards. The 30-year mortgage rate in the past year climbed from 3.95 percent to a peak of nearly 5 percent in November, which is a seven-year high. It has since dropped to 4.63 percent, still higher than most borrowers would want.
Trump also called the Fed the âgreatest threatâ in October in an interview with Fox Business, and has singled out Fed chairman Jerome Powell for harsh criticisms., of which the central bank is in desperate need of. The Fed is answerable to no one and usually insulated from political pressure. Presidents in recent times, including Trumpâs predecessors, Barack Obama, and George W. Bush, have refrained from overtly criticizing the central bank, probably because they collude with the government for economic destruction.

Meanwhile, Powell has said that the economic outlook remains solid and that interest rates are nearly within a âneutralâ range which seems to be indicating that the Fed may not be immediately worried about any inflation. âInterest rates are still low by historical standards,â he said in November.
Stock prices have fallen sharply since early November and it is somewhat rare for the Fed to raise rates in the face of a sustained market selloff. So thereâs an outside chance the Fed could change course and pull a stunner by keeping rates steady at the Wednesday meeting.

Belgian PM resigns after UN migrant pact row results in no confidence motion
Belgian PM Charles Michel
Belgiumâs Prime Minister Charles Michel has announced his immediate resignation after a no-confidence motion against his government was introduced.
Speaking to the parliament, Michel admitted that his call for a âcoalition of the willingâ to govern until the next election â scheduled for May 2019 â had ânot been heard,â adding that he would respect this outcome and resign.
His speech received standing ovation, according to the Belgian media.
ALSO ON RT.COMMigration not a ‘human right’: Austria refuses to join global UN-backed migration pactMichel’s decision came after the opposition Green and Socialist parties tabled a no-confidence motion against his government. The move was allegedly provoked by the ruling coalitionâs failure to agree on some budget proposals.
The Belgian government was already weakened earlier this month, when the center-right New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), which is actually the largest political force in the parliament, quit the ruling coalition citing disagreements with its partners over the controversial UN Migration Pact. Michel had to reshuffle his cabinet and planned to make his government continue its work as a minority one.
The UN-backed pact that has turned out to be a stumbling block for the Belgian government was approved by more than 160 nations in Marrakech, Morocco earlier in December.
ALSO ON RT.COMDivided nations: UN migration pact sows discord as states turn away & face domestic tensionsSome nations have openly opposed it, while many others, including Belgium, witnessed widespread protests of their citizens against it. The US, which was the first to openly oppose the pact, said the agreement was âdead even before it’s been signed.â
Although the text is not legally binding and is regarded as more of a declaration, the pact is worded in a way that encourages domestic courts and authorities to consider it when making decisions based on interpretations of their laws.
Such provisions have prompted Austria, Hungary, Israel and several other countries to reject the pact. Critics claim that the deal is inadequate for managing global migration flows and might negatively affect their national immigration policies.
