Rashida Tlaib Says She Was "Afraid" of Americans After 9/11

Democratic Congresswoman says post-September 11 atmosphere made her “angry”

 | Infowars.com – APRIL 26, 2019

Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib says she was “afraid” of her fellow Americans after 9/11 and that their reaction to the terror attacks made her “angry”.

In an interview with Makers, Tlaib said; “I was probably my second year in law school when 9/11 happened and I was really terrified of what was going to happen to my husband, who’s only a green card holder at the time”.

“I immediately called my brothers and told them to be very careful who you hang out with, telling my sisters, you know, just be real careful out there,” said Tlaib, who emphasized that she was “really afraid of my fellow Americans” after the attack.

The Democratic Congresswoman said the whole experience made her “angry” and more determined to become involved in politics.

Quite how Tlaib thought she was the victim after the slaughter of thousands of Americans by Islamic extremists is not elaborated upon in the interview.

Amy Mek posted the interview alongside footage (confirmed to be accurate) of Palestinians celebrating in the streets on the day of 9/11.

Tlaib has repeatedly emphasized her pride in her Palestinian heritage, which some have cited to accuse her of being a closet Islamist.

While no one is suggesting that Tlaib was glad 9/11 happened, her bizarre comments about the attack are on a par with Rep. Ilhan Omar’s equally absurd statement when she described the terror outrage as “some people (who) did something”.

Tlaib has repeatedly defended Omar, suggesting that criticism of her statement is akin to inciting violence.

AOC Mistakes Fellow Democrat as ‘Older Male’ Republican, Mocks Him for Posing with Cardboard Cutout of Her

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on Thursday apparently mistook one of the most prominent Democrats in the House as a Republican, and mocked him for taking a photo with a cardboard cutout of her in a tweet.

The freshman congresswoman shared a tweet by the Republican Party of Kentucky that featured the House Budget Committee Chairman John Yarmuth (D-KY) taking a photo next to a cardboard cutout of her.

Apparently not realizing who Yarmuth was, she mocked him by tweeting, “GOP: Let’s pose our older male members next to cardboard cutouts of young female legislators”:

After Twitter users began to point out her mistake, she deleted the tweet.

It is not the first time the 29-year-old Democrat has made an embarrassing gaffe on Twitter. She mixed up the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan just last month.

Ocasio-Cortez said recently on Yahoo’s Skullduggery podcast that she writes all her own tweets.

Her mistaking Yarmuth for an “older male” member of the Republican Party will likely not endear her to Democrat membership, who have increasingly made disparaging comments about her.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) recently said a “glass of water” with a “D next to its name” could have won Ocasio-Cortez’s district.

Sweden: Christian migrants repeatedly attacked by Muslim migrants fear civil war will break out in the country

By

Today, around 120,000 Syriac Christians reside in Sweden. While many of them fled genocide in the Middle East, attacks against their churches and threats against their organisations are still not uncommon.

Following repeated threats, the Syriac National Federation in Sweden has stepped up security measures, from camera surveillance to its own security guards, the news outlet Samhällsnytt reported.

A recent Facebook post by the Syriac National Federation has detailed expletive-loaded threats it received from speakers of Arabic.

According to the federation’s spokesperson, this is not the first time such an incident has occurred. Most often, he said, the callers speak either Swedish with a thick Middle Eastern accent or even Arabic.

The police, however, chose not to investigate the matter, explaining that obscene language is not illegal.

“As soon as something happens in the Middle East or we are somehow visible in the media, we get these calls, so we are used to this.”

“At one point they say they will do the same to us in Sweden as they did in the Middle East. A genocide has been carried out in the Middle East against Christians. We have fled these groupings to Sweden, but they have caught up with us here”, the spokesperson said.

The Syriac National Federation has repeatedly turned to the authorities, but found no understanding, except among the Christian Democrats.

According to Samhällsnytt, there is a widespread feeling of resignation among Syriacs in Sweden amid concerns over the future of the rule of law and the state’s ability to protect people and prosecute crimes.

“We expect some fucking civil war between different groups unless someone puts their foot down. The people who did terrible acts in the Middle East, they are here now… and no one seems to care”, the spokesperson concluded.

Syriac churches in Sweden have witnessed a series of bomb and arson attacks, such as the Saint Afrem church in Södertälje and the Saint Mary church in Norrköping.

The incidents have caused strong reactions in the Syriac circles. While some argued that the time was ripe to leave Sweden if the state is unable to protect all its citizens, others suggested to get “a police force of our own” in the comments.

Tucker: Dem Candidates Are Sabotaging Their Own Chances to Defeat Trump

Even though Trump is failing to fulfill his key campaign promises Democrats are going so off the deep end they could actually end up securing his reelection.

As Tucker Carlson highlighted in his monologue on Tuesday night, Democrats like Bernie Sanders are now endorsing allowing convicted felons to vote from behind bars.

Asked whether “convicted sex offenders” and people “on death row” like Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev should be allowed to vote, Sen. Kamala Harris told CNN’s Don Lemon, “I think we should have that conversation.”

Tucker noted how such a rule could allow the inmates in maximum security Angola State Prison in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana to be the “single largest bloc of voters in the area” and said once Bernie Sanders is president “they’ll be allowed to elect the City Council and Sheriff, maybe the Warden too.”

FEDS INDICT JUDGE FOR OBSTRUCTION AFTER ILLEGAL AVOIDS ICE ARREST

Twice-deported illegal was banned from entry into U.S. until 2027

Infowars.com – APRIL 25, 2019

A Massachusetts trial judge and a court official have been indicted by federal officials who say they conspired to keep immigration agents from arresting a twice-deported drug suspect banned from entering the U.S. until 2027.

U.S. Attorney Andrew E. Lelling accused the judge and official of preventing an ICE agent from detaining a drug suspect in April 2018, stating that both the judge and the suspect’s attorney were recorded discussing how to keep the suspect away from the agent.

The suspect, who was picked up by Newton police on drug charges, was deported in 2003 and 2007 and was not allowed to enter the U.S. again until 2027.

“…ICE is going to pick him up if he walks out the front door. But I think the best thing for us to do is clear the fugitive issue, release him on a personal [bond], and hope that he can avoid ICE… That’s the best I can do,” the attorney allegedly said on the court recording.

The judge reportedly responded, “ICE is gonna get him? What if we detain him?”

The suspect later avoided ICE after he was released without bail and escorted out by the court official who used his security card to open a rear exit door for him to leave, according to federal officials.

“This case is about the rule of law,” Lelling said. “The allegations in today’s indictment involve obstruction by a sitting judge, that is intentional interference with the enforcement of federal law, and that is a crime.”

“We cannot pick and choose the federal laws we follow, or use our personal views to justify violating the law. Everyone in the justice system — not just judges, but law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and defense counsel — should be held to a higher standard. The people of Massachusetts expect that, just like they expect judges to be fair, impartial, and to follow the law themselves.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden received the endorsement of three U.S. Senators shortly after announcing his 2020 presidential campaign on Thursday morning.

In a pair of statements, Sens. Chris Coons (D-DE) and Bob Casey (D-PA) were first to back the 76-year-old Biden’s bid.

“Joe Biden doesn’t just talk about making our county more just, he delivers results,” Coons said in an interview with the Associated Press.

Casey took to social media to announce his support, tweeting: “I am proud to endorse my friend, Joe Biden, for President.”

Further, Casey said in a statement to the Associated Press that “America needs” Biden to be president, contending: “At this make-or-break moment for the middle class, our children and our workers, America needs Vice President Joe Biden to be its next President.”

Sen. Doug Jones (D-AL) joined Coons and Casey in supporting Biden, saying in a statement that he believes the former vice president can “bring people together” and “find common ground while standing up for what he believes is right.”

In a video shared to social media, Biden, a native of Scranton, Pennsylvania, who served as a senator for Delaware for over three decades, announced Thursday that he would be entering an ever-crowded Democrat primary field for president.

“If we give Donald Trump eight years in the White House, he will forever and fundamentally alter the character of this nation — who we are — and I cannot stand by and watch that happen,” Biden claimed in his announcement video.

“Everything that has made America America is at stake,” he went on. “That’s why today I’m announcing my candidacy for president of the United States.”
