ROSENSTEIN SENDS RESIGNATION LETTER TO PRESIDENT TRUMP

Rosenstein Sends Resignation Letter To President Trump

Deputy Attorney General appointed Mueller, proposed wearing wire around president and using 25th Amendment against him

 | Infowars.com – APRIL 29, 2019

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has submitted his letter of resignation to President Trump on Monday, according to reports.

Rosenstein, who served as Deputy AG since 2017 and appointed FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller to investigate Russian government “interference” in the 2016 presidential election, said his resignation would be effective May 11.

The letter praised Trump for his commitment to making America great again, and assured him that the Department of Justice was meant as a vehicle of law and order, free from political influence.

“The Department of Justice pursues those goals while operating in accordance with the rule of law,” Rosenstein wrote.

“The rule of law is the foundation of America. It secures our freedom, allows our citizens to flourish, and enables our nation to serve as a model of liberty and justice for all.”

Rosenstein also took a jab at the mainstream corporate media for their role in perpetuating fake news during Mueller’s wide-ranging 2-year investigation.

“We enforce the law without fear or favor because credible evidence is not partisan, and truth is not determined by opinion polls,” Rosenstein wrote.

“We ignore fleeting distractions and focus our attention on the things that matter, because a republic that endures is not governed by the news cycle.”

Rosenstein’s exit seemed inevitable after fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe confirmed in February that he proposed surreptitiously wearing a wire around Trump, and discussed using the 25th Amendment to unseat him.

BRENNAN REFERS TO TRUMP’S CHARGE OF DEEP STATE COUP AS ‘SOCIOPATHIC RAMBLINGS’

Brennan Refers To Trump's Charge of Deep State Coup As 'Sociopathic Ramblings'

Obama-era CIA head runs interference on Trump’s bombshell claims

Infowars.com – APRIL 27, 2019

Former CIA Director John Brennan says that President Trump’s accusations of a Deep State coup attempt against him are nothing more than “sociopathic ramblings.”

“I don’t think it’s surprising at all that we continue to hear the sociopathic ramblings of Mr. Trump claiming that there was this effort to try to prevent him from being elected or to unseat him,” Brennan said on MSNBC Friday.

“I welcome any type of, you know, continued investigation in terms of what we did during that period of time when we were in government.”

“And I’ve testified in front of Congress, and I’d be happy to do it again,” he added.

Trump went scorched-earth during his wide-ranging Thursday interview on Hannity, accusing former President Obama of knowingly facilitating illegal spying and the media for perpetuating the fake Russia collusion narrative.

“So, I really say, now we have to get down because this was a coup. This was an attempted overthrow of the United States government,” Trump said.

“This was a coup. This wasn’t stealing information from an office in the Watergate apartments. This was an attempted coup. Like a Third World country. Inconceivable.”

Biden says Obama White House was ‘scandal-free’… Here’re some of the BIGGER ones he drew a blank on

CAP

The White House had “not one whisper of scandal” under President Barack Obama – that’s what former VP Joe Biden would have one believe as a selling point for his presidential run. Wait, is that the sound of fact-checkers typing?

“The thing I’m proudest of,” Biden said on Friday of his time at Obama’s right hand, “Not one single whisper of scandal…not one, and that’s because of Barack.”

Biden was speaking on ‘The View,’ a day after announcing his campaign for the presidency in 2020. The studio audience cheered and host Joy Behar chimed in, calling Barack Obama “amazing.” Of course, Biden is hardly going to besmirch his former partner on live television, and the view of presidents past tends to soften once they’ve left office.

But one has to wonder if the busy liberal fact-checkers would want to correct the Democrats’ favorite candidate, as his administration racked up its fair share of scandals during Obama’s eight years at the helm. Here’re three of the biggest:

Attack of the drones

CAP

The escalation of drone warfare and the targeted killings of American citizens are some of the biggest and blackest marks on the Obama administration. Although Obama was not the first US president to deploy drones on the battlefield, he was a drone enthusiast from the outset, describing the killer robots as “effective,” “indispensable,” and “the only game in town,”and personally authorizing more strikes in his first year than George W. Bush did in his entire eight years in office.

The whole world became a battlefield. Drone strikes targeted enemies and innocents alike in Pakistan, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Of these strike zones, only Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria were active battlefields. At least four American citizens were killed, including a 16-year-old boy in Yemen, struck two weeks after his father.

CAP

A grand total of 563 strikes killed between 384 and 807 civilians in non-battlefield countries, according to figures from the Bureau of Investigative Journalism.

Technically, it was all legal, of course – after the law in question was written by executive branch lawyers and hidden from Congress and the public.

Fast and Furious

CAP

This Fast and Furious had nothing to do with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Instead, it was a ‘gunwalking’ scandal that Obama and then-Attorney General Eric Holder desperately tried to keep a lid on. In 2009, the Department of Justice came up with the amazingly bright idea of letting firearms – including .50 caliber rifles powerful enough to rip apart an engine block – fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels, supposedly as a means of tracking them.

The plan backfired. Federal agents lost track of most of the 2,000 guns, which wound up being used in murders on both sides of the border, including the slaying of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry in 2010.

ALSO ON RT.COM’Fast & Furious’ cartel hitman who killed Border Patrol agent arrested in MexicoBut the Obama administration was non-apologetic. Instead, when the Republican-controlled House kicked up a stink, Holder sought to withhold documents relating to the scandal under subpoena, and Obama later withheld them under executive privilege when Holder was cited for contempt of Congress.

Years later, Mexican authorities are still finding ‘Fast and Furious’ guns at cartel crime scenes. One of the 19 weapons found at the hideout of notorious drug kingpin Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman in 2016 was a gun knowingly allowed into Mexico by the Justice Department.

Spy games – allied edition

CAP

As a Senator, Barack Obama condemned the Bush-era Patriot Act for violating the rights of American citizens. Once in office, he renewed the act, allowing intelligence agencies to carry out ‘roving wiretaps’ on American citizens and collect billions of phone call and text message records every year.

Much has been written about Obama’s expansion of the surveillance state, and his administration’s scattergun use of the 1917 Espionage Act to prosecute whistleblowers like NSA contractor Edward Snowden, but perhaps most personally embarrassing was the revelation – via WikiLeaks – that the US government spied on German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s phone calls.

CAP

In an angry exchange with Obama, Merkel compared the US National Security Agency (NSA) to the dreaded East German Stasi. Suitably chastised, did Obama move to disarm the US’ surveillance apparatus before leaving office?

Nope. Days after Obama’s January 2017 farewell speech, then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch signed an order giving the NSA additional powers to share intercepted communications with the US’s 16 other intelligence agencies. These communications include internet traffic intercepted through the NSA’s dragnet ‘PRISM’ program, and phone, email, and satellite transmissions gathered abroad.

When it comes to totting up the scandals of the Obama years, honorable mention goes to the Benghazi attack that killed ambassador Chris Stevens, Hillary Clinton’s email server scandal, arming jihadist rebels in Syria, and if Republicans are to be believed, authorizing an FBI spying operation on the Trump campaign in 2016.

But Joe Biden would have the voters believe that it is Donald Trump who “will forever and fundamentally alter the character of this nation.”

ROSENSTEIN: FBI Leaked ‘Classified Evidence’ In Russia Probe to Lawmakers

The Deputy Attorney General dropped some damning information related to the FBI’s handling of the Russia investigation.

By Peter D’Abrosca

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein spoke at an Armenian Bar Association gathering Thursday night, where dropped bombshell information related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) handling of the Russian “collusion” probe.

“The FBI disclosed classified evidence about the investigation to ranking legislators and their staffers,” he said. “Someone selectively leaked details to the news media.”

And there you have it. The Deputy Attorney General admitted that the FBI illegally leaked classified intel to lawmakers, which then ended up in the hands of the press. The goal was obvious – burn President Donald J. Trump in the court of public opinion.

When Trump was criticizing the FBI brass over its handling of the probe, the fake news media attacked him, attempting to make him look like he was subverting the rule of law. As it turns out, Trump was right all along. The feds were, indeed, working against him.

Rosenstein also criticized the Obama administration’s handling of the investigation.

“Some critical decisions about the Russia investigation were made before I got there,” Rosenstein said. “The previous Administration chose not to publicize the full story about Russian computer hackers and social media trolls, and how they relate to a broader strategy to undermine America.”

So, the previous administration knew that social media trolls were involved in attempts to interfere with American elections. It did nothing to stop such attempts. Instead, it let Trump take the fall, setting him to look like a Russian stooge.

Rush Limbaugh: Hillary Clinton 'Needs To Be Indicted and She Needs To Be In Jail’

‘Unelected people came close to pulling off what is a coup,’ he says

Infowars.com – APRIL 24, 2019

Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh tore into Democrat presidential loser Hillary Clinton, saying she is the person who colluded with Russia, not President Trump.

“Hillary Clinton is who tried to rig a presidential election…Hillary Clinton and her pals in the Obama Department of Justice and the FBI, they are the ones who colluded with the Russians. They colluded to produce this entirely bogus Steele Dossier,” Limbaugh said Monday on Fox News.

Nolte: Top 51 Fake News ‘Bombshells’ the Media Spread About RussiaGate Collusion Hoax Hall of Shame

By John Nolte

Here are the top 51 pieces of fake news the establishment media spread about the Russia Collusion Hoax over the past two years, and I describe this list as the Top 51 because there is a behemoth of an iceberg lurking below.

Since the release of the Mueller Report last week, which — despite two years, $30 million, and a team of rabidly partisan left-wing investigators — found exactly zero crimes of Russia collusion or obstruction associated with President Trump and his campaign, one of the most bizarre results has been watching the media pat themselves on the back for the stories they believe they got correct.

Imagine that. Imagine your industry is so broken and corrupt that all you have left is to point to what you believe you did right. This is like watching an airline pilot brag about the times he didn’t crash, a district attorney point to the people he prosecuted who were not innocent — or in the words of comedian Chris Rock, a parent boast about taking care of his kids.

You’re supposed to take care of your kids!

And the media are supposed to get stories correct.

But here is the media forced to brag on when they didn’t crash the plane, when they did take care of the kids, which tells you something is horribly, terribly, ridiculously wrong.

Hey, here are some examples of when we didn’t mislead the country with disinformation!

CAP

Check out this one below. Here you have a reporter forced to focus on the “highlights” of her outlet’s reporting because the Washington Post got so much wrong she was able to quickly cobble together a list of those times the Post did not mislead its readers:

CAP

While a list of what the media might have gotten correct is fairly easy to put together, no one will ever be able to grasp the tsunami of fake news Americans were buried under for over two years.

The list below of 51 might sound like a lot, but it is a drop in the ocean when you recall the thousands and thousands of hours CNN, MSNBC, Meet the Press, This Week, PBS NewsHour, State of the Union, Good Morning AmericaReliable Sources, and the Today Show devoted to anchors and pundits pushing the hoax that Trump colluded with Russia.

Not to mention, millions and millions of establishment media tweets and Facebook posts.

Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, Shepard Smith, Andrew Napolitano, Joe Scarborough, Chris Hayes, Chuck Todd, Joy Reid, Chris Matthews, Jake Tapper, Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Brian Stelter, Erin Burnett, et al.,  are alone responsible for thousands and thousands and thousands of hours of lies and conspiracy-mongering.

This list of 51 doesn’t count the half-million — half-MILLION — Russia collusion stories published over the past two years, almost all of which were premised on the idea that Trump did, indeed, collude with a foreign power to steal the 2016 presidential election.

This list cannot begin to count the countless times these 51 fake stories were repeated as fact throughout other news outlets, social media, and thousands upon thousands of cumulative broadcast hours.

What’s more, this list of 51 can’t begin to count the countless examples of fake news launched against Trump that have nothing to do with Russia — desperate and deliberate lies involving fish food and ice cream scoops…

Before we begin, credit where it’s due. This list would not have been possible without the lists already compiled by Sharyl AttkissonGlenn Greenwald, and Sohrab Ahmari.
