Washington Post Scrubs Headline Calling Louis Farrakhan ‘Far-Right’

UPDATE 5:23 PM EST: The Washington Post has added a correction to the post in question — after this article was published. The paper held off on a correction on its site for nearly two hours after acknowledging the error on Twitter. The headline on Breitbart’s story has been updated to reflect this change.
The Washington Post described Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan as “far-right” Thursday, then scrubbed the error from the article’s headline and text without acknowledging the edit.
The far-left newspaper’s coverage of Facebook’s latest move to ban controversial and anti-establishment figures linked Farrakhan with conservative activists, originally posting the headline “Facebook bans far-right leaders including Louis Farrakhan, Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos for being ‘dangerous.’”
The false label was also included in the first line of author Elizabeth Dwoskin’s article.
The publication’s official Twitter account posted the same headline with this false information. In a followup tweet, the Post said, “We have deleted this tweet because it incorrectly included Louis Farrakhan, who has espoused anti-Semitic views, in a list of far-right leaders. Facebook banned extremist figures including Farrakhan, Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos for being ‘dangerous.’”
However, the paper has not acknowledged any error on the article page itself — or told readers that its editors altered the headline, lead paragraph, and URL after publication.
Despite the stealth correction, the article has received the endorsement of NewsGuard, a Microsoft partner that marks news sources as reliable or not in a web browser extension — even on a cached version of the article with the false “far-right” label still included in the URL.
“This website adheres to all nine of NewsGuard’s standards of credibility and transparency,” a pop-up reads when users mouse over the green checkmark next to the Post‘s name. Among those criteria: “Regularly corrects or clarifies errors.”
NewsGuard similarly defended a stealth edit from corporate media in February, saying that the New York Times did not run afoul of its policy by altering a headline without acknowledging the update.
Another article published in The Atlantic about the Facebook bans used the headline “Instagram and Facebook Ban Far-Right Extremists,” with a photo of Farrakhan in the featured image. As of this writing, it has not been corrected.
Farrakhan, who has praised Adolf Hitler and promotes an anti-Semitic and black nationalist worldview, has a number of well-documented relationships with Democratic lawmakers.
Former president Barack Obama posed for a photo with Farrakhan, and Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) have long associatedwith the hateful preacher.
Last October, Farrakhan said during an address that he was not an “antisemite” but an “anti-Termite.”
“So when they talk about Farrakhan, call me a hater, you know they do, call me an antisemite–stop it! I’m anti-termite! I don’t know nothing about hating somebody because of their religious preference,” he said
RASHIDA TLAIB HOSTS ANOTHER EXTREME ANTI-ISRAEL, TERROR-AFFILIATED ACTIVIST ON CAPITOL HILL

Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib met with members of the anti-Israel organization American Muslims for Palestine during an advocacy event they hosted on Capitol Hill.

Tlaib was photographed after sitting down with Joe Catron, an extreme anti-Israel activist and outspoken terrorist supporter.

Tlaib’s time in congressional office has been embroiled in allegations of anti-Semitism.
Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib met with another extreme anti-Israel activist and terrorist-supporter in her Capitol Hill congressional office during American Muslims for Palestine Advocacy Day in mid-April.
American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) hosted the annual advocacy and training event, which was open to all adults who “seek justice in Palestine.” Additional criteria for participation includes supporting the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which seeks to punish Israel by economically depriving the country for its alleged mistreatment of Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) describes the BDS movement as “the most prominent effort to undermine Israel’s existence” and has further criticized AMP for promoting anti-Semitism under the guise of educating Americans. AMP hailed the ADL’s anti-Israel description of its organization.
Tlaib spoke to AMP on April 8 where she told the group that she feels “more Palestinian” when she is in Congress than she does elsewhere, according to The Investigative Project On Terrorism, who first reported on the meeting.
AMP’s New Jersey chapter posted a photograph of Tlaib outside of her office with some of its members during the event, including Joe Catron, an avowed supporter of multiple Palestinian terrorist organizations. Catron is a long-time extreme anti-Israel activist and has openly supported terrorist organizations. He serves as the U.S. coordinator of Samidoun, the Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network. Samidoun is an affiliate arm of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a Palestinian Marxist–Leninist and revolutionary socialist organization. The United States designated PFLP a terrorist organization in 1997, and Australia, Japan, Canada and the European Union shortly followed suit.
Catron’s cover photo on both of his personal Twitter and Facebook accounts is a montage of a PFLP fighter donned in the organization’s official logo, as well as rockets and soldiers pointed towards a target over the state of Israel. It also displays the Arabic phrase “If you do [more attacks on Gaza] we will do [as well], hell is waiting for you.” The phrase is attributed to Mohammad Deif, the supreme military commander of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing.
Moreover, the feature image on his social media accounts are of himself posed alongside Leila Khaled, a member of PFLP who is a known Palestinian terrorist most notable for hijacking airplanes.
After PFLP murdered an Israeli policewoman in 2017 during a terrorist attack in Jerusalem, Catron posted PFLP’s official statement on his social media and referred to the event as “heroic.” The attack was described by the PFLP as a “blood oath” to Palestinians, and the organization echoed the Hamas war cry to eradicate Israel.

Catron has voiced his support and admiration for Hezbollah, simply stating on Feb. 8, 2019 “I [love] Hizbullah.” He also urged Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Islamic-terrorist organization, to fire rockets at Israel.

In addition to supporting PFLP and Hezbollah, Catron has also be an advocate for the Sunni-Islamist fundamentalist and terrorist organization Hamas. In 2014, Catron was a participant in a press conference alongside Tawfiq Abu Naim, the head of Hamas-run security forces in Gaza. The press conference was to support Palestinian prisoners, according to The Gaza Scoop.

Tlaib, along with fellow Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, became America’s first Muslim congresswomen when sworn into office in January. Their time in office has been embroiled in allegations of anti-Semitism.
Tlaib invited pro-Hezbollah, anti-Israel activist Abbas Hamideh to her swearing-in ceremony and the following private dinner in January. She is also a member of multiple anti-Semitic social media groups, including the Facebook group “Palestinian American Congress,” where members frequently demonize Jews and Israel. The founder of the aforementioned Facebook group, Maher Abdel-qader, is a Palestinian activist and was a key fundraiser for Tlaib’s 2018 congressional campaign.
Shortly after Tlaib was sworn into office, an op-ed column she wrote in 2006 for Final Call, a Nation of Islam publication founded by Louis Farrakhan, surfaced. She also has come under scrutiny for having ties to other anti-Israel individuals and for questioning the loyalty of Republican lawmakers who support the Jewish nation-state
Neither American Muslims for Palestine nor Tlaib’s office responded to The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar called White House senior adviser Stephen Miller a “white nationalist” Monday and Donald Trump Jr. fired back almost immediately.
Omar quoted a Splinter News article which, among other things, referred to Miller as a “white nationalist” and a “fascist” and suggested he’d like to appoint “Attila the Hun” to lead U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The freshman Democrat also added her own comment, claiming that it was an outage that he had any say in policy or appointments. (RELATED: Abrams Clearly Answers No — Rep. Omar Says, ‘I’ll Take That As A Yes’)
But as a number of Omar’s critics quickly pointed out, Miller happens to be Jewish.
Trump Jr. was no exception. “I see that the head of the Farrakhan Fan Club, @IlhanMN, took a short break from spewing her usual anti-semitic bigotry today to accuse a Jewish man of being a ‘white nationalist’ because she apparently has no shame,” he tweeted.
Some of Omar’s previous statements, viewed by many as anti-Semitic, have earned her public rebukes from members of both parties.

The only people left who think Ilhan Omar isn’t a rabid anti-semite also think OJ didn’t do it, and that the moon landing was faked. You’d have to be a flat-earther to continue making excuses for her bigotry and hatred.
That’s why it’s especially galling to see a rabbi race to defend Ilhan, and in a completely ridiculous way, comparing the yarmulka (kippah) to hijab.
The hijab, like the kippah I wear, is a symbol of faith protected by the Constitution. Freedom of religion is a source of this nation’s strength.
On it’s face, yes, the hijab is in fact protected under the constitution. No free Muslim should be forced by law to remove it. The same way no free Muslim should be forced by law to wear it. But that’s where the comparison ends.
NO the kippah is NOT anything like the hijab. No modern Jew has ever been forced by law to wear it. A jewish man can walk into just about ANY synagogue in this country, or around the world, and opt out of the kippah and have no problem from anyone.
Can the same be said for muslim women and the hijab? Not likely. Especially around the world. The West is where Muslim women come to ESCAPE the hijab and other compulsory religious requirements. Is there any place a Jew ever has to flee to escape the yarmulka?
Rabbi Pesner is exactly the kind of ultra-progressive Jew who is murdering Judaism with his radical leftism. He might mean well, but he’s doing horrific damage by running interference for oppression under the guise of religious freedom.
Liberal Jews need to realize they’re putting the entire community at risk when they allow themselves to be used by anti-Semites, the way Ilhan is using the tweet Rabbi Pesner put up. She’s wrapping herself in the protective blanket of his Jewish stamp of approval.
Of course, we don’t expect Rabbi Pesner to get the message anytime soon. After all, how many rabbis line up to stand shoulder to shoulder with Jesse “Hymie Town” Jackson, as seen above? That’s some offensive sh!t right there, Rabbi.
Last, if sharia mandated modesty is so super awesome, why do Islamic sex slaves burn their body suits as the first act of liberation when they’re given the opportunity?
Nolte: Pelosi Folding on Antisemitism Proves Ocasio-Cortez Really Is ‘The Boss’

HSINO… That is Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) — our “House Speaker In Name Only,” an aging figurehead limping towards extinction.
Late last month, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared herself “the boss” — and Thursday’s disgraceful House vote condemning All the Hates proved that sentiment 100 percent true.
Don’t be fooled by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MD); she is not “stepping on rakes” or “accidentally” revealing her antisemitism. This is a coordinated strategy on the part of her and her allies to legitimize antisemitism, to normalize bigoted stereotypes about money-grubbing and dual loyalties that go above and beyond honest criticism of Israel.
That’s the play here, that is what is at stake, and because she’s lost control of the House and her caucus to the Ocasio-Crazies, Pelosi is helpless to stop it.
In fact, Pelosi has become Ocasio-Crazy’s puppet, her mouthpiece… “I do not believe she understood the full weight of the words,” Pelosi told reporters Thursday to explain why she does not believe Omar should apologize or lose her consequential seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
“I feel confident that her words were not based on any antisemitic attitude. But that she didn’t have a full appreciation of how they landed on other people where these words have a history and a cultural impact that might have been unknown to her,” the ventriloquist dummy added without blinking.
This week marked the third time in two months Omar went there, went to a place we have not seen a mainstream figure go since Father Coughlin in the 1930s. And with Ocasio-Crazy out there launching a ridiculous (and condescending) defense of Omar (it’s a learning process) and refusing to back a House resolution that condemns antisemitism alone (think about that), Pelosi had no choice but to back down, to come up with this utterly meaningless All the Hates resolution that Omar was perfectly comfortable voting for.
And why wouldn’t she vote yea? The resolution was not only a triumph for Omar and her wild-eyed ilk over Pelosi, it proved her strategy is working — that you can now hurl these bigoted smears without fear of condemnation.
This is how much of a shell Pelosi is now: she no longer has the influence to convince her caucus to support a standalone resolution against antisemitism; she no longer has the authority to stop Omar from her antisemitic quest to move the Overton window, she is powerless against Omar’s launching of one rhetorical fire bomb after another directly into the middle of Pelosi’s agenda for the 116th Congress.
And let’s be honest, going back to its Ku Klux Klan and Jim Crow days, the Democrat Party has always been a hotbed of antisemitism — a party that has tolerated and even feted Louis Farrakhan for decades, that embraces Rev. Al Sharpton, a Party that seems to have grown tired of having to hide its antisemitism and just wants to be free.

Scandal-prone former sitcom star Roseanne Barr let loose against leftist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her ‘green new deal’ with a torrent of obscenities that would impress Gordon Ramsay.
In a video uploaded last weekend entitled “Bug eyed b***hes”, the actress showcased her signature no-holds barred approach to politics. The 2-minute video is a dizzying jaunt between a variety of hot button issues including the environment, immigration and Israel.
While unable to recall Ocasio-Cortez’s name, Barr had a lot of opinions to share about the “Farrakhan loving b***h” who “looks like a realtor” and her “green new deal” in particular.
In between insults and vulgarity, Roseanne criticized the freshman congresswoman’s plan to counter climate change, claiming it would put hundreds of people out of work and “decimate communities.”
Barr then declared that such an outcome was a natural result of “socialism,” calling the economic system a “fake f***ing con” and “ponzi scheme.” Ocasio-Cortez is a proponent of ‘democratic socialism’ like presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders.
Roseanne also offered her outlook on immigration, claiming Democrats were motivated to bring in foreigners because “no Americans are going to vote for their ass anymore.”
The star’s indelicate mode of expression has backfired several times throughout her career. Barr even had a reboot of her signature sitcom pulled by ABC after she posted a racist tweet about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced Monday that Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib will be speaking at CAIR-Michigan’s annual banquet only days after the Hamas-linked organization revealed that fellow Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota will be speaking at CAIR-LA’s annual banquet.
CAIR is a notable pro-Palestinian organization with ties to Islamic terror groups. The U.S. Department of Justice listed CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in funding millions of dollars to the terrorist organization Hamas. Additionally, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) named CAIR a terrorist organization along with al-Qaeda and the Islamic State in 2014.
Tlaib will be the guest speaker at CAIR-Michigan’s 19th annual “Faith-Led, Justice Driven” banquet on March 17, according to the organization’s invitation. Single tickets start at $50 per person and a table can cost upwards of $500. Tickets for Omar’s March 23 event start at a similar price point. The Anti-Defamation League describes the movement as “the most prominent effort to undermine Israel’s existence.”
BDS has been metastasizing through college campuses, initially promulgated by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), the movement’s most visible arm. SJP has been linked to the Islamic terror group Hamas, according to The Washington Free Beacon. Moreover, the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, the American umbrella group of the BDS movement, has reportedly given money to terrorist organizations like Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
