WATCH: CBS CAMERAS CUT AWAY AS TEXAS TECH PLAYERS KNEEL TO PRAY

Network accused of hypocrisy after it championed kneeling NFL players
APRIL 8, 2019
CBS coverage showing the inside of the Texas Tech locker room was cut short as players began taking a knee in prayer.
The incident happened over the weekend after the team won the Final Four tournament, and was immediately noted by many on Twitter.
CBS cameras were rolling as team members celebrated the victory, but the feed quickly went to a different camera when Coach Chris Beard entered the locker room and players began kneeling.

Several people accused CBS of hypocrisy for highlighting kneeling NFL players, but refusing to show the Texas Tech players in prayer.

“CBS has yet to offer an explanation as to why they chose to cut away during Texas Tech’s team prayer,” notes Breitbart, adding that ESPN similarly cut away from an interview in 2015 when a college football coach began a speech by thanking “the good Lord.”
Father of Fake News, Angry Over Trump’s ‘Animal’ Comment, Once Called Trump an ‘Animal’

Now, he’s faux-outraged over Trump using the same word to describe MS-13 gang members.
By Peter D’Abrosca
A former cable news anchor known for spreading propaganda joined the outrage brigade at President Donald J. Trump’s use of the word “animal” in describing a vicious gang, despite once having called Trump an animal himself.
“Have you ever seen a caged animal pacing and baring its fangs? With President Trump lashing out, I think that what we are seeing here is fear, a deep fear of a world closing in. After all fear is what an animal in a cage really is feeling,” Rather said in a Dec. 2017 Tweet.

But Friday, Rather added to the chorus of faux-outraged media, political, and celebrity types who condemned Trump for using the word “animal” to describe vicious MS-13 gang members.
“The President likening human beings to animals is despicable. I’ve seen this playbook before, words weaponized into bloodshed. His sneering rhetoric must be denounced. All who remain silent stand on the side of an insidious and dangerous scapegoating of our fellow human beings,” he said.

Democrats once again defended the gang after an out-of-context clip was posted by a random Twitter user, claiming that Trump referred to asylum seekers as animals. In reality, it was the same clip in which Trump referred to MS-13 members as such.
The media, including the father of fake news himself, fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. As often chronicled on this site, American media is an awful, no-good, propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.
Rather even acknowledged that the clip was out of context – but did not delete his Tweet slamming POTUS.
“I am aware that comments of the President likening people to animals were made a while back in the context of gang members in the U S. I still believe the words are wrong and part of a larger and ongoing effort to create division over the complicated issue of immigration,” he said.

‘We will survive!’ Russiagaters hold cult-like ‘Release the Report’ rally complete with songbook

The imploded Russian collusion narrative seems to have had little impact on changing the minds of its devotees. In fact, the hysteria may only have increased, judging by yesterday’s rallies and their motto, “Release the Report!”
In a bizarre spectacle, demonstrations across the country organized by the MoveOn political action committee, with the endorsement of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow herself, have called for the immediate release of the full, uncensored report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
In order to energize the gatherings, NYC’s Times Square rally also included the distribution of a surreal songbook, complete with lyrics of popular tunes like the classic “My Favorite Things” and “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones, changed to include references about alleged details in the conspiracy narrative.

In call-and-response unison, the crowd chanted the modified lyrics of songs like Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” into the mantra “We will survive!” with expletive-laden lyrics.
Attorney General William Barr has pledged to release a version of the report, redacted in order to protect certain confidential information contained within it. Subsequently, The New York Times published an article using unnamed sources alleging that some of the members of the Mueller team were unsatisfied with Barr’s four-page assessment of the report regarding whether President Donald Trump was cleared of obstruction of justice.
Russiagate enthusiasts have clung to this as an implication of a cover-up by Barr and that there may still be a glimmer of hope that the allegations about collusion or obstruction may be in the report, even though Mueller did not issue any further indictments in the probe.

CNN CRIES ‘RACIST’ AFTER TUCKER CARLSON’S RATINGS HIGHER THAN ITS ENTIRE PRIME TIME LINE UP

Tucker got A MILLION MORE viewers than all CNN programming combined
APRIL 4, 2019
Tucker Carlson’s ratings on his Fox News show last week were higher than the entirety of CNN’s prime time output combined, so the network responded by calling him a racist.
Carlson garnered over 1,000,000 MORE viewers than Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo combined.
Nielsen figures show that CNN’s total prime time views numbered 2,474,000, while Carlson attracted 3,475,000 total viewers:
- FOX News Tucker Carlson: 3,475,000 total viewers; 625,000 viewers in the 25-54 age demographic
- CNN Cooper: 810,000 total viewers; 203,000 viewers in the 25-54 age demographic
- CNN Cuomo: 875,000 total viewers; 217,000 viewers in the 25-54 age demographic
- CNN Lemon: 789,000 total viewers; 228,000 viewers in the 25-54 age demographic
Last week, CNN host Brian Stelter argued that it was a slow news week, but then it was pointed out by practically everyone that it was the week of the Mueller report summary release, so that statement was complete bullshit.

So with that excuse put to bed, CNN had to find another reason for its ratings being in the toilet and Carlson’s being much higher.
Here’s what they came up with…
“Over the last month, Tucker Carlson’s commercial breaks have had only a smattering of ads from lesser-known brands. It might be a new normal for the Fox News host, who has endured ad boycott campaigns since he made racist remarks on immigrants in December.”

Yup. Carlson is RACIST, so he gets less ads and more viewers… or something.
The real reason can’t possibly be because CNN coverage is consistently focused on 93% negative broadcasts about the President, or that it is considered to be the least trustworthynews network.

(FROM THE DEEP STATE) – POMPEO TO HIRE ANTI-TRUMPER AS STATE DEPT SPOKESPERSON

Morgan Ortagus a neocon who worked for Jeb Bush super PAC
APRIL 3, 2019
The State Department is preparing to hire anti-Trumper and former Jeb Bush supporter Morgan Ortagus as the department’s new spokesperson, according to reports.
Ortagus, who worked for a super PAC tied to Jeb Bush, had described Donald Trump as “disgusting” in 2016 shortly after he was elected.
“You have somebody who makes fun of people with mental and physical disabilities. That’s disgusting; there’s no other way around it,” she said. “Quite frankly, I don’t want someone with the temperament of a middle school pubescent boy in the president’s office.”

She had also criticized Trump’s foreign policy approach.
“In his gut, he does not think that Americans should be, quote unquote, the policemen of the world,” she said in April 2016.
“I don’t see it that way. I think that America is the glue that holds the world together…So there were points that I agreed with him today, but overall, I fundamentally disagree with his isolationist approach to foreign policy.”
From CNN:
“Former Fox News contributor Morgan Ortagus, the expected pick to become the next State Department spokesperson, repeatedly criticized President Donald Trump during the 2016 Republican presidential primary, a CNN review found.”
“Ortagus publicly lambasted then-candidate Trump over what she called his “isolationist foreign policy approach,” and blasted behavior she qualified as ‘disgusting’ and ‘not serious.’”
“However, she quickly reinvented herself as a vocal Trump supporter after he secured the party’s nomination and has remained a key TV surrogate for the administration over the last two years.”
Ortagus, a former Fox News contributor, is set to replace Heather Nauert after she was tapped to become the UN ambassador.
WATCH: San Juan Mayor Attacks Trump: ‘Heartless,’ ‘Vengeful,’ ‘Willing To Let People Starve, To Let People Die’

On Tuesday, San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz, who has been harshly critical of President Trump’s rhetoric and actions vis-à-vis Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, hurled out her vitriol again as she spoke on MSNBC with host Nicole Wallace, calling Trump the “Faker-in-Chief,” intimating that he racially discriminates, and snapping that he “is heartless … vengeful …” and “willing to let people starve, to let people die.”
Wallace commented: “You had paper towels tossed in the faces of your citizens and your constituents. Does anything shock you any more from this president?”
Cruz: “It still continues to shock me.”
Wallace, laughing, “Me too!”
Cruz continued:
It still continues to shock the people of Puerto Rico. Just when you think he has gone the lowest he could go, he still goes lower than that … he’s become a fake news cartoon … Mr. President, 3,000 Puerto Ricans died on your watch. They died because your government was inefficient, ineffective, unable to do its job … his vanity is much higher than his humanity is … he continues to embarrass himself; he continues to embarrass the office of the presidency … with all the lies he has put together he has become the “Faker-in-Chief.”
Wallace asked: “You are trying to put together an island; you are trying to keep people together. You’ve described a very dire circumstance, with suicide rates going up, you’ve described 3,000 people who’ve lost their lives. What do you need from the federal government today?
Cruz then launched into her rant:
We need the President to be able to put his ego aside and do his job. We need the President to not hold aid as a weapon and weaponize it, which is something he criticizes from other countries. We need the Congress of the United States to hear the call of the people not only of Puerto Rico but of other places that have been really dealing with very difficult situations coming from disasters that are a result of climate change.
But most of all, we need the President to develop a heart. This man is heartless. This man is vengeful. This man racially discriminates against people that are not like him, and he is willing to let people starve, to let people die. So we need the American people to get on the phone, call your senators, call your Congresspeople, and let them know that the situation in Puerto Rico is not as it was before, thank God, but we still need a lot of help to stand up and move forward and we need the American people to understand that there’s a difference between the money that we needed to pick up debris and to deal with the immediate aftermath, and the money, the Community Development Block Grant DR, the Disaster and Relief Fund. $1.5 billion would still have not hit the cities of San Juan or any other of the 77 additional municipalities. But mostly we need the President to stop lying, to stand up, to assume responsibility, and to have the courage to say, look, I haven’t done right by Puerto Rico. I’m going to start today.
In June 2018, Cruz accused the Trump administration of looking away “from its legal imperative and violating the human rights of the people of Puerto Ricco,” saying on MSNBC:
There’s a moral imperative and a legal imperative. It is clear the Trump administration has looked away from its legal imperative. But where the government has failed, the American people have risen to the occasion. We have continued to have volunteers come in … Look, President Trump tweets about the crack of dawn and he hasn’t even tweeted one time to say look, I mourn with the people of Puerto Rico. So this total neglect has to be called upon. The United Nations says that when people are denied their right to access to basic human services—like electric power, like water, like food, like appropriate medical care—that it is a violation of human rights.”
In October 2017, as Mediate reported, after President Trump tweeted that Puerto Rico wouldn’t receive federal aid “forever” and that the island was a “disaster” before Hurricane Maria hit, Cruz appeared on CNN with host Don Lemon and stated that Trump had a “big mouth.” She said, “We have paid our dues, and there are American citizens here in Puerto Rico. This is a nation. There’s a big disconnect between the big heart of the volunteers and the people that are here working on the ground and, frankly, the big mouth of the President of the United States. It continues to add insult to injury.”
Also in October 2017, Cruz accused Trump of genocide, saying in a statement, “I ask every American that has love, and not hate in their hearts, to stand with Puerto Rico and let this President know we WILL NOT BE LEFT TO DIE. I ask the United Nations, UNICEF and the world to stand with the people of Puerto Rico and stop the genocide that will result from the lack of appropriate action of a President that just does not get it because he has been incapable of looking in our eyes and seeing the pride that burns fiercely in our hearts and souls.”
