MSNBC declares Dem victory in Florida governor election… day before voting begins

MSNBC can now boast of being the first news outlet to break results from Tuesday’s midterm elections – hours before voting began. The network said it “misfired” after airing a fake vote tally from Florida’s gubernatorial race.

Viewers watching MSNBC’s election coverage on the eve of nationwide midterms were likely puzzled to learn that Democrat Andrew Gillum had already been declared the next governor of Florida. With 99 percent of the votes counted, Gillum had purportedly triumphed over his rival, Republican Ron DeSantis, by 0.6 percentage points, MSNBC reported almost a full day before voting was set to begin.

Host Chris Hayes quickly clarified the prophecy, blaming the fictitious tally – which was briefly flashed on screens across the US – on a system “misfire.”

“Quick clarification here,” Hayes announced during the election eve broadcast. “Just want to say, earlier this hour we showed a graphic of the Florida gubernatorial race. May have caught your eye because our system had inadvertently populated some test numbers.”

He added that “obviously” the network does not have vote totals the night before the election. Not everyone was satisfied with Hayes’ innocuous explanation, however, with some even speculating that something extremely nefarious was afloat.

“That’s not a misfire. That’s a case-in-point example of why Americans don’t trust the media — why President Donald Trump’s labeling of the press as the enemy of the people resonate with the people,” Washington Times columnist Cheryl K. Chumley wrote in a piece published by the conservative paper. She went on to question how MSNBC’s graphics software could have “gone rogue” without some sort of human input.

Social media reactions varied widely. The mishap is proof of a dark conspiracy, or an example of harmless human error, depending on whom you ask on Twitter.

Deceased Voters Remain Active As Cruz Jokes “Everyone Knows The Dead Vote Democrat…”

Authored by Joseph Jankowski via PlanetFreeWill.com,

Hundreds of now deceased people have been found to be still eligible to vote in LA county with one dead man voting in multiple elections years after he died.

By Tyler Durden

An investigation conducted by David Goldstein of CBS Los Angeles discovered 561 people who are now dead are registered as active voters in LA County.

A 2016 Goldstein investigation found the names of 906 dead people still registered to vote in L.A. County.

After inputting those names into the county registrar’s voter verification website to see how many are still eligible to vote in Tuesday’s election, CBSLA discovered 561 people who are dead but still registered to vote.

And it wasn’t people who just recently passed away – they died at least five years ago.

Of the dead registered voters, 336 were listed as Democrats, 173 were Republicans and 52 had another party or no party affiliation, reports the local CBS affiliate.

Records show that at least 17 of these deceased voters casted support for a candidate in 2016.

One deceased name that showed up in the records, Ralph Howey, was found to have voted in 2010, 2012 and 2014, despite having passed away in 2009 at the age of 104.

“I’m a little shocked,” said one Los Angeles man who witnessed an official mail-in voting pamphlet addressed to his mother. “My mother passed away approximately eight years ago.”

CBS Investigator David Goldstein says the dead voter issue in LA, which he exposed in 2016, is “still happening.”

While the county registrar claims to have purged more than 100,000 dead registered voters since Goldstein’s report two years ago, it is clear there still is a risk of dead voters skewing election results in LA County.

The question now is, how how big is the risk of dead votes effecting elections nation wide?

With a report out of Ohio showing that residents are finding the names of deceased neighbors in voter registries, you can only expect that this is happening everywhere.

Republicans and Independents sure better hope Ted Cruz isn’t right…

Final CNN & Rasmussen midterm polls vary wildly in predictions as Americans prepare to vote

Final CNN & Rasmussen midterm polls vary wildly in predictions as Americans prepare to vote

One day before Americans head to cast their ballots in the crucial midterm congressional elections, two final polls conducted by CNN and Rasmussen have predicted wildly different results.

The final generic poll conducted by left-leaning CNN has put Democrats 13 points ahead of Republicans. Meanwhile, a separate poll carried out by the more right-leaning Rasmussen agency has suggested that Republicans are leading, but by a much smaller margin of one point.

The results are a reminder of the folly of relying entirely on polling, which was highlighted after Donald Trump’s election in 2016, despite the vast majority of polls suggesting that his opponent, Hillary Clinton, was almost certain to win the presidency.

Online, Twitter users reacted with surprise to the vast disparity between the two polls, wondering whether there have ever been two polls so far apart on the eve of an important election and suggesting that at least one of the pollsters would end up looking stupid when ballots are counted.

Democrats are hoping to wrestle control of the House of Representatives from Republicans in a ‘blue wave’ of wins in the midterm elections held across the country tomorrow, which have been billed as a kind of referendum on US President Donald Trump after two years in office.

ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ: IMPEACHING TRUMP IS ‘NO-BRAINER’

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Democratic-Socialist who will most likely be the youngest member of Congress next year, believes it is a “no…

Breitbart: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Democratic-Socialist who will most likely be the youngest member of Congress next year, believes it is a “no-brainer” that President Donald Trump should be impeached. On his Real America with Jorge Ramos show onFacebook Watch this week, the Univision anchor asked Ocasio-Cortez whether she wanted to impeach Trump once she got to Congress.

“I mean, yeah. To me, it’s a no-brainer,” Ocasio-Cortez replied to Ramos. “Well, I believe that he has violated the law. Violated potentially many laws, whether it’s the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution because he keeps his businesses open that foreign actors kind of participate in financial transactions with. Whether it’s what we are seeing with potentially illegal buyouts of campaign, you know, FEC violations of women that he is trying to silence.”

Ocasio-Cortez also said impeaching Trump should not be “beyond the pale” because of how Republicans impeached former President Bill Clinton for lying under oath.

“But overall, you look at the bar that the Republicans held for impeaching Bill Clinton and somehow impeaching Donald Trump is supposed to be beyond the pale? It seems ridiculous to me,” she added.

Though Ocasio-Cortez said she believes Trump should be impeached because he committed a crime, other Democrats like Rep. Al Green have insisted that Trump “does not have to commit a crime to be impeached.” In fact, Green has argued that Trump could be impeached simply for “harming society.”

“In fact, the president is not likely to be indicted, which means he’s not likely to be found guilty of a crime while he’s sitting, which means that if this comes before the House, it won’t come before the House as a president who has been found guilty, but rather as a president who is alleged to have committed certain offenses that are onerous to the Constitution and that harm society,” Green said during an August Democracy Now interview. “And what this president is doing is harming society.”

Top Democrats like House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, aware that impeachment is not a popular issue among Americans, has previously said that talk of impeachment before the midterms would be a “gift” to Republicans. But left-wing Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez, egged on by the party’s left-wing base that may not settle for anything less than impeachment if Democrats take back the House, have been ignoring Pelosi’s warnings to be disciplined and not talk about impeachment before Special Counsel Robert Mueller concludes his investigation.

Ignore The Never Trump Losers And Vote Republican

By Kurt Schlichter

The midterms are tomorrow, and the Never Trump conservatives’ latest collective self-own is their insistence that we vote for Democrats because of … get this … conservatism. Well, “ahoy” to that, you cruise-pushing goofs.

Pardon me if I doubt the savvy political insights of the guys who told us, “You know who’d make a great candidate? Jeb!” I just can’t get my mind around anyone who thinks Jeb! is the answer to any question except, “What political superstar has three letters plus an exclamation point, blew a couple hundred million bucks for like one delegate, and will have ‘Low Energy’ carved on his tombstone?”

Here’s what I think happens Tuesday, and I could be totally wrong – though being wrong would entitle me to be an honorary Never Trumper. I think we take three or more seats in the Senate and keep the House. I think we keep power in Washington in the hands of the conservative party. And the Never Trump conservatives think this would be a terrible outcome.

They are the worst.

Shockingly, Never Trumpers are still a thing, at least in DC, New York and the nether regions of the internet, but no one is sure of why. It’s certainly not by popular demand; nobody likes them except weirdos, loser, mutations, and MSNBCNN bookers.

Of necessity, they have abandoned their old grift – “We are totally committed to winning victories for conservatism!” – in the wake of Trump singlehandedly fulfilling all the conservative fantasies that had previously graced the letters section of The Weekly Standard and its cruise-curious ilk: “I never thought it would happen to me, but then my president ditched the climate scam agreement and cut taxes! Hot!”

But Trump made our erotic right-wing dreams come true after decades of Fredocon teasing. And now no one calls the Never Trumpers anymore, and when they try their old pals, they get a text back: “New phone who dis?”

So now they have their new grift. They are the keepers of the conservaflame, the True Conservatives™ who plan to rescue us from the success of the Trump Era. And as part of that plan to get their principled conservatism on, they have stumbled onto a bold and innovative strategy: Help liberals win.

Im skeptical, but Chet thinks that’s a clever move. Chet is, of course, my unicorn.

Now, they have tried this bold gambit before. Remember how in 2016 we were instructed that real right-wingers must vote for Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit because…reasons? Here’s how that cunning stratagem was supposed to play out:

  1. Vote for Hillary instead of Trump.
  2. Liberals finish their fundamental transformation of America into Venezuela del Norte.
  3. Hey look, a squirrel!
  4. Conservatism is victorious.

Shockingly, people seemed resistant to this kind of outside-the-envelope thinking. But that has not stopped the Resistance Right from going for round two.

At least Wile E. Coyote learned not to stand under the same Acme anvil twice.

So now the kept-cons on the pages of the New York Times and the tiresome trolls on Twitter are again demanding that tomorrow we vote against conservative candidates and in favor of liberal ones to somehow make conservatives win. Hmmmm. I have several questions, among them, “What the hell is wrong with you people?”

But hey – Libs eat up the Benedict Kristol act and the conservaquislings get plenty of TV hits from their pals in the media dumping on actual cons. Isn’t that the important thing?

Not to actual Republican voters, but then we were never really important to these clowns.

It’s so transparently dumb that you wonder if they actually expect anyone to fall for it. In what world is giving Claire McCaskill another term going to help conservatism? How, exactly, is that supposed to work? Is letting her and her pinko pals run rampant over our civil liberties and America’s standing in the world going to get us Republicans so motivated that we … wait for it … elect someone who will do all the conservative things that Donald Trump is currently doing?

I’m not sure they have thought this out. It’s like merely posing a conservatives is enough. Isn’t it kind of alarming to realize that a significant portion of the allegedly intellectual wing of conservatism has bought into the idea of ideological participation trophies, yet here we are.

Or worse, maybe they have thought this out and just don’t care. They used to sneer “But Gorsuch!” at us when we pointed to that huge victory, as if success in advancing conservatism was not the only metric that mattered. But what matters to these people, these more-conservative-than-thou dopes who somehow convinced themselves that you can actual win by losing, is their own puny stature.

Maybe they want us to be defeated because they figure that if the movement loses, like it used to, we will turn on Trump and cast him out, leaving a vacuum that needs to be filled. And who would they propose fill that void? Oh wait, I have a guess. They imagine we’ll trash our own party and come crawling back to them, begging them to take their rightful places again on the bow of the cruise ship S.S. Conservative, Inc., shouting “I’m the king of the world, or at least of my little corner of it here at my desk in the Center for Conservative Coalitions of Liberty ‘N Eagles ‘N Families!”

All we have to do is take their advice and lose.

Nah.

I’m not worried that our voters will take their advice, because as my new book Militant Normals: How Regular Americans Are Rebelling Against the Elite to Reclaim Our Democracy, explains we Normals are woke to this particular nonsense,. The failure of their failures to do anything but fail will not fail to ensure that they fail at talking us out of voting our self-interest, just like they’ve failed at everything else, except failing.
