The complaint was made to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) on July 19, filed by an anonymous individual from Indiana. The charges have not been made public at the present time, but the docket released by the board on July 22 indicates that the Sanders campaign may have committed as many as five violations of the National Labor Relations Act.
The NLRB will ultimately determine whether or not these allegations have any merit. The Sanders campaign is also accused in the complaint of illegally firing a worker, modifying a labor contract unlawfully, and disciplining a worker excessively. It appears Sanders isnât even waiting until heâs President to institute a Gulag!
Sanders has come under fire in other ways for his campaignâs poor labor practices as well. After pushing the idea for a $15-an-hour minimum wage nationally, it was revealed that he didnât pay his own staffers that same wage in many cases.
âMany field staffers are barely managing to survive financially, which is severely impacting our teamâs productivity and morale,â the union representing Sandersâ campaign staff wrote in a letter issued to campaign manager Faiz Shakir. âSome field organizers have already left the campaign as a result.â
After the details of the negotiations were leaked to the press, Sanders commented against them in caustic comments that made the socialist egalitarian seem more like a penny-pinching fat cat.
âIt does bother me that people are going outside of the process and going to the media,â Sanders said. âThat is really not acceptable. It is really not what labor negotiations are about, and itâs improper.â
Sanders eventually capitulated after receiving widespread scrutiny regarding his campaignâs disingenuous labor practices:
Unfortunately for Sanders, that isnât the only humiliating hypocrisy he has to worry about. The Indianapolis office of the labor board will hold a preliminary investigation into the complaint filed against the Sanders campaign in the upcoming weeks. Lawyers for the board will decide if the claim is meritorious after the investigation takes place, and make a final determination on whether it warrants further action.
Sanders made history when his campaign staff was the first ever to be unionized under the United Food and Commercial Workers, but his campaign is showing that union labor is inefficient and difficult to manage. Sandersâ beleaguered campaign is ironically providing the nation with a teachable moment about economics.

âRussiagateâ has maintained an iron grip on American political discourse for two years now, even after Special Counsel Robert Muellerâs report cleared President Donald Trump of conspiring with the Kremlin to steal the 2016 US election. In the media, the public has been treated to nightly conspiracy theories and bizarre connect-the-dots articles claiming to prove collusion; and lawmakers have crafted ever more draconian sanctions bills against Russia and have slotted opposition to Russia into their campaign messages.
Meanwhile, Moscow and Beijing have looked to each other, holding joint military exercises and upping their trade volume to more than $100 billion in 2018. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev recently announced plans to build a new, 2,000km-long highway linking Europe and China, while President Vladimir Putin has been mulling connecting Russiaâs Northern Sea Route with Chinaâs Maritime Silk Road, an ambitious global trade route linking China with ports in Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
The idea of closer Moscow/Beijing cooperation clearly worries the New York Timesâ editorial board. In an op-edpublished on Sunday, the board wrote that âPresident Trump is correct to try to establish a sounder relationship with Russia and peel it away from Chinaâ â itself a remarkable compliment from a paper that ran op-eds titled âDonald Trump Hates America,â and âTrump is Racist to the Boneâ in the last five days.
The board then suggested that the US could strengthen its cooperation with Russia in space exploration and Arctic cleanup â areas untainted by âRussiagateâ. In addition, new arms control treaties could be a step towards geopolitical cooperation between the two rival superpowers.
All valid and worthy points, but from the New York Times? Yes, weâre talking about the same newspaper that last year called Trump a âtreasonous traitorâ ahead of his meeting with Putin in Helsinki. Instead of seeking rapprochement then, the paper argued that Trump should âbe directing all resources at his disposal to punish Russia.âÂ
Weâre talking about the same New York Times that dubbed Trump âPutinâs Lackeyâ and released a mocking videodetailing a âlove storyâ between Trump and Putin, laden with homoerotic overtones and culminating in a tongue-locking kiss between the two leaders. Itâs funny because theyâre gay, see?
The piece surprised many, like pundit George Szamuely, who wrote that Washington has âdemonized Russia and blamed it for every problem besetting [the] US,â while the Times âhas for years berated Trump for advocating this perfectly sensible policy, at times suggesting that he was doing so only because he was Putin’s agent and a traitor to the United States.â

Bear in mind that the Timesâ editorial board does not hold the same opinions as its revolving cast of op-ed writers. Still, for a newspaper whose writers almost unanimously despise the US president, Sundayâs op-ed represents a shocking repudiation of two years of anti-Russia, anti-Trump static.
Perhaps the outlet that often voiced the ideas of the American establishment has finally realized that the âRussiagateâ horse is too long dead for another flogging? Or maybe the Times saw itâs time for a new kind of politics: the politics of Detente. Either way, the change is a surprising one.

Far Left Watch exposed that Van Spronsen was apart of the group today in a Twitter post.

The John Brown Gun Club was promoted by CNN as recently as April where a commentator claimed the organization was âwhite, liberal, progressive people, inclusive, friendly to the world.â A man appearing to be Van Spronsen can be seen four seconds into a promotional clip released by CNN for their segment.
Van Spronsen released a manifesto to his comrades before he attacked the detention center in which he confirmed his ANTIFA ties and urged others to follow in his deranged footsteps.
âThereâs wrong and thereâs right. Itâs time to take action against the forces of evil,â Van Spronsen wrote. âEvil says one life is worth less than another. Evil says the flow of commerce is our purpose here. Evil says concentration camps for folks deemed lesser are necessary. The handmaid of evil says the concentration camps should be more humane. Beware the centrist.â
âThis is a call to patriots⊠to stand against this travesty against everything that you hold sacred,â he added.
Van Spronsenâs entire letter can be seen here:

ANTIFA is rallying around their fallen comrade, posting from their social media accounts lionizing Van Spronsen as a martyr and a hero for the anti-fascist cause. While conservatives are regularly tossed off social media for merely expressing their political beliefs, ANTIFA is allowed to promote terror on those same platforms.
Andy Ngo, a journalist who was recently brutally attacked by an ANTIFA mob in Portland, OR, highlighted the Seattle chapter for sympathizing with Van Spronsen in a Twitter post.

Two months ago, a member of the John Brown Gun Club was arrested and charged with felony harassment after apparently being photographed stalking right-wing activist Spencer Sturdevant while brandishing a firearm.
Many conservatives have called for ANTIFA to be named a domestic terrorist group at the federal level by President Donald Trump. This may be the best opportunity for Trump to do so, as their terrorist violence sweeps the nation.

Yes, really.
69-year-old Willem Van Spronsen was shot dead by police on Saturday morning at an ICE facility in Washington State after he threw molotov cocktails in an attempt to ignite a propane tank. He was also armed with an AR-15 semi-automatic weapon.
Van Spronsenâs manifesto subsequently emerged in which he stated, âI am Antifaâ and said the attack was a protest against the establishment of âconcentration campsâ in the United States.
Despite the fact that Van Spronsen is a domestic terrorist who literally tried to kill Border Patrol officers, Black Lives Matter mouthpiece Shaun King praised him on Twitter.
âWillem Van Spronsen just became the first martyr attempting to liberate imprisoned refugees from a for-profit detention center in Tacoma, Washington,â tweeted King.

He then described Van Spronsenâs manifesto as âbeautifulâ and added, âHe wasnât crazy -inaction is.â

King then tweeted an image of tributes to Van Spronsen and commented, âHis mind was very clear.â

Kingâs tweets are a direct violation of Twitterâs rules, which state, âWeâŠprohibit the glorification of violence,â but his account has not been restricted.

As we highlighted yesterday, both Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar refused to condemn the attack despite the terrorist using the same âconcentration campâ rhetoric as they did.
Van Spronsen also previously appeared on a CNN show because he was a member of a far-left gun club described as the âgood guysâ by a CNN host.

âI also learned of a recent pilot program that used rapid DNA tests to discover whether these family units were real. Nearly 30 percent were found to be fraudulent in the Rio Grande Valley-in other words, the adults bringing kids into the United States illegally werenât related to the children,â Cruz stated.
âThis is one of the most tragic elements of the crisis: the number of children who are being trafficked, who are being physically abused, sexually abused, and neglected. Often, they are being used as pawns,â Cruz said.
Former Republican Arizona governor Jan Brewer also said that President Donald Trumpâs program is catching human traffickers and âfraudsters.â
Opponents of the program include CNN and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
If Trump was supposedly separating families as the Left claims, why fight a test to ensure parenthood so that these âfamiliesâ can stay together?
Former Republican Arizona governor Jan Brewer said that President Donald Trumpâs program â so far tested as a pilot â to test the DNA of adult migrants who bring children to the southern border is already catching human traffickers and âfraudsters.â
The Department of Homeland Security has rolled out a âpilotâ program at a few select locations on the border that involves cheek-swabbing the migrants who come over the border and analyzing the results in the space of about an hour and a half.
Opponents of the program include CNN and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
If Trump was supposedly separating families as the Left claims, why fight a test to ensure parenthood so that these âfamiliesâ can stay together?

69-year-old Willem Van Spronsen was shot dead by police after he threw Molotov cocktails at the building and nearby cars on Saturday morning.
According to his manifesto, a copy of which was obtained by Jack Posobiec, Van Spronsen was armed with an AR-15 and stated, âI am Antifaâ.

The rest of the manifesto is a rambling advocacy of identity politics mixed with hysteria about âconcentration camps,â which clearly suggests that Van Spronsen was radicalized by fringe rhetoric from the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
At one point in the manifesto, Van Spronsen thanks his âtrans comradesâ and explains that he was armed with a semi-automatic weapon, suggesting he clearly planned to commit a massacre.
The Antifa gun club that Van Spronsen attended also locked its Twitter account down following the revelations.

As Posobiec highlights, âTwo months ago CNN ran a story promoting the Tacoma Redneck Revolt chapter of Antifa,â of which Van Spronsen was a member.
The revelation that Van Spronsen considered himself to be an Antifa member will increase pressure on authorities to officially declare the group a domestic terrorist organization.
Back in July 2017, the Department of Homeland Security in New Jersey officially listedAntifa as a domestic terrorist organization after a rash of violent attacks by the group targeting supporters of Donald Trump.

Politico Magazineâs Tim Alberta writes in American Carnage: On the Front Lines of the Republican Civil War and the Rise of President Trump that Ryan âNow out of office and trading in his power suits for a blue vestâ is once again criticizing the president and âsaw retirement as the âescape hatch,’â according to an excerpt obtained by the Washington Post.
âWeâve gotten so numbed by it all,â Ryan said. âNot in government, but where we live our lives, we have a responsibility to try and rebuild. Donât call a woman a âhorse face.â Donât cheat on your wife. Donât cheat on anything. Be a good person. Set a good example.â
President Trump ridiculed Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, in October 2018 after a federal judge dismissed her defamation lawsuit against him, tweeting: âGreat, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas.â In January 2018, a Wall Street Journal report alleged that Daniels, prior to the 2016 presidential election, was paid $130,000 to sign a nondisclosure agreement regarding an affair with the president in 2006.
The book details how Ryan was frustrated with the presidentâs approach to governing.
âI told myself I gotta have a relationship with this guy to help him get his mind right,â the former speaker recounted. âBecause, Iâm telling you, he didnât know anything about government⊠I wanted to scold him all the time.â
âThose of us around him really helped to stop him from making bad decisions. All the time,â he continued. âWe helped him make much better decisions, which were contrary to kind of what his knee-jerk reaction was. Now I think heâs making some of these knee-jerk reactions.â
President Trump, according to the book, is largely dismissive of Ryanâs attacks, often referring to him as a âfucking Boy Scout.â
Ryan retired from the House in January after serving three years as the chamberâs speaker. Under his watch, Republicans lost a House majority in the 2018 midterm election. Since leaving Congress, he joined Fox Corp. as a member of its board of directors.
Itâs no secret that President Trump and Ryan shared an uneasy relationship. In an interview with the Daily Caller, the president blamed the Wisconsin Republican for failing secure funding from Congress to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
âWell, I was going to veto the omnibus bill and Paul told me in the strongest of language, âPlease donât do that, weâll get you the wall.â And I said, âI hope you mean that, because I donât like this bill,ââ the president told the outlet.
âPaul told me in the strongest of terms that, âPlease sign this and if you sign this we will get you that wall.â Which is desperately needed by our country. Humanitarian crisis, trafficking, drugs, you know, everything â people, criminals, gangs, so, you know, we need the wall,â he added. âAnd then he went lame duck.â
In October 2016, Breitbart News published audio in which Ryan pledged not to defend then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump following the release of the Access Hollywood tape. âHis comments are not anywhere in keeping with our partyâs principles and values,â Ryan is heard telling Republican lawmakers during a conference call. âThere are basically two things that I want to make really clear, as for myself as your Speaker. I am not going to defend Donald Trumpânot now, not in the future. As you probably heard, I disinvited him from my first congressional district GOP event this weekendâa thing I do every year.â
Of course, President Trump went on to defeat his Democrat rival Hillary Clinton despite Ryanâs desertion.

On Sunday, Obama had celebrated the team, tweeting, âYes! Fourth star. Back to back. Congrats to the record breakers on the @USWNT, an incredible team thatâs always pushing themselvesâand the rest of usâto be even better. Love this team. #OneNationOneTeam.â

Last week, after teammate Megan Rapinoe had said she would not visit the White House, Alex Morgan of the U.S. womenâs soccer team seemed to indicate that even if the team got an invitation from President Trump, they might not visit the White House, saying, âI think we will make that decision after we finish Sundayâs game. I think there has been a lot of talk prematurely about the White House and about Trump but first we have to do business and then I think you guys know the answer to the question anyways.â Morgan added that it was unlikely some members might go and some might not, asserting, âI canât say 100 percent but this team is very close and we have always made decisions together so I canât really see us deciding to part in that way but at the same time if someone feels strongly then who are we to tell them to do or not do something.â
On Tuesday night, Rapinoe stated that the team would not go to the White House, telling Anderson Cooper of CNN, âI would not go and every teammate that Iâve talked to explicitly about it would not go.â She added, âI donât think anyone on the team has any interest in lending the platform weâve worked so hard to build and the things that we fight for and the way that we live our lives â I donât think we want that to be co-opted or corrupted by this administration. There are so many other people that I would rather talk to and have meaningful conversations that could really affect change in Washington than go to the White House.â
Rapinoe also stated to reporters, âWeâve said publicly â at least Iâve said publicly, I think most of the team, if not everybody, I think everybody is with me. We donât want to go to the White House. So I figure thatâs why the invitation hasnât come.â
GOAL reported in June, âIn 2017 it emerged that German club Darmstadt 84 were the only European club Obama followed on Twitter, sparking a frenzy of speculation as to why that was the case. armstadt, who now play in 2. Bundesliga, are not exactly powerhouses of European football, so the fact that USMNT player Terrence Boyd played for them (he has since moved on) was held up as one potential reason.â
