A 24-year old insurgent candidate for the Republican nomination to replace Mark Meadows in office scored an upset victory over an establishment-backed party favorite who had secured an endorsement from the President.

Madison Cawthorn is a small businessman and inspirational speaker. The young man was paralyzed six years ago in a car accident, and has cited his experience with his disability as a guiding light inspiring him to work on behalf of forgotten Americans in Congress.

The strongly conservative house district, which was vacated by longtime Representative Mark Meadows when he resigned to serve as President Trump’s White House Chief of Staff, will almost certainly elect Cawthorn, making the millennial the youngest member of congress, taking the title from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Cawthorn will reach the legal requirement of 25 years of age to serve in Congress in August.

Cawthorn scored an upset primary victory against Lynda Bennett on Tuesday’s primary election. The insurgent candidate secured two-thirds of the primary vote, coasting to a strong victory.

Previous remarks on the part of Bennett where the candidate proudly identified as a “Never Trumper” proved to be a source of controversy in the primary election, raising questions as to why President Trump endorsed a candidate who had spoken forcefully in opposition to his election as President.

Cawthorn is an eighth-generation native of western North Carolina.

Legendary radio host Rush Limbaugh went off in October on FOX News.

This was after another day of Never-Trumper hacks and hosts attacked President Trump and refused to defend the US president from the flimsy accusations of Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi and a partisan CIA “whisleblower.”

Rush must be tired with the BS on FOX News — so much so that he told the channel to change its name to “FOX Never Trumper Network.”

Since that time FOX News has loaded its impeachment panel with Never-Trumpers who hardly defend this president from the scurrilous accusations by Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff.

On Tuesday Rush Limbaugh went off on FOX News once again.

RUSH LIMBAUGH: I can’t tell you the number of people who are complaining to me about Fox and their analysis here. And, folks, all I can tell you is there’s nothing new about that. I’d lower my expectations if I were you. If you’re expecting what Fox used to be, you need to shift your perspective.

Neo-Con John Podhoretz appears to be cheerleading for a financial collapse just because it will increase the chances of President Trump being impeached.

The frequent Trump critic and former contributing editor of the now defunct Never Trump publication the Weekly Standard seemed perturbed at the Dow’s huge surge yesterday.

“How many people’s hearts sank when they saw the Dow went up 1,000 points because they really hoped Trump had plunged us into a bear market that would cause GOP legislators to turn on him and support removal after impeachment?” tweeted Podhoretz.

The neo-con later tried to back pedal on tweet, commenting, “Some lunatics are claiming this tweet represents a celebration of the market drop. I’m actually getting hate mail about it. Everyone is insane.”

However, given Podhoretz’s anti-Trump history, it’s difficult to take the tweet any other way.

Podhoretz’s crass tweet once again underscores how leftists and Never Trumpers actively want America to fail and Americans to suffer just so they can satisfy their Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The former George W. Bush speech writer is not the only prominent figure to wish for an economic collapse this year.

Back in June, liberal comedian Bill Maher openly called for a “recession” even if it hurt people.

“I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point,” said the Real Time host, adding, “By the way, I’m hoping for it because one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy. So please, bring on the recession.”

“Sorry if that hurts people but it’s either root for a recession or you lose your democracy,” Maher said.

After receiving criticism, Maher doubled down, remarking, “A recession is a survivable event,” Maher said. “What Trump is doing to this country is not.”
