Four children were among the weekend’s victims, including a 1-year-old boy fatally shot in Englewood, a 10-year-old girl killed in Logan Square and a 17-year-old boy killed in Humboldt Park.

Four children were among 65 people shot across Chicago this weekend, 18 of them fatally. Three of the children were killed.

The weekend gun violence brought Chicago past 300 homicides so far this year, the benchmark that Supt. David Brown challenged the police department to stay under in April. Last year, the city didn’t break 300 homicides until early August, according to Sun-Times data.

Three children killed

A 10-year-old girl was fatally shot Saturday night when a stray bullet hit her inside a Logan Square home on the Northwest Side.

She was inside the apartment about 9:40 p.m. in the 3500 block of West Dickens Avenue when the bullet came through a window and struck her in the head, Chicago police said.

Lina Nunez was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead hours later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Neighbors said they heard gunfire but believed it was fireworks. Police said the shots may have come from a group of males who began firing at another group in the block.

Earlier that afternoon, a 1-year-old boy was killed and his mother was wounded in Englewood on the South Side.

The woman and her child were driving home from a laundromat just after 2 p.m. when a gunman pulled up alongside them in another vehicle and opened fire near 60th and Halsted streets, according to police. The child was struck once in the chest, while his mother, 22, was grazed on the head. She drove them to St. Bernard Hospital, where the child died. The mother was later taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment and her condition was stabilized.

The New Normal In NYC: 11 People Shot In Under 12 Hours

Retiring detective warns the “demise” of NYC is coming if police continue to be stripped of resources.

By Steve Watson – 6/29/2020

As police warn that the disbanding of vital units will lead to anarchy in New York City, a total of eleven people were shot in the space of under 12 hours on Saturday night.

According to a report by The New York Post, there were eight separate shooting incidents between the hours of 5.30 pm to 5am in Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens and Manhattan.

Within one week there have now been 59 shootings in New York, with a total of 81 people shot.

Gun violence is up 358% in New York City since June 2019, with The New York Times reporting Tuesday that “It has been nearly a quarter century since New York City experienced as much gun violence in the month of June as it has seen this year.”

The explosion in gun violence dovetails with the disbanding of NYPD anti-crime units, a decision that means around 600 plainclothes officers will be taken off targeted raids and reassigned.

A retiring NYPD detective, speaking anonymously with the NY Post,  recently warned that the move will “be the demise” of New York City.

“Anti-crime guys are the guys are the guys who the real bad guys are looking out for. Anti-crime guys are going to drive around in not just unmarked cars. They’ll come around in other cars, rentals that the city gets that you wouldn’t think are police cars.” the detective noted.

“When you’re a really bad guy, and I’m talking about really bad guys, who won’t think twice about taking another life. When they step out of the car, those were the cops who they are afraid of,” he urged.

The detective blasted Mayor Bill de Blasio, saying that he has “absolutely no idea what policing is,” after he caved to the woke mob and embraced the “Defund the Police” movement.

Video: Terrorized Virginia Woman Being Attacked by BLM Mob is Told to “Call City Hall” by 911 Operator

A Virginia woman and her child were being attacked by a Black Lives Matter mob, so the woman called 911. Her call reached the 911 operator who did absolutely nothing but tell her to “call city hall.”

Tucker Carlson played the 911 call tonight as an example of how our local leaders are not protecting the citizens they were sworn to represent. When it comes down to it, local governments are caving to the mob and telling their police officers to stand down.

Listen to the frightened woman who is in shock when the 911 operator calmly refuses to help her:

There are numerous examples of citizens who desperately tried to reach the police or were attacked in their cars, but no one helped. Here is one from Santa Monica, California:

The victims are being made out to be the enemy. A recent article by NPR claimed people on the “far-right” have been running over people in the street. They cited 50 incidences. NPR would have their readers believe that far-right Americans suddenly decided just to start running over people? Doesn’t it have to do with the frightened motorists like the woman above who gunned it for safety when the mob came for them?

NPR is partly taxpayer-funded, so it’s important for them to be fair and balanced. They’re not. Americans need to know that their hard-earned taxpayer dollars are going to a media outlet that is as biased as CNN or MSNBC. In fact, one of their reporters is a regular on MSNBC. Yamiche Alcindor has been needling President Trump at White House press conferences for months. Should a reporter for NPR be grandstanding for the left?

NPR got caught and apologized yesterday for using the wrong photo. They replaced the photo with one from three years ago! They continued to push the false narrative that “right-wing extremists” are “turning cars into weapons”:

NPR didn’t consider that people were frightened by a crowd surrounding their car and attacking them.

Rep. Waters: “Incompetent and Heartless” Trump More Concerned About Statues Than Coronavirus

Just as her broken district begins to recover from riots, looting, and arson, the Los Angeles representative, Maxine Waters denounced the President claiming he “is more focused on saving statues of slaveholders, Confederate generals, and racists, than protecting the health of living and breathing Americans.”

“The United States remains the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, with more than 2.4 million cases and more than 124,000 deaths. My home state of California, Arizona, Texas, and Florida have seen their coronavirus cases skyrocket in the past two weeks,” Waters added. As the country and markets react to a second “scare” of coronavirus, Waters sidetracked the growing, social plague threatening the United States. The movement flooding major U.S. cities from Los Angeles to New York has caused the torching and looting of generational businesses.

The protests began following the death of George Floyd, a black man who was killed in Minneapolis under police custody. The phone-recorded video of his arrest showed an officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes while the man called, “I can’t breathe.” Those three words have become the rallying cry for democrats as they call for defunding the police.

As reported by The Hill, The twenty-nine-year, career politician, Maxine Waters, issued a lengthy statement attacking the President’s focus on condemning the actions of rioters and protestors as historic statues across the country increasingly fall or become defaced. Later this week, Trump will take up the pen to direct law enforcement to prosecute individuals involved in the devastation of federal or state monuments.

“I think many of the people that are knocking down the statues don’t even have any idea what the statute is, what it means, who it is when they knocked it down,” Trump said on Wednesday, in an unrelated press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda, according to NY Daily News.

Gun Sales Continue to EXPLODE As Nationwide Riots, Defund Police Movements Take Hold

Many realize the government won’t protect them.

By

2020 is shaping up as an all-time historic year for the firearms industry, as sales continue to surge, particularly among first time gun owners largely in response to left wing criminal riots and the nationwide “defund the police” movement.

Sales of firearms have already crushed 2019’s figures amidst the national uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, in some cases outnumbering the previous year’s sales estimate figures by percentage of 70% and 85%. The nationwide riot and anti-police movement seems to have fueled the already-astronomical demand for guns to an ever greater degree, according to reports from the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

The firearms industry research group, which compiled the statistics indicating a surge in gun sales during the pandemic, is reporting that retailers are describing a similar panic buy in response to the nationwide riots.

Mark Olivia of the NSSF explained the sudden demand for firearmsYou’re seeing a reaction to people’s concerns about being able to provide safety for themselves and the ones that they love.” According to NSSF statistics, women make up 40% of first-time gun owners in 2020, with many of them hailing from left-wing states such as California.

Firearms retailers who report to NSSF indicate that 40% of their total sales were to new gun owners, as well.

Semiautomatic handguns continue to sell as the preferred firearm of 2020 ‘panic buyers,’ with shotguns in second place.

In a world where major American municipalities are going through with plans to abolish their police departments as rampaging left-wing mobs enact terror and destruction upon the community, many Americans are deciding to take precautions relating to their own personal safety through gun ownership.

Seattle CHOP Leaders Tell Protesters to Go Home, Support “Revolutionary” Candidate Joe Biden

Organizers admit violence has ruined Communist utopia.

By Paul Joseph Watson – 6/25/2020

Suggesting that violence has distracted from the movement’s message, Seattle CHOP leaders have told protesters to go home vote for “revolutionary change” by electing Joe Biden.

Far-left Black Lives Matter demonstrators have been occupying the 6 block area of downtown Seattle for weeks, but entirely as predicted it has descended into violent anarchy, with two people being shot in the space of 48 hours over the weekend.

Indications are that the police will return to take back the SPD East Precinct that was ransacked by rioters early next week, prompting CHOP leaders to urge the dispersal.

“The CHOP project is now concluded,” a message posted on the official CHOP Twitter account said. “While we expect a very small handful of holdouts may try to remain in the CHOP no further organizing will be occurring to support this presence and the number on-site will be too small to be more than an annoyance for pedestrians rather than a zonal blockade.”

Andre Taylor, whose brother was killed by Seattle police in 2016, suggested that violence in the area had diluted the message organizers were trying to get across.

“If there was no violence you should’ve stood there for as [long as] you wanted to stay there, but the violence creates a different narrative where the people in authority have to look at it differently,” Taylor told KING-TV.

The message concluded by urging protesters to vote for “revolutionary change” by electing Joe Biden, a strange directive given that Biden is a veteran of the political establishment.

Despite Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan declaring the occupation to be a “summer of love,” violent crime skyrocketed by 300% and residents reported hearing gunshots and the screams of women likely being raped on a regular basis.

After numerous complaints from locals who said they were living in fear of their safety, Durkan was forced to do a 180 and order cops back in to reclaim control.

CHOP, which always felt like some weird chimera of the Burning Man festival and Charlie Manson’s Spahn Ranch, is over.

In summary, the utopian experiment has once again proved that Communism, on whatever scale it is attempted, always descends into violent mob rule.
