2.5 Million Guns Sold In March, SMASHING Previous US Record For Gun Buys
Americans want their guns.

Federal firearms licensees sold more than 2.5 million guns to the American public in March 2020, easily smashing the previously held record for the most gun sales in an individual month by more than a million transactions.
The gun sale data has been gauged by Small Arms Analytics, and the estimation of a total of 2,583,238 sales has been pulled from raw FBI National Instant Criminal Background Checks System data. It’s actually possible that the total figure of guns sales is a bit higher, considering gun sales between private individuals are not subject to the NICS system.
Not only does the figure of 2.5 million gun sales surpass the previous monthly record holder from March 2019, but it does so in a resounding fashion. 1.4 million guns were sold in that month, meaning that March 2020 surpassed the record by approximately 1.1 million sales.
A breakdown of the sales between long guns and handguns was provided by Small Arms Analytics. Handgun sales in particular spiked exponentially, easily surpassing previous quarterly highs in gun sales that preceded major American elections.
An alternate system of quantifying gun purchases utilized by the National Shooting Sports Foundation verified that March was in fact a record-setting month for gun sales.
The surge in gun and ammunition sales in the wake of the nascent Chinese coronavirus epidemic is well documented at this point, with gun and ammunition retailers reporting selling out their entire inventories and still not coming close to meeting demand.
As Americans arm themselves in unprecedented record-setting numbers, some major American municipalities and states have taken it upon themselves to wholly shut down the lawful firearms commerce and manufacturing industries. However, several of them have been stopped cold in their tracks, in light of federal guidelines from the Trump administration that recognizes businesses serving the Second Amendment community as “essential.”
New Jersey and Los Angeles County are among the two biggest governmental entities forced to walk back arbitrary commands that gun stores close in light of the guidelines.
Dubious state of emergency declarations that try to implement backdoor gun control in a hour where more Americans are seeking to lawfully arm themselves than ever before simply aren’t going to work, judging from historical amounts of armaments freedom-loving patriots have secured in the last month alone.
Two 10 Year Old Boys Arrested On Felonies For Playing With Toy Guns in Colorado

A couple of 10 year old boys were doing what 10 year old boys do, playing battle with some toy guns. Then someone called the police on them, and next thing the boys knew, they were being tossed into the back of police cars in handcuffs.
The two boys were charged with felony menacing, and forced to do community service, among other things.
Fox 21 in Colorado Springs reports:
A Fort Carson family wants to share their story with others after their 10-year-old son was arrested and charged with Felony Menacing, a Class 5 felony, which has since been expunged.
“They came back over, told me my rights, and told me what was going to happen. They put handcuffs on me, and I got into the car,” 10-year-old Gavin Carpenter said.
The incident happened in July of 2019.
FOX21 exclusively interviewed the 10-year-old. Gavin said he and a friend were playing outside with toys near N. Powers Blvd and Constitution Ave. He said they were playing a version of the video game Fortnite.
“The toy bow was an orange Nerf bow. It didn’t work. Nothing could shoot out of it. Nothing would come out of it. The weapon, well toy I had, had an orange tip. It was also broken and couldn’t shoot anything out of it,” Gavin said.
Gavin stated they pretended to shoot at about 5 to 10 cars until one man stopped. He said he and his friend ran to his friend’s grandparents’ house.
“He slammed his breaks and started reversing as fast as he could,” Gavin said. “He came up and started getting very heated and was very mad. I was at the time, very scared.”
The man called the police. According to the Carpenter family, El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies arrived and arrested both Gavin and his friend. He was handcuffed and taken to the Colorado Springs Police Department for mugshots and fingerprinting.
Gavin’s parents, Chris and Stephanie, followed the cars to the police station. They said that night Gavin wasn’t released until 10:30 p.m.
They immediately hired an attorney to help get the charge expunged from Gavin’s record. They were set a court date, and when they arrived, they were taken to a separate room instead of seeing a judge.
“It was just a hard no, that the District Attorney wasn’t going to throw this out,” Gavin’s father Chris said. “That is when we moved into the diversion program.”
The diversion program required Gavin to do community service, submit an essay, and other tasks before the expunge could happen. After 216 days of fighting it, the felony was finally expunged.
EPSO released this statement when we asked about the arrest:
“If anyone is dissatisfied with the actions of any employee of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, they have administrative avenues available to them. We encourage citizens to take advantage of those avenues.“
As Gavin, now aged 11, tells it in an interview with Fox21, he was armed with a Nerf gun equipped with an orange tip, while his friend had a Nerf crossbow; he said both toys were broken and incapable of shooting foam projectiles.
The boy said they pointed their orange-tipped gun and crossbow at five or 10 cars before they encountered an oncoming truck, whose driver slammed on the breaks and went in reverse.
Gavin and his friend ran inside a grandparent’s home, where a Ring doorbell camera captured the furious truck driver’s confrontation with the family.
‘He came up and started getting very heated and was very mad,’ Gavin told the station. ‘I was at the time, very scared.’
The video shared with Fox 21 shows the man, dressed in a plaid shirt and a baseball hat, yelling, ‘I don’t know what kind of gun it is. It was some kind of gun.’
An adult inside the house asks the stranger to ‘watch your mouth, please,’ to which the driver responds, ‘How about I call the f***ing cops?’
The driver made good on his threat and summoned deputies from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, who proceeded to arrest Gavin and his friend.
Both boys, then aged 10, were handcuffed, placed inside patrol cars and taken to the Colorado Springs Police, where they were photographed for mugshots and had their fingerprints taken.
According to his parents, Gavin is now ‘terrified’ of law enforcement and suffers from ‘flashbacks’ of his arrest.
Stephanie Carpenter explained in her post that she has decided to talk publicly about her family’s plight to educate other parents that this ‘could happen to anyone with children.’
She went on to say that the family had plans to settle in Colorado for good after her husband’s eventual retirement from the military, but all that has now changed.
‘I can’t live in a state where my kids can’t be kids and play outside without being scared of being arrested,’ she wrote. ‘I fully believe schools need to be educating children that this is a possibility. Had Gavin known….none of this would have happened.’
Chris Carpenter is scheduled to be relocated to another posting in less than three months, and his wife says the move could not come soon enough ‘as we are all ready to leave.’
She has expressed concern that her son, now aged 11, will spend the rest of his life dealing with ‘the mental repercussions’ stemming from his brush with the law.

Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke said on Labor Day that AR-15 and AK-47 owners will have to give up their firearms if he is elected president.
He posted a video on the topic, addressing “fears” that an O’Rourke administration would take away “assault rifles.”
He said, “I want to be clear: That’s exactly what we’re going to do. Americans who own AR-15s and AK-47s will have to sell their assault weapons. All of them.”
O’Rourke’s talk of AR and AK owners giving up or selling their guns is a continuation of his campaign pledges to do a forced buyback of certain categories of firearms. And it is only one aspect of his overarching gun control plan.
On August 31, 2019–the very day of the shootings in the Midland-Odessa region of Texas–O’Rourke admitted to not knowing the facts, then pushed gun control anyways. O’Rourke proclaimed, “This is f*cked up,” then went on to sell shirts emblazoned with the slogan for Moms Demand Action.
Philly Cop-Shooter Maurice Hill Attended Radical Mosque

At least six police officers were shot on Wednesday afternoon in Philadelphia’s Nicetown-Tioga section.
The officers were taken to Temple University Hospital and later released.
The shooter was later identified as Maurice Hill, 36. He has a long police record.
Maurice Hill surrendered late Wednesday night after shooting six police officers in a 7-hour-long standoff.
The shooter livestreamed his shooting on Facebook.
Maurice Hill attended the radical Masjid Ahlil Hadith Wal Athar mosque in Philadelphia, a mosque known for preaching radical Wahhabist doctrine.

Maurice Hill, the criminal who wounded six police officers in a shootout in Philadelphia and was arrested after a seven-hour standoff, attended a radical mosque.
The mosque, called Masjid Ahlil Hadith Wal Athar, is known for preaching the Islamist ideology promoted by Saudi Arabia referred to as “Wahhabism.”
Clarion Intelligence Network has been aware through its sources that the area where the shootings took place is known for trafficking in guns, drugs and counterfeit items. This criminal market has a strong Islamist element that includes extremist gangs.
Hill’s older sister said he “occasionally attended” an unnamed mosque, confirming initial reports from our sources that Hill is a Muslim. The sources do not yet have first-hand evidence of the shooter being personally involved in Islamist extremism.
Clarion Intel’s sources report that Masjid Ahlil Hadith Wal Athar is a Salafi mosque which follows the theocratic teachings of Saudi Arabia’s top Wahhabist scholars.
There is a protest planned for Friday night calling for Hill’s release from jail.
34 shot, 5 fatally, so far in Chicago during Memorial Day weekend

By Sunday evening of Memorial Day weekend, Chicago police had responded to the shootings of 34 people, five of whom died of their injuries, officials said.
The grim tally grew as a shooting Sunday about 6 a.m. in the 1300 block of West Hastings Street left two dead and three injured. The shooting was possibly in retaliation for an earlier one in the same University Village neighborhood where large crowds had gathered, and which also left a man dead, investigators said.
Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Chicago Police Department, said detectives believe there is a connection between the two shootings — on the same block, hours apart — that in total killed three people and injured five more.
“We do believe that the two shootings from 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. are connected,” Guglielmi wrote in an email to the Tribune.
Guglielmi said detectives are questioning four people of interest in connection with the shooting of five people on Hastings, in the ABLA Homes public housing community.
“Multiple weapons have been recovered and detectives believe our offender opened fire on a group of people with a TEC-9 semi-automatic machine pistol. Two victims suffered fatal injuries and two others are being treated at an area hospital,” he said in a statement.
After daybreak Sunday, police were called back to the 1300 block of West Hastings Street, where they’d responded just a few hours earlier. Guglielmi said officers had been to the housing community multiple times to disperse large crowds that had gathered.
“A review of police and security cameras show several hundred people were gathered prior to this incident,” he said.
Five people were shot during the second shooting; two men died of their injuries and three others who had been seated in a black sedan when a gunman opened fire were being treated for their injuries at Mount Sinai Hospital, according to police.
A 31-year-old woman was shot in the hip and a 25-year-old woman was shot in the left arm as they were sitting in the car, officials said. They were expected to recover from their injuries. Two men, ages 26 and 27, were shot and taken to Stroger Hospital, where they died of their injuries, police said. Information wasn’t immediately available about the fifth shooting victim.
In the first call on West Hastings Street, police were dispatched to a loud disturbance by a large group that had gathered about 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, police found a man unresponsive on the street. The 25-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A woman, 27, also was shot during the gunfire. She had a gunshot wound to her left forearm, and she also went to Stroger, where her condition was stabilized, according to police. A third person also was shot, but additional details on his or her injuries were not immediately available.
Guglielmi said Superintendent Eddie Johnson met with command staff Sunday morning and has been in contact with the Chicago Housing Authority regarding the private security patrols that are assigned to the complex.
Guglielmi said officers had also made 41 arrests for gun offenses and had taken 112 guns off the streets between 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Sunday as part of their Memorial Day weekend patrols.
Earlier, a man who was shot in the foot crashed into a Chicago police vehicle, injuring an officer, about 3:25 a.m. in the 1200 block of West 73rd Street in Englewood on the city’s South Side. The driver of a Hyundai Santa Fe, 23, was shot in the foot before he started driving the wrong way south on nearby Ada Street, according to police. At Ada and West 74th streets, he crashed into a CPD vehicle headed east, and the injured police officer was taken to a hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
The 23-year-old was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said. There were two passengers in the Santa Fe, and one was critically injured in the crash, officials said. A 26-year-old passenger was treated at Advocate Christ and his condition was stabilized, while a 25-year-old passenger also was being treated at Advocate Christ for injuries that were critical, investigators said. It was one of two crashes between Saturday night and Sunday morning that involved Chicago police vehicles and officers; the other left 10 Chicago police officers injured.
A 57-year-old who was known to police said he was walking in the 2700 block of West Flournoy Street in the Lawndale neighborhood about 1 a.m. Sunday when he heard gunshots and noticed he’d been struck once in the buttocks, police said. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized. No arrests had been made.
About 12:55 a.m., police were called to the 2300 block of South California Avenue in the Little Village neighborhood, officials said. A 23-year-old said he was on foot when two people started chasing him and shooting at him. He was struck in the chest and the back, though it was unclear whether that was two gunshots or one, creating both entrance and exit wounds, according to preliminary reports. The man, who was known to police, was taken by friends to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. The gunman or gunmen fled on foot, the man told investigators. No arrests have been made.
Two people were shot, one fatally, Saturday night in the Gresham neighborhood on the city’s South Side. About 10 p.m., two men, one 43 and the other 21, were standing on a sidewalk in the 400 block of West 77th Street when someone in a vehicle started shooting at them, according to police.
The 43-year-old was shot multiple times and was rushed to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he later died of his injuries, police said. A second man, 21, was shot in the left leg and was taken to the same hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. No arrests had been made.
