Meet The Michelle Obama Chief Of Staff Who Kept Jussie Out of Jail

Former Michelle Obama chief of staff Tina Tchen has now been exposed as the person who intervened with Cook County state’s attorney Kim Foxx to convince the judge to drop charges against hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett, a close friend of the Obama family.

Tchen runs the Times Up Legal Defense Fundas reported by nextshark. By January, the fund — which focuses on sexual harassment advocacy — had raised more than $14 million.

Disgraced hate-crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett has longstanding ties to the Obamas.

Cook County state’s attorney Kim Foxx is pulling a favor for the Obamas by getting their “close friend” Jussie Smollett off with no charges. George Soros’ money largely helped put Foxx in office.

“If Fox wants to be D.A. or go any further, she’s going to have to kiss the Obamas’ ass,” our source in Chicago politics tells BLP.

The Chicago Sun-Times just confirmed it: “Foxx’s call to Johnson came after an influential supporter of the “Empire” actor reached out to Foxx personally: Tina Tchen, a Chicago attorney and former chief of staff for former First Lady Michelle Obama, according to emails and text messages provided by Foxx to the Chicago Sun-Times in response to a public records request.

Tchen passed Foxx’s number to a relative of the actor, and the ensuing conversations with the family member were cited by Foxx last month as the reason she recused herself from Smollett’s prosecution as the actor faces disorderly conduct charges for allegedly making a false police report.

Text messages show Tchen contacted Foxx on Feb. 1, three days after Smollett said he was jumped by two men as he walked home from a sandwich shop near his Streeterville home. Tchen texted Foxx to set up an early morning phone call.

“I wanted to give you a call on behalf of Jussie Smollett and family who I know. They have concerns about the investigation,” Tchen wrote in a text sent before 5 a.m., seeking to set up a call with Foxx before Tchen left on an 8 a.m. flight to New York.

A few hours later, Foxx received a text from a relative of Smollett, who said she’d received the number from Tchen.”

Chicago Sun-Times passage ends

The pro-Bernie Sanders group Reclaim Chicago is sweet on Foxx as a politician (Obama still hasn’t endorsed anyone).

Reclaim Chicago works for the “Bernie Sanders Revolution” in Chicago:

Here is what Reclaim Chicago had to say about the Smollett hoax verdict, in which the judge dismissed charges in return for community service:

The Jussie Smollett case is a sad commentary on our celebrity obsessed society as well the fact that real hate crimes against Black LGBTQ in Chicago each year go without the same attention from police and the media.

This article talks about the increase of racially motivated hate crimes against Black LGBTQ across the country over the past few years. Of the 57% of all race related hate crimes, 28.4% were against African Americans, and “the next most frequent targets involved sexual orientation at 17.6 percent.” The article also talks about how these victims are often not believed by police and are more likely the victims of police violence.”

Here is Jurnee Smollett Bell’s Instagram post as Barack Obama was leaving office in January 2017:

“Feeling a lot of emotions. I remember meeting then Senator @barackobama 9 years ago. I’d been invited to introduce him in Nevada during the primaries. He was the underdog, the odds were stacked against him. Said he was too young, too black, too different…he was an other. I’ve always been an other so I saw myself in him. My own relative told me I was wasting my time, going state to state, knocking on doors for this guy with the funny name. I can’t tell you how many people hung the phone up on my sister @jazzsmollettwarwell and me as we clocked in our hours, phone banking. Working as if this was a full time job, I worked for free, because this work was food for my soul. They whispered that you couldn’t do it. That we couldn’t do it. And then tried to block you even when we proved them wrong. TWICE. You will go down as the greatest president who did the most with the least help from his “congressional leaders”. So I thank you for being you. Unapologetically. Your very existence demanded that I take the limits off my own. Before you, I lived in a world of boundaries and limits. You were audacious enough to dream big, and demanded we dream even bigger. So thank you for all you’ve given us. We will keep dreaming, keeping fighting, keep knocking on doors, keep traveling and spreading the gospel truth. Because it never was about you, it was about us, the “others”. Yes we can. Yeswe did. Yes we will.#powertothepeople ✊🏽 #ThanksObama #tbt #mypresident

And here is Jussie Smollett with Obama:

Washington told Ukraine to end probe into George Soros-funded group during 2016 US election – report

Screen Shot 2019-03-27 at 10.34.24 AM

An NGO co-funded by George Soros was spared prosecution in 2016 after the US urged Ukraine to drop a corruption probe targeting the group, the Hill reported, pointing to potential shenanigans during the US presidential election.

Bankrolled by the Obama administration and Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros, the Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC) was under investigation as part of a larger probe by Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office into the misallocation of $4.4 million in US funds to fight corruption in the eastern European country.

As the 2016 presidential race heated up back in the United States, the US Embassy in Kiev gave Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko “a list of people whom we should not prosecute” as part of the probe, the Hill reported. Ultimately, no action was taken against AntAC.

Lutsenko told the paper that he believes the embassy wanted the probe nixed because it could have exposed the Democrats to a potential scandal during the 2016 election.

A State Department official who spoke with the Hill said that while the request to nix the probe was unusual, Washington feared that AntAC was being targeted as retribution for the group’s advocacy for anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine.

AntAC wasn’t just the benefactor of well-connected patrons – at the time it was also collaborating with FBI agents to uncover then-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s business dealings in Ukraine. Manafort later became a high-profile target of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into alleged Russian collusion, and was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison for tax fraud and other financial crimes.

Lutsenko divulged in an interview with the Hill last week that he has opened an investigation into whether Ukrainian officials leaked financial records during the 2016 US presidential campaign in an effort to sway the election in favor of Hillary Clinton.

While AntAC may have failed to help the FBI find the Russia collusion smoking gun, the group’s activities constitute yet another link between the anti-climactic Russiagate probe and Soros, a Democrat mega-donor who bet big on Hillary Clinton taking the White House in 2016.

In 2017, the billionaire philanthropist siphoned money into a new group, the Democracy Integrity Project, which later partnered with Fusion GPS to create the now-infamous Steele dossier.

Spokespersons for AntAC and the Soros umbrella group Open Society Foundations declined to comment on the Hill’s scoop.

Ironically, the prosecutor general who had preceded Lutsenko, Viktor Shokin, resigned under pressure from Washington – which accused Shokin of corruption.

Virtuous US officials continue to make similar demands of Ukraine’s justice system. Earlier this month, Washington urged the Ukrainian government to fire its special anti-corruption prosecutor, again over accusations of administrative abuse.

Soros/Media Matters Manifesto to Destroy the Right Is Alarmingly Successful

By

S.Noble

CAP

The memo/manifesto, “Democracy Matters: Strategic Plan for Action,” outlines Brock’s four-year agenda to attack Trump and Republicans using Media Matters, American Bridge, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), and Shareblue, each with their own strategy and attack plan.

Created by Brock, the document was given out at a private meeting with deep-pocketed liberals/leftists in January. The meeting was led by David Brock, founder of Media Matters and a close ally of George Soros who also provides much of his funding.

On the surface, it’s a plan to influence the media and the public over the next four years but, at its core, it is a plan to manipulate and control the populace.

The nuanced document claims the moral high-ground and insists they have the “moral responsibility” to fight the right-wing.

The talk of impeachment is Media Matters idea; controlling Google and Facebook is their idea; delegitimizing Trump’s presidency and Republicans – their idea; partnering with Facebook and Google to fight so-called “fake news” – theirs.

Everything they outlined is taking place.

Media Matters will expand to do the following

For the next four years, Media Matters will, according to the document, fight right-wing “misinformation” and “propaganda”; “Google and Facebook” will not “enrich fake news sites and propagandists” [they will punish the sites if they don’t cooperate]; “alt-right social media harassment campaigns…will be punished and halted.

They are in fact going after everything right-wing.

They have a goal of promoting good journalism but it is based on their view that the right-wing is extreme and the mainstream news is journalism.

Their issues include correcting “misinformation” on left-wing issues of LGBT, workers’ rights, treatment of immigrants (illegal), gun control, gender equality, reproductive health (abortion on demand), climate and energy and economic policy [tax, spend, regulate]. If you look at their Progressive agenda, which includes identity politics, and compare it to that of the Communist Party USA, you will find them comparable.

They have the raw data of social media

Gateway Pundit has been analyzing it and pulled out the following paragraph indicating they have the raw data from social media sites.

“Media Matters has already secured access to raw data from Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites. We have also put in place the technology necessary to automatically mine white nationalist message boards and alt-right communities for our archive.

See the source image

We will now develop technologies and processes to systematically monitor and analyze this unfiltered data.”

With the raw data, they can control every facet of social media and, as a result, the minds of readers.

For example, on p. 43, they wrote they were building an algorithm at the time of printing that is “specifically designed to amplify negative content for Trump and deliver positive content to bolster the resistance. Further, by pulling the most widely shared progressive content from the top 1,000 social media accounts, Shareblue’s algorithm will not only aggregate, but drive news and opinion.” [Shareblue is their left-wing answer to Breitbart].

Also, Media Matters has mapped the right-wing  “fake news” sites, prioritized them, and has helped Google tailor their policies for advertising to shut these sites out.

They are behind the shutting down of the right on Facebook and Google by their own admission (p.12).

Having a wide reach isn’t enough, they want to recruit and train other bloggers to call out and shut down the right-wing. With the raw data and the cooperation of Google and Facebook, it won’t be hard for them to do and we already see it happening.

They also have the opposition research thanks to American Bridge. It’s American Bridge’s job to research, collect, store and disseminate their huge database of information to level the opposition.

The targets

The President of Media Matters, they admit, shut down Glenn Beck and got advertisers to pull ads from Limbaugh.

This document was printed before O’Reilly was forced off the air but The New York Times already published an article stating Media Matters spearheaded the silencing of O’Reilly by bullying his advertisers.

They say they derailed Rudy Giuliani’s cabinet nomination using their knowledge of his business connections.

They take credit for driving up the Koch brothers’ negatives. Koch’s money is “dark money” but theirs isn’t.

They are opposed to right-wing radio hosts, Fox News and now information from government agencies because of Trump. They admit they kept Murdoch from expanding.

The document explains how they obliterated Senators Richard Luger and Todd Akin.

The research

Through American Bridge, they are doing opposition research on Republicans to enable “Progressives” [they don’t say Democrats] defeat them in 2017 and 2018.

They have mapped out Donald Trump’s network of businesses and they have the largest video archive. “The campaign to stop him must be nonstop”.

Indeed it is.

On p.22, they talk about finding candidates to compete for Senate seats and Republicans are worried. Five seats will have competitors who are far-left but were also veterans or had some other impressive feature we normally see on the resume of a right-wing candidate.

They are going after every gubernatorial and legislative race.

At one point in the document, they talk about the Trump War Room (p.17, p.20-21) to keep Donald Trump unpopular.

Their wicked watchdog

Using Trump’s business empire as a target, their watchdog group CREW will keep up unrelenting pressure. Targeting all powerful special interests they oppose is on the list.

CREW takes responsibility for 40% of the fines passed out by the FEC in 2016. CREW has an army of pro bono lawyers according to the document.

Their media arm

Shareblue (P.41) is their antidote to Breitbart.

Their editorial priorities are to get Trump, tying him to Russia, and to destroy Pence.

Goals include calling out so-called signs of authoritarianism and championing those who warn us (Antifa?); nonstop coverage of the influence of Vladimir Putin and Russia on Trump and his administration; exposing Trump as weak, a thin-skinned “loser” vulnerable to goading; relentless beating the drum that he has no mandate, didn’t win the popular vote, and is the least popular president in U.S. history.

They are behind the movement to call out Trump’s alleged “conflicts of interest” and the movement to characterize the right as “subversives of the nation’s interests”.

The remainder of the goals are to highlight Trump’s supposed ties to white supremacists, track odious GOP legislation, track and comment on SCOTUS decisions, give positive coverage of Trump critics [it will be profitable], expose media journalists who “normalize Trump”.

To conclude, this is the outline of the assault from the far-left in a war for our culture and our freedoms.

In a footnote to this, several of the Wikileaks documents from Soros’s Open Society Foundation exposed their plan to control all media. Soros is known to have significant financial influence over 30 newspapers and other media outlets. Another Wikileaks email from Open Society revealed their plan to take over every government entity, from the smallest village to the presidency. They thought they were poised to do it until Trump won the presidency.

Soros, who funds Brock and Media Matters also funds Facebook’s “fake news” initiative.

THE SWAMP In Age of Trump, Democrats Claim It’s Anti-Semitic to Expose Money in Politics

By Shane Trejo

A favorite bogeyman of the Democratic Party throughout the years has been “money in politics” hurting our electoral integrity.

The whining reached a fever pitch after the Supreme Court reached a decision in Citizens United v. FEC (2010), which supposedly stacked the deck for Republican fat cats to purchase US politics wholesale.

In the age of President Donald Trump, everything has flipped on its head. Democrats have lost their marbles and with it, all principles they used to hold dear have gone out the window.

These maniacal liberals are now more than happy to take dirty billionaire money if they think it might help stop Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda.

Trending: EXCLUSIVE: Virginia Democrat Party Communications Director Calls Black Conservatives ‘An Embarrassment To America,’ Urges Them To Leave Virginia

House Freedom Caucus founder Jim Jordan (R-OH) was called “inane AND anti-Semitic” by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-CT) for issuing the following tweet pointing out the fact that Nadler was aggressively lobbied to push for impeachment by ‘Never Trump’ billionaire Tom Steyer:

CAP

Nadler said on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday that he plans to use his authority to harass Donald Trump Jr. as well as Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg.

“We are going to initiate investigations into abuses of power, into corruption … and into obstruction of justice,” Nadler said. “It’s our job to protect the rule of law.

“It’s very clear that the president obstructed justice,” Nadler added.

The newest liberal scheme is to call any criticism of billionaire leftist paymasters an anti-Semitic trope regardless of whether the accusations are true or not.

Republicans have been maligned in this despicable manner for pointing out the activism of not only Steyer but also billionaire oligarchs Michael Bloomberg and George Soros.

Data compiled by OpenSecrets.org shows that Steyer, Bloomberg and Soros were each within the top ten overall donors during the 2018 election cycle, giving nearly $200 million dollars to solely Democratic candidates.

While Democrats like to invent fake anti-Semitism to get people’s eyes off of who is funding them, they permit literal anti-Semitism to foment within their own ranks in the name of multiculturalism and diversity.

CAP

The Democrats are the party of radical Muslim anti-Semites, and the likes of Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) will make that abundantly clear in the years to come.

Viktor Orban attacks George Soros, who “is open about wanting to take over European institutions”

By

The European Parliament’s debate on the rule of law in Hungary will be a “George Soros-type seance, an election rally, a campaign event”, Prime Minister Viktor Orban told public Kossuth Radio.

Orban said he had always fought for “the Hungarian national interest” but he would not aid and abet next week’s “pro-migration campaign event” in Brussels.

The European left wing’s Spitzenkandidat, Frans Timmermans, who is currently the first Vice-President of the European Commission, is “Soros’s man”, he said, referring to the American-Hungarian billionaire.

“Soros is now open about wanting to take over European institutions”, the prime minister insisted.

See the source image

The progress of the infringement procedures against Hungary, which the commission decided to step up on Thursday, is also a sign of Soros’s big influence “and that he wants to increase it even further”, Orban said. This attempt should be thwarted at May’s EP election, “where we want pro-migration MEPs to be left in minority”, he said.

Regarding the EP’s decision to triple the funding of “Soros’s NGOs”, Orban said that this was “a decision executing point six of the Soros-plan”. The initiative to couple funding with the rule of law in member states was a “primitive proposal”contrary to EU rules, he said. Such a ruling would need the votes of all member states, and he would never vote for it. “It will not become reality”, the prime minister said.

Orban said his ruling Fidesz party had always opposed such “anti-Hungary” decisions, while the Hungarian opposition had supported them.

Soros ‘person of the year’ indeed: In 2018 globalists pushed peoples’ patience to the edge

By Robert Bridge

Capture.PNG

Since 2015, the proponents of neoliberalism have been pushing ahead with their plans for open borders and globalist agenda without the consent of the people. The last 365 days saw that destructive agenda greatly challenged.

In light of the epic events that shaped our world in 2018, it seems the Yellow Vests – the thousands of French citizens who took to the streets of Paris to protest austerity and the rise of inequality – would have been a nice choice for the Financial Times’ ‘person of the year’ award. Instead, that title was bestowed upon the billionaire globalist, George Soros, who has arguably done more meddling in the affairs of modern democratic states than any other person on the planet.

Perhaps FT’s controversial nomination was an attempt to rally the forces of neoliberalism at a time when populism and nascent nationalism is sweeping the planet. Indeed, the shocking images coming out of France provide a grim wake-up call as to where we may be heading if the globalists continue to undermine the power of the nation-state.

See the source image

It is no secret that neoliberalism relentlessly pursues a globalized, borderless world where labor, products, and services obey the hidden hand of the free market. What is less often mentioned, however, is that this system is far more concerned with promoting the well-being of corporations and cowboy capitalists than assisting the average person on the street. Indeed, many of the world’s most powerful companies today have mutated into “stateless superpowers,” while consumers are forced to endure crippling austerity measures amid plummeting standards of living. The year 2018 could be seen as the tipping point when the grass-roots movement against these dire conditions took off.

Since 2015, when German Chancellor Angela Merkel allowed hundreds of thousands of undocumented migrants into Germany and the EU, a groundswell of animosity has been steadily building against the European Union, perhaps best exemplified by the Brexit movement. Quite simply, many people are growing weary of the globalist argument that Europe needs migrants and austerity measures to keep the wheels of the economy spinning. At the very least, luring migrants with cash incentives to move to Germany and elsewhere in the EU appears incredibly shortsighted.

Indeed, if the globalist George Soros wants to lend his Midas touch to ameliorating the migrant’s plight, why does he think that relocating them to European countries is the solution? As is becoming increasingly apparent in places like Swedenand France, efforts to assimilate people from vastly different cultures, religions and backgrounds is an extremely tricky venture, the success of which is far from guaranteed.

One worrying consequence of Europe’s season of open borders has been the rise of far-right political movements. In fact, some of the harshest criticism of the ‘Merkel plan’ originated in Hungary, where its gutsy president, Viktor Orban, hopes to build “an old-school Christian democracy, rooted in European traditions.” Orban is simply responding to the democratic will of his people, who are fiercely conservative, yet the EU parliament voted to punish him regardless. The move shows that Brussels, aside from being adverse to democratic principles, has very few tools for addressing the rise of far-right sentiment that its own misguided policies created.

Here it is necessary to mention once again that bugbear of the political right, Mr. Soros, who has received no political mandate from European voters, yet who campaigns relentlessly on behalf of globalist initiatives through his Open Society Foundations (OSF) (That campaign just got some serious clout after Soros injected $18bn dollars of his own money into OSF, making it one of the most influential NGOs in the world).

With no small amount of impudence, Soros has condemned EU countries – namely his native Hungary – for attempting to protect their territories by constructing border barriers and fences, which he believes violate the human rights of migrants (rarely if ever does the philanthropist speak about the “human rights” of the native population). In the words of the maestro of mayhem himself: “Beggar-thy-neighbor migration policies, such as building border fences, will not only further fragment the union; they also seriously damage European economies and subvert global human rights standards.”

Through a leaked network of compromised EU parliamentarians who do his bidding, Soros says the EU should spend $30 billion euros ($33bln) to accommodate “at least 300,000 refugees each year.” How will the EU pay for the resettling of migrants from the Middle East? Soros has an answer for that as well. He calls it “surge funding,” which entails “raising a substantial amount of debt backed by the EU’s relatively small budget.”

See the source image

Any guesses who will be forced to pay down the debt on this high-risk venture? If you guessed George Soros, guess again. The already heavily taxed people of Europe will be forced to shoulder that heavy burden. “To finance it, new European taxes will have to be levied sooner or later,” Soros admits. That comment is very interesting in light of the recent French protests, which were triggered by Emmanuel Macron’s plan to impose a new fuel tax. Was the French leader, a former investment banker, attempting to get back some of the funds being used to support the influx of new arrivals into his country? The question seems like a valid one, and goes far at explaining the ongoing unrest.

At this point, it is worth remembering what triggered the exodus of migrants into Europe in the first place. A large part of the answer comes down to unlawful NATO operations on the ground of sovereign states. Since 2003, the 29-member military bloc, under the direct command of Washington, has conducted illicit military operations in various places around the globe, including in Iraq, Libya and Syria. These actions, which could be best described as globalism on steroids, have opened a Pandora’s Box of global scourges, including famine, terrorism and grinding poverty. Is this what the Western states mean by ‘humanitarian activism’? If the major EU countries really want to flout their humanitarian credentials, they could have started by demanding the cessation of regime-change operations throughout the Middle East and North Africa, which created such inhumane conditions for millions of innocent people.

This failure on the part of Western capitals to speak out against belligerent US foreign policy helps to explain why a number of other European governments are experiencing major shakeups. Sebastian Kurz, 32, won over the hearts of Austrian voters by promising to tackle unchecked immigration. In super-tolerant Sweden, which has accepted more migrants per capita than any other EU state, the anti-immigrant Sweden Democrats party garnered 17.6 percent of the vote in September elections – up from 12.9 percent in the previous election. And even Angela Merkel, who is seen by many people as the de facto leader of the European Union, is watching her political star crash and burn mostly due to her bungling of the migrant crisis. In October, after her Christian Democratic Union (CDU) suffered a stinging setback in Bavaria elections, which saw CDU voters abandon ship for the anti-immigrant AfD and the Greens, Merkel announced she would resign in 2021 after her current term expires.

Meanwhile, back in the US, the government of President Donald Trump has been shut down as the Democrats refuse to grant the American leader the funds to build a wall on the Mexican border – despite the fact that he essentially made it to the White House on precisely that promise. Personally, I find it very hard to believe that any political party that does not support a strong and viable border can continue to be taken seriously at the polls for very long. Yet that is the very strategy that the Democrats have chosen. But I digress.

Capture

The lesson that Western governments should have learned over the last year from these developments is that there exists a definite red line that the globalists cross at risk not only to the social order, but to their own political fortunes. Eventually the people will demand solutions to their problems – many of which were caused by reckless neoliberal programs and austerity measures. This collective sense of desperation may open the door to any number of right-wing politicians only too happy to meet the demand.

Better to provide fair working conditions for the people while maintaining strong borders than have to face the wrath of the street or some political charlatan later. Whether or not Western leaders will change their neoliberal ways as a populist storm front approaches remains to be seen, but I for one am not betting on it.

Breaking: Democrat Financier GEORGE SOROS Found Guilty in France for Insider Trading

It’s been quite a week for Democrat financier George Soros.

Earlier in the week The Financial Times of Great Britain named Soros their man of the year for funding open borders fanatics and anti-Western causes around the globe.

Capture

And, now this…

George Soros was found guilty this week of insider trading in France.

He will be fined $2.3 million for his crime.

The New York Times reported:

After a 14-year investigation, a French court today convicted the American financier George Soros of insider trading and fined him 2.2 million euros ($2.3 million), the amount prosecutors said he had profited from the trading. Mr. Soros, who was not present in the courtroom, called the verdict unfounded and said he would appeal.

Mr. Soros, chairman and president of Soros Fund Management, is one of the world’s richest fund managers, and probably its most famous. He is best known for making huge and very successful speculative bets in currency markets, and for his extensive philanthropy, most notably in countries of Eastern Europe.

Prosecutors accused Mr. Soros of buying stakes in four formerly state-owned companies in France, including one of the country’s leading banks, Société Générale, for his Quantum Endowment Fund in 1988 based on confidential information. The stakes were worth a total of about $50 million at the time.

Being “under siege” from Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin has earned George Soros the FT’s ‘person of the year’ title. Eyebrows were raised over the not-at-all biased description of the billionaire as a champion of democracy.

For thirty years, liberal businessman and philanthropist Soros has used his vast wealth to crusade against“authoritarianism, racism and intolerance,” the FT profile reads.

Capture

Armed with his expansive grant-giving network, Open Societies Foundations (OSF), the Hungarian-American spread his influence to some 100 countries across the globe. The NGO currently has annual expenditures of over $940 million, with 26 national and regional foundations and offices.

There’s hardly a question over whether the Soros-funded apparatus is doing the right thing. The first paragraph of the story says it just “helped thwart an allegedly corrupt nuclear power plant contract with Russia” – a feat to be admired in the liberal world.

“We haven’t stopped having a beneficial influence,” Soros is then quoted as saying.

ALSO ON RT.COMGeorge Soros’ Open Society foundation ends operations in Hungary

But there’s a worrying trend for the Democrat mega-donor, passionate advocate for open borders and outspoken critic of Brexit. More and more detractors see his work as an existential threat to conservative values and even state sovereignty.

The “standard bearer of liberal democracy and open society” has found his ideals “under siege” as he “has attracted the wrath of authoritarian regimes and, increasingly, the national populists who continue to gain ground,” writes FT.

Capture

At one point Soros sounds a bit more critical of himself than the paper, as he acknowledges he’s a divisive figure, something he still believes indicates his effectiveness as an activist.

“I’m blamed for everything, including being the anti-Christ,” Soros says. “I wish I didn’t have so many enemies, but I take it as an indication that I must be doing something right.”

Soros wasn’t joking. Hungarian lawmaker Andras Aradszki of the Christian Democratic People’s Party (KDNP) once declared that it is a Christian’s duty to oppose Soros’ calls for Europe to take in asylum seekers from Africa and the Middle East – what Aradszki called Satan’s Soros plan.” The lawmaker added that “Soros and his comrades want to destroy the independence and values of nation states.”

Capture

In May, the OSF ended its operations in Hungary, citing an “increasingly repressive political and legal environment.” A month later, Hungary’s parliament passed the ‘Stop Soros’ law which threatens jail time for anyone helping illegal immigrants claim asylum.

Hungarian PM Viktor Orban accused Soros of attempting to use mass migration to undermine Europe’s stability.

“Soros has antagonized not only us but also England, President Trump and Israel too,” Orban said in February.“Everywhere he wants to get migration accepted. It won’t work. We are not alone and we will fight together… and we will succeed.”

ALSO ON RT.COMHungary approves ‘Stop Soros’ law criminalizing aid to illegal migrants

In the UK, the billionaire has been sharply criticized for his donations of over £800,000 ($1,062,000) to pro-EU campaigns. The pledges included £400,000 to Best for Britain, a campaign group that has been at the forefront of anti-Brexit activism.

Capture

The businessman’s activities have received similar hostility in the United States, where some have accused him of providing assistance to the so-called “migrant caravan” which made its way from Central America to the US’ southern border. “The venom, long concealed among extreme right networks, has leaked into the mainstream,” laments the FT.

Capture

Soros, along with other notable critics of Donald Trump, such as former President Barack Obama, the Clintons and CNN, was recently targeted by an alleged pipe bomb mailed to his home in New York.

A prominent backer of the Democratic Party, Soros has called Trump a “danger to the world,” and once (wrongly) bet that stocks would collapse if Donald won presidency. The bet reportedly cost him $1 billion – quite affordable for the investor who is currently worth $8.3 billion after his 2017 transfer of $18 billion to the OSF.

ALSO ON RT.COM‘Lock him up!’ Smiling Trump joins chant against Soros (VIDEO)

For a man who made billions short-selling the UK pound sterling and has been accused of several more currency crises in Asia, FT’s Soros comes across as a wise old benefactor “looking beyond his formidable legacy” in his “twilight years.”

But for all the accolades, the paper may have forgotten that the businessman has long had his sights set on a title more ambitious than merely the ‘person’ of the year. In a 1993 interview with the UK Independent, Soros actually confessed that he suffers from a god complex.

Capture

“It is a sort of disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out,” he said.

While 81% don’t want more migration, European leaders shamefully ignored the will of the people by signing the UN Pact

New research indicates people want less migration, not more – 81% want the opposite of the UN Pact signed Monday

At about the same time that Merkel and other globalist leaders were celebrating the controversial UN Migration Compact in Marrakesh, Morocco, on Monday, Pew Research Center published its new findings on how citizens feel about the impact of immigration in 27 different countries around the world.

The results confirm what true democratic leaders did by rejecting the Marrakesh deal: countries like America, Hungary, Italy, and almost a dozen others chose to listen to its people’s desire for LESS migration instead of more.

Pew Research states in its paper that “as the number of international migrants reaches new highs, people around the world show little appetite for more migration.”

In fact the median of 27 such disparate countries as Argentina, Indonesia, India and Israel that want less immigration was 45%. A further 36% of interviewees said that current immigration rates are enough whilst only 14% wanted more immigration.

So while the UN is pushing hard for millions more to immigrate globally, a full 81% of citizens interviewed in these countries say they do not want more, and most of them want fewer immigrants.

A recent Gallup poll indicated that up to 750 million people – one tenth of the planet’s population – want to migrate permanently to another country, which would cause untold havoc on Western countries’ welfare systems and societies.

So whilst unelected bureaucrats keep driving the narrative that Western countries need more immigrants to “survive”, it is becoming clear that people everywhere are diametrically opposed to this view.

What is also clear is that there is a growing populist movement, mostly right wing, which has finally started listening to its citizens – thus Democracy, one where votes actually matter, may be seeing a comeback.
