Ted Lieu Deletes One Antisemitic Tweet — But Leaves Others Up

Ted Lieu (Facebook)

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) deleted a tweet Thursday in which he accused U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman of dual loyalty — the same antisemitic theme used in the past by Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).

The Israeli government denied Omar and Tlaib entry into the country, based on their support for boycotting Israel. Omar said earlier this year that Americans who support Israel owe “allegiance to a foreign country,” and Tlaib said that U.S. Senators who support Israel “forgot what country they represent.” Both statements were condemned at the time as antisemitic, as they evoke the slur of “dual loyalty” that has often been used as a pretext to persecute Jews.

Lieu had tweeted: “Dear @USAmbIsrael: You are an American. Your allegiance should be to America, not to a foreign power. You should be defending the right of Americans to travel to other countries. If you don’t understand that, then you need to resign.” He madethe same accusation on CNN as he was interviewed by anchor Wolf Blitzer. “He doesn’t seem to understand that his allegiance is to America, not to a foreign power,” Lieu told Blitzer, saying that Friedman should have been fighting for Omar and Tlaib to have the right to enter Israel, despite Israeli law.

On Thursday evening, Lieu deleted his tweet, and tweeted: “It has been brought to my attention that my prior tweet to @USAmbIsrael raises dual loyalty allegations that have historically caused harm to the Jewish community. That is a legitimate concern. I am therefore deleting the tweet.” He did not apologize, however.

In addition, Lieu left up several tweets making the same accusation against several Republican legislators (and using the “dual loyalty” slur in praising Rep. Justin Amash (I-MI) for criticizing Israel’s decision).

Justin Amash Stands with Anti-Jewish Congresswomen, Demands Open Border in Israel for Omar and Tlaib

Amash is once again showing cultural solidarity with Tlaib and Omar.

By Shane Trejo

Rep. Justin Amash (I-MI), who left the Republican Party due to his hatred of President Donald Trump earlier this year, is demanding that the state of Israel let his anti-Semitic “colleagues” Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) into their country.

Amash apparently believes that Israel permitting the far-left socialist Congresswomen into the Jewish nation would help diplomacy and serve as a rebuke against President Trump.

“Israel has decided — we won’t enable the members of Congress to enter the country,” Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely told the Kan public broadcaster.

“We won’t allow those who deny our right to exist in this world to enter Israel. In principle this is a very justified decision,” she added.

Amash, who is the son of a Palestinian refugee similar to Tlaib, is unhappy with the decisions made by the sovereign state of Israel. He has previously been criticized for being the only Republican voting against setting a national anti-Semitism monitor.

Omar and Tlaib have previously heaped praise toward Amash before he left the Republican Party when he came out in favor of impeachment based on the dubious contents of the Mueller report.

Amash has also defended Tlaib and Omar as well as their fellow “Squad” members Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) recently after Trump blasted them for their hostile anti-American, socialist beliefs.

Rumors continue to persist that Amash may seek the presidential nomination as a Libertarian or as an independent in 2020, but he isn’t likely to take many votes away from Trump considering his support for some of the most unpopular far-left legislators in America.

Democrats Planning Media Blitz to Accompany Mueller’s Testimony

WASHINGTON, DC - JULY 17: Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) answers questions during a press conference at the U.S. Capitol on July 17, 2019 in Washington, DC. Pelosi answered a range of questions including on the articles of impeachment raised by Rep. Al Green (D-TX) and the recent …

House Democrats are launching an aggressive media campaign on Tuesday to accompany former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony on Capitol Hill Wednesday regarding his investigation into alleged Russian collusion and obstruction, according to a report.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office has turned Mueller’s 448-page report — which found no criminal conspiracy with Russia and declined to make an assessment on obstruction — into a six-page document highlighting what they consider to be its most damning findings, The Hill reported.

The six-page document, dubbed “Exposing the Truth,” will be distributed Tuesday to Democrat lawmakers to guide their “outreach to voters,” according to the outlet.

“Members will go home and have to engage their constituencies on what’s next — how do we hold this president accountable?” a leadership aide told The Hill. “So we put it all at their fingertips.”

The memo was coordinated between Pelosi’s office and the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, where Mueller will testify for a total of five hours.

In addition, Pelosi’s office is launching a “social media blitz” and planning to tweet more than 20 quotes from Mueller’s report with the hashtag “RetweetTheReport.”

The leadership aide told The Hill that they hope to see more Republicans “come out” as has Rep. Justin Amash (I-MI), who recently switched from Republican to independent. He is also facing a tough re-election fight.

“I think you might see, after Mueller, potentially some more Amashes come out. Maybe not for impeachment, but definitely not being able to walk away from the facts,” the aide said.

Ilhan Omar to Trump: ‘You Are Stoking White Nationalism’

U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) speaks at a press conference on the No Shame at School Act on June 19, 2019 in Washington, DC. The bill, which is sponsored by Omar, will ensure that no child is shamed or goes without eating a school lunch due to a lack of …

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said Sunday that President Donald Trump is “stoking white nationalism” after he penned an earlier tweet suggesting that a few unidentified progressive congresswomen should “go back” to where they came from.

“You are stoking white nationalism because you are angry that people like us are serving in Congress and fighting against your hate-filled agenda,” Omar, who was born in Somalia and came to the U.S. as a refugee with her family, tweeted.

Omar’s tweet was a response to Trump’s series of Sunday morning tweets telling a group of progressive Democrat lawmakers to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came” before coming back to show the U.S. “how it is done.”

His tweets evoked a response from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who “rejected” Trump’s “xenophobic comments meant to divide our nation” and urged him to come up with an immigration policy that would “stop the raids.”

Rep. Justin Amash (I-MI) also condemned Trump’s comments, noting that most people in the group he singled out were American citizens who were “born here.”

“To tell these American citizens (most of whom were born here) to ‘go back’ to the ‘crime infested places from which they came’ is racist and disgusting,” Amash wrote.

Bill Kristol’s Democrat-Funded Nonprofit is Bankrolling Pro-Justin Amash Ad Campaign

Kristol’s front, the Republicans for the Rule of Law, is buying at least $50,000 worth of ads to promote Amash.

By Shane Trejo

Although Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) is rapidly losing support from constituents in his own district, he has gained new allies in the elite media class as a result of joining the Democrats to support President Donald Trump’s impeachment. Bill Kristol, the globalist neocon architect of the Iraq War, is now pumping money into Amash’s re-election efforts as a result.

A nation organization with ties to prominent Democrat funders, the Republicans for the Rule of Law, will be spending $50,000 on an ad buy urging Republicans to support Amash as he tries to railroad the President.

Certain ads will air during the “Fox & Friends” program on Fox News until Friday. The nonprofit will also put print ads in a Grand Rapids newspaper as well as producing digital ads.

“Our leaders all take an oath to defend and uphold the Constitution. It’s a solemn agreement between the American people and those they choose to serve in government,” Republicans for the Rule of Law said in a statement.

“Their party affiliation, personal ambition and desire for reelection all come second to that solemn oath. Rep. Amash is upholding his oath, putting the good of the country above smaller matters. Every politician should follow his example,” they added.

The television ads can be seen here:

Kristol, who ran the now-defunct Weekly Standard, has been praising Amash since he publicly declared his support for Trump’s impeachment despite the fact that Trump was cleared of any Russian collusion by the Mueller report.

After being run from the GOP following failed sabotage efforts against Trump in 2016, Kristol has gone back to his leftist roots and started taking funds from at least one far-left oligarch. Progressive billionaire Pierre Omidyar’s non-profit Democracy Fund has given at least $600,000 to Kristol’s front group, Defending Democracy Together.

Omidyar has donated millions to organizations in the George Soros network such as the Open Society Foundations and the Tides Foundation. Republicans for the Rule of Law is listed as a “a 501(c)(4) nonprofit and a project of Defending Democracy Together” on their own website.

Amash’s opponents have speculated that he is being propped up by Democrats for years, and now they have solid evidence to back up that theory. Democratic dollars will be used to help Amash gain re-election in 2020 to continue his campaign against President Trump.
