Doctor and former MP Marcus Franz says white girls in Vienna, Austria have begun wearing Islamic headscarves to prevent street harassment by male Muslim migrants.

During an appearance on OE24, Franz revealed that in migrant-heavy areas fathers were telling their daughters to wear hijabs so as to disguise the fact that they are non-Muslim.

“Speak with women on the street, speak with children, speak with young girls, I myself know fathers who, when their daughters who are coming home in the evening, when they live in a problem area, give them headscarves so they won’t be recognized as Austrians,” said Franz.

“I know this personally, in the 15th district (Vienna), this is a fact,” he added, saying that women were afraid because of “permanent micro-aggressions” and being sexually propositioned by Muslim men.

He added that the girls were being “propositioned with unpleasant aggression and attitudes, and the girls and women, quite simply, are afraid.”

“You can see it in the population if you work in a social profession like me,” remarked Franz, adding, “We need to distinguish clearly between the settled population and those who have arrived more recently.”

The story bears some similarities to how some German girls in migrant-heavy schools are also wearing hijabs to prevent bullying.

As we previously reported, a mother in Germany whose daughter was being bullied by Muslim students because she was blonde, Christian and didn’t wear a headscarf was told by the headmaster of a school in Frankfurt to cover her up with a hijab.

The mother of the student told BILD that her daughter was being bullied by Muslim girls to such a degree that she had to “take them out of school for protection.”

“She was beaten and verbally attacked on the way to school,” said the mother, explaining that abuse was because her daughter has blonde hair, doesn’t wear a headscarf, has a German-Hebrew name and is a Christian.

When the headmaster was informed of the situation, he advised the mother to cover up her daughter with a hijab.

“Your daughter does not have to say that she is German. Besides, you can give her a headscarf!” she was told.

At Rotterdam Blaak Station in The Netherlands people could experience what it is like to wear the islamic headscarf. “We want to remove the prejudices about the headscarf”, said Sobia Laghari, one of the activists, on Radio Rijnmond. “We also want to introduce people to their own tradition, as wearing a headscarf was also done in the Netherlands in the Middle Ages.”

Sobia does realize that these are not easy discussions. “Many of the prejudices state that headscarves would be oppressive, that there is no question of freedom, we want to show today that it is different.”

In the tent women could experience what it’s like to wear a headscarf. “We think that a headscarf gives us freedom”,  Sobia said. “We do not have to comply with an ideal picture of what a woman should look like.”

Oppressive, that’s exactly how women on the other side of the spectrum think about the hijab. The No Hijab Movement started as a counter-protest to World Hijab Day, which is supported by 180 countries.

Yasmine Mohammed tells that wearing a hijab was never a choice for her growing up.

And so just a few days before World Hijab Day she announced that she was going to be burning a hijab and wanted people to join her in protest of this idea that the hijab is this completely innocuous piece of cloth. She wanted to stand in solidarity with the women who can be harassed and abused and imprisoned and even killed for not wearing it. Because that’s what we should talk about.

On social media the hashtag #FreeFromHijab was used for pictures from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait, Canada, Sweden, France – all over the world. Some women are in hijab, some are posting before and after pictures of hijab that they used to wear and the fact that they are now free from hijab. It gave women a chance to celebrate not only the mental constraints from the ideology behind wearing a hijab, but the physical constraint of wearing a cloth over their heads.

Machete Attack at UK McDonald’s

A 47-year-old man has been taken to hospital with wounds to the face following an attack by a machete-wielding man at a McDonald’s in Sheffield, England, according to police and local media.

The suspect, 21, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of a knife or bladed article and possession of drugs, according to South Yorkshire Police.

Eyewitnesses say the assailant entered the restaurant at approximately 9:30am and slashed his victim unprovoked.

A man with a bloodied face and a head bandage was seen being escorted from the McDonald’s by emergency medical personnel.

“It was a sword. We were so scared. We thought he was going kill everyone,” one woman told the Sun. “The first thing I thought was it was terrorism.”

Police say they have already ruled out terrorism as a motive.

“I turned around and there was a man in the doorway shouting with a large machete in his hand and a man staggering in front of him with lots of blood running down his face,” another witness told BBC.

The attack comes days after a man wielding an ax or hammer chased terrified shoppers in a London Tesco in an incident captured on CCTV.

“Migration most serious threat to Europe”, says Hungarian defence minister

Migration is the biggest threat to the safety of Europeans, the Hungarian defence minister Tibor Benko said ahead of a two-day meeting with his European Union counterparts in Bucharest.

Europe, and Hungary specifically, have entered a new phase in terms of security policy, Tibor Benko told MTI. Europe’s security has deteriorated considerably, he said, adding that routine solutions were not adequate for dealing with new types of security challenges.

The ministerial meeting will focus on European defence initiatives, coherence between the various defence training projects and military operations, Benko said. He urged European leaders to take the security threats facing the continent and its citizens seriously and start pursuing a new direction on migration. Benko added new global security challenges like terrorism, migration or cyberwarfare required a joint European response.

Berlin Police Academy Rigging Exams For Migrants – Report

The Berlin police academy is lowering standards for some new recruits in order to enable more migrants to join the force, according to German media.

An anonymous whistleblower identified as officer “Lee Roy” leveled the shocking claim in a recent interview.

“Of course it’s well known that the Berlin police are in need of personnel, and that’s why they’re trying to employ anyone at this time, and so they turn a blind eye,” says Roy.

“They want to raise the migrant quota working for the Berlin Police,” he asserts. “This is deliberately political, and so there is pressure from the top to the bottom.”

“And so they had to think about: how do we get more migrants into the agency when they can’t master the current tests? So they were given a memo with the answers on it, so they could pass the tests in any case.”

Roy claims that some applicants take pictures of the test questions and post them online or on WhatsApp.

He also says some recruits who fail the exams are allowed to take them over and over until they pass.

When asked to address the allegations, police spokesman Thomas Neuendorf expressed his frustration that “anonymous” whistleblowers are “putting accusations into the world” that are “very, very hard to rebut.”

He said concerned individuals such as Lee Roy should “explain these problems” to academy leadership – a move Roy believes would be the end of an officer’s career.

When asked about increasing the ‘migrant component’ of the police force, Neuendorf denied the existence of ‘quotas,’ but added that they do indeed employ migrants who can use their understanding of foreign languages and cultures to ‘defuse’ many incidents.

Neuendorf acknowledged that while exam takers are forbidden from bringing study aids or electronics into testing rooms, it is very possible that they might do so anyways.

“You’ll see the consequences of this in four or five years on the streets, of what’s happening right now,” Roy warns.

It works: Salvini’s border control policy reduces migrant arrivals by 95 percent

Under the migration policy of Italy’s Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, migrant arrivals in January 2019 are down by around 95 percent compared to January 2018.

Official data shows that 3,176 illegal immigrants arrived in Italy in January 2018 under the leadership of the Democratic Party which had told Italians they were actively working to reduce the number of landings and had reduced the number somewhat compared to 2017.

Much of the credit for the reduction of illegal migrant arrivals rests on the policy of Salvini who, last year, told migrant transport NGOs that they would not be welcome to dock in Italian ports and drop off migrants in what many referred to a “taxi service”.

“For the first time, returns are superior to arrivals”, Salvini said following the release of the new statistics. After closing the ports, Salvini and the Italian government have focused on increasing deportations and, as a result, have seen more deportations of radical Islamists than any other country in Europe in 2018.

While the number of migrants has been significantly reduced both in the Mediterranean and on the land border with Slovenia, the migrant transport NGO Sea Watch has continued attempts to land in Italy, with their vessel Sea Watch-3 currently off the coast of Syracuse with 47 migrants on board.

Last week, Salvini ordered Italian authorities to investigate the vessel and the NGO and demanded that the Dutch government take in the migrants due to the fact the ship had been flying under the flag of the Netherlands.

‘Blasphemous and offensive’: Muslim customers lambast Nike for ‘writing Allah’ on shoe’s sole

Thousands of Muslim customers have demanded Nike recall their Air Max sneakers, claiming that the sports giant “insulted Islam” by spelling out the word ‘Allah’ in Arabic on the bottom of the shoe.

A Muslim buyer, Saiqa Noreen, who had noticed the writing which she found offensive, even launched an online petition asking the sports company to remove the popular trainer from the shelves.

Noreen discovered that the Air Max logo design depicted on the sole has similarities to the word ‘Allah’ in Arabic. The woman accused the company of having a disrespectful attitude to Islam, and said that it is “outrageous” to “allow the name of God on a shoe.”

“Nike has produced the Nike Air Max 270 shoe with the script logo on the sole resembling the word Allah in Arabic, which will surely be trampled, kicked and become soiled with mud or even filth,” Noreen wrote.

“This is disrespectful and extremely offensive to Muslim’s and insulting to Islam.”

The company refuted all allegations of intentionally insulting the Muslim community, saying the logo is a “stylised representation of Nike’s Air Max trademark” without any religious significance.

“Nike respects all religions and we take concerns of this nature seriously,” a Nike representative said.

“The Air Max logo was designed to be a stylised representation of Nike’s Air Max trademark. It is intended to reflect the Air Max brand only. Any other perceived meaning or representation is unintentional.”

Finland Identifies Over 200 Migrants Who Pose Security Threat

While about two percent of Finland‘s rejected asylum seekers have been found to pose a security threat, the authorities are having trouble in locating them, as some have already left the country.

An intelligence risk assessment of 9,000 asylum seekers who have received negative asylum decisions since the autumn of 2017 has established that over 200 of them pose a potential danger, national broadcaster Yle reported.

The aim of the risk assessment carried out by the National Bureau of Investigation was to identify “individuals who have the potential to commit crimes in Finland,” who later will be prioritised for deportation. The list includes those who have been suspected of committing a crime at some point or those suspected of posing a threat to national security.

“It is determined by the whole picture, although attempted murder and assault on its own can also lead to prioritisation,” NBI crime inspector Ritva Elomaa told Yle.

The actual number of rejected asylum seekers who made the list and are still in the country may be much smaller than that the NBI assessment, though, as many are believed to have left the country.

The National Police Board admitted that the list of priority deportations will be subject to daily changes.

Western culture has been under attack on multiple fronts and now is in crisis after years of demoralization.

“We have to go through the names on the list one by one and see who has already been deported”, police inspector Mia Poutanen told Yle.

The authorities’ campaign to identify and deport dangerous asylum seekers has been further complicated by the fact that the police are seldom informed about rejected asylum seekers that choose to leave the country of their own accord.

Furthermore, some individuals with criminal records may have reapplied for asylum, while international laws say they cannot be deported as long as their application is pending.

The Finnish police are trying to prevent their “disappearance” by interning rejected asylum seekers in detention centres until they can be deported.

“People who have committed serious crimes are usually in prison, and deportation takes place once their prison sentence has been served,” Poutanen explained.

However, this system doesn’t always work as intended, as the authorities identified as many as 5,000 “missing” asylum seekers in 2017.

The risk assessment for rejected asylum seekers was commissioned by the government of Finland after the Turku stabbing on 18 August 2017, when rejected Moroccan asylum seeker Abderrahman Bouanane killed two and left eight injured in Finland’s first-ever terrorist attack. Bouanane was later given a life sentence.

In the past few weeks, a grooming gang scandal involving migrants and asylum seekers assaulting underage schoolgirls as young as 10 has left Finland deeply shaken.

Apart from drawing the condemnation of high-ranking Finnish politicians including Prime Minister Juha Sipilä and President Sauli Niinistö, it also sparked a citizens’ petition demanding the deportation of migrant sex offenders.

The initiativee, backed by over 100,000 Finns, has been supported by the right-wing Blue Reform party, whose leader Sampo Terho expressed himself in favour of “speedy deportations.”

Swedish Leader Calls to Seal Border

A Swedish political leader is calling on his government to establish a limit on incoming refugees.

Various political parties, specifically the Social Democrats, are abusing migration policies for short-sighted political gain, according to Moderate party chairman Christian Sonesson.

“I believe that Sweden must introduce a total refugee [limit], and many other moderates consider it too,” said Sonesson. “The Social Democrats are now selling out our common welfare by introducing an even more generous migration policy.”

“[The Social Democrats] use migration policy to bring together [government support] in Parliament. Apparently, power is more important than the country’s well-being.”

An agreement entitling 20,000 migrants to be reunited with their families is reportedly the “generous” migration policy Sonesson is referring to.

Sonesson goes on to stress the significance of migration policies by saying they impact almost everything else a government is capable of doing.

He ultimately wants to bring all parties to the negotiation table for objective cooperation to solve the crises stemming from the nation’s migration policies.

Correspondingly, another Swedish politician slammed Sweden’s policies as the most “disturbed” in the Western world.

“It’s probably one of the most disturbed countries in the West. And it’s not just about immigration,” said Alternative for Sweden’s Gustav Kasselstrand. “It is about all the authorities we have today where most of them are taken over by left interests.”

“So it is clear that it will take time. It has taken decades to make Sweden what it is today, thus in a negative way. So it will take decades to fix the problems.”
