UN Migration Pact Crumbles As Attention Drawn to Disturbing ‘Replacement Migration’ Plan

By Chris Menahan

Bulgaria has become the latest nation to reject the United Nations’ controversial “migration pact” joining the US, Australia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Israel and Poland.

“Bulgaria will not join a United Nations accord on regulating the treatment of migrants worldwide and would not attend the conference marking its formal adoption in Morocco next week, its centre-right government decided on Wednesday,” Reuters reports.

The pact reportedly seeks to make immigration a “human right” and “criminalize criticism of migration” as “hate speech.”

The government of Belgium is currently “teetering on the brink of collapse” as a result of their ruling party saying they would back the pact.

Capture

In discussions over the pact, many people brought up a disturbing plan from the UN which called for “replacement migration” to address the “new challenges of declining and ageing populations.”

Though the plan was released in 2001, the UN sometime over the last two weeks took down a page many people were linking to which featured the plan (it’s still up on another section of their website).

Here’s some of the excerpts which got people concerned:

As you can see from the chart, the UN wants us to fit 4 billion people into Europe and the UK (current population 508 million).

All the countries which are rejecting the UN’s latest compact should instead form together to create a “repatriation plan” which enshrines national sovereignty, strong immigration policies and strong borders as a basic human right.

Mainstream media grieves for Bush with whitewashed tributes and tear-jerker tweets

Mainstream media grieves for Bush with whitewashed tributes and tear-jerker tweets

Tributes to former US President George H.W. Bush have flooded social media since his death last week — and judging by the outpouring of grief from mainstream media, journalists seem to be just as upset at his passing as anyone.

Instead of honest, balanced tributes which delivered a full picture of Bush’s life and legacy, the media seemed to favor hagiography, retelling the former president’s life with its blemishes removed.

The New Yorker was a particularly bad offender, with writer Thomas Mallon describing Bush as a character who had an “irreducible niceness” to him, a man who waged a “just” war in Iraq and a president who “presided over a brief but glorious Pax Americana.”

Another New Yorker journalist Susan B. Glasser, who described the late Senator John McCain’s funeral as a“meeting of the resistance” was back again for Bush’s sending off, this time to remind her followers how“extraordinary” a thing it is for a country to have two presidents from one family.

Glasser’s tweet raised a few eyebrows, however, with many noting that living in a “hereditary aristocracy” wasn’t actually such a great thing and that dynasty politics tends to be “indicative of rigid class structure with decreasing social mobility.”

CNN journalist Brenna Williams tweeted a GIF image of George Bush passing a piece of candy to Michelle Obama; a mirroring, she said, of their viral candy-passing moment which “warmed our hearts” at McCain’s funeral a few months ago.

On NBC’s Today Show, one anchor expressed that she was still “recovering emotionally” from the few days surrounding Bush’s funeral.

Prominent Russiagate reporter and Twitter personality Ed Krassenstein, tweeted that Bush’s funeral was “a reminder that Republicans are mostly good people.”

On the other side of the pond, the Guardian newspaper sparked some Twitter outrage with its obituary, writing that the former president “did not put a foot wrong” during his devastating 1991 invasion of Iraq, which was described by the paper as an “impressive achievement.”

Screen Shot 2018-12-06 at 11.55.12 AM

British TV presenter Piers Morgan was also saddened by Bush’s passing, chiding Comedy Central’s The Daily Show for posting a meme about the awkward meeting between Donald Trump and Barack Obama at “a great man’s funeral.”

Screen Shot 2018-12-06 at 11.55.59 AM

Receiving less attention during a week of public mourning, however, were the uncomfortable bits of Bush’s legacy. The US airstrikes which massacred Iraqis fleeing Kuwait City in 1991, leaving a trail of human destruction known now as the Highway of Death, barely got a mention.

Nor did the shooting down of an Iranian passenger jet by the USS Vincennes in 1988, after which the ‘irreducibly nice’ Bush declared that he would “never apologize for the United States of America, ever — I don’t care what the facts are.

The Bush obituaries also conveniently left out numerous recent allegations of inappropriate touching and groping of women that had cropped up during the height of the #MeToo movement.

Elysee fears ‘putschists’, coup attempt during Yellow Vests protests this weekend – media

Elysee fears ‘putschists’, coup attempt during Yellow Vests protests this weekend – media

With more Yellow Vests protests approaching this weekend Elysee Palace is worried about a possible coup attempt. Calls have been made to attack parliamentarians and police forces, French media report.

Even though the French government abandoned the fuel tax hike after sweeping protests, the movement still calls upon its followers to gather on December 8. “The Act IV” will be held under the motto “we stay on our course.” The Facebook event has already counted 6,000 people who wish to participate and 22,000 others who are “interested.”

On Thursday Eric Drouet one of the movement’s most famous leaders announced the Yellow Vests plans to approach the residence of Emmanuel Macron. “Saturday will be the final outcome, Saturday is the Elysee, we all would like to go to the Elysee,” he said.

ALSO ON RT.COMFrench parliament’s left parties to discuss vote of no confidence against governmentThe intelligence services have reported to the Elysee Palace, the official residence of the president, that there have been “calls to kill” and “carry arms to attack” parliamentarians, government officials and police officers, Le Figaro newspaper said on Thursday.

“They are putschists. [There is] a coup attempt,” a source claimed. The ministry has even been reportedly instructed to forbid its staff and ministers from working this weekend.

Security forces were also tipped that Saturday’s demonstrations may be hit by unprecedented violence caused by both “radicalized…extreme right and extreme left,” Le Figaro added.

Yellow Vest protests, named after high-visibility jackets all drivers in France must carry in their vehicles, are entering their third week. Started as unprompted rallies called on social media against fuel price hikes and Macron’s unpopular reforms, they have evolved into one of the most dangerous challenges for the nation in recent decades.

December 1 protests turned violent across the whole country and saw over 130 people injured and more than 400 arrested. Four people, including an elderly woman, died amid the fierce clashes between rioters and officers.

ALSO ON RT.COM5 striking VIDEOS that reveal the violence & compassion of France’s Yellow Vest protestsThe French government had to concede to the protesters’ demands and abandoned the fuel tax hike plan – at least for the 2019 budget. However, French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe who broke the news, did not clarify whether Paris might reintroduce the hike in a budget update later in 2019.

The real problem lies in the government that has lost touch with its people, Yellow Vest protesters recently told RT. The government has to “put humane attitude first, and not the money,” one more demonstrator said. Another added that they “would prefer to be at work, than to find [themselves] on the streets shouting, hoping for nothing.”

According to Jean Bricmont, a French writer and political commentator, the fiery protests have more to do with the “incompetent,” EU-dependent government policy than the rising gas prices. “The revolt is not just about the gas prices, it’s a general revolt against the policy of the government,” he told RT.

HONDURAN MIGRANT GIVES BIRTH IN US HOSPITAL LESS THAN 24-HRS AFTER JUMPING BORDER FENCE

Honduran Migrant Gives Birth In US Hospital Less Than 24-Hrs After Jumping Border Fence

American taxpayers will be hit with the hefty hospital bill and be forced to pay for her anchor baby’s entire life

American taxpayers will be hit with the hefty hospital bill and be forced to pay for her anchor baby’s entire life.

From The Daily Mail:

A 19-year-old Honduran woman who wanted to give birth to her second child in the United States had a son within 24 hours of climbing the border wall.

Maryury Elizabeth Serrano-Hernandez, 19, went into labor November 27, less than 24 hours after she climbed over the border fence in Tijuana with her husband, 20, and two-year-old son.

‘With the faith in God, I always said my son will be born there [in the United States] because he will be born there,’ Serrano-Hernandez told Univision.

She is believed to be the first member of the migrant caravan to give birth after crossing to the U.S. to seek asylum.

Serrano-Hernandez and her family were detained by agents from the Imperial Beach Station in San Diego County on November 26.

A spokesperson with the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agency told DailyMail.com: ‘The woman, who was eight months pregnant, began complaining of abdominal pain Tuesday and was immediately transported to a local hospital by Border Patrol agents.’

[…]Serrano-Hernandez and her family started their journey to America in mid-October when the first wave of the massive caravan set out from Honduras and lingered in Guatemala before the Mexican government caved in and let scores of Central American migrants walk through its southern border. She was already heavily pregnant at this point.

[…]Last week, Ortiz and his pregnant wife decided it was the perfect time to climb the border wall.

They climbed over a fence and safely touched American soil. The three Hondurans walked up a dirt hill before they were met by border patrol agents from a nearby station.

Ortiz, who is wearing an ankle monitor, recalled the agents asked them to return back to Tijuana but he and his wife declined the immigration officers’ request, turning themselves in.

Our border control consists of politely asking people who illegally invaded our country to please leave.

When they say no, we take them in and put them straight on welfare.

Julius Malema: White Privilege and Racism Prevents Whites From Giving Up Property without Compensation — Calls for Black Unity

By Jim Hoft – December 6, 2018

In 2011 South Africa youth leader Julius Malema told his supporters that the white farmer’s land must be sharedby all black Africans.

Malema was arrested for playing “Kill the Boer (white man)” song at his rallies.

In February Malema called for new law to confiscate land from white farmers.

The South African Parliament agreed with Malema and voted to confiscate land from white farmers without payment in February.

In March Julius Malema called on his followers to go after the white man and cut the throat of whiteness.

In August Julius Malema called for a united African continent.

Earlier this week Julius Malema said racism and white privilege are preventing white people from giving up their property without compensation in South Africa.

Times Live reported:

Malema noted that white people who participated in the public participation process of the committee, whether rich or poor and even the landless, were in unison in opposing expropriation of land without compensation. He said this was because when white interests and privilege were threatened, white people protected each other.

“Why would people think alike like that, if it is not an issue of racism and privilege which seeks to perpetuate landlessness among those who were conquered by criminals who came into our country and took our land?”

He said that among black people, and Africans in particular, there were different views as they did not come from a process that sought to isolate anyone. Rather, he said, it came from a background that sought to win a debate through an honest engagement.

“Here you have got a group of people who 90% of them vote for the same party. This is white privilege, this is in defence of white privilege which seeks to perpetuate landlessness among our people,” said Malema.

He called for black unity, saying this was very important when it came to the matter of land.

Ungrateful Honduran Illegal Migrant Who Complained About Mexican “Pig Food” — Is Seen Dining in Dallas, Texas

By Jim Hoft

In November ungrateful Honduran migrant “Lady Frijoles” upset her Mexican caretakers when she complained to reporters about the free beans and tortillas provided to the members of the caravan camping out in Tijuana, Mexico.

The Honduran woman interviewed by the reporter described the free meals given to her as ‘pig food.’

“The food that they’re handing out here is terrible. Refried beans? As if they were feeding the pigs. If we don’t eat this, we will die of hunger,” the ungrateful Honduran migrant said.

It was later discovered the woman was hardly a “refugee” and lived a comfortable life in Honduras.

Mirian Celaya, the infamous “Lady Frijoles,” later went missing. Of course, many leftists and illegal migrant supporters thought she was the victim of violence.

Nope.

This weekend Mirian was filmed in Dallas, Texas eating at a local restaurant.

Her sister posted video on Instagram of the two sisters in Dallas.

When everyone wondered where Mirian Celaya is, the Honduran migrant who despised Mexican beans, she was already crossing to the US.

And in the last hours have circulated videos of the Honduran controversy with his sister, celebrating his arrival in the ‘American dream’.

“Here is my sister, for all those who hurt my sister, all those who said she was dead,” says Mirian’s sister in tears.

The two sisters even posted a photo from inside the Dallas restaurant.

It begins: Party that wants to “make Spain great again” storms the polls

By VOICE OF EUROPE 5 December 2018

Vox leader Santiago Abascal

“make Spain great again”.

As Voice of Europe reported, for the first time in decades a right-wing party won seats in a large Spanish region.

By gaining 12 parliamentary seats in Andalusia, Vox shocked and gave a strong blow to Spain’s left.

For a lot of Spaniards the result of Santiago Abascal’s Vox came as a surprise, but probably not for the leader himself. We are “in step with what millions of Spaniards think,” Abascalsaid earlier.

Polls since January this year show that Vox received five times more support in Spain. A recent poll even shows the party is at 10 per cent of the vote.

Screen Shot 2018-12-05 at 4.41.43 PM

“We stand for the same law-and-order and social conservative causes as Trump,” Santiago Abascal, the leader of the movement says in an interview.

Like most conservative populist parties Vox focuses on reducing migration and Islamisation as it vows to “make Spain great again”.

According to The Local, a leftist media outlet, Vox is here to stay in Spain and we will hear more of them:

“The political shockwaves from Sunday night will be felt all around the country right through 2019 to the local, regional and European elections in May.

“Spain now has its own alt-right or national populist party, and moves into five-party politics territory.

“Not that the four-party politics that came out of the 2015 elections was getting the country anywhere fast or better, but room for one more, it seems,” columnist Matthew Bennett said.

Internal Facebook documents, previously seized by Britain, confirm that the tech giant made a habit of sharing user data with other firms without user consent and tried to avoid bad publicity by obfuscating its data vacuuming.

The British Parliament on Wednesday released a trove of Facebook documents, which it took possession of amid a larger inquiry into Cambridge Analytica, a firm that used Facebook data to profile users for political purposes. MP Damian Collins, who chairs Parliament’s Digital, Culture Media and Sports Committee, said the probe established several key issues.

ALSO ON RT.COMUK MPs seize documents expected to expose Facebook’s covert data harvestingFacebook’s change of platform in 2014-2015 allowed it to enter into “whitelisting” agreements with app developers, giving them access to user data, in particularly how users are linked as friends within the platform. The documents didn’t reveal what policy Facebook used to decide which firms were worthy of the privilege and which were not.

The increased exposure of private data generated more revenue for app developers, and this outcome was the key driver behind the changes made by Facebook. The social network itself received data about how people were using third party apps in return.

The data-hungry mammoth wanted to know how people used their mobile phones, so it changed Facebook’s mobile app to enable it to harvest more information from devices it was installed on. It deliberately made it harder for users to be aware of this happening in order to avoid bad PR, the MP stressed.

Facebook also used its position as user data provider to affect the businesses of its competitors in social media, like Twitter, the report said.

Paris abandons fuel tax hike after sweeping protests – French PM

The French government says it has dropped the fuel tax hike plan that has sparked massive Yellow Vests protests and eventually got suspended with a half-year moratorium Tuesday – at least for the 2019 budget.

“The government is ready for dialogue and is showing it because this tax increase has been dropped from the 2019 budget bill,” French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe told the lower house of parliament Wednesday.

Philippe did not clarify whether Paris might re-introduce the hike in a budget update later in 2019.

South African parliament brings country one step closer to seizing land from white farmers

Screen Shot 2018-12-05 at 11.54.29 AM

MPs in South Africa have adopted a report on a proposed change to the constitution, which would allow land to be seized from white owners without compensation. An attempt to stop it in court failed last week.

On Tuesday, South African parliament approved a report which recommends changing the national constitution to allow the state to take privately-owned land without compensation as long as it is justified by public interest. Redistribution of land, supporters believe, would be beneficial to the South African public.

President Cyril Ramaphosa, who came to power in February, has made it a priority for the ruling African National Congress (ANC) to adopt a racially-loaded amendment to the country’s constitution. A small white minority owns most of the farmland in the former colony, and ANC insists that it’s a historic injustice that needs rectifying.

This is just one step in a lengthy legal process of changing the nation’s foundational law in accordance with Ramaphosa’s vision. The next would be drafting a bill enacting the constitutional amendment, followed by a period of public feedback before it can be put to a vote. Both chambers of the Parliament will then have to approve the bill before it is sent to the president for signing into law.

The main opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) and some rights groups are critical of the plans, saying they would scare off international investors and potentially damage the national economy. DA said ahead of the Tuesday parliament debate that it may go to court to stop the proposed reform.

But last week’s decision by South African High Court may be an indicator that such a challenge may not be successful. Last Friday the court rejected a challenge brought by AfriForum, a group representing mainly white Afrikaners, requesting the judiciary to overturn the parliamentary report and thus stop the reform process.

The group argued that the committee broke the rules when it appointed an external service provider to compile the report. It also said the MPs failed to consider over 100,000 submissions opposing the constitutional change.

Afriforum, which mostly consists of Afrikaners, the descendants of South African white colonist farmers, said it will continue to fight the reform, including through legal action.

ALSO ON RT.COMLand confiscation plans will hurt South Africa’s economic growth, IMF warnsThe expropriation without confiscation amendment may not be finalized before parliamentary election scheduled to be held in May next year. The ANC is using the land reform to whip up public support before the ballot.

Ironically the racially-sensitive issue was raised a day before South Africa commemorated the anniversary of the death of Nelson Mandela, the former president of the ANC and the country itself, who is credited for destroying the apartheid regime.
