Migrant arrested for planning to poison Italian public water supply

By VOICE OF EUROPE 29 November 2018

A Palestinian migrant was arrested on Wednesday morning for planning to poison a public water supply.

The man, who has an Italian residency permit, was captured in the city of Macomer.

A Palestinian national, the 38-year-old suspect was arrested by the Italian police in the Sardinian town under suspicion of planning to poison the island’s public drinking water supply.

He had been under surveillance for a lengthy period of time until the police moved in to arrest him on Wednesday.

The town, with a population of 10,000, was on lock down by the security services and they swiftly arrested the suspect as he left his home.

A judge granted security forces permission to immediately undertake the urgent operation due to the severity of the risk.

Migrants Report Cash Transactions Between Mexican Officials to Allow Them Access to US Border

A number of migrants are alleging that Mexican officials at the U.S. border are charging substantial sums of money to gain access to make asylum claims in the U.S.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Mexicans are overseeing a list, which they are using to decide who is allowed to cross two bridges over the Rio Grande into Brownsville, Texas from Matamoras, Mexico.

Cuban asylum seeker Elvis Gonzalez Rodriguez, 23, said that when he arrived at one of the bridges over the Rio Grande last week, a uniformed Mexican immigration official demanded he pay $1,000 to cross. When Rodriguez refused, the official made him leave.

“There’s a lot of corruption here,” Rodriguez, an electrician from Havana said. “It’s the responsibility of Mexican officials to protect immigrants. I want to come the correct, legal way.”

He wants U.S. officials to help asylum seekers and investigate what’s happening on the bridges.

“They need to help us,” he said. “They need to know about the corruption, how it’s a business to pass here.”

The Times reported that another Cuban asylum seeker said a uniformed Mexican immigration official “demanded $500 to get her across the old bridge after she arrived at Matamoros airport in mid-October.”

She told the paper that other Cubans seeking asylum called her cellphone after crossing the bridge into the U.S. saying the Mexican officials made them pay between $100 and $300 to move to the front of the line.

“They are. I know that’s a fact,” said Michael Seifert, an ACLU border advocacy strategist in Brownsville. “It’s only gotten worse. It’s gotten more expensive. The Cubans are targeted because they have money.”

Seifert said that African immigrants are forced to wait weeks because “they don’t speak enough Spanish to understand the bribe.”

Asylum seekers from Cameroon reported being falsely told by Mexican officials in Matamoros that the U.S. was not accepting more Africans.

Michael Randy, 30, who is from Cameroon, said he was able to speak with U.S. customs officers at the bridge, who assured him the claim was false.

Randy told The Times he fled Cameroon after police shot his younger brother and raped his wife in front of him and burned down the home they shared with their 2- and 3-year-old daughters. He recounted that he was imprisoned and tortured for 77 days.

“It’s not fair,” Randy said of how Mexico is handling the border crossings. “I could stay for a month — there’s no certain time.”

Christina Patiño Houle of the nonprofit Rio Grande Valley Equal Voice Network said the situation needs to be addressed.

“These are incredibly dangerous areas where these individuals are waiting for days and weeks to enter the bridge. We sometimes have pregnant women, women with toddlers, who are sent back into territories that are managed openly by cartels,” she said.

The Times reached out to Customs and Border Protection regarding claims of Mexican officials charging asylum seekers to cross bridges into the U.S. and was told the matter should be taken up with Mexico.

“Mexico is a sovereign nation, and our authorities do not cross international boundaries,” the agency said in a statement. “Actions of Mexican officials, or people in Mexico, should be addressed to the government of Mexico including any actions taken on the Mexican side of bridges and in the border cities of Mexico.”

The CBP said that asylum seekers are “processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.”

CBP told the Times it “does take into consideration persons with medical emergencies, unaccompanied alien children, the disabled, and gives priority as we can, bearing in mind the day-to-day availability of resources, case complexity, holding space, port volume and enforcement actions.”

1,400 ‘No-Go’ Zones For UK Ambulances, Attacks on EMTs Skyrocket

Over 1,400 locations across England have been red-flagged as ‘no-go’ zones for ambulances without police escort, as the rate of violent attacks on paramedics has risen to a staggering eight per day, according to UK media.

More than 2,800 emergency medical personnel were attacked while on duty in 2017, up 36 percent in the last five years, latest data reveals.

“Paramedics are being stabbed, throttled, and sexually assaulted as shameful new figures show assaults on crew members have risen by a third,” the Mirror reports.

“About eight serious attacks a day take place on NHS ambulance crews and more than 1,400 homes in England are now red-flagged as ‘no-go’ areas without police protection.”

A list of injuries suffered by paramedics in London includes dislocations, fractures, asphyxiation, severe burns, concussions, and even spinal cord damage.

Union leaders are blaming politicians for cutbacks in funding, leading to a severe shortage of personnel, as well as police support.

“These terrifying figures underline that ambulance workers, along with all those who work in the emergency services, are forced to work under an increased threat of violence,” said GMB union national secretary Rehana Azam.

“Cuts in funding mean our ambulance workers are more likely to be working alone. Cuts to police services mean back-up isn’t always there.”

Incredibly, the vast majority of perpetrators reportedly do not face legal consequences for assaults upon EMTs.

The crisis facing British emergency services highlights the effects mass immigration can have upon safety, security, and infrastructure as crime continues to rise while the government’s capacity to properly enforce the law and tend to the needs of its citizens diminishes.

TRUMP WAS RIGHT: CHILDREN SMUGGLED, TRAFFICKED FROM MIGRANT CARAVAN

Trump Was Right: Children Smuggled, Trafficked From Migrant Caravan

Infowars.com – NOVEMBER 27, 2018

Multiple mainstream outlets have reported that caravan members – including children – are being exploited by sex traffickers, which confirms President Trump was right when he warned this would happen.

In a tweet from Nov. 21, the president said there were “a lot of criminals in the caravan:”

Correspondingly, local cartels are responsible for kidnapping at least 100 members of the caravan, including children, according to British media outlet The Independent.

“Around 100 members of a refugee and migrant caravan traveling towards the U.S. have reportedly fallen victim to organized crime as they moved through Mexico,” reads the report. “The Los Zetas cartel was likely to be behind the disappearances.”

Additionally, kidnappers have offered rides on fruit trucks to the traveling migrants, according to HuffPost Mexico.

“There we began to see that fruit trucks were coming to us, of those that carry 16 to 23 tons of food, they offered us transport, charging up to 150 pesos per person, we started to document plates to images of the drivers, alert the migrants that they did not do it, but in despair people took it in.”

“All I could do was try to open the boxes of the trucks, which were locked with padlocks.”

This also sheds light on how, over the past several years, international media has reported on the sexual abuse by U.N. peacekeepers:

However, the U.N. reportedly “cannot” punish peacekeepers from other countries, meaning that only a fraction of the alleged perpetrators have served jail time.

Alleged Syrian gas attacks are typically met with heartbreaking media reports and US-led missile strikes but a suspected chlorine attack in Aleppo has gone largely ignored in the West. How could this be?

Shelling, which targeted residential areas of Aleppo on Saturday night, appears to have included a chemical attack. At least 46 people, including 8 children, were hospitalized with symptoms of chlorine gas poisoning, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

The attack on the city, which was liberated by the Syrian government two years ago, is believed to have been launched from an area within Idlib, the last Syrian stronghold of jihadists affiliated with Al-Qaeda.

So where are the emergency UN Security Council sessions? The defiant New York Times op-eds? The retaliatory Tomahawk strikes against the last jihadist enclave in Syria?

“They don’t care, because the attack is coming from the wrong side, as it were. If you check the mainstream media coverage globally, it’s a non-event,” global affairs analyst and founder of the 21st Century Wire Patrick Henningsen told RT. Henningsen also noted that the incident demonstrated that “the so-called rebels have the means, the motive and the opportunities to carry out chemical attacks against Syrians.”

But for the children poisoned in the attack, the incident was far from a “non-event.”

“It feels like something is burning inside and my eyes are hurting,” a boy, identified only as Hamza, told a film crew which documented the aftermath of the attack.

“I was at home, then a severe headache kicked in. I started to cough, but couldn’t bear it. Medicines didn’t help, so I was taken to hospital,” a woman said while speaking through an oxygen mask.

Despite crickets from the West, action has been taken to hold the belligerents accountable. Moscow announced on Sunday that the Russian Air Force had struck targets in Idlib’s demilitarized zone, from where Syrian militants are believed to have launched the chemical attack.

Chief Border Patrol Agent: Migrant Organizers Were Forcing Women and Children to the Front, Then Started Rocking Border Agents (VIDEO)

by Jim Hoft November 26, 2018

Rodney Scott, the Chief Patrol Agent San Diego Sector, Border Patrol, joined CNN’s New Day on Monday to discuss the illegal migrant violent uprising yesterday at the Tijuana crossing.

Hundreds of illegal caravan migrants stormed the border and hurled rocks and debris at border patrol agents.

Chief Patrol Agent Scott told New Day his sector had to bring in several hundred border patrol agents from around the country to help with the current crisis.

Patrol Agent Scott: What I find unconscionable was that people would purposely take children into this situation. What we saw over and over yesterday was that people would purposely push women and children to the front and then begin basically rocking our agents.

Hoaxed: The ‘Illegal Alien Mom with Barefoot Kids’ Photo was a Setup – Another Staged #FakeNews Production

by Jim Hoft November 26, 2018

Yesterday’s Headline is today’s hoax. The illegal alien mother ‘fleeing’ from the border wall was all a lie. It was a setup.

After further review, yesterday’s ‘horrific’ picture of a woman with barefoot children running from the US border wall was a hoax. In the background of the picture a group of men are posing for one camera man and another is running towards another camera man. In other areas, people are just standing around. The woman with the children was just a photo-op:
