Federal prosecutors have ended an investigation into Democratic lobbyist Tony Podesta and former Republican Congressman Vin Weber in a case connected to lobbying for Ukraine and Paul Manafort without filing criminal charges, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell NBC News.

The investigation by the Southern District of New York, which focused on whether several prominent Washington lobbyists violated foreign lobbying rules, grew out of special counsel Robert Mueller‘s inquiry into the finances of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, who is now serving a 7.5 year sentence in federal prison.

Manafort had organized a public relations campaign for a non-profit called the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine, which promoted Ukraine’s image in the West from 2012 to 2014. Podesta’s Democratic-leaning lobbying firm, the Podesta Group, was one of many firms that worked on the campaign, including Weber’s firm, Mercury Public Affairs.

NBC News was the first to report in 2017 that Podesta and his firm had been ensnared in Mueller’s probe because of their work on the campaign.

Podesta is the chairman of the Podesta Group and the brother of John Podesta, Hillary Clinton‘s former presidential campaign chairman. John Podesta has not been affiliated with the Podesta Group since the 1990s and was not a subject of the investigation.

Both firms were being investigated for possibly failing to file Foreign Agents Registration Act reports for their work with the ECMU and on behalf of Ukraine, NBC News has previously reported.

According to an October 2017 indictment, the two lobbying firms were paid $2 million from offshore accounts controlled by Manafort for their work on the campaign.

In a statement to NBC News, Vin Weber’s attorney said they had been notified the investigation was over.

“As we have previously stated, at all times Mr. Weber acted in good faith and in keeping with the legal advice his company received from its outside counsel,” Weber’s attorney Robert Trout said.

“We are obviously pleased by this development,” Trout added.

Podesta did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokesperson for the Southern District of New York declined to comment.

The dropping of the investigation comes on the heels of the not guilty verdict in the trial of former Obama White House Counsel Greg Craig, another case that Mueller’s office had passed to federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York.

In that case, the New York attorneys decided not to prosecute, sources said, and the case was ultimately brought by federal prosecutors in Washington, D.C., only to result in an acquittal for Craig.

Several people briefed on the Podesta and Weber probe told NBC News they thought that the investigation into the two lobbyists had a better chance of succeeding than the probe into Craig, but in the end the legal hurdles would’ve been too high.

Jeffrey Epstein’s Depraved Artwork is Eerily Reminiscent of the Podesta Bros’ Collection

Could these individuals with deep connections into Democratic politics have something in common?

By Shane Trejo

Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion, which used to be a K-12 school for children, contained a great deal of peculiar artwork that give a glimpse into the mindset of this convicted sexual criminal.

The Democratic-affiliated predator had a mural of a prison yard with himself at the center of it in his home, perhaps realizing that he would someday be held accountable for his life of reprehensible behavior.

Other bizarre works of art contained in the Epstein mansion included dozens of prosthetic eyeballs decorating his hallway, a life-sized doll hanging from a chandelier as if it was being tortured, and a large display with nude figurines on a human chess board.

Epstein’s mansion cost a whopping $56 million, but it was essentially gifted to him by billionaire retail magnate Leslie Wexner, a long-time associate of Epstein’s.

Authorities reportedly found child pornography in his house after they raided it. God only knows how many atrocities were committed inside Epstein’s seven-story townhouse on 9 E. 71st St.

Similarly depraved, sexual imagery has been showcased in the home and office of brothers John and Tony Podesta, long-time Clinton associates who were found at the center of conspiracy theories after leaked Democratic Party emailswere published by WikiLeaks in 2016.

John Podesta had an image depicting cannibalism hung in his office while he worked the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign in 2016. He used to quip to shocked observers who asked about the morbid painting depicting two men feasting on another that “it’s better to be the guy with the fork than the guy on the table.”

Tony Podesta’s home is filled with even more bizarre artwork. Certain images include depictions of women without heads, a nude woman soaked in blood, a blasphemous nude painting of Jesus Christ, and a young boy who looks as if he was rendered by a sewing machine.

The most creepy piece of artwork is a statue in the likeness of tortured victim of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer which hangs from the ceiling of Tony Podesta’s home. Similar to Epstein’s life-sized doll hanging from a chandelier, it shows a reverence for human suffering that is seemingly commonplace among the liberal elite.

Independent journalist Ben Swann investigated the revelations found in the leaked e-mails related to John and Tony Podesta when the conspiracy theories were at their peak.

With Epstein’s apprehension, the notion of elite pedophile rings are once again on the minds of many Americans. Until the thousands of civil court documents are released and the explosive proof is disclosed by federal investigators, speculation will continue to run rampant about what these Democrats are really doing behind closed doors.

Former Obama White House Counsel to be Indicted for Ukrainian Collusion

The Democratic lawyer failed to register as a foreign agent of Ukraine.

By Richard Moorhead

Attorneys for former Obama White House Counsel Greg Craig revealed Wednesday that the longtime Democratic lawyer expects to be indicted by federal prosecutors on charges related to his work with the Ukrainian government in 2012.

Findings discovered in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into supposed Russian meddling in American politics may have contributed towards the upcoming charges against Craig. Craig performed work for Ukraine’s Ministry of Justice, and was apparently connected with the Ukrainians through Paul Manafort, the Republican operative indicted by Mueller for overseas political activity.

Craig was originally investigated by the Justice Department for failing to register as a foreign agent while working for the Ukrainian government. However, it seems statues of limitation have since expired for that crime, and his attorneys expect him to be indicted for making false statements to DOJ investigators instead.

Craig was President Obama’s White House Counsel from 2009 to 2010. He also has been a political advisor to liberal bigwigs Ted Kennedy and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

An associate of Hillary and Bill Clinton for decades, the high-society lawyer even rented an apartment to the Clintons as a Yale Law Student in the 1970’s. He would go on to lead the legal team representing President Bill Clinton in impeachment proceedings in the 1990’s.

Craig possibly represents the most high-profile elite Democrat to be indicted for foreign political activities in the past few years. Democratic kingpin Tony Podesta was investigated by Robert Mueller’s team for similarly suspect political activities in Ukraine, which may have involved lavish compensation that went unreported to the American government from pro-Russia political parties. After being investigated, Podesta ultimately wasn’t charged by the government, although the political consulting firm known as the Podesta Group he led with his brother John shut down.

It is now clear that there is one set of rules for Republicans and the working man — And there is another set of rules for crooked Democrats

Former Trump Campaign Manager was sentenced today for 3.5 more years in prison by crooked Judge Amy Berman Jackson.

New York prosecutors indicted Paul Manafort Wednesday just moments after his federal sentencing for falsified business.

In October 2017 The Gateway Pundit reported that the Podesta Group with exact timing somehow managed to file forms with the federal government that were 5 or more years overdue that Paul Manafort was charged for not filing.

Who tipped them off?

Mike Cernovich reported in February that John Podesta now seems as frightened as a little school girl when confronted with questions about the Podesta Group’s activities before the 2016 election –

Cernovich also notes that the Podestas filed forms in 2017, more than 5 years after they were due!

The Podesta Group was the most influential lobbyist firm in Washington before the election, now they closed their doors – why?

Creepy John Podesta was rattled on “Face the Nation” last year when confronted about the Podesta Group –

Who told the Podestas to file forms 5 years after they were due?

These forms were filed only weeks before Manafort was arrested by the corrupt Mueller team for the exact same derilection of duty.  The Podestas worked with Manafort – why were they not criminalized as well by the Mueller conspirators?  This is just more evidence Mueller and team are crooked and corrupt!
