Vox Host Tries Starting Adpocalypse Because Youtube Hasn’t Banned Steven Crowder. Carlos Maza of VOX is upset that Steven Crowder has used mean words and mocked him in his Vox rebuttal videos. In response to his complaints Youtube said they would be investigating Steven Crowder. After several days the far left media Host continued the pressure by giving interviews and targeting youtube as a platform. In his latest interview he goes straight for the advertisers. He goes on to say that youtube has no control over its platform and advertisers will have their content appear on questionable videos. A tactic, it would seem, designed to trigger an Adpocalypse that will hurt every youtube creator not just Steven Crowder. But why now? Interestingly VOX has not been doing well, they recently reported that their evaluation as a company is likely down and switched to focusing on part time works and contractors. Considering digital media as a whole isn’t doing too well this could be a sign that Vox is in trouble. It sure is convenient then that Vox host Carlos Maza decided to launch his campaign against Crowder and then shift to targeting advertisers, a move that will be very helpful to digital media outlets.

TV Networks Consider Not Airing Trump’s Border Security Address

Several major television networks are apparently unsure whether or not to air President Trump’s live address to the nation on border security Tuesday due to concern over what he will say.

According to The Hill, CNN and Fox News Channel are planning to air Trump’s address on border security, while the basic cable networks CBS, NBC, and ABC have not committed one way or the other.

MSNBC has not made a public comment one way or the other, and the network has repeatedly opted not to air Trump events before.

Trump plans to address the nation for the first time from the Oval Office Tuesday night on “the humanitarian and national security crisis on our Southern Border.”

The government shutdown over Democrats’ refusal to pass spending for border security is now in its third week.

Many media figures weighed in on social media Monday over the decision.

CNN’s Brian Stelter tweeted that a “TV exec” told him he was torn on what to do about the address.

“TV exec texts: ‘He calls us fake news all the time, but needs access to airwaves… If we give him the time, he’ll deliver a fact-free screed without rebuttal. And if we don’t give him the time, he’ll call every network partisan. So we are damned if we do and damned if we don’t,’” Stelter posted.

Last week, Stelter used his newsletter to promote the idea of not airing presidential events live because of Trump’s “lies.”

Glenn Kessler of the Washington Post, among others, pointed out that when former president Obama gave an address on immigration in 2014, networks did not run it because it was thought of as too political.

Others called for outright censorship, with Vox Media’s Matt Yglesias saying, “Don’t give Trump free airtime to lie about the shutdown with no interruptions, context, or fact-checking.”

CBS confirmed Monday evening that it plans to air Trump’s address, but will reportedly only run the address for eight minutes.

Maddow’s latest crystal ball reading: Putin ‘ordered’ Trump to withdraw from Afghanistan

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow – a pioneer of Putin-ate-my-homework journalism – has predictably mused that Donald Trump is considering pulling troops out of Afghanistan on the orders of Russia’s president. The evidence speaks for itself.

In a segment on her critically-acclaimed show, “Watch Me Scream ‘Russia’ Until I Dislocate My Jaw”, Maddow made an adroit observation of seismic proportions: Reports that Donald Trump is mulling a partial withdrawal from Afghanistan emerged only hours after Vladimir Putin said that the US keeps promising to leave the country but never does! In layman’s terms: Putin ordered Trump to pull troops out of Afghanistan, during a live broadcast? It seems Maddow believes that she decrypted their top-secret communications channel.

Apparently she cannot fathom that there may be any non-Putin related motives for leaving Afghanistan after 17 years. But in August, the MSNBC host accused Trump of “flip-flopping” after announcing that more US troops would be deployed to Afghanistan.

So Rachel Maddow opposes sending more troops to Afghanistan – but anyone who wants to withdraw US forces from the country is a Putin stooge. A daunting pickle, indeed.

As Vox pointed out at the time, Trump “spent years railing against the war in Afghanistan and calling for a US withdrawal from the country.” Before moving into the White House, he made it clear to lawmakers that his administration would not send US troops to fight abroad unless “absolutely necessary.”

Maddow’s other celebrated Russiagate hits include having a stroke – live on television – after discovering that Russia shares a border with North Korea. She also famously revealed that Rex Tillerson was hand-picked by Putin to serve as Secretary of State – you know, the guy who allegedly called Trump a “f*cking moron”.

Imagine Maddow’s on-air meltdown if Trump really does withdraw troops from Afghanistan.

It begins: Party that wants to “make Spain great again” storms the polls

As Voice of Europe reported, for the first time in decades a right-wing party won seats in a large Spanish region.

By gaining 12 parliamentary seats in Andalusia, Vox shocked and gave a strong blow to Spain’s left.

For a lot of Spaniards the result of Santiago Abascal’s Vox came as a surprise, but probably not for the leader himself. We are “in step with what millions of Spaniards think,” Abascalsaid earlier.

Polls since January this year show that Vox received five times more support in Spain. A recent poll even shows the party is at 10 per cent of the vote.

“We stand for the same law-and-order and social conservative causes as Trump,” Santiago Abascal, the leader of the movement says in an interview.

Like most conservative populist parties Vox focuses on reducing migration and Islamisation as it vows to “make Spain great again”.

According to The Local, a leftist media outlet, Vox is here to stay in Spain and we will hear more of them:

“The political shockwaves from Sunday night will be felt all around the country right through 2019 to the local, regional and European elections in May.

“Spain now has its own alt-right or national populist party, and moves into five-party politics territory.

“Not that the four-party politics that came out of the 2015 elections was getting the country anywhere fast or better, but room for one more, it seems,” columnist Matthew Bennett said.

Leader of Spanish populist party aims to become ‘new Trump’

As we’ve reported earlier, something is happening in Spain, a country with a mostly socialist tradition. The VOX political movement, a populist right-wing party, is gaining momentum and has seen rapid growth in Spain.

“We stand for the same law-and-order and social conservative causes as Trump,” Santiago Abascal, the leader of the movement says in an interview.

To adopt Trump’s success and of the populist parties that are sweeping through Europe, Abascal has even consulted Trump’s former campaign strategist Steve Bannon.

By adopting Trump’s policies and consulting his former strategist, Vox could be aiming to become a Trump style party, with a Trump style leader.

Italy’s Interior Minister and leader of the largest party in the polls, Matteo Salvini, has already showed how that can work out really well.

According to the leader of Vox, Bannon’s advice was used to help setting up connections with related parties. An organisation like the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists was used for that goal.

Spain, which has seen a change of government lately, is one of Europe’s new migrant hotspots. An import factor in that is the country’s socialist government implicitly invites migrants by offering welfare and even voting rights.

Like in most countries, the rise of the right comes with governments that ignore their citizen’s wishes. We will definitely hear more of Vox as it can even gain seats in the European Union’s parliamentary elections next year.
