We had to screen every passenger in airports and ships when the first cases was reported . Now is a bit too late.

Political analyst Ryan Girdusky quote tweeted Senior White House Reporter for NBC News Digital Shannon Pettypiece on an NBC exit poll measuring Democratic voters’ views on socialism.

States like California and Texas stood out among Democrats who had favorable views about socialism.
54 percent of California Democrats have favorable views of socialism, while 57 percent of Texas Democrats have favorable views of socialism.
Interestingly, both states have large immigration populations.
According to Pew Research, California has nearly 11 million foreign residents (27.2% of the population) and Texas has nearly 5 million foreign residents (16.9 percent of the population).
On the other hand, North Carolina and Tennessee Democrats were not as receptive towards socialism.
Only 48 percent of North Carolina voters and 47 percent of Tennessee voters view socialism favorably.
These two states only have immigration populations of 786,374 immigrants (7.7 percent of the population) and 331,868 immigrants (5 percent of the population), respectively.
Demographic shift is one of the most powerful issues in American politics.
For example, a recent Pew Research poll found that Hispanic voters have solidly leftist views on foundational political issues.
The majority of Hispanic voters (71%) believe the government should be more involved to solve problems,
Additionally, Hispanic voters are generally in favor of the U.S. government playing a stronger role in the healthcare sector. About seven-in-ten (71%) say it is the federal government’s responsibility to ensure health care coverage for all of Americans.
As far as gun ownership is concerned, seven-in-ten Hispanic voters (68%) believe gun control laws should be strengthened.
These results are consistent with post-1965 Immigration Act voting trends among migrants during the last 50 years.
The Republican Party will have to come to grip with these realities.
Migration has historically has come in waves.
There are either legislative or natural pauses in immigration and the U.S. is long overdue for a moratorium on mass migration. The good news is that the U.S. can look to its history for a previous example of immigration restriction in the Immigration Act of 1924.
We can only hope that the GOP dusts off its history books and take a page from this act.

Pulse Nightclub terrorists Omar Mateen murdered 49 gays on a dance floor before shooting himself.

The Boston Marathon bombers killed three and injured 264 people.
And then it took the FBI days to figure out the identity of the killers.

The FBI was looking at these individuals but dropped the investigations before these Islamists went on their deadly killing sprees.

This is really bad news for America’s premier law enforcement agency.

The full report is here.

President Trump on Thursday said his administration will begin withholding funding from self-described sanctuary cities after a federal court ruled last week that it could do so.
“As per recent Federal Court ruling, the Federal Government will be withholding funds from Sanctuary Cities,” Trump tweeted. “They should change their status and go non-Sanctuary. Do not protect criminals!”
The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ruled on Feb. 26 that the Department of Justice (DOJ) could withhold funding from cities and states that refuse to cooperate with the Trump administration’s crackdown on undocumented immigrants.
The three-judge panel found Congress had delegated authority to the attorney general to set conditions on the federal grant program it had created, called the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.
The decision came after multiple courts had ruled against the Trump administration on the issue, saying it lacked the authority to impose immigration-related conditions on certain funding.
A group of seven states and New York City sued the DOJ in 2017 after then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that the agency would start withholding funding from local governments that refused to share information about undocumented immigrants or provide jail access to federal authorities investigating inmates’ immigration status.
This spells bad news for several of the far left lunatics who are in charge of many of the big cities in the country.
In fact, Center For Immigration Studies has put together a map that shows all of these places that are now S.O.L.

Initial reports of a possible canine case of coronavirus began to emerge from Hong Kong last week, and at that point it was announced that the dog in question would be quarantined for a fortnight. Swab tests from the pet’s oral and nasal cavities were tested and turned up a “weak positive” for coronavirus. Thankfully, almost a week after first testing positive, the dog is reported as not yet having any symptoms.
Why the pooch was tested in the first place was not clear, although it was doubtful part of a routine medical check-up. It could be that some clinics are making sure to test all household pets of infected people so as to ensure the virus has as little mechanism to move about as possible. Alternatively, it could be that this dog is the first pet to be tested, and were others to be subjected to the same scrutiny it could transpire that more pets of infected people are also carriers of the disease.
Much of the early reportage on the outbreak focused on the seafood and wildlife market in Wuhan, which Chinese officials had declared was the likeliest source of the outbreak. That seemed to imply that the virus had an animal origin, as live poultry, fish and other critters were reportedly present at the market.
As such, the initial panicked response to the outbreak was to obsess over the potential source of the virus. Exactly what kind of animals were at this market, and were they alive and kicking, or dead to be sold as meat?
Animals as a source seemed, and still seems, a plausible view. Sars is one other virus, and closely related to 2019-nCoV, to have previously resided in beasts before making the leap to humans, and it was eventually traced back to a horseshoe bat colony in China.
And bats, of course, became the most inculpated source for the new disease. Who could forget those now-viral images and videos from Wuhan of people tucking into soup that looked like something from an HP Lovecraft novel? While it later emerged that the images were a few years old, it set people’s minds to feverishly imagining what lethal zoological combo could have spawned the plague that has now infected tens of thousands of people worldwide.
Quite early on, Chinese scientists published a genetic study claiming that snakes were the most likely animal ‘reservoir’ for Covid-19. Pangolins were also mentioned, although traditional Chinese medicine’s unique relationship with wildlife meant that, for some, practically everything was on the table.
It is important to remember that the dog in the case mentioned received the virus from its owner, and not the other way around. Commenting on the case, Hong Kong’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) pointed out that it does not currently have conclusive evidence that pets can be infected “or can be a source of infection to people.”

Therefore, animal health experts say that there is absolutely no reason to hide from your pet, or to keep it indoors. You’re probably much more likely to contract the virus from another person – no matter where in the world you are.
While the dog remains under investigation, and it is not definite whether or not it has the coronavirus, it – like its owner – has been quarantined. Hopefully the dog, and its owner, make a full recovery, and the virus does not spread to more animals. But the prospect of the virus crossing the species barrier does not bode well for anyone.

“Whether the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit’s decision upholding Louisiana’s law requiring physicians who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a local hospital conflicts with the Supreme Court’s binding precedent in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt.”
Schumer gives the thumbs down as he mentions Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.
Schumer turned and pointed at the Supreme Court building behind him and menacingly screamed as he shook his fist:
“I want to tell you Gorsuch! And I want to tell you Kavanaugh! You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you! If you go forward with these awful decisions…”
