Hypocrisy: New York Times Alleges Conspiracy After Backing Boycotts of Conservative Media

New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger alleged that his newspaper was the target of a vast right-wing conspiracy on Sunday — after the paper boosted an effort to shut down conservative media by encouraging boycotts since early 2017.

Last week, Breitbart News exposed a history of racist and antisemitic tweets by a Times politics editor, Tom Wright-Piersanti. The Times admitted Sunday, in a news article, that the tweets were racist and antisemitic — though it did not indicate what action, if any, it was taking against the editor. In a statement to newsroom staff, Sulzberger — who did not acknowledge that the tweets were racist and antisemitic — alleged that the Times had been the victim of “a coordinated campaign by President Trump’s allies to attack hundreds of journalists in retaliation for coverage of the administration.”

The Times‘ objection is rich, given that it boosted an effort by left-wing activists to shut down conservative media solely for their journalists’ coverage of the left and their editorial support for President Donald Trump.

In January 2017, the Times published an op-ed by an author named Pagan Kennedy, titled “How to Destroy the Business Model of Breitbart and Fake News.” The article was a puff piece boosting the efforts of Sleeping Giants (whose ringleader was later unmasked by the Daily Caller as advertising executive Matt Rivitz). The piece even reprinted instructions for helping the boycott. It concluded, admiringly: “[A] new consumer movement is rising, and activists believe that where votes failed, wallets may prevail. This struggle is about much more than ads on Breitbart News — it’s about using corporations as shields to protect vulnerable people from bullying and hate crimes.”

The Times is attempting to play the victim rather than applying the same standard toward hate speech in its own room that it applies to others. Sulzberger, who took over the paper in 2018, claims the Times has “high standards,” but in effect he is arguing that that Timesjournalists ought to be held to a lower standard — that it is unfair to report “on news organizations in the same way that news organizations report on elected officials and other public figures.”

Perhaps the most laughable claim in Sulzberger’s statement is that the Times‘ critics are “[u]nable to challenge the accuracy of our reporting.” This is a newspaper that chased the Russia collusion hoax for the better part of three years, and whose executive editor, Dean Banquet, recently described plans to build the next year of news around the idea that “racism and white supremacy” are “the foundation of all of the systems in the country.”

That is not journalism; that is propaganda. And for years the Times has been propagandizing against conservative media outlets, hoping to destroy them, even printing instructions to guide readers in the effort. Far from being a victim, the Times is one of the great bullies of the mainstream media. Scrutiny is long overdue.

Jeffrey Epstein Victims’ Lawyer’s Bombshell: Whistle-Blower From Prison Told Me He Was Killed!

Epstein Denied Bail

A lawyer for some of the victims has talked to a whistle-blower inside the prison where Epstein was being held.

By Shane Trejo

Spencer Kuvin, who works as a lawyer for victims of deceased sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein, believes that Epstein’s death was likely the resulf of a murder after speaking at length with a whistle-blower from inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center.

Kuvin is basing his assessment off of tips he has received from an anonymous prison worker who told him it was “highly unlikely” that the Democrat-affiliated child sex trafficker took his own life.

Kuvin claims the prison worker told him that “every square inch” of the cells where Epstein was held before he died were being recorded by CCTV, making the fact that there is no video record of Epstein’s death a huge red flag.

Big League Politics reported about the possible camera malfunction weeks ago, in a story that was flagged by Facebook’s thought police as “fake news” in an attempt to suppress the report.

“I received a call from a supervisor at the MCC, which is the jail that Mr. Epstein was held,” Kuvin said. “The first words out of his mouth to be honest were, ‘Don’t believe what you are hearing’ in regards to Epstein’s death.”

“I had a lengthy conversation with him about the issue of security within MCC and he gave me a fairly detailed description of the interior of the jail, which led me to believe that he was credible,” he added.

The anonymous prison guard’s intimate knowledge of the jail convinced Kuvin of his legitimacy, and he listened to the man further as he described how Epstein’s suicide would be practically impossible.

“He told me how the SHU (special housing unit) where Mr. Epstein was kept was basically designed to be a jail within the jail. And then there was a separate, even more secure unit, inside the SHU where the highest value targets were kept,” Kuvin said.

“He said every square inch of that place is covered by cameras. It was designed that way because of super high value targets that are kept there such as terrorists, drug dealers and other extremely high value targets or suspects like Mr. Epstein,” he added.

“If reports that there is no CCTV are true – it would mean that they’d either shut the cameras off or they were not functioning in some way. He says there’s no way that they would not have been able to see what was going on,” Kuvin stated.

The fact that Epstein was removed from suicide watch and his cell mate was transferred so Epstein would be alone shortly before he died are two other red flags that show that it was not likely that Epstein committed suicide.

“What my source found very suspicious was that his cell mate was pulled the day before,” Kuvin said.

“The purpose of a cell mate for someone who either who was on suicide watch or is on suicide watch is to notify guards if something is happening. So the fact that they pulled the cell mate is not only one level above negligent, it also appears intentional,” he added.

Kuvin also believes that Epstein was not an individual who was capable of committing suicide from his several experiences with the narcissist.

“I met the man on three separate occasions and he never seemed to me to be a remorseful individual,” Kuvin said.

“He always seemed highly intelligent, arrogant, self-assured, confident. Never thought he did anything wrong, even in light of all the evidence against him, he basically just blamed the victims and had an incredible ego about himself and someone with that type of ego just never struck me as someone that could possibly commit suicide,” he added.

Kuvin also points to the broken hyoid bone in Epstein’s neck as further circumstantial evidence that the official story that he committed suicide is bogus.

“With the fracture of the bone in his neck it suggests a high amount of force pushing down on him,” he said.

“I think the most likely scenario if it is not suicide – as I’ve said before – is that there were too many people that were afraid that he would talk about what he may have done with them and others. They just paid off someone to go into the jail and take care of him,” Kuvin concluded.

Unfortunately, many secrets may have died with Epstein in that cell despite the many civil cases that continue to proceed against Epstein’s massive estate.

NYT editor’s tweets mocking Jews, Indians amid newspaper’s ‘anti-racist’ drive

A politics editor at the New York Times faces charges of anti-Semitism and bigotry after a series of old insensitive tweets surfaced online. This comes after a similar scandal with its Washington editor and leaked editorial tapes.

Breitbart News uncovered the tweets in an investigation published on Thursday, detailing a litany of offensive and racially-charged remarks from senior staff editor Tom Wright-Piersanti, who has worked at the Gray Lady for a little over five years, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Before that, on New Year’s day in 2010, Wright-Piersanti said: “I was going to say ‘Crappy Jew Year,’ but one of my resolutions is to be less anti-Semitic. So… HAPPY Jew Year. You Jews.”

The tweet has since been deleted.

In another missive dated December 2009, the future Times editor posted a photo of a vehicle with what appears to be a menorah – associated with the religious holiday of Hanukkah – on its roof, and asked Who called the Jew police?”

Though the “Jew police” tweet was still publicly viewable when Breitbart’s story first ran, it has also since mysteriously vanished from Wright-Piersanti’s Twitter page.

The apparently anti-Semitic comments prompted the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), one of the oldest Jewish political advocacy groups in the US, to demand for the editor’s swift termination, and a review of past stories he edited.

“The Zionist Organization of America urges the New York Times to immediately dismiss this individual and to undertake a review of all of the stories that he has edited for possible antisemitic bias,” a spokesperson for ZOA told Breitbart News.

In addition to members of the Jewish faith, Wright-Piersanti’s tweets often fixated on “Indians” as well, though it’s not always clear if he is referring to Native AmericRAans or people from India.

“There are four indian guys with mohawks in this one class, and each one is a douche in his own awful way,” he tweeted in December 2009.

I hate mohawk Indians.

A number of other posts singled out Indians for ridicule or insult as well, all of which remain public on Wright-Piersanti’s page at the time of publication.

In another deleted tweet, the Times editor mused “With asian babies, is it racist to say to the parents, ‘Aw, he looks just like you!’? What if you say it before you see any pictures?”

While the Times has not yet addressed the allegations publicly, Wright-Piersanti tweeted an apology on Thursday morning, after scrubbing a number of the offending tweets from his page, which he briefly set to private.

Following the publication of Brietbart’s investigation, Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, weighed in on the story, tweeting “Disgusting. But we shouldn’t expect any better from the New York Times. This is who they are.”

Earlier this month, the Times demoted its deputy Washington editor for “serious lapses in judgement” in the form of tweets criticized as ‘racist.’

NYT shifts from Russiagate to racism, insisting Orange Man Still Bad

Last week, a transcript of an internal town hall meeting surfaced, showing that the newspaper deliberately decided to shift its coverage of President Donald Trump from his supposed connections to Russia to “race and other divisions.”

Deep State FBI Director Wray Fights to Delay Release of Strzok-Page Text Messages Until AFTER 2020 Election

By Cristina Laila – August 21, 2019

FBI Director Christopher Wray’s FBI is fighting like hell to keep the thousands of outstanding text messages between FBI lovers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page under wraps until after the 2020 election.

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch has been in court this summer fighting to get their hands on 13,000 pages of Strzok-Page documents.

The FBI wants over 2 years to “process” the Strzok-Page docs.

The Court in late July ordered parties to negotiate a solution to getting key docs more quickly, Judicial Watch said. The FBI is protecting itself on illegal abuses.

“Wray FBI wants to stall until well after next presidential election before completing release of emails/texts between corrupt FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page,” Tom Fitton said.

“26 months for 13,000 pages!? President Donald Trump should order the FBI to comply with law and stop the stonewalling,” he added.

Recall, former FBI counterintelligence chief Peter Strzok and his paramour FBI lawyer Lisa Page were removed from the special counsel investigation after DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz discovered they were having an affair and exchanging anti-Trump text messages.

Peter Strzok migrated from the Hillary Clinton email probe to the ‘get Trump’ Russian collusion investigation. Strzok protected Hillary Clinton from Espionage Act charges, then in July of 2016 opened up a bogus CI investigation (Crossfire Hurricane) into ‘Trump Russia’ with no valid reason other than to ‘stop Trump.’

The two FBI lovebirds text each other about an “insurance policy” to stop Donald Trump just in case he were to win the 2016 election.

The FBI was forced to hand over text messages between Strzok and Page, however, they claimed that they were unable to retrieve several months worth of texts because they were ‘missing.’

Mueller also scrubbed other text messages between Strzok and Page. Their phones were set to ‘factory settings’ when the two FBI officials turned in their phones to the FBI resulting in ‘lost’ data.

Judicial Watch has been fighting in court to obtain the outstanding Strzok-Page texts and FBI Director Wray is working to keep the documents hidden from public scrutiny.

(JUST IN TIME FOR THE 2020 ELECTIONS) – Facebook hiring editors to pick stories for ‘News Tab’, that didn’t work out well last time

Screen Shot 2019-08-21 at 11.05.39 AM

Facebook will hire a “small team” of journalists to select featured content for its much-hyped ‘News Tab’ section, which the platform will begin testing across its US user base later this year.

What could go awry with human editors in charge? Facebook should know, since the company was forced to fire its last team of human content-pickers over revelations of bias against conservative viewpoints.

The platform said Tuesday that the new team — which will likely be fewer than 10 employees at the beginning — will choose the content for the ‘Top News’ section of the News Tab. Stories found in the other sections will be chosen by algorithms and determined by specific user interests, the New York Times reported.

‘Trending’ no more: Facebook removing controversial news feature

Facebook said it made the decision to go after human curators after discussions with publishers convinced them that algorithms would not be capable of “news judgement” the way real journalists would and that it would take too long to train an algorithm to that level.

But there are pitfalls to consider with human editors, too. Facebook ditched its ‘Trending Topics’ section last year after being plagued by accusations that it was politically biased and amplified “fake news.”

Screen Shot 2019-08-21 at 11.12.40 AM

An explosive Gizmodo story put the spotlight on Trending Topics in 2016, revealing that human editors, independently contracted by Facebook, were asked to suppress conservative news and even stories about Facebook itself.

The contractors were also told to artificially “inject” preferred stories into the trending module, even if they were not trending organically. Rather than relying on algorithms (as it claimed), Facebook was acting like a traditional news organization and reflecting the personal biases of its employees.

The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month that Facebook is planning to pay publishers “millions of dollars” to include their content in its News Tab.

A source told Digiday that the new batch of curators will be given the option to include that content in the Top News section, but they will not be obliged to. The new hires will be full-time employees, unlike the contractors used for the doomed Trending Topics section.

As Facebook rolls out the News Tab, users will no doubt be waiting to see if it has learned its lesson after the last debacle.

OBAMAS TO RELEASE ANTI-TRUMP MOVIE ON NETFLIX

Obamas To Release Anti-Trump Movie On Netflix

Film aims to undercut Trump’s job number claims

Steve Watson  – AUGUST 21, 2019

Ahead of the 2020 election, the Obamas are set to release a documentary via Netflix that has been described by Politico as anti-Trump.

The movie, scheduled to be released this week, titled American Factory, focuses on the economy in the heartland of the US.

The review states:

The documentary, which debuts on Netflix on August 21, never mentions President Donald Trump by name—but its message is clear: Trump’s promise to reinvigorate the industrial heartland is going to take a lot more than a campaign slogan. There are no easy solutions. And if some manufacturing jobs do come back, they’re going to look nothing like they used to. Americans will have to accept a new reality to stay competitive in the global marketplace—one that they might not like, and one that Trump doesn’t acknowledge.

it’s a message that echoes Obama’s declaration in 2016 that some jobs in the manufacturing sector are “just not going to come back.”

The movie argues that Trump’s efforts to reinvigorate manufacturing have not been successful, despite there being more employed in factory jobs now than before Trump was elected.

The message is clear. The Obamas are trying to hit Trump where it matters ahead of the election, in an effort to prevent history repeating.

Last year, when the Obamas inked the deal with the streaming service, the former president declared that the projects would focus on “training the next generation of leaders.”

“I continue to believe that if we are hearing each other’s stories and recognizing ourselves in each other, then our democracy works,” Obama said at the time.
