Some 200-300 undocumented migrants stormed the Pantheon â a popular tourist site and mausoleum â where the most renowned French national heroes, such as Voltaire or Victor Hugo, are buried.

The majority of the protesters, who call themselves âBlack Vestsâ â in an analogy with the Yellow Vests movement â are believed to be migrants of West African origin.
âWe are paperless, voiceless, faceless for the French Republic. We come to the graves of your great men to denounce your disrespect,â one of the protest organizers said in a statement ahead of the event.
“We will remain here until the last one of us has been given documents,” a leaflet given out by an organiser read.
The protest triggered a massive police response, several people have been reportedly detained. Initially, the event was maily peaceful with the protesters displaying banners and shouting slogans without getting rowdy and avoiding scuffles with law enforcement.

After spending several hours inside, the protesters vacated the monument, yet refused to disperse and tried to held a sit-in protest in front of it.
The situation around the Pantheon eventually turned violent with police repeatedly charging the crowd in an attempt to disperse it. Police used batons and pepper spray to subdue the protesters; several people have been reportedly injured in the scuffles.
Right wing leader Marine Le Pen called the occupation unacceptable. She tweeted: “In France, the only future for any illegal immigrant should be getting kicked out, because that’s the law.”Â
There were those among the French politicians who, on the contrary, voiced support. âItâs very important for me that everything goes â at the moment âwithout violence, peacefully. I hope that their demands will be heard, these people have been protesting for a long time, yet so far they see nothing from the government but a closed door,â Eric Coquerel, a member of the National Assembly, stated.
A similar protest was staged by the group back in May, when the Black Vests occupied Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The protesters demanded legal papers for all, as well as accused the Air France carrier of collaborating with the government in the quest to deport illegal migrants.

The American Federation of Teachers has been busy live tweeting their protest against so-called family separation at the U.S.-Mexico border, a policy started by President Barack Obama, aimed at separated illegal immigrant children from the individuals, sometimes human traffickers, purporting to be their parents when they are brought into the United States.
Dozens of members and employees of the union gathered, wearing t shirts with the unionâs logo, to shout catchy slogans like âNo hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here!â and âLet our babies go!â

The American Federation of Teachers also used its verified Twitter account to accuse President Donald Trump of racism, writing âMr. President, racism is not patriotism.â

At one point, Jay Inslee, the Democrat governor of Washington who is running for president on the platform of âdefeating climate changeâ who is polling at close to zero per cent after he failed to distinguish himself in the first Democrat debate, joined the stage to bash the Trump administration.
âI have come here to speak with pride for a prideful nation,â said Inslee. âHere is what we are proud of, we are proud that educators in America speak out against oppression of children in America.â âWe are proud that the state of Washington understands that diversity is a strength and not a weakness.â
Inslee also doubled down on a conspiracy theory popularized by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), claiming that migrant children are not given soap to wash themselves with.
âThere is nothing to be proud of,â said Inslee, âfor putting a 5-year-old kid in a cage and not giving them soap to clean themselves with.â At this point, for some unknown reason, a member of the crowd began laughing maniacally. Really.

For some reason, the American Federation of Teachers also occasionally posted a tweet in Spanish.
The American Federation of Teachers is a member of the countryâs largest union federation, the American Federation of Labor, which recently posted a meme advocating beheading the CEO of Delta Airlines.
Big League Politics reported:

Unions seem to be increasing their march toward the complete destruction of all facets of American society, and even school children and classrooms are not safe.

âThey will not team up with ICE to detain any resident. We have also cut off ICE access from any CPD databases and that will remain permanent,â Lightfoot said. âChicago is and will always be a welcoming city that will never tolerate ICE tearing our families apart.â

In a statement to the Chicago Tribune, police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the cityâs Citizen and Law Enforcement Analysis and Reporting (CLEAR) database will not be available to ICE officials, though several federal government agencies will still have access.
âAll other federal agencies still have access to these systems, as sharing this information is crucial to active criminal investigations in which we are partnering with federal agencies along with intelligence sharing functions that are vital to national homeland security functions,â Guglielmi stated.
Appearing Sunday on CBS News, Ken Cuccinelli, Acting U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director said ICE is prepared to remove approximately one million illegal aliens with final orders for deportation. â[ICE agents are] ready to just perform their mission which is to go and find and detain and then deport the approximately one million people who have final removal orders,â he said. âTheyâve been all the way through the due process and have final removal orders. Who among those will be targeted for this particular effort or not is really just information kept within ICE.â
Sundayâs expected raid will target at least 2,000 illegal residents.
Last month, President Donald Trump called off planned raids to deport roughly 2,000 illegal aliens with final deportation orders after details of the operation were leaked to the Washington Post.
Thomas Homan, the former Director of ICE, suggested Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan was responsible for the leak, which prompted the operationâs delay.
A Harvard/Harris survey shows a majority of Americans back plans to deport illegal aliens if Congress fails to act. More than 8-in-10 Republican voters support the move, while and more than 5-in-10 swing voters agree with it.

Algerians poured out onto the streets following their teamâs victory over Ivory Coast last night.
Police were deployed to the center of Paris to keep order as vandals threw fireworks. One video even shows a man wielding a chainsaw.
Another clip shows aggressive fans, some wearing the colors of Algeria, smashing shop windows and breaking in.
The fans shouted âAllahu Akbar!,â âNique la Franceâ (Fuck France) and âon va baiser des keufsâ (We are going to fuck the cops) as they attacked store fronts.
âTensions started boiling by around 11pm with at least one Molotov cocktail thrown at police lines. Riot forces responded with tear gas and rubber bullets to stop the crowd from vandalizing cars and looting shops,â reports RT.
Similar disturbances were also reported in Marseille, Lyon, Valence and other French cities.
Another clip shows French police deploying tear gas as fans flee down a street.
As we previously reported, during last yearâs World Cup, a woman and her partner were viciously beaten in Paris by a group of Algerian men the sin of shouting âVive la France!â
French cities were also besieged by anarchists and migrants after the World Cup final, with shops being looted, vehicles set alight and buildings torched.

Berkeleyâs Undocumented Student Program (USP) helps provide illegal immigrants on campus with educational and legal assistance. The Los Angeles Times details that the UC system vowed to not cooperate with immigration enforcement officials and turn over private records without first receiving court orders.
The USP provides various resources, which includes a webpage, titled  âWhat to do if ICE comes to your door,â a five-step plan that teaches illegal immigrants how to act when confronting an ICE agent.
The first four parts instruct the reader âDO NOT OPEN DOORS,â âREMAIN SILENT,â âDO NOT SIGN,â and âREPORT THE RAID!â and the last step says âFIGHT BACK!â
The âFIGHT BACK!â section has a fist image and says âget a trustworthy attorney & explore all options to fight your case. If detained, you may be able to get bail â donât give up hope!â
The USP does not stop with its five-step plan.
The USP also has a ârapid response hotlineâ that illegal students and faculty can use when dealing with ICE.
Simply by dialing the Alameda County Immigration Legal and Education Partnership-sponsored hotline, Berkley faculty and the student body can warn illegal immigrants in advance about ICE activity on campus.
Carol Christ, the UC Berkeley Chancellor, put the schoolâs USP in the spotlight through a statement on June 26. The statement solidified the universityâs mission to protect illegal immigrants.
Christ said, âEvery member of the UC Berkeley community is a valuable contributor to the university, regardless of immigration status.â
The UC Berkeley Chancellor added, âWe remain steadfast in welcoming, supporting, and building community with our undocumented students and staff.â
She then concluded by warning illegal immigrants on campus about the prospects of ICE going on university grounds to enforce immigration laws.
She warned, âAccording to media reports, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) may conduct enforcement activities in the coming weeks. These media reports suggest that ICE is preparing to detain individuals who have missed a court date or have deportation orders.â
This is another case of a subversive leftist institution trying to facilitate the Leftâs mass migration agenda.
After all, demographic trends do point to third world migrants being a voting bloc for leftist causes, so it makes sense for leftist institutions to put policies that encourage these kinds of migration patterns.
Europe is already showing what the consequences of mass migration look like, and America First patriots are taking note.
For that reason, BLP reports that immigration is the #1 issue going into the 2020 elections.

Gaetz played a clip on a loop of House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) laughing off the notion of a humanitarian crisis at the border while being asked about it in an interview from January before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday.
Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA) issued a point of order suggesting Gaetz repeating the âout of contextâ clip was inappropriate. She was informed by the parliamentarian that he was not out of order.
âI just think thatâs quite something when youâre fed back your own words from your own leadership from earlier this year, you think thatâs out of context and inappropriate and not allowed,â Gaetz said referring to the clip.
âAgain, we didnât raise the issue. It was the gentlelady from Texas that said these allegations from Republicans that we were in denial, theyâre offensive, weâve always known of the crisis, and the Democratic whip laughed,â Gaetz continued.
Clyburn was not the only Congressional Democratic leader who denied the reality of the crisis at the U.S. southern border. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) did so as well.
âMost presidents have used Oval Office addresses for noble purposes,â Schumer said in January. âThis president just used the backdrop of the Oval Office to manufacture a crisis, stoke fear, and divert attention from the turmoil in his administration.â
Sen. Elizabeth âPocahontasâ Warren (D-MA) denied the order crisis as well while it was unfolding, only to virtue-signal and blame Trump when it became politically convenient for her to do so.
So Elizabeth Warren says she went to the border in June 2018 and saw a humanitarian crisis, but then in March 2019… twitter.com/i/web/status/1⌗

Gaetz made note that the Trump administration has been sounding the alarm bells the entire time.
âYou know who doesnât think itâs funny? The Trump administration, because [Acting United States Secretary of Homeland Security] Secretary [Kevin] McAleenan has been ringing the warning bell for months about the crisis. He begged you all to take action more quickly,â Gaetz said.
âIt should be very clear from these numbers that we âre facing alarming trends and a rising volume of people illegally crossing our southwest border, or arriving at our ports of entry without documents,â McAleenan said back in March. âThe system is well beyond capacity and remains at the breaking point.â
Democrats have ignored the warnings from the Trump administration, instead choosing to play politics with the issue of border security with U.S. communities and migrant children suffering mightily as a result.
âOne of the reasons why so many young people, so many vulnerable people are in tragic conditions is because we didnât act when the administration wanted us to provide funding that was absolutely necessary to care for people,â Gaetz explained.
âIt wasnât the Republicans that were in denial. It was all of you, and it was in your own words from your own leadership. Be offended with the Democratic whip, not the House Republicans,â Gaetz concluded.
