Following Democrats’ success at the polls in Virginia’s November elections, gun control legislation such as universal background checks, “assault weapons” bans, and red flag laws are back on the menu.
Grassroots gun organizations have teamed up with sheriffs across the state to form Second Amendment sanctuary counties, which have the explicit purpose of empowering law enforcement to protect the Second Amendment against any of the gun control bills passed in the Virginia state legislature.
So far, over 75 counties in Virginia have passed Second Amendment sanctuary resolutions in the state, with the latest being Spotsylvania County. The board of supervisors unanimously voted to approve a resolution stating that county police will not enforce state-level gun laws that infringe upon the Second Amendment.

Virginia Democrat officials, however, have another view about these law enforcement agents’ actions. They believe they will face consequences if they don’t carry out any law the legislature passes.
“I would hope they either resign in good conscience, because they cannot uphold the law which they are sworn to uphold, or they’re prosecuted for failure to fulfill their oath,” Democratic Virginia Congressman Gerry Connolly told the Washington Examiner of local county police who may not enforce laws that infringe upon on gun rights. “The law is the law. If that becomes the law, you don’t have a choice, not if you’re a sworn officer of the law.”
Democratic Congressman. Donald McEachin even suggested slashing state funds to counties that do not comply with any gun control laws passed by the Virginia legislature.
“They certainly risk funding, because if the sheriff’s department is not going to enforce the law, they’re going to lose money. The counties’ attorneys offices are not going to have the money to prosecute because their prosecutions are going to go down,” he stated.
McEachin also highlighted that Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northam could summon the National Guard, if things get really out of hand.
“And ultimately, I’m not the governor, but the governor may have to nationalize the National Guard to enforce the law,” he added. “That’s his call, because I don’t know how serious these counties are and how severe the violations of law will be. But that’s obviously an option he has.”
Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring pinned the blame on the “gun lobby” for moving numerous Second Amendment resolutions as a tactic to supposedly” scare” state residents.
“The resolutions that are being passed are being ginned up by the gun lobby to try to scare people. What we’re talking about here are laws that will make our communities and our streets safer,” Herring told CBS 6.
“So, when Virginia passes these gun safety laws that they will be followed, they will be enforced,” he continued.
Despite what the Virginia political class says, Virginia gun owners are taking cues from other grassroots activists across the nation who are using their counties and municipalities to revolt against federal and state level gun grabs.
The current two-party system has no reliable bloc that will automatically defend gun owners’ interests, so gun owners will have to get creative in trying to preserve their Second Amendment freedoms.

In a letter written to Minister of Canadian Heritage Steven Guilbeault, Trudeau asked that social media companies be required to “remove illegal content, including hate speech, within 24 hours or face significant penalties.”
“This should include other online harms such as radicalization, incitement to violence, exploitation of children, or creation or distribution of terrorist propaganda,” the Prime Minister continued.
Trudeau also wrote a letter to Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada David Lametti, instructing him to work with his colleagues “to combat online hate and harassment.”
Canada appears to be following the lead of European nations like Germany, France and England, who have “anti-hate speech” laws in the books.
In the UK, people can be fined or even imprisoned for “hate speech,” while in Germany, social media companies are fined millions of dollars for failing to combat content labeled “hate speech.”
In France, social media sites who don’t remove “hate speech” within 24 hours can be fined up to €1.25m (£1.12m).
Ironically, Justin Trudeau was recently caught in a major scandal after several photos of him wearing blackface were made public.
Would the Canadian Prime Minister be punished for the images under his proposed “anti-hate speech” agenda?

Speaker Pelosi, serial liar Adam Schiff, Jerrold Nadler and Democrats continue to lose the trust of the American public as they pursue their unprecedented politically motivated, partisan impeachment of President Trump.
There are nearly 3 dozen vulnerable freshman Democrat representatives in Trump districts who may lose their seats if they vote for impeachment.
So far they have been coy when asked what they will do when the time comes to vote on the two articles of impeachment.
Democrat Reps Elissa Slotkin (MI) and Jason Crow (CO) will both vote to impeach Trump.
Slotkin will vote yea on both articles of impeachment, reported Fox News’ Chad Pergram.

Crow, a freshman who is not on the original list of 31 vulnerable Democrats flipped a red seat blue in Colorado’s 6th district, announced he will vote to impeach Trump Sunday night at a town hall.

Democrats changed the rules, stacked the hearings with second-hand and third-hand witnesses, blocked Republicans from their day of witnesses, cut off Republicans from any decisions or requested witnesses, blocked Republicans and the White House from interviewing their original “whistleblower” Eric Ciaramella who is linked to Schiff, John Brennan, Susan Rice and Joe Biden.
Democrats blocked the White House from confronting their accuser, interrogating their accuser and providing witnesses – a basic right of every American citizen.
The abuse from the Judiciary Committee continued as the panel released a 169-page report in the dead of the night Monday alleging President Trump committed criminal bribery and wire fraud.
The report will accompany the two very broad articles of impeachment that will be voted on this week, likely on Wednesday.
The report taunted President Trump with a prison threat and stated that the federal wire fraud statute imposes a 20 year prison sentence.
The Democrats allege that President Trump engaged in a months-long scheme to interfere in the 2020 election by soliciting foreign interference by withholding military aid from Ukraine unless Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to investigate the Biden crime family.
Trump Impeachment is all about covering for Obama-era crimes including billions of dollars laundered, extortion and bribery.
Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani was on a roll Sunday afternoon and dropped bombshells revealing a huge Ukrainian money laundering operation involving Obama-era officials and the Biden crime family.
“Much more to come” Giuliani said Sunday concluding that Democrats’ impeachment for innocent conduct is intended to obstruct investigations of Obama-era corruption.
Send these Reps to the unemployment line for voting with their Stalinist Democrat leadership to impeach President Trump for NON CRIMES!

David Robinson, whose drag queen name is Miss Kitty Litter ATX, read stories to children at the Blackshear Fine Arts Academy on Oct. 7. The school district apparently knew about Robinson’s record as a sex offender before allowing him to speak to the children while cross-dressing as well.
Robinson told school librarian Roger Grape that he feared he would not pass a background check because “the guidelines for submission automatically disqualify me if the deferred adjudication for prostitution is considered a conviction… so I don’t know if [it’s] ethical to submit,” according to internal documents within the school.
Oddly enough, he was allowed to speak to the children. The Austin Intermediate School District (AISD) assured parents that Robinson was properly screened despite his history as a sex offender.
“According to emails sent to parents,” Texas Values points out, “the reading event was scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. and all readers had been screened by Austin ISD.”
Previously, an Austin school on the other side of the district featured a drag queen who put make-up on children all day despite not being licensed to do so. The most liberal city in Texas seems to be emerging as a vanguard for the pedo-acceptance movement.
In October, the AISD approved new sexual education standards called a “dream scenario for pedophiles” that give children pointers on how to perform anal sex and encouraging them to get abortions without their parental consent.
Big League Politics reported on the Gomorrah-esque hellscape that is developing in the Lone Star State:
The Austin Independent School District (AISD) approved the standards unanimously last month. At the meeting where it was approved, over 100 people made their voices heard about the standards. Pro-child advocates faced off with depraved LGBT activists, who are delighted about the success of their efforts to corrupt the souls of the youth.
One page from the new sex ed standards will give children tips about the best way to have anal sex. It tells children to eschew myths about anal sex, and that “if you get ready the right way, it doesn’t need to hurt and won’t cause health issues,” adding that “many people enjoy it!”
Another page from the new sex ed standards encourages children to receive birth control and abortions without their parents’ consent.
“After you turn 14, you can get medical care like birth control, STI tests, and abortions without your parents finding out. It’s confidential and you don’t need their permission!” the curriculum explains.
The AISD had to scrap its previous sex ed plan because it had been formed in conjunction with abortion providers, which was made illegal by the state legislature in 2018. They decided to instead consult with LGBT-rights groups to evade the ban. Planned Parenthood is very pleased at the results.
“On behalf of Planned Parenthood and our review of these lessons, they are LGBTQ inclusive and comprehensive and we support all your efforts in leadership tonight,” said Sarah Wheat, chief external affairs officer for Planned Parenthood in Texas.
Two other sexual predators were found to be administering “Drag Queen Story Hour” events in Houston earlier this year.

Capitol police stood nearby and did nothing as this journalist photographed Congressional papers related to the ongoing Democrat-led witch hunt against President Trump.
The dastardly deed was caught on video and can be seen here:
A final vote on the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump could come as early as Thursday night, as the House Judiciary Committee continues to argue about the language within the articles.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) proposed an amendment for the following language to be inserted into the articles of impeachment regarding foreign aid released to Ukraine: “The aid was released within days of Ukrainian President Zelenskiy signing two major anti-corruption measures into law, convincing President Trump that the new Ukrainian administration was serious about reform measures, and consistent with Administration policy to ensure foreign aid is not used for corrupt purposes.”
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) proposed that “Joe Biden” be replaced with “Burisma and Hunter Biden” in his proposed amendment to the article of impeachment referencing President Trump’s supposed abuse of power.
“This amendment strikes the reference to Joe Biden as the center of the proposed investigation and replaces it with the true topic of the investigation: Burisma and Hunter Biden,” Gaetz said in reference to the Ukrainian gas firm that once paid off the former vice president’s son.
“An essential element of the Democrats’ case on abuse of power is that the Bidens did nothing wrong. It can only be an abuse of power and not a correct use of power if the president was pursuing something under which there was no reasonable basis to ask a question about Hunter Biden and Burisma,” he added.
“Working for some foreign government while your dad’s the vice president of the United States. Is there anyone who believes this is OK?” Gaetz continued.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) tore into Article 1 , which claims that the President tried to coerce the Ukrainian government into subverting an election.
“This strikes Article 1 because Article 1 ignores the truth. Four facts, five meetings. We’ve known there have been four facts that have not changed, will not change, will never change and we’ve known it since September 25th when the call transcript was released,” Jordan says. “It shows no quid pro quo. What’s interesting is the day the transcript came out, even chairman Nadler said there was no quid pro quo in the transcript,” Jordan said.
“Article 1 in this resolution ignores the truth, the facts. It ignores what happened and what has been laid out for the American people over the last three weeks. So I hope that this committee will come to its senses, that it will adopt the amendment and strike article 1 from the resolution,” he added.
President Trump is also hammering Congressional Democrats for lying about what he said in his transcript with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy:

The impeachment farce is going very poorly for Democrats, which may be why they have their fake news goons collecting intel.

Americans cannot be trusted to do the right thing and elect a Democrat.
So that’s why they are pushing this sham impeachment.
FOX News reported:
“We cannot rely on an election to solve our problems, when the president threatens the very integrity of that election,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said in his opening statement, claiming Trump’s discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about Joe and Hunter Biden’s dealings in the country, and the White House’s temporary withholding of military aid to Ukraine, constituted an “urgent” threat to national security.
“This committee now owes it to the American people to give these articles careful attention,” Nadler added at the beginning of the markup for the impeachment articles, which included obstruction of Congress and abuse of power.

In autumn 2014, readers of American Superhero comics came across something a bit different. The first issue of Marvel’s The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl saw an established character strangely changed from a cute and sassy young woman into an awkwardly shaped, goofwho cracked unfunny gags about pop culture. She was, bluntly, ugly – deliberately badly proportioned and drawn in a casual “indie” fashion. The book was aimed at hipsters, not Marvel fans.
Readers didn’t take to the character because it looked an ironic in-joke. It became a flagship “diversity” book for Marvel.
Marvel Comics were ‘looking to be politically correct’. Other changes soon became apparent at Marvel Comics. Established characters changed race or sex; female characters became unfeminine; male characters became less heroic; and the number of gay characters increased dramatically. More and more traditional characters were changed for political reasons.
Newcomers arriving directly from the movies were baffled to find that the Hulk was Korean-American and Iron Man was a teen black girl. Recent years have also seen an Afro-Latin Spider-Man, a female Muslim Ms Marvel, and a black Captain America.
The drive to “diversify” comics was strange as American comics were already diverse; comic-book readers had always accepted new characters with good stories.
What made matters worse was that new writers seemed to have little ability to write American superhero comics, a genre with specific traditions and rules. In order to appeal to a new readership, Marvel Comics hired female authors of young adult fiction whose main subjects were human interest and slice-of-life drama – not very compatible with the hero mythos, action and thriller stories.
Some writers made no effort to conform to expectations. The current James Bond comic (published by Dark Horse) is written by Vita Ayala and Danny Lore, two black women who have focused their story on a black female character.
Fans resented the blatant alteration of history by newcomer writers and editors who believed they were more virtuous than the fans. Meanwhile, all criticism of the new authors was dismissed out of hand.
The new writers and their corporate backers accused critics of bigotry and hatred. Creators abused fans and told them “this book wasn’t written for you” and “I don’t want your money”. There was glee about upsetting devoted fans by despoiling beloved characters. Marvel Comics and DC to give work to freelance creators who were actively driving away potential customers.
New creators alienated regular fans while not significantly increasing consumption by women, younger readers and non-white audiences. A war between comic-book publishers and fans had begun.
By 2017, long-time readers had become bored of masculine women acting like men, men being weak and stupid, and ordinary white Americans being portrayed as dumb racists. They were depressed by the absence of heterosexual relationships between characters. They resented the Mary Sues (tokenistic, overpowered characters who have no flaws and face no real peril) being used for purposes of representation. They disliked new heroes who moped around or acted like petulant bullies.
Readers simply had had enough.
On a daily basis I read websites and watch videos where fans reject political correctness and the disrespect of professionals. Eventually, these disparate voices formed a loose alliance called ComicsGate, critiquing bad comics and creating communities in video comment sections. In my book Culture War: Art, Identity Politics and Cultural Entryism I documented the rise of independent creators and readers who wanted traditional apolitical adventures.
In an industry dominated by a few major publishers, a single distributor and a limited (and contracting) network of specialist retailers, politics has destroyed producer-consumer rapport and long-term trust. The narcissism of political activists in firms, lack of management oversight and predatory practices have decimated the American superhero comic industry at a time when its characters are more famous than ever.
But the future of comics could be the independent creators within the ComicsGate movement.
Prominent creators who believed that they had been unofficially blacklisted by their firms (including Mitch Breitweiser, Jon Malin, Doug TenNapel and Ethan van Sciver) decided to publish politics-free adventure books independently. Using the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, they sold their apolitical comic books. Van Sciver’s book CyberFrog Bloodhoney raised more than $950,000. Campaigns by ComicsGate creators have generated more than $2 million in a year despite being frozen out of media coverage.
And they have also had to face industry obstacles.
When Richard Meyer (who makes video critiques like Comics Matters w/ Ya Boi Zack) tried to publish his action-hero comic Jawbreakers with Antarctic Press, the project was abruptly called off. Meyer claims that the deal was interfered with by Mark Waid, prominent writer and public opponent of ComicsGate. Meyer is suing Waid for compensation in ongoing litigation.
The boom in crowdfunding projects has opened doors to new creators, including Clint Stoker, who runs the YouTube channel Sweetcast. Building a rapport with viewers through regular videos, Stoker’s first book, Downcast, earned $31,667. I asked him if ComicsGate had changed the landscape for newcomers.
He said: “Yes! I had a lot of opportunities because of CG. There is a lot of excitement around Indie comics in CG. I benefit from networking and getting backers to give my book a shot.”
Asked what ComicsGate should mean to an outsider, Stoker replies “Let the books speak for themselves!”
Can Stoker and others challenge the primacy of the industry giants? As long as people want to read classic stories of heroism, and Marvel and DC refuse them to the public, they have every chance.
