SCHIFF’S ‘RE-TELLING’ OF TRUMP PHONE CALL WITH UKRAINE HEAD GETS MOCKED AS ‘UNHINGED ORANGE-MAN-BAD FAN FICTION’

Schiff’s ‘re-telling’ of Trump phone call with Ukraine head gets mocked as ‘unhinged Orange-Man-Bad fan fiction’

Schiff was mocked by Republican lawmakers and pundits for being so “desperate” that he resorted to rewriting the call into “unhinged ‘Orange Man Bad’ fan fiction.”

SEPTEMBER 27, 2019

With impeachment efforts against President Donald Trump resting on the content of a single phone call, who could blame Congressman Adam Schiff for embellishing the truth a little, all to sell his “Orange Man Bad” narrative.

Though Trump released a transcript of the call in question on Wednesday, the Democrat-controlled House Intelligence Committee pressed ahead with questioning Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire on Thursday, about his handling of the whistleblower complaint that first thrust the phone call into the spotlight.

His thunder stolen by the release of the transcript – which failed to reveal the quid-pro-quo arrangement between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Democrats had alleged – Schiff added some dramatic flourishes to his summary of the call as Maguire’s hearing opened, describing “the essence of what the president communicates.”

“We’ve been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what? I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you, though. And I’m gonna say this only seven times, so you better listen good.”

“I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand, lots of it. On this and on that. I’m going to put you in touch with people…and by the way don’t call me again. I’ll call you when you’ve done what I asked.”

Sounds dramatic, but the only problem? Trump didn’t say any of this. Not a word. Schiff was mocked by Republican lawmakers and pundits for being so “desperate” that he resorted to rewriting the call into “unhinged ‘Orange Man Bad’ fan fiction.”

Chastised by Republicans on the committee, Schiff admitted that his mad-libbed re-telling of the call was “parody,” a stand-up routine of sorts from the California congressman. “It’s a shame that we started off this hearing with fictional remarks,” Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) said. “Unfortunately today, many innocent Americans are going to turn on their TV and the media is only going to show that section of what the chairman had to say.”

From his wooden delivery to his poor imitation of Trump, Schiff will unlikely be leaving Washington DC for Hollywood any time soon. However, the California Democrat is well versed in grandiose storytelling. Schiff branded the idea of probing Joe Biden’s son Hunter over his role at a Ukrainian gas holding as “making up dirt” – this from the same Schiff who kept audiences on edge for the last two years by promising to reveal “direct evidence” of “Russian collusion” hiding “in plain sight.”

Schiff’s promises never amounted to anything beyond the contents of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report and, perhaps with Russia seeming a dead end, the congressman is now looking to Ukraine to satisfy his appetite for investigation.

The actual Trump quote on Biden in the conversation with Zelensky goes as follows: “The other thing, there’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution [of the Burisma Holding where Hunter Biden was on board of directors] and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the attorney general [William Barr] would be great.”

FAKE NEWS MEDIA – IRONY: Reporter Who Shamed ‘Iowa Legend’ Carson King Dismissed From Newspaper for Offensive Tweets

Cancel culture has backfired on a fake news man.

By Shane Trejo

Aaron Calvin, a fake news reporter who shamed Children’s Hospital fundraiser Carson King for offensive tweets earlier this week, is no longer working for the Des Moines Register after his own offensive tweets were unearthed.

Carol Hunter, who works as executive editor for the Register, made the announcement in an op/ed released on Thursday.

“I want to be as transparent as possible about what we did and why, answer the questions you’ve raised and tell you what we’ve learned so far and what we’ll try to do better. For one, we’re revising our policies and practices, including those that did not uncover our own reporter’s past inappropriate social media postings. That reporter is no longer with the Register,” Hunter wrote.

“Thank you for your concerns about our coverage and for hearing me out directly here. To everyone who called, wrote and posted your opinions — your passion about news and its role in our society is clear. We heard you say you want news coverage that helps bring us together, not divide us. We agree, and we appreciate your heartfelt critiques of our work, as well as your support,” she added.

Previously, Hunter had defended the article shaming King for offensive tweets that he had made as a juvenile:

King had gained prominence after a sign he held asking for beer money at an Iowa State University football game went viral on ESPN’s “College Gameday” this past weekend. After he raised a shocking $1 million dollars on his Venmo account, King announced he would donate the money to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. He was widely celebrated as a hero, until the fake news stepped in.

He was then made into a pariah by the journalists, in an instance of cancel culture at its worst. Anheuser-Busch dropped their partnership with him, and he was forced to prostrate himself publicly in an attempt to save face.

“I am so embarrassed and stunned to reflect on what I thought was funny when I was 16 years old. I want to sincerely apologize,” King said. “Thankfully, high school kids grow up and hopefully become responsible and caring adults.”

However, it was soon discovered that Calvin had made many offensive tweets throughout his past as well, and they were publicized on social media by people outraged Calvin would have the audacity to target a man who was doing laudable charity work.

“too many of these n*****s bitch made nowadays, don’t pardon my french” read one tweet. He also said the slur again while quoting Kanye West . “They’d rather give me the ‘n**** please award’. I’ll just take the ‘I got a lot of cheese award’ Tell it like it is Kanye.”

“I just got hit on by Tori Amos’ makeup guy. Never talk to strange gay men.” and “F*** the NYPD,” Colvin wrote in different tweets.

Calvin is now no longer employed with the Register, and the newspaper has suffered a great deal of embarrassment for their irresponsible reporting. Cancel culture has backfired on itself, as leftist fake news reporters are being held to their own Orwellian standards.

(PRESIDENT TRUMP IS UNDER ATTACK) ANOTHER LEAK: President Speaks to UN Staff in Private Meeting – Anti-Trump Staffer Tapes the Speech and Gives it to LA Times (AUDIO)

By Jim Hoft

On Thursday morning President Trump spoke at a private meeting of US diplomats this morning.

During his comments President Trump lashed out at the Intelligence officials who gave the partisan CIA whistleblower classified information on Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Zelensky.

President Trump told the diplomats, “Who gave the whistle-blower the information? Because that’s close to a spy.”

One of the attendees taped the president’s comments and fed them to the far left LA Times.

It was a headline in the mainstream media two hours later.

This is how the deep state rolls.

The story here is not the president’s comments but the deep state-mainstream media pipeline — The Democrats, Media and Intel Community are NOW ONE.

NYTimes ‘Outs’ Ukraine-Call “Whistleblower” As CIA Officer

By Tyler Durden

Soon after the Ukraine-gate “whistleblower” complaint was made public, questions about the source’s knowledge and background began to rise, as one former CIA officer noted very specifically:

The way this complaint was written suggested the author had a lot of help. I know from my work on the House Intel Commitee staff that many whistleblowers go directly to the intel oversight committees. Did this whistleblower first meet with House Intel committee members?

My view is that this whistleblower complaint is too convenient and too perfect to come from a typical whistleblower. Were other IC officers involved? Where outside groups opposed to the president involved?

This complaint will further damage IC relations with the White House for many years to come because IC officers appear to be politicizing presidential phone calls with foreign officials and their access to the president and his activities in the White House.

Worst of all, this IC officer — and probably others — have blatantly crossed the line into policy.

And sure enough, if The New York Times is to be believed, the complainant is a C.I.A. officer who was detailed to work at the White House at one point, according to three people familiar with his identity.

The man has since returned to the C.I.A., the people said.

The NYTimes, of course, puts its spin on the news, claiming that the whistle-blower’s expertise will likely add to lawmakers’ confidence about the merits of his complaint. However, given the current state of affairs, we suspect it will simply remind a deeply divided nation of the bias and prejudice that exists behind the President’s back

As Chuck Schumer once warned Trump:

“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community – they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you… So, even for a practical supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this.”

We wonder how many more ways they have left.

Schitt Show: Intel Chair Performs Fake Conversation Between Trump, Ukraine President Pencil Neck Dunks on Self

CAP

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) performed an entirely made-up conversation between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his opening statement at a committee hearing Thursday morning.

The White House released a transcript of a phone call between Trump and Zelensky on Wednesday, but Schiff made up and fabricated his own transcript that he read at the hearing, which sought to create the quid pro quo that Democrats have accused the president of making.

“This is the essence of what the president communicates,” Schiff began.

“We’ve been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what? I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from YOU though. And I’m going to say this only seven times so you better listen good,” Schiff read from his fabricated conversation.

“I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? Lots of it,” he continued.

“On this and on that. I’m gonna put you in touch with people and not just any people,” he continued, affecting an accent meant to resemble Trump’s. “I’m going to put you with the attorney general of the United States, my attorney general Bill Barr. He’s got the whole weight of the American law enforcement behind him.”

ADAM

“And I’m gonna put you in touch with Rudy, you’re gonna love him, trust me,” Schiff said, still avoiding any real quotations from the transcript. “You know what I’m asking, so I’m only going to say this a few more times, in a few more ways. And by the way don’t call me again. I’ll call you when you’ve done what I’ve asked.”

Schiff said of his made-up conversation, “This is in sum and character what the president was trying to communicate.”

Republican lawmakers slammed Schiff for making up the conversation entirely, instead of going off the transcript of what was actually said between Trump and Zelensky.

Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) called the statement “fiction”:

While the chairman was speaking, I actually had someone text me, ‘Is he just making this up?’ And yes, yes he was. Because sometimes fiction is better than the actual words or the text. But luckily the American people are smart. They have the transcript, they’ve read the conversation, they know when someone is just making it up.

After Turner’s scolding, Schiff said his “summary of the president’s call was at least meant to be in part parody.”

He added, “The fact that that’s not clear is a separate problem in and of itself. Of course the president never said, “If you didn’t understand me, I’m going to say it seven more times.’ My point is, that’s the message the Ukrainian president was receiving in not so many words.”

Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) accused Schiff of being intentionally misleading.

“I think it’s a shame that we started off this hearing with fictional remarks — the implication of a conversation that took place between a president and foreign leader, putting words into it that didn’t exist, they’re not in the transcript. And I would contend that they were intentionally not clear,” he said.

“The chairman described it as parody, and I don’t think this is the time or place for parody when we are trying to seek facts,” he added.

“And unfortunately today, many innocent Americans are going to turn on their TV and the media’s only going to show that section of what the chairman had to say, but I’m also glad to know that many Americans have seen this movie too many times and are tired of it.”

GOOD NEWS: John Bolton’s Firing Leads to Mass Globalist Exodus From Trump Administration

They’re dropping like flies!

By Shane Trejo

The forced resignation of neoconservative warmonger John Bolton from the Trump administration has caused a mass exodus of globalists who have resigned in protest.

Garrett Marquis and Sarah Tinsley, who formerly worked as the National Security Council’s press operation as senior directors for strategic communications, and Christine Samuelian, who was Bolton’s personal assistant, have chosen to leave the White House staff as a result of President Trump’s decision.

“It was an honor to serve my country, and I wish the president and the administration success moving forward,” Marquis said on Wednesday

Marquis was connected to Bolton for years, working as his spokesman when Bolton had a job at the public affairs firm Prism Group. Samuelian was Bolton’s long-time assistant, having worked with the mustachioed warmonger for many years. Tinsley formerly worked for the Foundation for American Security and Freedom (FASF), a not-for-profit entity founded by Bolton to encourage a more hawkish foreign policy.

“America needs more robust and effective involvement in international affairs to keep our allies close and further our national security interests,” Bolton said in a press release when FASF was established in 2015.

“This new foundation will provide the necessary platform, resources, and leadership to demonstrate to the world that we will recognize American exceptionalism not only in rhetoric, but also in deeds,” he added.

After Bolton left the administration, President Trump made sure to kick him while the man was down, and further discredit his neocon globalist outlook on foreign affairs.

“So, John is somebody that I actually got along with very well. He made some very big mistakes,” Trump said following Bolton’s firing last week.

“As soon as he mentioned that, the Libyan model, what a disaster. Take a look at what happened to Gadhafi,” Trump elaborated about Bolton’s incompetence. “I don’t blame Kim Jong Un for what he said after that. And he wanted nothing to do with John Bolton. And that’s not a question of being tough. That’s a question of being not smart to say something like that.”

“John wasn’t in line with what we were doing and actually in some cases he thought it was too tough what we were doing. Mr. Tough Guy, you know, you had to go into Iraq. Going into Iraq was something he felt very strongly about,” Trump added.

It may be the dawning of a new era within the Trump administration, as the Bush-era neocons are losing the battle to influence President Trump into adopting the failed foreign policy of past globalist presidential administrations.

Deep State FBI Given Hard Evidence of Hillary Clinton-Linked $66 Billion Libya Scheme — Launched Junk Investigation Against Trump-Russia Hoax Instead

In February 2018 Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) joined “Fox and Friends,” and revealed shadowy Clinton figure, Sidney Blumenthal, who was involved in the Benghazi scandal, appears to have been a key source for dossier author Christopher Steele

Partial transcript via The Daily Caller:

“The names we keep hearing are Sidney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer — people who have been around the Clintons as being a part of this. But I also think it’s kind of interesting because what it looks like is, they paid Steele to put together the dossier and told him what to put in,” Jordan said. “Talk about rigging the game and putting together a document that will serve your purposes as an opposition research document.”

“That is what the Clinton team did and then when you see names like Sidney Blumenthal coming up. We deposed this guy during the Benghazi hearings,” Jordan continued. “

He has been with the Clintons forever. He was knee deep in the whole Libya, Benghazi story, particularly the story where they weren’t square with the American people about what was the actual catalyst of the attack, and they tried to blame it on video.”

But now there is more to the story.

According to Zero Hedge recently made public FBI records reveal that the agency virtually ignored evidence from private GOP-backed sources about a scheme in which Hillary Clinton associates tried to exploit her position as Secretary of State in order to profit from the 2011 turmoil in Libya she helped to create, according to RealClearInvestigations.

The documents, provided to the FBI in June 2016 as the agency was kicking its Trump-Russia investigation into high gear, allege that Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal sent her “a series of detailed memos and reports about Libya,” which were intended as a “quid pro quo” which might help a post-Gaddafi Libya recover as much as $66 billion in offshore funds hidden by the slain strongman.

According to the private investigators funded by Judicial Watch: “Our evidence shows that Mr. Blumenthal was involved with a group of intelligence professionals seeking to repatriate asset[s] which were plundered and then exfiltrated by the [Gaddafi] family and hidden in various offshore localities.”

If successful, Blumenthal and associates “stood to gain a brokers’ cut of perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars.”

The private Libya inquiry leaves important issues unsettled. The documents do not include emails or other original source material to support the allegations within. While claiming to possess evidence that Blumenthal and his associates had contracts and offshore accounts to repatriate the money, the documents say “no concrete evidence” was found suggesting Clinton acted to support the effort.

Yet if verified, the files might shed light on why Clinton kept her emails, tens of thousands of which have gone missing, out of normal government communication channels. RealClearInvestigations

The documents are labeled by the FBI as having been received on June 6, 2016 – a month before the first of Comey’s two exonerations of Hillary Clinton before the 2016 election.

This was roughly seven weeks before the FBI opened its counterintelligence probe of the Trump campaign based on nothing.
