Four children were among the weekend’s victims, including a 1-year-old boy fatally shot in Englewood, a 10-year-old girl killed in Logan Square and a 17-year-old boy killed in Humboldt Park.

Four children were among 65 people shot across Chicago this weekend, 18 of them fatally. Three of the children were killed.

The weekend gun violence brought Chicago past 300 homicides so far this year, the benchmark that Supt. David Brown challenged the police department to stay under in April. Last year, the city didn’t break 300 homicides until early August, according to Sun-Times data.

Three children killed

A 10-year-old girl was fatally shot Saturday night when a stray bullet hit her inside a Logan Square home on the Northwest Side.

She was inside the apartment about 9:40 p.m. in the 3500 block of West Dickens Avenue when the bullet came through a window and struck her in the head, Chicago police said.

Lina Nunez was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead hours later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Neighbors said they heard gunfire but believed it was fireworks. Police said the shots may have come from a group of males who began firing at another group in the block.

Earlier that afternoon, a 1-year-old boy was killed and his mother was wounded in Englewood on the South Side.

The woman and her child were driving home from a laundromat just after 2 p.m. when a gunman pulled up alongside them in another vehicle and opened fire near 60th and Halsted streets, according to police. The child was struck once in the chest, while his mother, 22, was grazed on the head. She drove them to St. Bernard Hospital, where the child died. The mother was later taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment and her condition was stabilized.

The medical examiner’s office identified the boy as Sincere A. Gaston. He lived in South Chicago.

Earlier that morning, a teenage boy was shot to death in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

Antiwon Douglas, 17, was in a large crowd at 11:25 a.m. in the 1100 block of North Monticello Avenue when he got into an altercation and someone from the group pulled out a gun and fired shots, authorities said. Douglas, who lived in Humboldt Park, was struck on the left side of his chest and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died.

Monday morning

The most recent fatal shooting happened early Monday in Brighton Park on the Southwest Side.

A 21-year-old man was walking about 2:22 a.m. in the 4400 block of South Whipple Street when a male suspect approached him and shot him in the face and leg, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nearly two hours before that, a man was found shot to death in Humboldt Park.

Joseph Gisc, 22, was discovered inside a home with gunshot wounds to his chin and face at 12:39 a.m. in the 900 block of North Central Park Avenue, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was found unresponsive in the 4500 block of West Fulton Avenue with a gunshot wounds to his hip and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. He appeared to have exited the car and collapsed on the ground after crashing into two parked cars in the 4500 block of West Maypole Avenue.

Earlier Sunday night, another man was killed in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

Terron S. Tate, 24, was walking about 8:40 p.m. in the 12100 block of South Michigan Avenue when someone in a black vehicle shot him in the head, back and shoulder, authorities said. Tate, who lived in West Pullman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three people were killed in separate shootings within 90 minutes Sunday morning.

The latest of those attacks left a 38-year-old man dead in Little Village on the Southwest Side.

He was walking in an alley about 8:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Troy Street when someone got out of an SUV, walked up to him and fired shots, striking him multiple times, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Just over an hour earlier, an 18-year-old man was shot to death in South Chicago.

Andrew Richmond was shot multiple times in the torso about 7:20 a.m. in the 8200 block of South Escanaba Avenue, officials said. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

About 20 minutes before that, another man was fatally shot in Rogers Park on the North Side.

Angelo D. Pullum, 36, was walking about 7 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Lunt Avenue when someone walked up to him and shot him in the back of the head, authorities said. The shooter then ran to a black SUV that sped off west on Lunt toward Clark Street. Pullum, who lives in Rogers Park, was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead.

Earlier that morning, a man was shot and killed in Austin on the West Side.

Officers responding to a ShotSpotter alert for gunfire at 3:54 a.m. found 28-year-old Demil D. Spears lying unresponsive on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of North Mayfield Avenue, authorities said. Spears, who lived in Lawndale, had been shot in the back and face and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Saturday

Another man was killed and three others were wounded late Saturday night in Douglas on the South Side.

The men were at a large gathering about 11:35 p.m. in the 3100 block of South Rhodes Avenue when they were struck by bullets, police said. They were all taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center. A 24-year-old man who was struck in the groin was pronounced dead. Two 21-year-old men were shot in the leg. One is in good condition, and the other is in fair condition. A 22-year-old man was shot in the head and is in critical condition. Detectives took two people into custody for questioning.

Earlier that afternoon, two people were killed in separate shootings in Brighton Park and South Shore.

In Brighton Park, officers responding to a ShotSpotter call about 3:50 p.m. found 31-year-old David Santoyo unresponsive in the 4400 block of South Kedzie Avenue with a gunshot wound to his head, authorities said. Santoyo, who lived in Chicago Lawn, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, a man was shot to death in South Shore about the same time.

Officers responding to a ShotSpotter alert found the man, 28, unresponsive in the 7600 block of South Phillips Avenue, police said. He had been shot in the chest, neck and arm. The man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he later died.

Hours before that, a man was killed in a drive-by in Lawndale on the West Side.

About 10:25 a.m., he was walking in the 1300 block of South Springfield Avenue when someone in a passing silver-colored vehicle opened fire, according to police. The man, identified by the medical examiner’s office as 28-year-old Deron Collins, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died.

Nearly four hours earlier, a man was shot to death in Englewood.

He was sitting in a Chevrolet Tahoe about 6:50 a.m. in the first block of West 57th Street when someone fired shots, according to police. The man, thought to be about 30, was hit in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses told investigators they saw a 2003 Nissan speeding away from the area after the shots were fired.

About half an hour before that, another man was killed in Burnside on the South Side.

Dangelo Byrd, 33, was shot multiple times in the shoulder during a domestic dispute about 6:20 a.m. in the 9300 block of South Lyon Avenue, officials said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Friday

A man was killed in the weekend’s first shooting Friday evening in Austin.

The 42-year-old was on the sidewalk about 5:42 p.m. in the 200 block of North Leclaire Avenue when someone emerged from an alleyway and opened fire, Chicago police said. The man was struck in the head and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Nonfatal attacks

In nonfatal shootings, an 8-year-old girl was grazed by a stray bullet Saturday night inside a home in Englewood.

She was sitting on a couch at 11:18 p.m. inside the home on Wood Street when the stray bullet came through the window and grazed her on her head, according to police. She was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in fair condition.

A woman was critically injured in a shooting Sunday morning in Rogers Park on the North Side.

The 31-year-old was riding in a vehicle at 5:42 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Juneway Terrace when someone fired shots, police said. A bullet came through the rear window and grazed the woman on the left side of her head. She went to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston in critical condition.

Just over an hour before that, three people were shot in Austin.

They were outside with a group of other people at 4:26 a.m. in the 500 block of North Menard Avenue when someone fired at them from a passing vehicle, police said. A 31-year-old man was shot in the chest and foot. Someone drove him to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park in serious condition.

A 35-year-old woman was taken to the same hospital in fair condition with a gunshot wound to her foot, police said. A 37-year-old woman was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition.

At least 38 other people have been injured by gunfire throughout the city between 5 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.

Last weekend’s gun violence reached a peak this year with 104 shot, 15 fatally. Five children were among those killed.

Council advances plan to dismantle Minneapolis Police Dept

in this June 1, 2020 file photo, an emotional Terrence Floyd, second from right, is comforted as he sits at the spot at the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis, Minn., where his brother George Floyd, encountered police and died while in their custody. A dispatcher who was …

By Breitbart – 6/26/2020

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minneapolis City Council on Friday unanimously approved a radical proposal to change the city charter that would allow the police department to be dismantled, following mass public criticism of law enforcement over the killing of George Floyd.

The 12-0 vote is just the first step in a process that faces significant bureaucratic obstacles to make the November ballot, where the city’s voters would have the final say. And it came amid a spate of recent shootings in Minnesota’s largest city that have heightened many citizens’ concerns about talk of dismantling the department.

The Minneapolis force has come under heavy pressure since Floyd, a Black man in handcuffs, died May 25 after a police officer pressed his knee on Floyd’s neck for nearly eight minutes. Activists had long accused the department of being unable to change a racist and brutal culture, and earlier this month, a majority of the council proclaimed support for dismantling the department.

Doing so would first require amending the city charter. Draft language of the amendment posted online would replace the department with a Department of Community Safety and Violence Prevention, “which will have responsibility for public safety services prioritizing a holistic, public health-oriented approach.”

The amendment goes on to say the director of the new agency would have “non-law-enforcement experience in community safety services, including but not limited to public health and/or restorative justice approaches.” It also provides for a division of licensed peace officers, who would answer to the department’s director.

Council members who support the change are looking to seize on a groundswell of support for significant policing changes following Floyd’s death. If they don’t get the charter change on the November ballot, their next chance won’t come until November 2021, they say.

“It is time to make structural change,” Council Member Steve Fletcher said. “It is time to start from scratch and reinvent what public safety looks like.”

The proposed amendment is expected to be approved Friday, but that’s just a first step. It goes then to a policy committee and to the city’s Charter Commission for formal review. The commission’s recommendation doesn’t bind the council, but it takes time.

Barry Clegg, chairman of the Charter Commission, said the process feels rushed.

“As I understand it, they are saying, ‘We are going to have this new department. We don’t know what it’s going to look like yet. We won’t implement this for a year, we’ll figure it out,’” Clegg said. “For myself anyway, I would prefer that we figured it out first, and then voted on it.”

Clegg said that to get the proposed amendment question on the November ballot, it has to be finalized by Aug. 21. He said if the Charter Commission took its final action at its Aug. 5 meeting, there would likely be enough time for it to get passed by the full council, go through a veto period, and then, if vetoed, have time to spare for a possible mayoral veto override. Once on the ballot, the measure would go to voters.

Mayor Jacob Frey doesn’t support abolishing the department, a stance that got him booed off the street by activists who demonstrated outside his house following Floyd’s death and demanded to know where he stood.

Frey expressed concerns about the proposed amendment as currently drafted, including whether the change would eliminate police altogether or allow for a police presence going forward. He also said that when something currently goes wrong, the chief and the mayor are accountable — but under the new plan, accountability would be dispersed among 14 people. Frey also questioned whether policing practices would vary, based on ward or other factors.

“There is a significant lack of clarity. And if I’m seeing a lack of clarity, so are our constituents,” said Frey, who has said he supports deep structural change in the existing department.

Fletcher said under the new agency when someone calls 911, there will always be a response that’s appropriate, including the option for a response by employees authorized to use force. But he said the vast majority of calls that police officers currently take will be answered by employees with different expertise.

Miski Noor, an organizer with Black Visions, criticized the proposed amendment for creating a division of licensed peace officers at all. She said it “would give current and former police way too much power to shape public safety in Minneapolis.”

Steven Belton, president and chief executive of Urban League Twin Cities, said the way some council members went forward without a concrete plan is “irresponsible.”

“The problem that needs to be stated up front, from my perspective, is racism. … I’m not sure what they are trying to fix here,” he said.

Don Blyly, whose beloved science fiction and mystery bookstores were destroyed by arson in the unrest that followed Floyd’s death, said if local leaders do something “sufficiently stupid” when it comes to policing, he won’t reopen in Minneapolis.

“There are legitimate problems with the Minneapolis police, but the way the politicians are going about it is just ridiculous,” Blyly said. “They are pandering to a certain segment of the electorate.”

‘CHICAGO WORSE THAN AFGHANISTAN’: TRUMP BLASTS HIGH CRIME RATE IN ‘DEMOCRAT-RUN’ CITIES, SAYS IT’S LIKE LIVING IN HELL

More than 100 people, including several children, were shot in Chicago just over the weekend

‘Chicago worse than Afghanistan’: Trump blasts high crime rate in ‘Democrat-run’ cities, says it’s like living in HELL

US President Donald Trump said that Democratic Party mayors and the Barack Obama administration have done “virtually nothing” to combat violent crime in major American cities like Detroit and Chicago.

“Chicago is an example, it’s worse than Afghanistan, it’s worse than… Honduras,” Trump told Fox News anchor Sean Hannity.

We have cities that are worse, in some cases – far worse. Take a look at Detroit. Take a look at what’s happening in Oakland. Take a look at what’s happening in Baltimore… These cities, it’s like living in hell.

Trump said that these cities are “Democrat-run,” blaming the Democratic Party for doing “virtually nothing” to curb the high crime rate.

Though the annual murder rate has decreased in Chicago in recent years, it remains as one of America’s most dangerous cities, along with Detroit and Baltimore. More than 100 people, including several children, were shot in Chicago just over the weekend, 15 of them fatally. On May 31, 18 people were killed in the city, making it the single most violent day in Chicago in six decades, local media reported.

Trump also warned that he will intervene in Seattle, Washington, where activists set up a six-block ‘autonomous’ zone downtown, known as CHAZ/CHOP, barring police from entry. Several shootings took place at the area, leaving one man dead.

“If they don’t do something with Seattle, we’re going to do that. We’re going to go in there,” the president said.

The activist-run enclave in Seattle was established during a wave of anti-racism and police brutality protests triggered by the death of an unarmed black man, George Floyd, during a botched arrest attempt by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, last month. Some protest rallies in major cities were followed by fierce riots and looting.

The deaths of Floyd and other African Americans in encounters with officers have led to a rise in anti-police sentiment across the country.

Rep. Waters: “Incompetent and Heartless” Trump More Concerned About Statues Than Coronavirus

Just as her broken district begins to recover from riots, looting, and arson, the Los Angeles representative, Maxine Waters denounced the President claiming he “is more focused on saving statues of slaveholders, Confederate generals, and racists, than protecting the health of living and breathing Americans.”

“The United States remains the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, with more than 2.4 million cases and more than 124,000 deaths. My home state of California, Arizona, Texas, and Florida have seen their coronavirus cases skyrocket in the past two weeks,” Waters added. As the country and markets react to a second “scare” of coronavirus, Waters sidetracked the growing, social plague threatening the United States. The movement flooding major U.S. cities from Los Angeles to New York has caused the torching and looting of generational businesses.

The protests began following the death of George Floyd, a black man who was killed in Minneapolis under police custody. The phone-recorded video of his arrest showed an officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes while the man called, “I can’t breathe.” Those three words have become the rallying cry for democrats as they call for defunding the police.

As reported by The Hill, The twenty-nine-year, career politician, Maxine Waters, issued a lengthy statement attacking the President’s focus on condemning the actions of rioters and protestors as historic statues across the country increasingly fall or become defaced. Later this week, Trump will take up the pen to direct law enforcement to prosecute individuals involved in the devastation of federal or state monuments.

“I think many of the people that are knocking down the statues don’t even have any idea what the statute is, what it means, who it is when they knocked it down,” Trump said on Wednesday, in an unrelated press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda, according to NY Daily News.

BLM Leader: “If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it”

6/25/2020

Black Lives Matter leader from Greater New York Hawk Newsome was interviewed by Martha MacCallum tonight and gave a shocking threat to burn down the “system” and replace it if we don’t get what we want. Newsome recently published a list of demands from Black Lives Matter (see below).

This was clearly a threat, and the list of demands below are a threat to America.

Black Lives Matter Leader: “If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it.. I could be speaking figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation.”

The Black Lives Matter movement put together what it described as a “clear vision of the world where black humanity and dignity is the reality” back in 2017. Since then, the movement has grown in power, and with that newfound power, they just released a new set of demands on Sunday. As reported last week, the new list of demands announced Sunday reach far and wide with stunning requests to defund the police and replace them with a group similar to the “Black Panther Party or Nation of Islam.” (see previous report below) It’s a power and money grab that claims its goal is to achieve “black liberation.”

PRNews reports the co-founders of Black Lives Matter Greater New York (BLMNY) announced

“We are centering Black Pain at the crossroads of the world,” said Hawk Newsome, Chairperson of BLMNY. “What was once known as “The Great Whitey Way” will now be known as the Black Pathway. For tomorrow we lay the path to Black opportunity.”

The legislative Blueprint, posted to the new Black Opportunities movement’s website, is a policy platform to reform failed statutes and regulations to begin the long march of reform to a more civil and just society. Black Lives Matter is a global movement that successfully focused attention on state-sanctioned violence and anti-Black racism. The new Black Opportunities movement offers the next step on the path to Black liberation by providing educational and empowerment opportunities while preparing and training Black people to protect their own communities.

Drafted as a local, state and federal policy framework to advance solutions to build strong Black communities, and to end the institutional racism and militarized police state responsible for the unjustified killing of Black persons, the Blueprint includes policies that:

-Require police to provide immediate assistance to persons in custody in medical distress – I Can’t Breathe Act
-Eliminate qualified immunity protection for law enforcement officers
-Authorize prosecution of officers who knowingly file false reports – The Blue Wall Act
-Disband police unions to reduce wrongful protection of bad cops
-Disarm and defund police departments to build stronger, safer communities:

CLOSE THE PIPELINE BETWEEN THE MILITARY AND THE POLICE BY ELIMINATING PROGRAMS THAT SELL MILITARY GRADE EQUIPMENT TO POLICE DEPARTMENTS, PROVIDE MILITARY TRAINING TO OFFICERS, OR FIND VETERANS JOBS IN THE POLICE FORCE.

REMOVE POLICE WEAPONS IN SETTINGS SUCH AS IN K-12 SCHOOLS, COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES, HOSPITALS, SPORTING EVENTS AND ULTIMATELY ON STREET PATROL.

DEMAND THAT LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES DIVERT FUNDS FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT AND REINVEST FUNDING INTO VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES TO BUILD STRONGER, SAFER AND PRODUCTIVE COMMUNITIES.

UTILIZE NYPD BUDGET FOR PAYOUTS AND SETTLEMENTS FOR POLICE MISCONDUCT AND BRUTALITY INSTEAD OF NEW YORK CITY BUDGET.

DEMAND THAT ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS STOP TAKING PBA AND POLICE DONATIONS AND RETURN ALL DONATIONS ALREADY MADE.

-Create Special Prosecutor for police misconduct
-Repeal New York’s 50-A statute to increase police transparency and accountability
-Ban cruel and unusual punishment of incarcerated persons, including solitary confinement
-Enact the Judith Clark Law to release aging people in prison who pose little risk
-Education reforms that are community lead and provide critical curriculum
-Enact housing reform policies to protect access to affordable housing
Call for reparations for descendants of enslaved during colonization
-Provide right to counsel for victims of police brutality
-Implement fair and timely parole for incarcerated persons
-Create the Child and Family Equity Freedom Policy

“This Blueprint is a call to action for those we’ve elected to office to serve us. Laws are created to provide structure for our society and institutions, but they must be changed when they no longer serve the welfare of the governed,” said Chivona Newsome, BLMNY co-founder and candidate for Congress (NY-15). “For far too long our institutions have protected the abusers and victimized the innocent while trapping people of color in the quicksand of racism, poverty and despair.”

“Today marks a new beginning, a beginning that mirrors the revolution of our great country’s first days. The protests occurring here today in New York and around the world are symbols of our hope, power, and belief in a better and more just society,” said Newsome. “As our nation’s founding father Patrick Henry so famously proclaimed as he fought against the slavery of British rule, ‘Give me liberty or give me death!’ We’ve seen enough death. We now fan the flames of revolution and march onward to liberty.”

PREVIOUS REPORT ON DEFUNDING THE POLICE AND BRINGING IN “BLACK PANTHER-LIKE FORCE OR NATION OF ISLAM:

A “blueprint” for the way forward for the Black Lives Movement will be unveiled in Times Square in New York on Sunday at 12 p.m. and delivered to communities across the country, according to a leader of the New York BLM movement. Hawk Newsome spoke with Fox News about the “blueprint” of the group, and it’s frightening. He discussed having a force like the “Black Panthers or Nation of Islam” to help fight against the “war on the poor” and “anti-blackness.”

It’s interesting that Democrats and activists have suddenly been pushing to “Defund the Police” (see below) and now this? It’s almost like this is coordinated like everything else with the left.

The New York leader of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement made several stunning statements claiming the group will have an armed branch of “peace officers” in their war on the police.

After the death of George Floyd, the BLM New York chapter Chairman Newsome described in shocking terms  of plans to be like the Black Panthers by matching fire with fire:

“We’re talking about self-defense. We’re talking about defending our communities. You know what it’s like to see a taser pointed at a 7-year-old, you know what it’s like to see a 67-year-old black woman pepper-sprayed and pushed to the ground?”

“We are preparing and training our people to defend our communities.”

Newsome said there was a meeting where BLM discussed a “pathway forward” where a plan called “Black Opts” will help to liberate black people:

“We have black Special Forces officers advising us, and we will teach and train people in our communities, the Black Opts department of Black Opportunities.”

Newsome confirmed that BLM “peace officers” would be armed and open carry guns.

“We pattern ourselves after the Black Panthers, after the Nation of Islam, we believe that we need an army to defend ourselves. We will build and train peace officers to keep the peace in our communities, to defend our communities, to keep our communities safe.”

Newsome spoke of the “war on the poor” and “anti-blackness”:

“When we start talking about black opportunities and building our war chest to defend ourselves from the war on the poor. .. to defend ourselves against the war that is anti-blackness in America, then people will have to meet a certain criteria.”

THE “DEFUND THE POLICE” MOVEMENT IS SPREADING TO DEMOCRATIC-RUN CITIES:

The “Defund the Police” movement has been gaining steam on social media. Notable Democrats and even Hillary Clinton’s former press secretary got in on promoting the movement:

The Minneapolis City Council is all for it, and Hollywood celebrities are also pushing for a ban on law enforcement.

It’s hard to believe, but with the move in Blue states to a “light touch” on criminals and now the George Floyd case, it’s believable. That “soft touch” didn’t work out very well for Democrats during the riots, but the left still wants the cops gone. Even though about 10k people have been arrested across the country during the riots, many of those have been released with no bail due to the “light touch” on enforcement.

Hollywood leftists have been outspoken on the movement by signing a “Defund the Police” letter:

Screen Shot 2020-06-25 at 5.30.07 PM

After Hillary Clinton’s former press secretary tweeted out about the movement today, he’s been slammed on social media:

The movement is getting pushback from notable people. James Woods advised the “Defund the Police” supporters to opt-out of protection from the police:

Screen Shot 2020-06-25 at 5.31.57 PM

Senator Ted Cruz:

Screen Shot 2020-06-25 at 5.32.52 PM

Now we have a move by Black Lives Matter to have “peace officers” running around enforcing against the police. A spokesperson for the effort described their purpose:

“We pattern ourselves after the Black Panthers, after the Nation of Islam, we believe that we need an arm to defend ourselves, We will build and train peace officers to keep the peace in our communities, to defend our communities, to keep our communities safe.”

One like Black Panthers, Nation of Islam, and the other our police force. Frightening.

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS IT RIGHT:

“The Radical Left Democrats’ new theme is “Defund the Police”. Remember that when you don’t want Crime, especially against you and your family. This is where Sleepy Joe is being dragged by the socialists. I am the complete opposite, more money for Law Enforcement!” – PRESIDENT TRUMP

Girlfriend of Man Who Flew “White Lives Matter” Banner Fired From Her Job

She rejected “intensive racial sensitivity training.”

By Paul Joseph Watson – 6/24/2020

The girlfriend of the man who flew a “white lives matter” banner over a football match in the UK has been fired from her job after refusing to take “intensive racial sensitivity training.”

The banner was seen trailing behind a plane over Manchester City’s Etihad stadium on Monday before the club’s Premier League game with Burnley.

It provoked widespread condemnation and a police investigation, although authorities subsequently concluded that no criminal offense had been committed.

The person responsible for the banner, Burnley fan Jamie Hepple, faced a social media witch hunt although he responded with a Facebook post that said, “I’d like to take this time to apologise… TO ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOBODY!”

However, after a Twitter mob discovered the employment details of his girlfriend Megan, she was fired by Solace Foot Health and Reflexology simply for being guilty by association.

A statement released by the company said they were “willing to try to help Megan by paying for Intensive Racial Sensitivity training” but that Megan had evidently refused to be re-educated and would rather leave, meaning she was effectively fired for being the boyfriend of a man who thinks “white lives matter.”

The hate mob also obviously discovered that Jamie Hepple’s mother Jill had changed her maiden name but was also connected to the thought criminal.

Solace stressed that Hepple’s mother doesn’t condone her son’s actions so she presumably gets to keep her director job, at least for the time being.

This story once again emphasizes how Twitter and Facebook have just become giant doxxing platforms abused by hate mobs to ruin the lives of people who refuse to cower to political correctness.

Meanwhile, Cambridge Professor Priyamvada Gopal, who tweeted, “white lives don’t matter,” gets to keep her job.

“Presumably a statue has been proposed for her?” asked the Twitter account Hope Not Hate Exposed.

ANTIFA DOC REVEALS ORGANIZED WARFARE TACTICS IN SIEGE OF POLICE PRECINCT

‘What we’re dealing with is more than a mere unruly mob… It’s a well-planned rebellion playing out on the streets of urban America’

Antifa Doc Reveals Organized Warfare Tactics in Siege of Police Precinct

Luis Miguel | The New American – JUNE 22, 2020

Never underestimate your enemy.

The mainstream media would have us believe that the protests and riots that have swept the nation after the death of George Floyd are spontaneous demonstrations whose large turnouts validate the notion that the ideas they argue for— such as abolishing the police — are widely popular.

The average American does not have a full understanding of how much time and money it takes to pull off mass organization such as the one currently taking place. But at The New American, we have long reported on the vast amount of money and institutional resources being poured into Black Lives Matter and Antifa by global elites such as George Soros.

That these radical insurrectionists are so highly funded, organized, and armed should be a cause for concern among Americans and inspire patriots to greater involvement in the well-being of their local communities.

Nevertheless, many continue to write off Antifa, BLM, and other left-wing revolutionary groups as nothing more than unorganized college kids who, should they turn violent, could swiftly be dealt with by a lone gun-toting patriot.

Yet reality presents a far different picture. A recently published document by rioters in Minneapolis who successfully ran police out of the Third Precinct reveals an understanding of the principles of fourth-generation warfare, along with a well-honed level of coordination.

In short, what we’re dealing with is more than a mere unruly mob. It’s a well-planned rebellion playing out on the streets of urban America.

Published at the blog CrimethInc, which describes itself as a “rebel alliance” and a “think tank” for “anonymous collective action,” the article is titled “The Siege of the Third Precinct in Minneapolis: An Account and Analysis.”

“In this anonymous submission, participants in the uprising in Minneapolis in response to the murder of George Floyd explore how a combination of different tactics compelled the police to abandon the Third Precinct,” reads a summary of the breakdown, whose author remains anonymous.

The author explains that the key to their victory over police was the combination of violent members of the “crowd” with nonviolent ones, the latter giving the former cover to attack police while making law-enforcement officers hesitant to hit back with lethal force:

We call the battles of the second and third days at the Precinct a siege because the police were defeated by attrition. The pattern of the battle was characterized by steady intensification punctuated by qualitative leaps due to the violence of the police and the spread of the conflict into looting and attacks on corporate-owned buildings. The combination of the roles listed above helped to create a situation that was unpoliceable, yet which the police were stubbornly determined to contain. The repression required for every containment effort intensified the revolt and pushed it further out into the surrounding area. By Day Three, all of the corporate infrastructure surrounding the Third Precinct had been destroyed and the police had nothing but a “kingdom of ashes” to show for their efforts. Only their Precinct remained, a lonely target with depleted supplies. The rebels who showed up on Day Three found an enemy teetering on the brink. All it needed was a final push.

As the author noted, the radicals’ goal was to stir the police to violence: “It’s important to note that the dynamic we saw on Day Two did not involve using non-violence and waiting for repression to escalate the situation. Instead, a number of individuals stuck their necks out very far to invite police violence and escalation.”

But once officers moved to engage, the mob employed their “peaceful” members to discourage reprisal, “interrupting police violence with strategically deployed ‘innocence’ (‘Hands up! Don’t shoot!’).”

The analysis goes on to relate that the crowd learned to quickly deal with tear gas by setting up eye-flushing stations with the help of on-scene medics. Once they learned that concussion grenades are not physically harmful if one is more than five feet away from them, the crowd remained calm when confronted by that type of weapon.

The insurrectionists also used looting as a battle tactic. “Looters can help feed and heal the crowd while simultaneously disorienting the police. In turn, those going head to head with the police can generate opportunities for looting,” the article reads.

“Employing stores of looted bottled water, many people in the crowd were able to learn and quickly execute eye-flushing,” it states about their response to tear gas.

Of course all this ignores the biggest weapon in their arsenal: Sympathizers in the government who keep the police from taking decisive action against them.

The analysis closes with a section titled “Visions of the Commune,” a description of the agitators’ reveling in the mayhem they created:

As the police made their retreat, a young Somali woman dressed in traditional garb celebrated by digging up a landscaping brick and unceremoniously heaving it through a bus stop shelter window. Her friends — also traditionally dressed — raised their fists and danced.

A masked shirtless man skipped past the burning Precinct and pumped his fists, shouting, “COVID IS OVER!” while twenty feet away, some teenage girls took a group selfie. Instead of saying “Cheese!” they said “Death to the pigs!” Lasers flashed across the smoke-filled sky at a police helicopter overhead.

A young kid who couldn’t be more than seven or eight years old walked up to us with a whiskey bottle sporting a rag coming out the top. “Y’all got a light?” We laughed and asked, “What do you wanna hit?” He pointed to a friendly grocery store and we asked if he could find “an enemy target.” He immediately turned to the US Bank across the street.

If the nation’s patriots don’t cease their underestimation of the Marxsist revolutionaries and rise to the occasion, the “Commune” will soon come to every neighborhood in America.
