I am still trying to figure out why reporters, who are caught blatantly lying, are not held accountable.

Castroâs remarks came during NPRâs âOff Scriptâ series with host Lulu Garcia-Navarro, where he was questioned on an array of subjects including his campaign and impeachment.
âI believe that Trump is trying to do to Joe Biden what he did to Hillary Clinton, that heâs trying to take a public servant that has served honorably over the years and muddy their reputation with false accusations that, in this case, have been investigated,â Castro told Garcia-Navarro.
âI disagree with Vice President Biden on immigration, on health care, as people saw at the last debate, and a number of other issues,â Castro added. âBut I believe that heâs fundamentally an honest and honorable man.â
The interview then shifted towards impeachment, and Castro was asked whether he believed âitâs the best thing for the country.â
âWell, I believe the best thing for the country would be not only impeachment, but removal,â Castro replied. âThis president has violated his oath of office. He has abused his power. People can read that in that transcript.â
Castro then claimed Trump had used his position as president to âboost himselfâ and his own interests.
âIn unprecedented ways, he has used the office of the presidency to boost himself and put his own self-interest above the national interest,â Castro asserted. âHow much more evidence do people need that this man should not be anywhere near the Oval Office?â
Later in the interview, Castro was pressed on poor polling numbers for his campaign out of Nevada.
âThe most recent poll in Nevada showed not good news for you,â Garcia-Navarro told Castro. âYou did not have great numbers â in fact, close to 0%. Itâs a state with a lot of Latinos. Thatâs got to have hurt to see that you didnât do as well as you may have hoped.â
Castro responded and claimed, âNevada has gotten very little attention.â
âBut is it sending a signal to you that perhaps it might be time to move on to something else?â Garcia-Navarro asked Castro.
âNot at all. Not at all,â Castro responded. âWe have four months until Iowa votes and 4 1/2 months until Nevada caucuses. And so weâre going to keep working hard in this campaign.â

Two of the six separate bills would prohibit the federal government from denying welfare benefits to illegal immigrants and convicted felons. The legislation would also control the rate of yearly rent increases for housing, restructure federal poverty guidelines, and introduce a variety of new factors to determine how federal contracts will be awarded.
Perhaps even more controversial than allowing illegal immigrants to collect welfare, the legislation would seemingly establish health care, housing, and access to healthy food as government-provided rights. Unsurprisingly, Republicans have condemned the legislation.
Warren, however, isnât backing down from her support of the proposal. âItâs going to take big, structural change to tackle poverty and inequality in the U.S., and [AOCâs] âA Just Societyâ is just the type of bold, comprehensive thinking weâll need to get it done,â Warren wrote on Twitter.

âWhen the only American citizen President Trump singles out for Chinaâs investigation is his political opponent in the midst of the Democratic nomination process, it strains credulity to suggest that it is anything other than politically motivated,â Romney wrote on Twitter. âBy all appearances, the Presidentâs brazen and unprecedented appeal to China and to Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden is wrong and appalling.â

The Never Trump lawmakerâs comments come after President Trump said Thursday that China should investigate Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, for alleged corruption.
âChina should start an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is just about as bad as Ukraine,â the president told reporters outside the White House ahead of a visit to Florida to deliver remarks on health care.
As Breitbart News extensively reported, Hunter Bidenâs investment firm secured a $1.5 billion investment deal with the Bank of China after traveling with his father on Air Force Two to the country in 2013.
Further, President Trump re-upped his call for Ukraine to look into the Biden familyâs dealings in the eastern European country.
He repeated his call for Ukraine to investigate the Bidens when reporters asked him again what he thought Ukranian officials should do with Biden, saying, âI would think that if they were honest about it, they would start a major investigationâ into the former second family.
As Breitbart News reported earlier this year:
Biden forced out former Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin as he was investigating an energy company called Burisma Holdings, which was paying Biden handsomely as a member of its board. The former vice president even boasted to the Council of Foreign Relations last year that he had threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless the prosecutor was fired. (He did not tell the audience about his sonâs role.)
âNobody has any doubt that they werenât crooked; that was a crooked deal 100 percent,â said the president.

Pelosi claimed that Trump could do âirreparableâ damage to the United States, which could indicate that globalists fear the president is effectively dismantling their agenda.
Asked by Good Morning America anchor and Democrat operative George Stephanopoulos whether she would continue moving towards impeachment if it affected Trumpâs re-election bid positively, Pelosi claimed she harbored no politically biased motives.
âBut I will say this,â Pelosi continued. âThe re-election of President Donald Trump would do irreparable damage to the United States. We have some serious repair and healing to do in our country for what heâs done so far. Iâm not sure â two terms, it might be irreparable.â
In the same interview, Pelosi was asked if Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) had run afoul when he recited a âparody transcriptâ of a phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a Congressional hearing last week.
âI want the American people to know what that phone call was about, I want them to hear it â so yeah, itâs fair,â Pelosi said. âItâs sad. Itâs using the presidentâs own words.â
Stephanopoulos interjected, saying, âThose werenât the presidentâs words, it was an interpretation of the presidentâs words. Theyâre saying he made this up.â
âHe didnât make it up,â Pelosi responded.
Schiff admitted to fabricating the phony transcript, saying, âMy summary of the presidentâs call was meant to be at least part in parody.â
President Trump has since insinuated Schiff may have committed treason, asking why he hasnât been âbrought up on charges for fraudulently making up a statement and reading it to Congress as if this statement, which was very dishonest and bad for me, was directly made by the President of the United States?â
