Democrat Lawmakers Vote to Impeach Trump in House Judiciary Committee in Party Line Political Vote

Democrat lawmakers voted for impeachment of President Trump on Friday morning in the House Judiciary Committee.

23 Democrats for impeachment
17 Republicans against impeachment

No witnesses were brought forth during the committee’s hearings on impeachment.
Only left-wing lawyers and professors were allowed to testify against President Trump.

On Friday Democrats voted along party lines to impeach President Trump on a complete sham.
No crimes were identified.

Marc Thiessen writes in the Washington Post: Washington Post column: “The impeachment articles are a vindication for Trump.”

Marc writes: “After three years in which Democrats accused President Trump of a host of criminal acts — from bribery and extortion to campaign finance violations, obstruction of justice, conspiracy and even treason — they have finally introduced articles of impeachment that allege no statutory crimes. In that alone, Trump can claim vindication.”

This comes on the same week Democrat Deep State operatives were caught spying on President Trump’s campaign and admininistration.
These people can burn in hell for what they did to this country.

Fusion GPS Founders Blame Russian Interference as Tories Dominate UK Elections

Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch have no shame.

By Shane Trejo

As the Conservative Party dominates Labour in the general elections, the founders of Fusion GPS wrote an op/ed for The Guardian warning of Russian interference in British politics and calling for a Mueller-esque witch hunt in the country to defeat the evil Rooskies.

“The British political system has become thoroughly compromised by Russian influence. It’s high time its institutions – including the media – woke up to that fact,” wrote Fusion GPS founders Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch.

Although they did not explicitly blame Russian interference on the Tories domination of Labour in Thursday’s elections, they were not shy about casting doubt on the nation’s entire electoral process. They called for Russian hysteria in Britain in order to cast a shadow over their political system as it has in America since Trump was elected President.

“In 2016, both the United Kingdom and the United States were the targets of Russian efforts to swing their votes,” they wrote.

“The efforts in both countries had much in common. They were aided by a transatlantic cast of characters loosely organised around the Trump and Brexit campaigns. Many of them worked in concert and interacted with Russians close to the Kremlin. The outcome in both countries was also eerily similar,” they added.

They even had the nerve to brag about their work with Christopher Steele, the British spy who once headed up MI6’s Russia desk. Steele produced the discredited dossier that was used as the basis for the Russian collusion investigation and has ultimately made a complete farce of the intelligence community.

“Our Washington-based research firm, Fusion GPS, conducted much of the early investigations into Russia’s support of the Trump campaign, aided by our colleague Christopher Steele, the former head of MI6’s Russia desk,” Simpson and Fritsch wrote.

“While our initial focus was on Russian meddling in US politics, it has since become increasingly clear that Britain’s political system has also been deeply affected by Russian influence operations,” they added.

Simpson and Fritsch urge bureaucrats in the British government to leak information similar to what has been done by the U.S. deep state in order to create another neo-McCarthyist panic.

“Many US institutions have shown more backbone and independence than their UK counterparts,” they wrote. “Some of those who served in the Trump administration, such as the British-born Fiona Hill and Lt Col Alexander Vindman, have been willing to stand up in public and tell the truth, despite intimidation from the president and his allies. In the UK, the courageous whistleblowers needed to expose Russian influence have yet to emerge.”

They concluded with a warning that the evil Russian President Vladimir Putin may come for the conservatives next, so everyone must come together for a new senseless witch hunt in Britain.

“This is the biggest danger we face: that we cannot escape our partisanship long enough to face down our common enemy. Putin is not a Conservative; nor is he a Republican. The next time he interferes it could easily be in favour of their political opponents. Britain’s institutions must wake up to the Russian threat before Putin seriously damages the country’s centuries-old democracy,” Simpson and Fritsch wrote.

Editors for The Guardian should be ashamed of themselves for publishing this op/ed filled with asinine conspiracy theories written by these disgraced and disreputable political hacks.

WATCH: Journalist Caught Spying on Congressional Papers During Impeachment Hearing Recess

The fake news got caught red handed.

By Shane Trejo

During an adjournment of today’s impeachment hearing in the House Judiciary Committee, a member of the fake news media can be seen taking photographs of potentially sensitive intelligence.

Capitol police stood nearby and did nothing as this journalist photographed Congressional papers related to the ongoing Democrat-led witch hunt against President Trump.

The dastardly deed was caught on video and can be seen here:

A final vote on the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump could come as early as Thursday night, as the House Judiciary Committee continues to argue about the language within the articles.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) proposed an amendment for the following language to be inserted into the articles of impeachment regarding foreign aid released to Ukraine: “The aid was released within days of Ukrainian President Zelenskiy signing two major anti-corruption measures into law, convincing President Trump that the new Ukrainian administration was serious about reform measures, and consistent with Administration policy to ensure foreign aid is not used for corrupt purposes.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) proposed that “Joe Biden” be replaced with “Burisma and Hunter Biden” in his proposed amendment to the article of impeachment referencing President Trump’s supposed abuse of power.

“This amendment strikes the reference to Joe Biden as the center of the proposed investigation and replaces it with the true topic of the investigation: Burisma and Hunter Biden,” Gaetz said in reference to the Ukrainian gas firm that once paid off the former vice president’s son.

“An essential element of the Democrats’ case on abuse of power is that the Bidens did nothing wrong. It can only be an abuse of power and not a correct use of power if the president was pursuing something under which there was no reasonable basis to ask a question about Hunter Biden and Burisma,” he added.

“Working for some foreign government while your dad’s the vice president of the United States. Is there anyone who believes this is OK?” Gaetz continued.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) tore into Article 1 , which claims that the President tried to coerce the Ukrainian government into subverting an election.

“This strikes Article 1 because Article 1 ignores the truth. Four facts, five meetings. We’ve known there have been four facts that have not changed, will not change, will never change and we’ve known it since September 25th when the call transcript was released,” Jordan says. “It shows no quid pro quo. What’s interesting is the day the transcript came out, even chairman Nadler said there was no quid pro quo in the transcript,” Jordan said.

“Article 1 in this resolution ignores the truth, the facts. It ignores what happened and what has been laid out for the American people over the last three weeks. So I hope that this committee will come to its senses, that it will adopt the amendment and strike article 1 from the resolution,” he added.

President Trump is also hammering Congressional Democrats for lying about what he said in his transcript with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy:

The impeachment farce is going very poorly for Democrats, which may be why they have their fake news goons collecting intel.

Eric Holder Sends Warning to John Durham, Says William Barr ‘Unfit’ to be Attorney General, in WaPo Op-Ed

by Kristinn Taylor

Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder sent a chilling message in a very public way to U.S. Attorney John Durham–the man investigating abuses by the FBI and Justice Department against President Trump and members of his administration and campaign in the Russia-election investigation–warning Durham he is risking his reputation.

Holder wrote an op-ed published Wednesday night by the Washington Post calling current Attorney General William Barr “unfit” to serve as attorney general. The threat to Durham iss buried in the op-ed, but jumps out like a dagger thrust from the dark.

…As a former line prosecutor, U.S. attorney and judge, I found it alarming to hear Barr comment on an ongoing investigation, led by John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, into the origins of the Russia probe. And as someone who spent six years in the office Barr now occupies, it was infuriating to watch him publicly undermine an independent inspector general report — based on an exhaustive review of the FBI’s conduct — using partisan talking points bearing no resemblance to the facts his own department has uncovered.

When appropriate and justified, it is the attorney general’s duty to support Justice Department components, ensure their integrity and insulate them from political pressures. His or her ultimate loyalty is not to the president personally, nor even to the executive branch, but to the people — and the Constitution — of the United States.

Career public servants at every level of the Justice Department understand this — as do leaders such as FBI Director Christopher A. Wray and Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Their fidelity to the law and their conduct under pressure are a credit to them and the institutions they serve.

Others, like Durham, are being tested by this moment. I’ve been proud to know John for at least a decade, but I was troubled by his unusual statement disputing the inspector general’s findings. Good reputations are hard-won in the legal profession, but they are fragile; anyone in Durham’s shoes would do well to remember that, in dealing with this administration, many reputations have been irrevocably lost.

This is certainly true of Barr, who was until recently a widely respected lawyer. I and many other Justice veterans were hopeful that he would serve as a responsible steward of the department and a protector of the rule of law.

Holder closes with his statement that Barr is ‘unfit’. His case is totally based on policy differences and his claimed understanding of the nature of the job, which is odd considering Holder once called himself Obama’s “wingman” when he served as his attorney general and called Obama “my boy”: “I’m still the President’s wing-man, so I’m there with my boy.”

Virtually since the moment he took office, though, Barr’s words and actions have been fundamentally inconsistent with his duty to the Constitution. Which is why I now fear that his conduct — running political interference for an increasingly lawless president — will wreak lasting damage.

The American people deserve an attorney general who serves their interests, leads the Justice Department with integrity and can be entrusted to pursue the facts and the law, even — and especially — when they are politically inconvenient and inconsistent with the personal interests of the president who appointed him. William Barr has proved he is incapable of serving as such an attorney general. He is unfit to lead the Justice Department.

Barr, 69, is serving as attorney general a second time–the first during the presidency of George H.W. Bush. Barr is at the peak of his profession and is immune to Holder’s criticism.

Durham, on the other hand, while also Barr’s age, has been a career assistant U.S. attorney who was promoted by President Trump to U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut in 2017 after 35 years of service there. Holder’s message to Durham is clear, play ball or face ruin.

Durham’s statement that so “troubled” Holder:

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

Why would Holder find that statement so troubling that he would send a warning to Durham via the Washington Post? Holder knows very well what he is doing with his carefully worded threat and should know better than to warn or threaten a prosecutor–but the Deep State and its corrupt actors must be protected and “wingman” Holder has a job to do.

UPDATE: Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.) understands, “Did Eric Holder obstruct justice in this threat to US Atty Durham?
“Good reputations are hard-won in the legal profession, but they are fragile; anyone in Durham’s shoes would do well to remember …”

Jerry Nadler: “We Cannot Rely on an Election to Solve Our Problems” — Must Remove Trump Now (VIDEO)

Democrat Judiciary Chari Jerry Nadler (D-NY) opened his committee impeachment hearing on Wednesday night saying, “We cannot rely on an election to solve our problems.”

Americans cannot be trusted to do the right thing and elect a Democrat.
So that’s why they are pushing this sham impeachment.

FOX News reported:

“We cannot rely on an election to solve our problems, when the president threatens the very integrity of that election,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said in his opening statement, claiming Trump’s discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about Joe and Hunter Biden’s dealings in the country, and the White House’s temporary withholding of military aid to Ukraine, constituted an “urgent” threat to national security.

“This committee now owes it to the American people to give these articles careful attention,” Nadler added at the beginning of the markup for the impeachment articles, which included obstruction of Congress and abuse of power.
