A Democrat harassed a Trump supporter at a restaurant in DC for wearing a MAGA hat then claimed it was wrong he got kicked out because he was merely “standing up to a Nazi”.
Yes, really.
“Just got thrown out of Hill Country DC for standing up to a Nazi. Don’t go there ever again. They support Trump and Nazis,” tweeted self-proclaimed “progressive communicator” TJ Helmstetter.
Helmstetter then explained how after seeing the man’s MAGA hat he told him, “We don’t tolerate racism in this city”.

Guy wears MAGA hat at my favorite restaurant. I say “hey are you from dc?” He says “no.” I say “we don’t tolerate racism in this city.” His girlfriend then physically jabs fingers into my chest and starts threatening me. Management tells me to leave, not woman who assaulted me.

The Trump supporter’s girlfriend then physically confronted Helmstetter, who was asked to leave by management.
Helmstetter immediately assumed the moral high ground because the benchmark for what qualifies as a “Nazi” these days (amongst hysterical morons) is expressing support for the President of the United States.
“This individual seems to believe that everyone who voted for Trump, 63 million fellow citizens, is a Nazi,” commented Michael Tracey. “That’s incredibly corrosive to social cohesion. And of course, the current rhetoric around “concentration camps” reinforces this incendiary belief.”

“No, you accosted a guy wearing a #MAGA hat who wasn’t bothering anyone, his girlfriend told you to get lost, and @HillCountryWDC management made a great call and kicked you out for harassing their customers,” remarked John Cardillo.

Thanks to the media radicalizing the left, we now live in a society where many leftists actually think half the voting population of America are literal “Nazis” because they hold different political views.
David Wohl summed it up best.
“Never-Trumper liberal gets his ass kicked by a woman and thrown out of a restaurant. Awesome. Totally awesome.”

The ‘Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft’ will oppose Washington’s “endless wars” and will “challenge the basis of American foreign policy in a way that has not been done in at least the last quarter-century,” according to co-founder Trita Parsi.
With financier George Soros coming from the left (though he’s hardly a real leftist) and industrialist Charles Koch coming from the right, everyone is supposed to applaud the bipartisan nature of the initiative. The Boston Globe called it “one of the most remarkable partnerships in modern American political history” as though the two billionaire businessmen come from alternate universes.

The Globe notes that promoting an anti-war message is “radical notion,” given that nearly every major think tank in Washington currently promotes “some variant of neocon militarism or liberal interventionism.”
To give credit where it’s due, this really is a radical notion — and the more the anti-war narrative begins to trickle into the mainstream, the better. If the Quincy Institute does what it says on the tin, most genuine anti-war activists and readers won’t quibble too much about where the think tank got its start-up cash. Soros and Koch have thrown $500,000 each into the pot.
Who checks the fact-checkers? Facebook leaves verification to groups funded by Soros, US Congress

Named after John Quincy Adams, who declared in 1821 that the US “goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy” but is the “well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all” and the “champion and vindicator only of her own,” the think tank will offer a platform to both progressive voices and anti-interventionist conservatives.
The Globe writes that this will mean its writers will “likely” advocate for things like pulling US troops out of Afghanistan and Syria, putting an end to regime change wars and “less confrontational” policies toward China and Russia.
The problem here is not the concept. It’s just a question of whether or not the venture can actually be taken seriously when Soros and Koch’s fingerprints are already all over the world’s current endless wars, conflicts and regime changes.
Take some well-known Soros-funded think tanks; the Center for American Progress and the Atlantic Council, for example. They haven’t exactly been the biggest peace-pushers in the think tank world. The AC also received funding from a slew of arms manufacturers, so you’d be hard-pressed to find any anti-war sentiment there. Soros has also been linked to the “pro-democracy” European group Avaaz, which has advocated for no-fly zones in Libya and agitated for regime change in Venezuela and Iran.
In 2017, the Soros-funded ‘European Values’ think tank smeared 2,327 people as “useful idiots” for Russia for merely appearing on RT, in a McCarthyist-style attack on anyone deemed not to be sufficiently compliant with prevailing Western narratives.
Koch too has been linked to havoc-wreaking policies everywhere from Iraq to Venezuela. Despite supposedly opposing the Iraq war, independent journalist Caitlin Johnstone notes that Koch has been a major donor to the neoconservative American Enterprise Institute, whose members are considered leading architects of the invasion.
The Quincy Institute is slated to launch in September and until it gets off the ground, it will be impossible to declare a final judgement on its work — but given that organizations funded by Soros and Koch have spouted war-promoting propaganda to serve the US imperialist agenda for years, it’s a little difficult to see this sudden change of heart as entirely genuine.

From The Hill:
One-third of Americans say the news media is “the enemy of the people,” according to a new Hill-Harris X poll survey.
The poll, released Monday, found that the sentiment is strongest among Republican voters. According to the survey, 51 percent of Republicans polled said they thought of the press as “the enemy of the people” compared with 14 percent of Democrats and 35 percent of independents who said the same.
A majority of all respondents overall signaled support for the press, with 67 percent saying that the “news media is an important part of a democracy.”
Truly hilarious wording for that last line. Most people “support” the press because they think that the “news media is an important part of a democracy.”
I believe the news media is an important part of democracy but am aware as a matter of record that the controlled media is literally the enemy of the people. They view themselves as our enemy and act as an occupying force working to subdue any plebs who dare to fall out of line.

Recognizing the reality of the situation doesn’t mean you’re against “the press” in its entirety, it means you’re informed.
Among those surveyed, respondents were most closely divided on the issue in rural areas. Forty-six percent of rural Americans said they believed the news media to be the “enemy of the people,” compared with 54 percent of those who said the news media is a crucial part of democracy.
Our media is now mostly dedicated to lobbying for alternative media to be deplatformed, doxing dissidents and ruining random people’s lives for crimes against liberal orthodoxy.

They’re at the point now where they’re demanding everyone who make fun of Democrats be doxed, fired from their jobs and even criminally prosecuted.

If anyone doesn’t realize this is a hostile enemy force then they’re not paying attention.

The video posted by Sanders’ account is a spoof of original footage of a harrowing incident in which left-wing activist Thomas DiMassimo, 22, attempted to charge candidate Trump during an event in Dayton, Ohio, just days after DiMassimo had reportedly stated his desire to become a “martyr” on social media.
“Want to really scare Trump? Help us show the strength of our campaign to defeat him—chip in before our fundraising deadline at midnight at the link in bio. #bernie2020,” Sanders wrote in the video caption.
Sanders’ copy of the video depicts the socialist senator in a well-known meme context, seated in a chair as he mimics the ‘monster’ he portrays for his grandchildren at Halloween.
At the time of the 2016 incident, Secret Service quickly surrounded a Trump amid fears of a possible assassination attempt after DiMassimo jumped a barrier and attempted to mount the speaking platform.
“Thank you for the warning,” Trump said after the threat was neutralized. “I was ready for him, but it’s much easier if the cops do it, don’t we agree?”
DiMassimo would go on to tell the Dayton Daily News that he had no regrets about his actions, implying that more should have followed his example.
“I think a better question to ask all of the people who consider themselves more on the left side of issues… and are anti-Trump (is) ‘Do I stand by all that I didn’t do?’” DiMassimo said. “Because maybe if there were, like, 10 more (people like me) in every city, willing to rush through that barrier, we wouldn’t have to talk about (Trump’s) first two months.”
“So that people in their mind could think, wow, someone’s willing to hurt this man for the things he’s saying and the things he’s doing,” DiMassimo continued. “Not that I would. But I think that’s healthy (for people to consider).”

After a weekend of violence in Portland that resulted in independent journalist Andy Ngo being hospitalized with a brain hemorrhage and another man, Kelly, left with a fractured skull after being bashed with a metal pipe, the publication VDARE believes it has identified the man who struck Kelly.
VDARE first asked for help in identifying a suspect, who they say committed “attempted murder with a deadly weapon.” In a follow up tweet, VDARE wrote “Suspect Identified: Joseph Christian Evans,” adding “Seen during Portland #Antifa Riot Assaulting Adam Kelly over the head with a metal pipe sending him to the Emergency Room.”

This attack happened during the same event at which Ngo was assaulted.
“I just got beat up by the crowd,” Ngo said in Periscope video, with cuts and bruises on his face. “No police at all. In the middle of the street – and they stole my GoPro. And they punched me several times in my face and head. I’m bleeding.”
Milkshakes and other materials were also tossed on Ngo during the scuffle.
Finally, what appear to be paramedics showed up to ask Ngo if he was all right. He complained to them about the lack of police presence, but they shrugged off his complaints.
This violent clash resulted in a new spate of interest in Antifa, especially after Antifa members made threats against the Demand Free Speech rally planned for July 6 in Washington, D.C.
Big League Politics reported that the July 6 event was threatened with attack using acid, wax, and balloons, with the person who made the threats on social media revealing his desire to maim and blind attendees.
The threats were made on a popular right wing Telegram channel. A user with the name “POUND ON YOUR BOY” made several threats against the rally, prompting co-organizer Enrique Tarrio to contact the FBI and DHS, who are now planning to provide additional security to the event.
Over the course of about 10 minutes last night, the “POUND ON YOUR BOY” account asked how the D.C. event is “coming along”, and referenced muriatic acid multiple times.
“I just want to toss as many balloons of Muriatic acid in the faces as many Proud Boys I can [sic]”, wrote the user, “I just want to blind as many of you c**k suckers are possible [sic].”
The recent violence resulted in a petition on the White House petition portal, demanding the Department of Homeland Security consider Antifa a domestic terrorist organization.

The vicious assault was even more brutal than that sustained by Andy Ngo, who was doused with quick drying cement hidden in milkshakes.
“Portland Antifa beats an elderly man bloody with a crowbar. As another man attempts to help, he is hit in head with crowbar then sprayed in face with mace,” tweeted the woman who posted the video.
Conservative commentator Michelle Malkin subsequently revealed that the two men were named Adam and John and were merely at the event to support Haley Adams, who was previously assaulted by Antifa.
“While John was being pummeled by the mob in the center, Adam was struck in the head with nunchucks, metal water bottles, some sort of metal rod, and fists,” said Malkin. “John was sprayed with mace and blinded. He was led away as blood dripped down his face, then dragged to a sidewalk. Another observer notes that one of Adam’s attackers appears to wield something like a sock and padlock.”

“Both John & Adam were beaten by Antifa after trying to help a gay man in a sun dress being chased down the street,” she added. “While the cowards are masked, John and Adam faced the crowds openly and agreed to be named publicly. “I’m not afraid,” John told me.”

Photos later posted of Adam at the ER show him with deep gashes in his head that required 25 stitches.

According to Malkin, police have opened an investigation into the attack, with Adam blaming “feckless Ted Wheeler,” the Mayor of Portland, for allowing the violence to take place.

“Adam referred the cops to John’s case, but no cops responded to John, contacted him, or came to hospital where he was treated. Adam, who was worked in pvt security, notes that the precinct is 130 officers short because no one wants to work for Portland PD,” said Malkin.
One of the suspects in the attack was identified as Joseph Christian Evans.

Will the same leftists who justified the milkshake/cement attack on Ngo now defend Antifa literally clubbing elderly men in the head?
