‘Clinton Body Count’ trends on Twitter, establishment blames Russia

CAP

Americans waking up to check Twitter were greeted with the trending hashtag “#ClintonBodyCount.” Referencing a long-running conservative conspiracy theory, its re-emergence has of course been blamed on ‘Russian bots.’

The hashtag is familiar to anyone immersed in the murkier ends of American right-wing culture: think late night talk radio and dog-eared copies of ‘None Dare Call it Conspiracy’ passed around backwoods militia meetings.

Coined by writer and conspiracy theorist Danny Casolaro in the late 1980s, the phrase has since been used by conservatives to link the mysterious deaths of people in some way connected to Bill and Hillary Clinton, like the 1993 suicide of White House Deputy Counsel Vince Foster, and the fatal armed robbery of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich in 2016.

Jeffrey Epstein found ‘injured & semiconscious’ with suspicious marks on neck in jail cell

Adding to the mystery, Casolaro himself committed suicide in 1991, while working on a story supposedly involving an international cabal.

The hashtag broke into the mainstream on Thursday, trending at number three in the US. Its emergence came after millionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein was found“injured and in a fetal position” on the floor of his New York jail cell just hours before. An associate of Bill Clinton, Epstein is currently facing up to 45 years in prison on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking, with some of his alleged victims as young as 14.

Twitter sleuths joined the dots:

To some, the hashtag had nothing to do with a decades-old right-wing horror story. To an army of establishment bugmen, its sudden reappearance was the work of, surprise, surprise – “Russian bots.” The Democrat version of the conspiracy theory goes that Russian President Vladimir Putin was so incensed by the knockout testimony given by former special counsel Robert Mueller on Wednesday that he cranked up the output of his “troll farms” and swamped Twitter with the hashtag as a distraction.

CAP

Except the hole in that theory is that no amount of sneaky Russian meddling is needed to distract from Mueller’s testimony. Stammering through answers, seemingly forgetting key details from his report, and declining to answer any questions outside its scope, Mueller did a pretty good job deflating the expectations of Democrats hoping for some new ‘Russiagate’ revelations.

With the left and the right fighting an infowar forcontrol of the hashtag, one commenter summed up the state of the debate. “#ClintonBodyCount is trending… Watch for people trying extra hard to convince you they know things they don’t today.”

HUGE LOSS: 70 House Democrats Refuse Media Appearance Following Mueller Debacle

The Democrats are hiding in shame after Mueller’s testimony before Congress.

By Shane Trejo

The Democratic Party took a huge loss yesterdayafter staging a hearing with FBI special investigator Robert Mueller before two Congressional committees. Unable to face the music following Mueller’s poor performance, 70 different House Democrats denied a media request.

Fox News anchor Shannon Bream issued a Tweet explaining how the Democrats were too scared to face the scrutiny after their spectacle backfired on them:

CAP

Mueller appeared confused and disheveled while giving his testimony, was unfamiliar with basic facts contained in his own report, and refused to answer simple questions regarding his investigation. Democrat dreams of impeaching Trump based on the contents of the Mueller report may have went up in smoke for good yesterday.

Republicans, including President Trump himself, are celebrating this political victory. They are making the rounds and pointing to Mueller’s testimony as more evidence that the Russian collusion investigation was a witch hunt from the start.

CAP

“It was a terrible day if you were a Democrat,” Former Republican South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy said while appearing on Fox News yesterday. “I do want to give them credit for this. They managed to have a hearing without calling a convicted felon as a witness. I don’t want us to overlook that.”

The fake news couldn’t even spin this one on behalf of the Democrats:

The Democrats can run from media appearances, but they cannot hide from the upcoming fallout with the voters in 2020. After Mueller was exposed in the public eye, the Democrats’ Russia canard will never carry the same weight with the American people.

Viral Video Shows Crazed Rashida Tlaib Being Dragged Out of Trump Campaign Event in 2016

-By Rusty Weiss

Apparently, Rep. Rashida Tlaib was a crazed lunatic long before her famous profanity-laced tirade vowing to pursue impeachment of President Trump on her first day in office.

A video has surfaced of the Michigan Democrat being forcibly dragged out of a Trump campaign event in 2016 by Secret Service agents. The video is every bit as unhinged as you might expect and then some.

Trending: Don’t Be Fooled: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ‘Republican’ Challenger Scherie Murray is a Democrat Plant

In the video, Tlaib can be seen repeatedly trying to break free of the grip of security members escorting her from the facility. She screams, “You guys are crazy!” at supporters of the soon-to-be President, seemingly unaware that she’s the one being hauled off due to her crazed behavior.

The congresswoman was joined by about a dozen women who tried to create a commotion during Trump’s speech at the Detroit Economic Club in August 2016.

Tlaib wrote about the incident in a column for the Detroit Free Press:

I told Trump that “our children deserve better” and I asked him to provide a better example to our kids. I implored him to read the U.S. Constitution. And then I was grabbed by several security personnel who physically moved me to the exit while I continued to express my concerns.

Of course, none of this bears out based on the video clip. Her essay insinuates she calmly ‘expressed my concerns’ about the Constitution and being a better example to kids. Not sure how ‘You guys are crazy!’ even comes close to that.

Tlaib lied. Huh. Who could have possibly guessed?

Impeach the MFer

It’s important to realize Tlaib was actually a state legislator at the time of this incident. The people of her district in Michigan thought her worthy of holding public office.

So much so that they sent her on to Congress in 2018.

And she didn’t let them down, demonstrating she was still that unhinged nut case she was in the 2016 video on her very first day as a Representative.

“When your son looks at you and says: ‘Momma, look, you won. Bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t,’” Tlaib told a crowd of adoring fans. “Because we’re going to go in there, and we’re going to impeach the motherf***er.”

What an absolute embarrassment for the state of Michigan.

Trump’s Response Was Epic

Another video surfacing during the speech in which Tlaib had a meltdown involves Trump’s response as she’s being carted off.

In that clip, the future President mocks the terrorist-sympathizing Tlaib as being a bit low-energy.

“I will say the Bernie Sanders people had far more energy and spirit,” he joked. “I will say that.”

Tlaib said last month that she gave every freshman in Congress a book on impeachingPresident Trump when she arrived in Washington, D.C., showing just how deep her derangement runs.

It also shows that on her one major platform as a congresswoman she has failed miserably. Watching his re-election in 2020 should be a lot of fun.

Trump Administration Rule Proposal Will Cut 3 Million Undeserving People Off Food Stamps

By Jeff Dunetz

The Trump administration is proposing a rule change that would cut up to 3.1 million people from the food stamp program, saving taxpayers $2.5 billion annually.

The revised regulation would require people who currently receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or TANF, to undergo a separate income review to determine if they are eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Currently, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) officials say, 43 states automatically allow their reside

“Some states are taking advantage of loopholes that allow people to receive the SNAP benefits who would otherwise not qualify and for which they are not entitled,” Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue revealed in a conference call.

“This proposal will save money and preserve the integrity of the program,” Perdue argued, adding that “SNAP should be a temporary safety net.”

Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) said the rule change is an attempt by the administration to “circumvent Congress and make harmful changes to nutrition assistance that have been repeatedly rejected on a bipartisan basis.”

The Trump administration has argued that a booming economy has helped lower the unemployment rate to full employment, making food stamp assistance less necessary.

When Barack Obama entered office in 2009, about 33 million Americans were enrolled in SNAP. By 2013, that number had shot upto 48 million, an indication of his awful economic programs.

On the other hand, because of his successful economic programs , two million Americans dropped from the food stamp program during Trump’s first year as President, which at that time was the lowest point in eight years.

The President announced earlier this month that “Food Stamp participation hits 10 year low,” a comment verified by left-leaning fact-checking website, Politifact.

During his State of the Union address, President Trump bragged about the roaring economy and its role in changing how more people are working instead of relying on food stamps.

“Wages are rising at the fastest pace if decades and growing for blue-collar workers who I promised to fight for, they’re growing faster than anyone else thought possible,” he said to uproarious applause. “Nearly five million Americans have been lifted off food stamps.”

Work is the most critical way to escape poverty. President Trump s proving that.

ERICA THOMAS HATE HOAX IMPLODES: WITNESS CLAIMS STATE REP. TOLD MAN “GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM” — NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!

Erica Thomas Hate Hoax Implodes: Witness Claims State Rep. Told Man “Go Back Where You Came From” -- Not The Other Way Around!

Democrat state rep’s narrative crumbles as more witnesses come forward

By Adan Salazar

A witness at the Publix supermarket where State Rep. Erica Thomas (D-Ga.) claims she experienced racism says she heard Thomas use the words “Go back where you came from,” but did not hear those words stated by the man Thomas is accusing.

A brief re-cap: Last week, Georgia lawmaker Erica Thomas filmed a video after claiming she was involved in a racist supermarket dispute at the Publix 10-item-or-less checkout line where she was confronted by shopper Eric Sparkes. Thomas says Sparkes allegedly told her to “Go back where you came from,” but she later retracted that claim, saying he said something along those lines.

Now a witness working at the store has told the Cobb County police the exact opposite happened – that she instead heard Thomas telling Sparkes to “Go back where you came from!” according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“A Publix employee told a Cobb County officer that she witnessed part of the conversation and heard Thomas ‘continuously tell Eric Sparkes to “Go back where you came from!”’ but did not hear Sparkes utter those words to Thomas,” the Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.

Sparkes admits he did indeed use profanity when confronting Thomas, calling her a “selfish little (expletive)” after she brought too many items into the express lane, but has denied telling her to “go back,” asserting he identifies as a Democrat also happens to be Hispanic.

In her initial video, which sparked the controversy, Thomas claimed she was confronted by a racist white man who used language similar to that used by President Trump in a recent tweet.

“This white man comes up to me and says, ‘You lazy son of (expletive). You need to go back where you came from,’” Thomas claimed, as she cried. “Sir, you don’t even know me. I’m not lazy. I’m nine months pregnant.”

Thomas later walked back those statements in an interview with local media: “He said, you know, ‘Go back,’ those types of words. I don’t wanna say he said, ‘Go back to your country,’ or ‘Go back to where you came from,’ but he was making those types of references.”

In the same interview she admitted she told Sparkes to “go back.”

Sparkes, who is of Cuban descent, has maintained Thomas was lying from the start and that he never told her to “Go back.”

“Her words stating on Twitter, and her video, stating I told her she needs to go back where she came from are untrue,” he said.

The incident has resurrected raw sentiments surrounding the Chicago hate hoax perpetrated by Empire actor Jussie Smollett, of whom Thomas was evidently a big fan.

Robert Mueller Squirms and Stammers Under Intense Questioning from Matt Gaetz

Gaetz made Mueller squirm while questioning him about Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele.

By Shane Trejo

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) blasted former FBI special investigator Robert Mueller during a Congressional hearing today before the House Judiciary Committee regarding Mueller’s unwillingness to address Fusion FPS and their dubious Christopher Steele dossier.

“Director Mueller, can you state with confidence that the Steele dossier was not part of Russia’s disinformation campaign?” Gaetz asked Mueller.

“Uhh ahh, I said, eeh uhh, in my opening statement, ehh uhh, that, uhh, part of the, ehh uhh, building of the case was predated me by at least ten months,” Mueller responded, struggling to spit out a coherent sentence.

“Yeah, and Paul Manafort’s alleged crimes regarding tax evasion predated you, and you had no problem charging him,” Gaetz retorted.

The pro-Trump legislator was just getting warmed up in taking Mueller to task for how he conducted his biased witch hunt.

“As a matter of fact, this Steele dossier predated the Attorney General, and he didn’t have any problem answering the question. When Sen. Cornyn asked the Attorney General the exact question I asked you, Director, the Attorney General said, and I’m quoting, ‘No, I can’t state that with confidence, and that’s one of the areas I’m reviewing. I’m concerned about it, and I don’t think it’s entirely speculative,’” Gaetz told Mueller.

“Now if something is not entirely speculative, then it must have some factual basis, but you identify no factual basis regarding the dossier or the possibility that it was apart of the Russia disinformation campaign,” he added.

Gaetz then began to delve into the details regarding the Steele dossier, which was produced by Fusion GPS via the law firm Perkins Coie funded with cash from the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and Democratic National Committee.

“Steele reported to the FBI that senior Russian foreign ministry figures, along with other Russians, told him that there was, and I’m quoting from the Steele dossier, ‘extensive evidence of conspiracy between the Trump campaign team and the Kremlin,’” Gaetz said.

“So here’s my question, did Russians really tell that to Christopher Steele or did he just make it all up and was he just lying to the FBI?” Gaetz asked Mueller.

Mueller resorted to his usual defense throughout the day’s questioning, in order to slither out of having to provide a direct answer.

“That’s beyond my purview,” Mueller responded.

Gaetz was not impressed by Mueller’s weasel tactics, and continued to drill him with the facts.

“No, it is exactly your purview, Director Mueller, and here’s why,” Gaetz said. “Only one of two things is possible, right, either, Steele made this whole thing up, and there were never any Russians telling him of this vast criminal conspiracy that you didn’t find, or Russians lied to Steele.”

“Now, if Russians were lying to Steele to undermine our confidence in our duly elected President, that would seem to be precisely your purview because you stated in your opening that the organizing principle was to fully and thoroughly investigate Russia’s interference, but you weren’t interested in whether or not Russians were interfering through Christopher Steele,” he added.

Gaetz’s smack down of Mueller can be viewed in full here:

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 3.22.26 PM

Mueller’s persistent confusion and inability to answer basic questions has many speculating that he was merely a figurehead, and was never responsible for the contents of his own report.

Jack Posobiec of One America News Network contends that the Mueller report was written by Department of Justice attorney Andrew Weissman, a member of Mueller’s team who has extensive ties to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 3.23.49 PM

Today has to be seen as a major victory for Republicans, led by Gaetz, who can now point to Mueller’s muddled testimony as more evidence that his investigation against President Trump regarding Russian collusion was a biased witch hunt.
