Giza Pyramid mystery chamber may hold Pharaoh’s ‘meteorite throne’

A huge void discovered inside the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt late last year may hold an iron throne carved from meteorites, according to new analysis of ancient religious texts.

Giulio Magli, Director of the Department of Mathematics and Professor of Archaeoastronomy at the Politecnico di Milano, studied the Pyramid Texts, religious writings carved into pyramid walls around 2400 BC. Based on his studies, Magli propose that it’s possible the throne of Pharaoh Khufu – or ‘Cheops’ – lies inside the chamber.

“Of course it would not be melted iron but meteoritic iron, that is, fallen from the sky in the form of iron meteorites and again cited in the Texts,” Magli says in his paper.

Explaining the structure of the pyramid, Magli states that before arriving at the funerary chamber there is a gallery. “The newly discovered room is over this gallery, but does not have a practical function of ‘relieving weight’ from it, because the roof of the gallery itself was already built with a corbelled technique for this very reason,” he explains in a statement.

So what was this room used for? Magli offers a possible interpretation that falls in line with existing knowledge on Egyptian funerary religion as documented in the Pyramid texts: “In these texts it is said that the pharaoh, before reaching the stars of the north, will have to pass the ‘gates of the sky’ and sit on his ‘throne of iron.’”

Within the Pyramid there are four narrow shafts which Magli suggests represent said ‘gates of the sky’, adding: “The north one could well lead into the newly discovered room, and may contain an object needed by Cheops after crossing the doors – the ‘iron throne.’”

According to the textual analysis, Cheops’ throne may be similar to that of his mother, Queen Hetepheres, but instead of gold it would be coated with meteoritic iron sheets.

It is believed ancient Egypt attributed great value to meteoritic iron for the production of ornamental or ceremonial objects. In 2016 it was confirmed that King Tut’s dagger originated from a meteorite. Meteoric iron is clearly indicated by its high nickel content.

Magli admits that his proposal is still just a theory, but says it’s one worth further exploration, suggesting a fresh investigation of the pyramid’s north shaft to determine if it does indeed lead into the newly-discovered
chamber.

Pelosi: No Dem counteroffer on border security

By Mike Lillis

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that House Democrats are not working behind the scenes to craft a counteroffer to President Trump’s border wall demands as a strategy for ending the history-making partial shutdown.

“That’s not true. That’s not true. That’s not true,” Pelosi said during a press briefing in the Capitol.
Instead, the Speaker asserted that Democrats’ strategic blueprint remains unchanged: The House will continue to pass spending bills already authored and endorsed by Republicans, while insisting that Trump reopen the government as the prerequisite for bringing Democrats to the negotiating table on his border wall.
“We are doing what we have been doing all along: working on our congressional responsibility to write bills, appropriations bills, to keep government open,” she said.
The remarks arrive as Democratic leaders are expected to release their own plan to bolster border security, to include enhanced surveillance technologies and reinforcement of existing physical barriers — but no new wall construction.
House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said Wednesday that the Democrats are prepared to match Trump’s figure of $5.7 billion for border security — with two stipulations: it can’t be used for new wall construction, and the negotiations must happen after the shutdown has ended.
“Using the figure that the president has put on the table, if his $5.7 billion is about border security then we see ourselves fulfilling that request, only doing what I like to call using a smart wall,” Clyburn told reporters after a Democratic caucus meeting. “These are the types of things that we are going to be putting forward.”
Pelosi on Thursday framed the Democrats’ emerging border security proposal — expected to be released as early as Thursday afternoon — as a standard part of the appropriations process.
“Many of those bills have come to the floor again and again, just this week. The Homeland Security Bill was not finished. Hopefully it will be finished soon, and out of that you will see our commitment to border security,” she said. “That’s not any negotiation behind the scenes, or anything like that.”
Pelosi declined to put a figure on the border security provisions to be included in the Department of Homeland Security bill, being spearheaded by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), who heads the Homeland Security Committee. But she emphasized that it will come in addition to other border-related funding already included in House-passed bills to to fund other agencies with a hand in security, including the Treasury, Justice and State departments.
“Within our $49 billion Homeland Security bill there will be some provisions,” she said.
Pelosi’s remarks highlight the disagreement at the crux of the shutdown standoff: Democrats are insisting the government be reopened as a condition of negotiating on the border wall; Republicans are demanding negotiations on the border wall as a condition of reopening the government.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said Wednesday that the Democrats “are prepared to spend a very substantial sum of money because we share the view that the borders need to be secure.”
But Hoyer, speaking for most Democrats, said there’s no “crisis” at the southern border, as Trump has insisted, and he amplified the party’s position that the Democrats will start negotiating new border security spending only after the government has been reopened, even if only temporarily.
“The letter is not a negotiation,” Hoyer said. “The letter is going to articulate what we believe is an effective investment to accomplish border security.”
Amid the standoff, Pelosi on Wednesday postponed Trump’s State of the Union address, initially scheduled for Jan. 29, citing the injustice of requiring federal law enforcement officials to secure the Capitol while they aren’t getting paid.
Trump late Wednesday acquiesced to the postponement.
“This is her prerogative,” he tweeted. “I will do the Address when the Shutdown is over.”
Pelosi on Thursday thanked Trump for assent, saying the fight over the speech was an unneeded distraction that’s “so unimportant in the lives of the American people.”
“Thank goodness we’ve put that matter to rest and that we can get on to the subject at hand: open up government, so we can negotiate how best to protect our borders,” she said.

Muslim Congresswoman Deletes Covington Catholic Tweet After Being Threatened with Libel Suit

By Peter D’Abrosca

notably anti-Christian congresswoman deleted a Tweet spreading the false narrative aired by the mainstream press regarding the interaction between several boys from Covington Catholic High School and proven liar Nathan Phillips, a Native American man.

“The boys were protesting a woman’s right to choose and yelled ‘it’s not rape if you enjoy it.’ They were taunting 5 Black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants. Sandmann’s family hired a right wing PR firm to write his non-apology,” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) said in a now-deleted Tweet from Tuesday night.

Among the problems with Omar’s Tweet is the fact that none of those things happened. Omar’s Tweet also came a full three days after the fake news narrative surrounding the incident was debunked by video evidence showing the full context of the exchange.

A prominent attorney, Robert Barnes, who is representing the Covington Catholic boys pro bono against those in the media who have libeled them, shot back at Omar.

“This is libel. Retract, or get sued,” Barnes said.

Omar got herself into some hot water for mocking Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith in December.

Big League Politics reported:

In another demonstration of why it’s never a good idea to elect radical extremists to political office in the United States, Minnesota Congresswoman elect Ilhan Omar, who is a Somali Muslim immigrant, took to twitter to mock Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith.

According to Twitter, you can’t post facts about Sharia Law, but if you’re a Muslim, you’re allowed to call for Jews to be exterminated, and you can say anything you want about Christians and Jews. Not only is Twitter actively enforcing Sharia law around the world, but Twitter is also giving a platform to jihadis and terrorist organizations like the Muslim BrotherhoodCAIR,  HamasLinda Sarsour, and 9/11 co-conspirator Siraj Wahhaj, just to name a few.

Someone on Omar’s staff must have alerted her to the fact that libeling teenagers is perhaps not the best optic, especially for a Freshman congresswoman. That she couldn’t figure that out for herself is troublesome in itself.

Most of the cable news networks have backed off their libelous coverage of the boys’ interaction with Phillips, but some, like NBC, are continuing to push the narrative even today.

Mayor Says She 'Did the Right Thing' Warning Illegal Aliens About ICE Raid

Anti-Trump Oakland mayor calls for abolishment of ICE

Infowars.com – DECEMBER 28, 2018

Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf claims having “no regrets” and insists she “did the right thing” when she warned illegals about an ICE raid.

Additionally, Schaaf said ICE should effectively be abolished as she demands the agency should start “from scratch,” Fox News reports:

“I have no regrets, none. The more time goes by, the more certain I feel that I did the right thing in standing up for our community and pointing out our values are not aligned with our laws,” Schaff told BuzzFeed in an interview. “That’s hopefully the message that is sent out.”

…According to ICE, following the mayor’s warning, 150 people were arrested for violating U.S. immigration laws in the San Francisco Bay Area, but nearly 900 illegal immigrants remained “at large in the community” as they couldn’t be arrested.

“What she did is no better than a gang lookout yelling ‘Police!’ when a police cruiser comes in the neighborhood, except she did it to a whole community,” then-acting ICE Director Thomas Homan told “Fox & Friends.”

The following is the Democrat mayor’s February tweet warning illegals about “potential ICE activity.”

Capture

Not long after Schaaf’s tip, President Trump slammed her as a “disgrace” while noting that 85% them were criminals.

Since then, a father of a teen killed by an illegal immigrant called out Schaff for endangering citizens, while adding that the death of Americans by illegals is “on her and people like her.”

“You know, it was just disgusting,” the father said. “Her job is to protect the citizens, the American citizens, you know. And for her to take a stand like that, she’s allowing Americans to be murdered.”
