Woman Brutalized and Hauled Out of Michigan Capitol by Security for Protesting Quarantine

The fight against tyranny is intensifying quickly.

Anti-quarantine protesters in Michigan are claiming that they were accosted by security personnel while protesting inside the Capitol against the shutdown that is crippling the state economy.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer has been the target of high-profile protests in recent weeks due to her restrictions on Michigan citizens. Her goons have hassled Michigan residents for boating, cited people for gathering outdoors in private backyards, and put thousands of small businesses out of commission. This caused protesters to gather outside of her taxpayer-funded mansion last week, and commence the historic “Operation Gridlock” display that has since gone viral and spread throughout the country.

Graphic videos have been posted on social media of protesters being physically removed from the Capitol premises. One protester, Michigan United for Liberty organizer Wendy Darling, received particularly harsh treatment. During one stretch of the video, she can be seen having a panic attack. She reported suffering serious injuries and needing to be hospitalized because of how she was treated by security personnel in the Capitol.

“I went above and beyond to get extra press credentials today and then they wouldn’t let us in and wouldn’t let the Capitol Police come in and took upon theirself to assault and battery me,” Darling said in a video address to her supporters describing the abusive treatment she received while awaiting her X-rays in a local hospital.

“The numbness from the panic attack is wearing off. In a lot of pain. Whole right side of body, head, neck, back, my right wrist is the worst from the Friction burns,” Darling wrote about her incident in the Michigan United for Liberty group on Facebook.

She added: “Completely unnecessary. Illegal for so many reasons.”

Law enforcement is aware of the matter and are conducting an investigation into the case of blatant thuggery against these individuals who were exercising their 1st Amendment rights.

“One of the protesters — one of the citizens — that was removed from the House gallery was complaining of unspecified injuries. At her request, she was transported from the Capitol Building down to Sparrow Hospital. I have one of my detectives, sergeants, down at the hospital now that is interviewing her, taking her statement as to what happened and her account of what transpired. If she has any injuries, they will be documented and photographed and they will be included in our report that is sent to the prosecutor’s office,” said Michigan State Police 1st Lt. Darrin Green.

Darling is already one of the many individuals working on various lawsuits against the state over the governor’s unconstitutional edicts. Because of her mistreatment in the Capitol, Darling may be working on another lawsuit to redress the cruel and unusual punishment inflicted upon her earlier today in the future as well.

BACKLASH: Largest Protest of Its Kind in Michigan History Occurs Outside of Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Mansion

The anti-quarantine protesters made history.

A group of over 100 protesters gathered outside of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s taxpayer-funded mansion on Thursday as the next phase of the resistance commenced against her lockdown tyranny following last week’s successful “Operation Gridlock,” which sparked copycat protests across the country.

Set up by liberty activist and attorney Nicholas Somberg, West Michigan Politics journalist Brandon Hall, and Rob Cortis of the Trump Unity Bridge, the organizers rallied people to engage in civil disobedience against Whitmer’s overreaching orders outside of her own home.

Big League Politics reported earlier this month that individuals are now subject to a $1,000 fine if they stand within six feet of another individual and are reported to authorities. Whitmer has also effectively banned gardening services, selling seeds, motorboating, and most private business in the state while still allowing the sale of marijuana, liquor and lottery tickets. The gross hypocrisy and inanity of her edicts has sparked an unprecedented resistance.

Somberg trolled Whitmer by bringing an “assault weedwacker” outside of her property and doing “illegal” landscaping while and daring the state to send a misdemeanor violation to his law firm.

“It is a crime, it’s a misdemeanor to do the lawn to do any landscaping of any property that is not your own, but we come here and see her property is already done.” Attorney Nicholas Somberg said in a video posted on Facebook. “If you are a landscaper, a hard worker with a business or a family keeping food on the table, and you did what I just did, you’re a criminal and you get to get locked up.”

“The fact that I am a medical professional and not allowed to offer my services to the people of Michigan is an outrage. Hospitals are supposedly overflowing and slammed, but I am kept from helping my fellow man,” said Pete Trzos, who was made into a felon for opening a medical marijuana dispensary arbitrarily deemed unlawful by the state.

“I can’t even get in touch with Whitmer’s office. I can’t get a hold of a secretary, or an intern. She clearly has no regard for the people of Michigan. She thinks we are peasants, and she is using this crisis to crack down on our freedoms, not to help people,” he added.

The protest went on despite the whines of the RINOs in the state, including Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey. Shirkey is a member of the cowardly caucus of Republican state legislators who essentially signed over absolute power to Whitmer earlier this month.

“Don’t protest at homes,” Shirkey wrote. “Even the public Governor’s residence. It is indeed public property. But the adjacent properties and neighborhood are not.”

Despite Shirkey’s reticence, law enforcement reported that the protest was lawful and orderly, with the vast majority of protesters abiding by social distancing guidelines. There were no problems caused to the community by the protesters.

Michigan State Police First Lt. Darren Green told the Detroit News that he noticed “some familiar faces” from last week’s rally and said that protesters were “polite” and for the most part did “a really good job of doing social distancing.” Protesters greeted law enforcement at the event and told them that they stood by them during this trying time.

“Today, we sent an unequivocal message to Gretchen Whitmer: Open Michigan NOW! The Wolverine Queen’s taxpayer-funded castle is fair game,” Hall wrote.

Overall, the demonstration dubbed “Operation Queens Castle” was a smashing success. It was the biggest rally of its kind in Michigan history, with no protest at the governor’s doorstep of this magnitude ever taking place before Thursday. The next big protest is expected to take place on Thursday, Apr. 30 in Lansing at the State Capitol.

Civil Rights Lawsuit Filed Against Anti-Trump Michigan Governor Over Coronavirus Shutdown Orders

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who has emerged as one of the most partisan and classless leaders in the country during the coronavirus pandemic, is being challenged with a civil rights lawsuit over executive orders that have caused pro-life activists to be deprived of their 1st Amendment rights.

The American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) filed the lawsuit on Wednesday night to dispute the constitutionality of Whitmer’s “Shelter in Place” order. The group contends that Whitmer’s executive orders unlawfully punish the free speech of pro-life protesters Andrew Belanger, Justin Phillips, and Cal Zastrow, who are listed as the plaintiffs on the lawsuit. Whitmer and the City of Detroit are listed as the defendants.

Whitmer issued the executive orders on Mar. 24, which effectively shut down most businesses throughout the state. However, abortion clinics were kept open so women could continue slaughtering their babies in the womb during the coronavirus pandemic. These clinics are also hogging medical supplies during a time in which they are desperately needed to combat the spread of coronavirus.

The AFLC believes that the rights of these pro-life activists were violated when the individuals attempted to engage in pro-life activism last weekend. According to the lawsuit, Belanger was mobbed by eight police vehicles and 15 police officers while protesting at the Scotsdale Women’s Center in Detroit on March 31. His fellow activists, Phillips and Zastrow, arrived after the cops showed up on the scene.

“We’re here for a violation of a stay at home order by the Governor,” one of the officers allegedly said to the pro-life activists who were not permitted to engage in 1st Amendment activism due to Whitmer’s decree.

Belanger received a “State of Michigan Uniform Law Citation,” which would be a misdemeanor violation if he is ultimately convicted of the offense, for his pro-life activism. This occurred despite Belanger’s insistence that social distancing guidelines were being followed during the protest. The officers apparently told the pro-life activists that the baby murder going on in the clinic was considered “essential” while their Christian protest was considered not “essential.”

“The scope of our lawsuit and request for a restraining order are narrow. We do not advance a general challenge to the constitutionality of the Governor’s Executive Order, nor do we seek to halt its enforcement outside of the very limited and narrow scope of our challenge,” AFLC co-founder and senior counsel Robert Muise explained about his organization’s lawsuit.

“We understand the critical need to stop the spread of the corona virus, as do our clients, who are adhering to the social distancing guidelines. Through this litigation, we only seek to prohibit the use of the Executive Order to criminalize our clients’ peaceful, free speech activity on the public sidewalks outside of abortion centers throughout Michigan,” he added.

Muise believes that Whitmer’s executive orders are capricious and unlawful because they carve out exceptions for Michigan residents to use public sidewalks “[t]o engage in outdoor activity, including walking, hiking, running, cycling, or any other recreational activity consistent with remaining at least six feet from people.” However, there are no provisions in the executive orders to protect the 1st Amendment rights of protesters such as these pro-life activists.

“Indeed, under the current enforcement of this Order, our clients’ First Amendment activity is a crime. Yet, an individual could use the very same sidewalk to walk, hike, run, cycle or engage in other similar recreational activity without receiving a criminal citation for doing so. This our Constitution does not permit,” Muise said.

AFLC co-founder and senior counsel David Yerushalmi notes that the coronavirus pandemic, while an urgent public health emergency, will never kill a fraction of the amount that are murdered annually due to abortion.

“If the stated purpose of the Executive Order is true—that it was issued “to sustain or protect life”—then Governor Whitmer should order the immediate closure of all abortion centers throughout the State. Indeed, there is little doubt that abortion will be responsible for killing more human lives this year in the United States alone than COVID-19 will kill in the entire world during the course of this current pandemic,” he said

The AFLC has also filed a motion that would stop the enforcement of Whitmer’s executive orders while the case is active. The case was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan on Apr. 1 and will be heard by Judge Janet T. Neff, who was appointed to the bench by former President George W. Bush.

Michigan ER Nurse: ‘It’s Going to Be Just like Italy’

A Michigan emergency room nurse on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic issued a dire warning and chilling update on the reality of the virus and the strain it is having on hospitals, begging people to stay home and warning that “it’s getting to the point now that it’s going to be just like Italy.”

Mary MacDonald, who works for the Ascension Health System, posted a viral update on Instagram this week, detailing her experience after working at the Southfield location to assist with an influx of patients.

“I’ll have to admit, in being totally transparent, if you had asked me ten-plus days ago if I thought this was going to get as bad as it was, I would have told you no,” she said in the video:

“I mean, you heard the rumors. You saw the trends. But until you see if first hand, you just have no idea what it’s like — what’s it’s going to be like. And it’s truly frightening,” she continued, explaining that they are now seeing double — even triple — the number of patients coming in, many of whom are not getting tested.

Coming into the hospital, she said, does not serve to benefit a person unless he or she is experiencing “respiratory distress,” and even then, the hospitals are quickly running low on vital supplies to treat those patients — from ventilators to Tylenol.

“It’s getting to the point now that it’s going to be just like Italy. We intubated, from 10:00 p.m. last night to this morning, we intubated two of my patients within a half hour. And upwards of ten patients were put on ventilators. My patient took the last ventilator available in the hospital,” she said, further detailing the chilling new reality.

“Resources are very slim. We have no medications to keep these patients even ventilated, let alone ventilators,” she said. “Medications like fentanyl or propofol that would keep a patient sedated while they’re intubated we’re out of. … We’re out of Tylenol.”

“And that’s not even going back to the fact that we don’t have any ventilators to put these patients on, so we’re going to start making life or death decisions in regards to people’s care,” she said.

“So you’re going to come in and you’re going to get tagged whether you deem necessary to even get intubated, or are you being sent home to die,” she added:

Normally, if a patient was to pass away, it would be because we tried everything that we could, we did everything that we could, we had all the resources and all the people that we needed to help save this patient’s life, and it was just their time. And now, we aren’t giving the patient the time to choose whether it’s their time or not. We’re choosing for them.

“I never wanted to go into a career where I wasn’t able to save everyone,” the nurse said.

“This is truly scary, and nobody is taking it seriously,” she continued, noting the pictures on social media of spring breakers partying on beaches and others not practicing proper social distancing.

Hospitals are also running out of gloves, and medical professionals are forced to reuse masks “because we are completely out of resources,” MacDonald continued.

“There are no masks. There are no gowns. They’re running low on gloves because everyone has panicked and stockpiled this so that medical staff doesn’t have it,” she said, showing the camera the brown paper bag she uses to transport her mask to and from work.

“We cannot stay safe, and we cannot care for all of these people that are coming in because no one is taking this seriously. And I am being super transparent. I was one of those people that wasn’t taking it seriously,” she said.

“But I’m here to tell you that you need to. We are literally making life and death decisions for people,” MacDonald added, begging people to heed her advice and stay home.

“Stay home with your loved ones. Don’t go out. Don’t go to the grocery store. Don’t go through the drive-thrus. Don’t do anything that could put you at risk to have to see me at the end of the tunnel,” she said. “I’m telling you it’s not worth it. And I don’t know what I can do to save people anymore, and that is something I’ve never wanted to say in my entire career.”

Her warning comes as Michigan emerges as one of the United States’ latest coronavirus hotspots, with nearly 3,000 confirmed cases and 60 related deaths, including a Detroit mother of four.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) has issued stringent stay-at-home orders, which prohibit “all public and private gatherings of any number of people occurring among persons outside a single household.”

WATCH: Huge Detroit Gang Fight Occurs in Streets Amidst Coronavirus Lockdown

There was some wildin’ in the Detroit streets on Sunday.

A huge fight took place on the streets of Detroit on Sunday with over one hundred residents engaging in the massive skirmish that is the latest stain on the beleaguered and desolate town.

The video has garnered a great deal of shock as Michigan attempts to maintain social distancing and take other precautions to stop the spread of Chinese coronavirus. Even individuals who attended the melee were making exasperated comments about the shameful, violent ordeal.

“What in the corona and boxing is going on here?” the individual shooting the video said.

Everyone seemed befuddled about the reasoning behind the fight, which apparently happened for no good reason.

“This is some kind of rivalry,” a man in the video said. “I mean the whole street.”

“We’re supposed to be quarantined and we’re out here watching a gd*** boxing match on the street … quarantine and fight,” said the videographer.

“This why school needs to be still goin on,” an individual wrote in response to the video on Facebook.

Meanwhile, Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced a mandatory lock-down throughout the entire state on Monday, with all “non-essential” businesses being forcibly closed. It is expected to be in effect for at least three weeks.

“You can go outside. Get some fresh air, walk your dog. Just be smart about it. Maintain that 6-foot distance,” she said on Monday.

“Let me give you a little perspective here,” she added. “We have about 25,000 acute care beds in Michigan. … That means without aggressive additional measures, more people will get sick, more people will die and our economy will suffer longer.”

“On a personal note I know the lack of control can be disorienting, so I urge you to focus on what you can control,” Whitmer said while addressing the public. “This crisis can take a toll on your mental health. Check in with family, call your loved ones, go for a walk, read those books on your list, even go outside and put your holiday lights back up.”

“We must keep our wits about us. That means all of us. Be sensitive to how our kids are feeling. They are not immune to the stress of this environment. Check in with them and help them understand, and give them the reassurance that they need,” she added.

These irresponsible Detroit residents, by wildin’ out on the streets during a pandemic, have given the Democrat governor the excuse she needed for another unconstitutional power-grab using coronavirus as the pretense.
