From Burkini to Obesity: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Features Morbidly Obese Bikini Model

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit featured a morbidly obese bikini model this week as part of their new push for ‘diversity.’

Hunter McGrady, the young woman featured in Sports Illustrated SI 2019 is no doubt very pretty, however, she is morbidly obese.

“For too long we have heard talk that we need of diversity in media, but what exactly does that look like. The concept of diversity encompasses acceptance and respect. It means understanding that each individual is unique, and not only recognizing our individual differences, but accepting them wholeheartedly.” Hunter said in a SI column when asked what her thoughts on diversity are. “Differences of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs or other ideologies need to be fully embraced as the very fabric that make up our modern understanding of the world today.”

Morbid obesity is one of the leading preventable causes of cancer and should never be celebrated –it is not ‘diverse,’ it is very unhealthy.

People who are morbidly obese, which is defined as being 100 pounds over his/her ideal weight, increase their chances of getting many different types of cancers.

Super morbidly obese women are 7 times more likely to develop endometrial cancer (cancer of the lining of the uterus) than normal weight women.

Obesity is not something that should be promoted or celebrated.

A couple weeks ago, Sports Illustrated glamorized the oppression of women and promoted Sharia law by featuring a Muslim woman donning a hijab and burkini.

“We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Halima Aden is the newest member of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuitfamily, making history as the first Muslim model to wear a hijab and burkini in the magazine,” SI wrote.

The oppression of women and morbid obesity is now being celebrated by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit under the guise of diversity. Let that sink in.

The hijab and burkini have officially made their debut in the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

In a series of social media posts Monday, the magazine unveiled some of its new swimsuit models, including 21-year-old Somali-American model and activist Halima Aden, whom the publication is touting for “making history” by being the first to ever wear the Islamic garb for SI Swimsuit.

The magazine posted a photograph of Halima on Monday wearing an electric blue burkini, which fully covers her arms and legs, as well as a multi-colored hijab covering her hair — garb designed to conceal women’s bodies in alignment with Islamic moral codes.

“Halima Aden makes history as the first model to wear a hijab and burkini for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit,” the publication tweeted Monday.

The magazine then retweeted a post by model Hunter McGrady touting the debut of Islam-inspired full-body coverings. “Once again, so proud to be a part of this incredible issue,” wrote McGrady.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit also posted a video of Aden discussing her opportunity to wear Muslim garb for the magazine. “I never really felt represented because I never could flip through a magazine and see a girl who was wearing a hijab,” she said in a quote highlighted by the publication.

In a press release, SI Swimsuit editor MJ Day emphasized that by including Aden in this year’s publication, the magazine is attempting to present an expanded “range and scope of the type of beauty that exists” and further affirm women’s individuality and self-worth.

“Having Halima as a part of SI Swimsuit is yet another example of the range and scope of the type of beauty that exists,” said Day, HuffPost reports. “Her participation and inclusion further highlights the brand’s commitment and belief in supporting women to own who they are and what makes them unique and ultimately reaffirms what our messaging has been, that YOU are worthy.”

“This feature is proving that a fully covered hijab wearing model can confidently stand alongside a beautiful woman in a revealing bikini and together they can celebrate one another, cheer each other on, and champion each other’s successes,” said Aden in a statement. “Young Muslim women need to know that there is a modest swimsuit option available to them so they can join the swim team, participate in swim class at school and go with their friends to the beach. Muslim girls should feel confident taking that step and doing so comfortably while wearing a burkini.”

Aden’s photoshoot was conducted in Kenya, where, as Page Six highlights, “she was born into a refugee camp and lived until she was seven years old.” The magazine features Aden in two different burkinis designed by No Ka’Oi and Cynthia Rowley, the outlet reports.

While the magazine is promoting the modesty-focused attire of Aden, it also continues to promote its more “traditional” swimsuits, like that sported by McGrady. “Hunter McGrady’s bride squad knows how to throw a bachelorette weekend!” SI Swimsuit tweeted in a post retweeted by McGrady.

German headmaster suggested Christian girl wear a hijab to stop bullies

A school in Frankfurt has come under fire after its headmaster told a young girl she should wear a hijab if she doesn’t want to get bullied.

The student’s mother told the Bild newspaper that her daughter was “beaten and verbally attacked on the way to school” by a group of Muslim girls.

She explained that her daughter was targeted because “she has blond hair, no headscarf, has a German-Hebrew name – and we are Christians”.

The bullying was so bad it left the fifth grader with a “massive fear of going to school”.
When she took her concerns to the schools headmaster, she was told her daughter should ‘cover up’ if she doesn’t want to get bullied.

“Your daughter does not have to say that she is German”, the headmaster reportedly told her. “Besides, you can give her a headscarf.”

The school in question didn’t respond to Bild’s request for comment, however, the mother confirmed that their situation is a lot better now she has removed her daughter from the school.

There have been other recent cases of religious bullying in other schools across Germany.

The Bild also cited one in Bavaria in which a father said his son and daughter came home one day panicked because another child had told them he would cut off their heads because they are Christians.

In Bonn, another mother said her daughter had shared a similar experience saying, “Our daughter and several classmates of the third grade were put under pressure by a classmate. They were threatened with the words, ‘Your parents will burn in hell if they do not believe in Allah’.”

Religious bullying has been especially prevalent in Berlin where many schools have high populations of migrant-background students.

In 2018, a group of Berlin teachers spoke out about religious bullying saying that German students could be bullied for as little as bringing a ham sandwich for their lunch because pork is forbidden in Islam.

The group advocated the Pro Berlin Neutrality Act which backs up existing legislation to ban religious symbols, such as the headscarf, from classrooms to combat religious bullying.

Austria, meanwhile, has implemented a headscarf ban in kindergartens and has been considering similar bans in elementary schools as well.

New Zealanders across the country stopped to recognize the Muslim call to prayer as news anchors and armed police officers wore hijabs in solidarity one week after the Christchurch mosque massacre.

The call to prayer preceded a two minutes silence. The video below appears to show the event at a shopping mall.

In other capital cities such as London, “Allahu Akbar” rung out in memory of the victims.

Meanwhile, according to one Guardian journalist, “New Zealand television journalists and anchors are wearing headscarves for their live broadcasts and using Arabic greetings.”

Another image shows an armed female police officer wearing a hijab as a show of support to the Muslim community.

TYPICAL: Ultra Liberal Rabbi Jonah Pesner Tweets Support For Radical Anti-Semite Democrat Ilhan Omar

The only people left who think Ilhan Omar isn’t a rabid anti-semite also think OJ didn’t do it, and that the moon landing was faked. You’d have to be a flat-earther to continue making excuses for her bigotry and hatred.

That’s why it’s especially galling to see a rabbi race to defend Ilhan, and in a completely ridiculous way, comparing the yarmulka (kippah) to hijab.

The hijab, like the kippah I wear, is a symbol of faith protected by the Constitution. Freedom of religion is a source of this nation’s strength.

On it’s face, yes, the hijab is in fact protected under the constitution. No free Muslim should be forced by law to remove it. The same way no free Muslim should be forced by law to wear it. But that’s where the comparison ends.

NO the kippah is NOT anything like the hijab. No modern Jew has ever been forced by law to wear it. A jewish man can walk into just about ANY synagogue in this country, or around the world, and opt out of the kippah and have no problem from anyone.

Can the same be said for muslim women and the hijab? Not likely. Especially around the world. The West is where Muslim women come to ESCAPE the hijab and other compulsory religious requirements. Is there any place a Jew ever has to flee to escape the yarmulka?

Rabbi Pesner is exactly the kind of ultra-progressive Jew who is murdering Judaism with his radical leftism. He might mean well, but he’s doing horrific damage by running interference for oppression under the guise of religious freedom.

Liberal Jews need to realize they’re putting the entire community at risk when they allow themselves to be used by anti-Semites, the way Ilhan is using the tweet Rabbi Pesner put up. She’s wrapping herself in the protective blanket of his Jewish stamp of approval.

Of course, we don’t expect Rabbi Pesner to get the message anytime soon. After all, how many rabbis line up to stand shoulder to shoulder with Jesse “Hymie Town” Jackson, as seen above? That’s some offensive sh!t right there, Rabbi.

Last, if sharia mandated modesty is so super awesome, why do Islamic sex slaves burn their body suits as the first act of liberation when they’re given the opportunity?

Rage and puzzlement over Muslim woman in hijab chosen for Swedish municipality’s welcome sign

A Swedish municipality is facing backlash after selecting a local Muslim woman wearing a headscarf to be the ‘poster girl’ for its roadside ‘welcome’ sign. Her past ties to a controversial local imam were also discovered.

The municipality said it was a gesture celebrating the diversity of its community, which counts over 100,000 people of various origins and cultures. But some saw it as a signal of support for suppressing women’s freedoms.

“One should think what this is signaling. Some indeed use this garment, the hijab, voluntarily. But not everyone. This a garment that for millions of women around the world represents a lack of freedom,” said Sweden Democrats MP Roger Hedlund, a member of the municipality council, as quoted by the news website Nyheter Idag.

The Sweden Democrats party has an anti-immigration platform and currently holds 62 seats in the 349-seat Swedish parliament. Samhallsnytt, an online publication reportedly close to the party, was quick to dig Hindi’s past ties to a controversial local imam, who was accused of preaching radical ideas and collecting money for terrorists in Iraq and Syria.

Indeed, in 2009 the woman, who called herself Nizam Hindi at the time, was featured in a story by the left-leaning tabloid Arbetarbladet about the opening of a mosque in Gavle. She explained how having their own prayer house was good for the Swedish municipality’s Muslim community, how aid from Saudi Arabia and Qatar helped to buy and furnish the building, and how listening to the imam is important during the prayer.

The Al-rashideen mosque and its imam, Abu Raad, were involved in a scandal a few years ago, after the leading local newspaper Gefle Dagblad accused him of spreading radical Salafist ideas and collecting money for terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq.

The editor-in-chef received death threats over the criticism. The man who issued the threats was sentenced to two months in jail.

It was not immediately clear whether Hindi is still associated with the mosque.

Gavle itself was the scene of a national scandal in Sweden two years ago, when six people were tried for the abduction and murder of 23-year-old Afghan man Ramin Sherzaj over an extramarital affair. Five received life sentences for the crime, while one got a 14-year jail term.

The woman involved in the affair, who was a relative of the defendants, left her husband for a brief relationship with Sherzaj. It apparently ended badly, since the man then sent photos of him kissing the woman to her husband’s family members. This led to them banding together to carry out the honor killing.

Doctor and former MP Marcus Franz says white girls in Vienna, Austria have begun wearing Islamic headscarves to prevent street harassment by male Muslim migrants.

During an appearance on OE24, Franz revealed that in migrant-heavy areas fathers were telling their daughters to wear hijabs so as to disguise the fact that they are non-Muslim.

“Speak with women on the street, speak with children, speak with young girls, I myself know fathers who, when their daughters who are coming home in the evening, when they live in a problem area, give them headscarves so they won’t be recognized as Austrians,” said Franz.

“I know this personally, in the 15th district (Vienna), this is a fact,” he added, saying that women were afraid because of “permanent micro-aggressions” and being sexually propositioned by Muslim men.

He added that the girls were being “propositioned with unpleasant aggression and attitudes, and the girls and women, quite simply, are afraid.”

“You can see it in the population if you work in a social profession like me,” remarked Franz, adding, “We need to distinguish clearly between the settled population and those who have arrived more recently.”

The story bears some similarities to how some German girls in migrant-heavy schools are also wearing hijabs to prevent bullying.

As we previously reported, a mother in Germany whose daughter was being bullied by Muslim students because she was blonde, Christian and didn’t wear a headscarf was told by the headmaster of a school in Frankfurt to cover her up with a hijab.

The mother of the student told BILD that her daughter was being bullied by Muslim girls to such a degree that she had to “take them out of school for protection.”

“She was beaten and verbally attacked on the way to school,” said the mother, explaining that abuse was because her daughter has blonde hair, doesn’t wear a headscarf, has a German-Hebrew name and is a Christian.

When the headmaster was informed of the situation, he advised the mother to cover up her daughter with a hijab.

“Your daughter does not have to say that she is German. Besides, you can give her a headscarf!” she was told.
